Strongwater Private Events

We were incredibly pleased with how everything was handled for our wedding at Strongwater. Our coordinator Melissa did a fantastic job working with us to make sure our day went flawless. She kept every detail we discussed running on time. Food was great, cocktails were great, and we just can't say enough about the space itself. If you're looking for a unique place to have your wedding, you won't be disappointed. Plus you have Land Grant right across the street for an after party. Definitely give Strongwater a look!

My husband and I had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Strongwater on June 24, 2023. It’s a beautiful and unique venue that provides a gorgeous backdrop for the evening, as well as lots of fun places around Franklinton for additional photos. One of the things that really stood out to us when we were venue shopping was the skylights, which allow for a natural, warm light as long as the sun is up. Additionally, the food was amazing. We opted a family style meal (note, plated is not currently an option if you’re using Strongwater’s catering), which I was very hesitant about, but everything went off without a hitch. The food was delicious and guests couldn’t stop complimenting the meal. Not only was everyone well fed (an issue I’ve had at other similar experiences) but we actually went home with lots of leftovers. We also worked with the manager ahead of time to create two signature cocktails and a mocktail (highly recommend), and they turned out both unique and delicious! The entire Strongwater team was an absolute pleasure to work with. The entire team was professional, pleasant, helpful and worked hard to make the night a wonderful experience. Their dedication to ensuring that everyone there had an unforgettable evening did not go unnoticed. We also have to give a special callout to Melissa, our venue coordinator. Apparently we were her first official wedding at Strongwater, but you would have never known it – her level of expertise and professionalism was truly remarkable. Melissa was clearly committed to understanding our needs and desires, and worked hard to ensure those were met. She was responsive and attentive, ensuring our wedding planning process was smooth and stress-free. Melissa was amazing to work with throughout the entire process, but really went above and beyond the day of our wedding when we ran into issues with the coordinator we hired (most of which we didn’t even know about that day because Melissa just handled it). We credit a huge amount of the success of our day to her for stepping-up and stepping-in when she saw things going off course – going well above the duties that were actually hers – and for that we could not be more grateful.

We are so glad we chose this venue! It is beautiful and has many perks. I loved being able to have getting ready suites, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same place. Having a day-of-coordinator included was a huge plus and Melissa helped the day go by so smoothly.

Everything was perfect! Rooms to get ready on site, indoor and outdoor spaces, the staff flips the room for you if needed and will set up tables. The food is amazing if you decide to go with the catering through the venue (which I would recommend). Elenore our venue coordinator answered every ridiculous question I had from 6 months before the wedding to even 3 weeks after. Beautiful space inside and out. Parking lot. I could go on and on. PERFECT for a medium sized wedding.

We had our perfect day at Strongwater! Sara was our venue coordinator and she was an absolute dream to work with. She was on top top of it from the time we were connected all the way through our wedding day. She answered all of my crazy questions and was very professional and patient when we had a few bumps in the road (not her fault). Overall, in the past year we could see that Strongwater was experiencing some growing pains as a business and trying to hone in on their procedures and appropriate pricing, a few changes caught us off guard but were eventually worked out. They also had some staffing changes while we were planning which cause a few communication bumps. Overall, they handled everything well and our day was absolutely perfect. And I really can’t recommend Sara enough. Hopefully they’ve got everything set now and are ready to move forward as a popular venue choice!

I can not recommend Strongwater enough! Our wedding day was absolute perfection!!! Elenore, Nick, and the rest of the events team did a knock out job! The whole day was so smooth! We could not have asked for a better venue to get married at. The food was delicious, the ambience was perfection, and the staff accommodating. Thank you SO much for helping make our special day even that more special!

I wish it wasn't over! Strongwater was a DREAM to work with. They made everything we pictured come to life, they worked so well with all of our other vendors, the food and drinks were amazing, and they communicated so well from the very first day. We got to work with a couple of the coordinators during the planning process, but Sam was hands down the BEST. She made sure everything moved along flawlessly and she is the absolute SWEETEST. I will forever recommend Strongwater for weddings and events to everyone I know!

