Our wedding was last weekend at the Strathallan- cannot recommend them enough as a wedding venue!!!! It was the best weekend of my life. Our ceremony was in the Century Club and reception in the Cityview Ballroom. Our guests raved about the food, friendly staff, and spaces throughout the entire weekend. Throughout the planning process, everyone we worked with at the strath was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Big shout out to our venue coordinator Jasmyn- she is wonderful! Her attention to detail, organization, communication, warmth, spunk, just all around a wonderful person to make our wedding reality. Snippets from my mom's email to the Strathallan team after our wedding- As I sit back at my desk on a school lunch break, I am smiling from ear to ear!! Our family and friends, and most important Don & Lori were ecstatic about our beautiful wedding ceremony & reception this past Saturday night. Your incredible Strathallan team, led by the AHMAAAZING Jasmyn, was supportive, attentive to the big and smallest details, nurturing to all our various requests, 'ordering food' and décor advice when we were clueless, understanding and generous with our room block with various guests and their individual needs ......oy vey...... I could go on and on about how patient, kind and most professional each of you were when planning this huge event with us over the last year. Every staff person, including the reception desk staff, always made us feel well cared for, and no worry or concern was ever put on the back burner. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN for taking such good care of all of us, as we keep hearing from our guests what a beautiful affair we had.

We had the most magical reception here! Jasmine, our day of coordinator made every detail go so smooth. She was so professional, detail oriented and positive. My mom and I miss working with her! The food was outstanding and the room was decorated perfectly as I had planned. Jasmine went above and beyond, texting me in her off time the week of the wedding to ensure my gobo light was correct and arrived in time. (It did!) The view of the city was so romantic as the evening went on. We love it there so much. Highly recommend. We had a party of 150 guests that fit comfortably with all the decor, dance floor, Photo Booth, etc.

We had our reception in August and we were so happy with how everything turned out! Everyone raved about the food and view. We did not realize how much people would love the outdoo...

r space but it was a huge hit. Our coordinator, Adam, was amazing and held our hands through every step. He truly went above and beyond in so many ways. The banquet manager, servers and bartenders were all so kind and helpful to our many requests and last minute changes.

I had two children use Strathallan for their wedding receptions. One for ceremony as well. We started with one planner and she left within a month of signing. Our second one, Noell...

e, was amazing!! She unfortunately left the Strath before the wedding. The next planner was just ok. The ceremony was in the yard. The planner is in ALL the photos of wedding party coming down the aisle. Wrong! Everything went smoothly until dinner. It took a very long time to serve the guests. At the end of the evening a small group was in the private bar area upstairs. During that time a staff member or security member stole my daughter’s bouquet. The planner passed us to the manager. The manager claimed the security cameras were not taping. What’s the point in having them?! Wouldn’t a hotel manager want to know if the staff is stealing things from guests who spent thousands of dollars for a reception. At the very least he could have offered the bride and groom free night free meal. Something! They also broke the framed photo that was used for guests to sign. Would never use them again.

menal-not one complaint from the guests. The service was outstanding. Jackie was wonderful to work with and had everything set up exactly like my daughter wanted.

nish. From taking care of setting up the small details so I didn't have to worry to helping my husband and Dad pull off some amazing surprises during the Reception...they were the best! Planning was a breeze and Noelle was easy to communicate with via email during the months leading up to the wedding. We felt like we knew exactly what was going on and never felt out of the loop. There is plenty to choose from when it comes to creating your menu and everything was amazing. Narrowing down our choices was the hard part! To this day, all of our guest are still raving about the food (both the 14 oz. steak and the late night garbage plates to be specific). But most importantly, they take care of the Bride & Groom. A room was included in the price of the Ballroom and our coordinator made sure hors d'oeuvres were waiting in our suite when we freshened up before heading up to our cocktail hour. When we arrived late and couldn't stop into our room? She had them brought to our table instead. When we didn't get a chance to stop dancing and eat our cake? They had it boxed up and ready for us to take back to our room. Weddings are expensive but The Strathallan was worth every cent.

Strathallan is really expensive, and the block rate is no different than their published rates. We made a block there because it is a 2 minute walk to our ceremony/reception (RMSC)...

, but otherwise would not have. For the price, many of the rooms didn't seem to be worth the price (on the other hand, they did give us a very good room). The hospitality manager is very nice, but the people at the service desk range from short to nice. Often I would get on the telephone to ask them a question, and they'd answer it and hang right up rather than waiting to see if I had any other questions or asking if they could help in any way. They also were not willing to make any sort of price concessions.

The service was outstanding, when I ran out of time to finishing stuffing my "out of town bags" Amy Lute (helped us co-ordinate booking, morning after breakfast) took care of it for me. Amy also was very responsive on emails when answer all of my million questions. I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else!