We got married at Strongwater in July 2022 on a Friday and we were so happy with our service, the venue, food and drinks! Sam was my day of coordinator and she was SO helpful throughout the planning process. I had a million questions the weeks leading up to the big day and she was always quick to respond. She led our rehearsal and made sure everything went smooth on our wedding day. The space is beautiful and just what we wanted for our wedding day. The BBQ buffet was delicious as well as the apps. Our guests were pleased with the food and the variety of wines and beers that were offered. We were able to pre-purchase Whiteclaw to be offered at our wedding which Sam helped coordinate. We loved the industrial look of the space (inside and outside) which made for awesome wedding photos! We were so happy and pleased with our wedding day, I wish we could do it all over again! Thanks Sam and Team!

Strongwater was honestly the best choice for a wedding venue. All of the staff and coordinators were friendly, helpful, and made our big day go off without a hitch! Naomi, Sam, and Elenore were extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything! The food was great, we barely had to decorate the already beautiful venue, and our guests loved it. Without exaggeration, we can truly say that the day was perfect, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We would and will highly recommend them to anyone we know looking for an event venue. The prices were fair and affordable for Columbus, and you definitely get your money’s worth!

The day of the wedding went perfectly! Our day of coordinator was Sara and she was AMAZING. About a month before our coordinators switched, but Sara jumped right on in and helped finish important last minute details. She worked really hard to make the day how I envisioned it and truly went above and beyond. She kept track of the details and on the day of she made sure everything went smoothly. She helped with set up, made sure dinners arrived to tables quickly, and even found some shout wipes to help clean my dress when I walked right through a muddy puddle. :) I can’t describe how thankful I was to have Sara as our coordinator. The reason for 4/5 was just overall a few communication struggles and delays (unrelated to Sara). I also felt like it ended up being pricier in some areas. The venue is so beautiful and Sara was the best. I would definitely recommend. :)

We were excited to host our event at Strongwater and signed our venue contract. Then there was a bait and switch and what we felt was extremely unprofessional behavior on the part of Naomi. I gave them some stars because they ended up refunding our deposit without issue. The catering documentation that both Naomi and Stephanie provided to us before we signed the venue contract stipulates: "Pricing and options are subject to change until the time your catering contract is signed and deposit is submitted". I also explicitly asked Stephanie about the issue of pricing changes when we toured the venue, as I had heard a horror story from a colleague about a venue increasing food prices weeks before an event. Stephanie reassured me that as soon as the catering contract was signed, prices were locked in. We appreciated this transparency and knowing ahead of time what our costs would look like. This is one of the reasons we chose Strongwater. We signed the venue contract with this understanding. Then I reached out about signing the catering contract and Naomi reneged on the written and verbal information provided to us. We understand costs change over time. However, we chose Strongwater in part because the documents provided reassured us that we could estimate our costs up front and not have any unpleasant surprises down the line. We felt like the rug was pulled out from under us. Naomi replied: "You are correct, pricing and options are subject to change until the time your catering contract is signed and deposit is submitted. Again, the catering contract states that pricing can change up to 60 days out. At this time, your catering contract has not been signed nor have your submitted your catering deposit. It doesn't look like your event contract has been signed either. Additionally, please see below for the Entire Agreement clause within your event contract." In other words, we were provided with false information up front. Once we signed the venue contract, the bait and switch was done. Super unprofessional and not a surprise anyone wants. Beware!

My daughter was married at Strongwater in June 2022 and our experience at the venue was amazing!! The event coordinator Naomi was so helpful and knowledgeable, and the entire staff was super friendly. We have memories which will last a lifetime and the staff at Strongwater will always be in our hearts. Thank you Strongwater!!

My husband and I loved our experience with Strongwater! We loved the location and looked of the venue. They were able to capture our vision of what we wanted our day to look like from the food to the set-up. Sam, our event coordinator, was truly amazing. She took care of everything and made sure our wedding went perfectly. We can't thank Strongwater and Sam enough for all their hard work and support! Thank you :)

We had an amazing time at Strongwater for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Naomi and her team did a fantastic job bringing our vision to life and helped make the planning process and event go smoothly. And not only is the event space stunning, but the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding!

My husband and I knew right away that Strongwater was the place we wanted to get married. We fell in love with the aesthetics, the location, everything. The staff is all phenomenal. We had the pleasure of working closely with Matt as our day-of coordinator who made sure everything was stress-free and perfect, but everyone we encountered delivered the same level of professionalism and care. They all treated us like we were the only customers they had, and that our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. The food is amazing, service was awesome, seriously cannot say enough good things. Huge thank you to Matt for making everything run so smoothly and keeping me calm! Everyone at SW is a total pro, and it shows.

I knew I wanted to have my wedding at Strongwater years before I got engaged, the space is absolutely incredible. It’s the most stunning industrial venue that Columbus has to offer. Most things went well throughout my planning process and on the big day. I had 5 different day- of coordinators throughout the year and a half that I spent planning my wedding. When I was passed along to a new coordinator, details were sometimes lost. I understand now that through COVID-19, the venue has experienced higher turnover rates than normal. Which seems consistent with many other industries, unfortunately. We had some frustrations during dinner, since we opted for catering through the Strongwater. Our tasting was perfect, we loved the food and felt confident that the dinner service would go over smoothly- Unfortunately our dinner was halted halfway through service because the kitchen had run out of proteins. Being that our submitted headcount was about 2 dozen higher than the actual amount of guests that attended the wedding this has upset me. It was 20 minutes before they could have more prepared to resume dinner, so our schedule for the evening got a bit twisted around. I felt embarrassed that this happened, but after communicating with the Operations Manager, they were quick to resolve it. I think the agreement that we came to was fair, and I appreciated the apology and readiness to make things right. Truly I love this building, and even through all the difficulties that private events bring in our era of Covid, the staff is working hard to bring you the wedding you planned for. Now looking back, even with a few hiccups in the planning and our day, I appreciate what the people at the Strongwater were willing to do to execute my wedding day.

We held a welcome event for our our of town guests at Strongwater the night before our wedding. This was a pretty low-key event - we just had drinks and dessert. Since Strongwater’s dessert options are limited, we were able to bring in goodies. We were able to drop these off earlier in the day, which was super helpful. Matt was our contact point and he provided great communication and kept the event running smoothly the entire night. We offered a host bar with a limit, and were worried we would hit the limit early in our event. Drinks are reasonably priced and delicious, and the host bar lasted the entire evening! We were in the Annex, and the space itself was great, with both indoor and outdoor seating options and high top tables. We received so many compliments on Strongwater and highly recommend!

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue look no further! This venue is literally one you dream about! The industrial vibe with the exposed metal, brick walls and concrete floors were exactly what we were looking for. With the string lights they have at night it made the space so moody and romantic, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We catered through their restaurant and the food was delicious! We got tons of compliments from all our guests! Not only is the venue perfect and the food to die for but the team is wonderful too! We worked with Lauren and Naomi who were awesome. The month leading up to our wedding we probably sent them 75 emails with random questions. Each of which was always answered timely and with a helpful answer. They never made us feel like our million questions were too much which my type A self really appreciated. I believe Lauren was new to the team at that time but I would have been none the wiser. She was there from the time we arrived until the end of the night and made sure we had everything we needed. Even the wait staff and the bartenders were awesome! The whole crew really did everything I could think of to make our wedding day perfect! I could not recommend Strongwater more!

We had a lot of communication issues leading up to our wedding. They didn’t have an active phone line so we could only communicate through email. We would have meetings with our coordinator that went great and then we’d have to check back in weeks later to get the follow ups we were promised at which point it seemed like no notes had been taken. These issues ended three days before the event when our coordinator let us know they were no longer with the company. Naomi met with us the next day and in the course of an hour and a half went through and took thorough notes and assured us everything would go great. On the day of, I barely saw the Strongwater team. They took care of everything, kept us on schedule, and only checked in with us when necessary. The food was incredible (the chef even took on a carving station at our request), the drinks were great, and obviously the space is beautiful. The only thing I know of that didn’t go perfect on the day of was one GF guest not getting her meal and the GF cupcakes not making it to the GF guests. While I wish we’d had a smoother experience from the beginning, I would absolutely choose Strongwater again.

WOW -- best venue EVER. Not only is Strongwater stunningly beautiful, but the staff were all incredible. Naomi was super responsive to our emails and helped make our day run so smoothly. We knew we could trust her with making sure that everything went according to plan so we could have the day we had dreamed of. Even through having to postpone a year due to COVID-19, Naomi was so accommodating, understanding and helpful with our wedding adjustments and plans. Cannot say enough great things about Strongwater!!!

Strongwater was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding- the venue was gorgeous and the staff so lovely. One of the major pluses of Strongwater is the food- my husband and I wanted brunch food, the chef created a menu just for us (including French toast casserole and chilequillas) that was SO good. In terms of COVID precautions, Strongwater took that very seriously, for which we were incredibly grateful. We downsized our wedding from 200+ to 75 people, and they worked with us the whole time through the process. I cannot recommend them enough!

We are SO happy with our experience of having our wedding ceremony and reception at Strongwater. We cannot give enough praise to their team!! From start to finish, Strongwater was so easy to work with. They were accommodating, professional and friendly- and just overall amazing people! Naomi was our coordinator and answered every single question that I had and never made me feel like my questions were ridiculous! She stayed optimistic and helped us navigate so many unknowns as mask mandates and pandemic conditions made planning tricky. She had such a warm and calming presence throughout the process and kept our day on track- even with unpredictable rain. Everything on the day of went so smoothly, we truly felt like we were being catered to and when the night was handed over to Matt we continued to feel at ease! We continue to hear from our guests about how beautiful and unique the space was. We had the BBQ buffet and our guests also raved about the food- with some saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had!! Our day was an absolute dream and we cannot thank Strongwater enough for their beautiful venue and top-notch staff!

Strongwater hooked us with the gorgeous interior but the team at Strongwater is what sold us! I am so glad we booked there! We were a Covid wedding and the team allowed us to host a small ceremony and move our large reception to another date! They constantly updated us about COVID and their protocols for events. When both the ceremony and reception days came, everything went off without a hitch! Overall, I can not recommend this venue enough!!

We are so happy we chose Strongwater Food & Spirits as our wedding venue! First of all, our vendor coordinator Naomi was fabulous! She was incredibly responsive and resourceful, always having an answer to any questions I came up with! On the day of our wedding, rain unfortunately caused a change of plans, and Naomi worked efficiently with us to help us figure out an alternative option for our ceremony. It was still just as beautiful. Second, the food and drink was wonderful. I loved the food we tried at our tasting, and the quality was just as good (if not better!) when they produced it in large quantities for the wedding itself, which is so impressive! Finally, the venue is gorgeous. There are multiple spaces that allow for the events of the day to flow with ease, and the industrial vibe really creates a unique experience for you and your guests. The staff at Strongwater are truly experts when it comes to throwing a wedding and are so easy to work with. All in all, I would absolutely choose Strongwater and Naomi all over again and can’t recommend them enough!

After mentally choosing a very different venue, my husband and I last minute toured Strongwater after coming across some photos on the ColumbusWedding Instagram hashtag, and after finishing we just turned to each other and said "this is it." We cannot say enough good things about Strongwater - the staff is so friendly and also on top of everything, the venue is perfect for couples wanting an industrial vibe, and the food & drinks are simply the best. When we told our other vendors we were getting married here they all said "oh Strongwater is the best, you're in great hands" and they weren't wrong. Our day went by so smoothly (at least as far as we knew) because of Naomi and the rest of the staff, guests couldn't stop telling us how good dinner and the cocktails were, and the whole place was just beautiful. If you want a low-stress, industrial venue to have an amazing party, this is the place!!!

Strongwater was the only venue we considered, so we chose an available date and got to planning. Naomi (coordinator) was fantastic. She worked great with our Officiant and Livestream/Videographer, and she helped us work out details we hadn't even considered. She was extremely amenable to our ceremony/reception requests and worked to ensure the best layout while balance health and safety protocols. In total I spent less than $500 on decorations (flowers included) because the space is beautiful on its own and Strongwater has a furniture inventory that is first-come first-serve at no extra charge. We were married in the courtyard and had our reception in the Annex. Covid-19 measures were clearly stated and communicated to all guests, which put our guests at ease knowing the space was as safe as possible -- table spacing, staggered release of groups from the ceremony so that there wasn't crowding at the bar, etc. The bartender was great, the catering coordinator was also fantastic, and it truly felt like Strongwater was all-hands on deck the day of to ensure things went swimmingly, and they did! Something couples should know: Due to Covid, they don't bag up catering leftovers (which left my husband and I in a bit of a bind since neither of us got to eat much during the reception). I was only able to get leftovers from our table, but we were very hungry. When we were able to eat, we realized that someone else at our table ate our portions of food because he didn't know it was only a certain amount per person. The groom and I shared 1 appetizer. So definitely request they reserve a plate of food for the newly married couple so that that doesn't happen to you! It's true what they say -- you barely get to eat because the day is so full and the adrenaline of it will keep you on your feet, but once it's all over -- boy does the tummy rumble.

Strongwater was the very first venue we looked at and absolutely fell in love. We looked elsewhere, but couldn't stop thinking about them. From the very beginning, their professionalism and responsiveness was outstanding. Even after the shutdown, they were so easy to get ahold of and was constantly communicating with couples for the always evolving rules and regulations. They offered a postponement plan, but we ended up using the same date we booked (10/23/20). Naomi was my day of coordinator, which comes with the rental. She was SO great, I really don't know what I would've done without her. She made sure the staff and guest safety and health was priority, while making sure I was getting my dream wedding. I would recommend this venue for ceremony and reception (and catering) 100%! If industrial chic is the mood your looking for, you find it at Strongwater.

I know that Strongwater is a really popular spot in Columbus to get married but it was everything we wanted and more. It was beautiful, the wedding coordinator we were assigned, Naomi, was really great and our guests really had a blast. The only issue is that we were passed off to another wedding coordinator near the end of the night and we had a few issues with her. But I'd still recommend Strongwater to anyone!

We loved working with the strongwater staff and having our friends & family in the gorgeous space at 400 rich street. The team has been on top of everything and very flexible with the changes in guest count, tables, last minute etc. Beth made our wedding vision come to life and was a huge help leading up to the event and day of. My husband and I highly recommend!

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at Strongwater - the Gallery and the Annex. It was a dream venue and the entire staff was amazingly attentive. We booked with Molly, Naomi was our Coordinator, Marianne for catering and Matt was the catering captain. All of them knocked it out of the park. From the moment we booked, everything was so simple. Communication was easy and quick to reply. We felt like we could totally enjoy every moment on our wedding day because Naomi and team had everything handled and we fully trusted them. Everything looked so beautiful and each of our vendors raved about working with them, too! The perfect size space for our 160 guests. Thank you for everything. Would recommend to anyone! So amazing!!!

We knew right away we wanted Strongwater for our venue just for the aesthetic, but the staff made our day what it was. We had Beth as our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING. We had so many ridiculous requests, from bringing our dogs to bringing our motorcycles. She not only made everything easy and seamless but she made it seem easy. Neither my husband or I stressed about a thing once Beth was on it. We also did our catering through Strongwater with Marianne as the chef. Her food was to die for and weeks after the wedding, our guests are still bringing it up. Couldn't have asked for a better place to host our wedding!

My husband and I will talk about how incredible our entire experience with Strongwater was for the rest of our lives. We chose Strongwater as our wedding and reception venue and there are no words to describe how wonderful our experience with them was. From their amazing staff, DELICIOUS food, to their breathtaking event space, and seamless planning, our wedding could not have gone any smoother. We had the pleasure of working with Molly our event coordinator, Marianne our catering coordinator, and Naomi our day of coordinator. All 3 of these women are the reason everything turned out so perfectly. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and expertise is what made our day so seamless. The staff was amazing to work with and the space is absolutely amazing! It makes for beautiful photos and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

We booked our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Strongwater, and we could not be happier with the results. The venue was beautiful, clean and inviting. Booking all three areas for our wedding were reasonably priced in comparison to the Columbus wedding venue market. The staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs and our day-of wedding coordinator Naomi was very helpful to our wedding planner in making this the perfect day for us. The bar staff was excellent as we received compliments from our guests that Strongwater had some of the best bar staff they had ever received service from. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have their special day in the Columbus area.

My husband and I are incredibly happy with our decision to have our wedding at Strongwater! We could not have asked for a better, more beautiful, or functional space. Guests from our wedding kept commenting on how unique and cool the space was. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to our calm, cool, and collected day of coordinator Naomi. She blew us away with her patience, understanding, and incredible attention to detail. Being a bride and groom who were planning a wedding from out of state came with it's challenges, but with Strongwater as our venue made many of those hurdles much easier to navigate. Communication and flexibility play a big role in having a positive experience with a vendor, and I can honestly say that Strongwater staff did not disappoint in these areas. Communication with each person we worked with was quick, and they demonstrated much flexibility with face to face meetings as we often were in the area during busy times. Having Naomi made the day of a stress free experience as she was able to make sure all decor was in place and ready to go and was even able to work alongside some of the most particular family members! Working with Marianne on our catering needs was a blessing as well. Our tasting went perfectly, and people are consistently commenting on how good the food was at our wedding. The bacon and cheese meatballs are out of this world and our guests couldn't get enough! I will shout this venues praises from the rooftops. If you are looking for an all in one venue, Strongwater should be on the top of your list!

Strongwater was the perfect wedding venue for us. The location and the feel were everything we were looking for. Naomi was our day of event coordinator and was excellent and communicating and helping us plan the details leading up to our big day. Marianne helped us with the catering and the food and service was amazing. The day of our wedding went smoothly and as we planned. We had the most amazing day and couldn't ask for me. We are so grateful for the amazing service and treatment we received at Strongwater. Highly recommend for couples looking to get married near downtown Columbus! They are dog friendly too!

We had our wedding reception at Strongwater and loved the venue! Ben, our event coordinator, was great with communicating with us & made us feel at ease that everything would be taken care of! We used their catering as well. We did the Taco bar & got so many compliments on the food! Everything was perfect for our big day! We highly recommend Strongwater!

Strongwater was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. We loved the entire space, so we rented the gallery, annex, and courtyard, which enabled us to make a seamless switch from the ceremony (courtyard) to cocktail hour (annex) to reception (gallery). This also provided our guests with quieter spaces to go if they didn't want to stay in the gallery during the entire reception. They have a great selection of furniture to choose from and let you put together a layout of the space so that everyone is on the same page and knows how you want your day to look. I cannot say enough great things about Strongwater! It was such an amazing venue for us!

Loved every part of having our event at strongwater. it was beautiful, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was the best i could have asked for. It poured part of the day, but it made no difference because the venue and the party were so great. Would highly recommend strongwater.

The venue was absolutely gorgeous, and our coordinator did a wonderful job. We only had one snag, and so realize that July is wedding season, but we went weeks without hearing from our corrdinator, and that was a bit stressful. She did get ahold of us about 4 days before, and ended up doing a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Strongwater. We had over 170 people show up, and everyone raves about the food and venue. We did a Taco Bar, and wow was it delicious!

Strongwater was so amazing to work with! And their staff was so helpful the day of our wedding. 10/10 recommend them!

We loved this venue - it was truly everything that we could have wished for on our perfect day! The venue is just incredible and since the venue itself is so stunning, we didn't have to do much decorating. It's beautiful, clean, and affordable! There is also a parking lot, which makes it a lot easier for guests. I recommend renting the whole facility, it is so worth it and your guests will rave about the venue, I PROMISE! This venue definitely receives my highest recommendation!

If you're looking for a unique venue to host your ceremony and reception, look no further! Strongwater was a beautiful site and the staff and event coordinator, Ben Miller, were beyond delightful! We had one of the best nights of my life here! They treated us like gold and we couldn't have been happier!

Loved having our wedding at Strongwater! It was the perfect venue because we could have both our ceremony and reception in the same spot, which was great for a winter wedding. Had a couple of contact responsiveness issues a few weeks out, which is why I can't give a full 5 stars, but everything went SO smoothly on our wedding day. Ally, our event coordinator, really worked hard to make it the most memorable day of our lives! Highly recommend utilizing their catering as well, so many guests raved about the food! If you're looking for a warehouse type venue that's affordable in downtown Columbus, seriously consider Strongwater.

We are so happy we got married at Strongwater! If you're looking for a unique space, great craft beer and cocktails, and yummy food - this is it! We had them cater our wedding in-house, family style and we received so many compliments (even from originally skeptical parents!). The venue staff were really helpful and answered all my questions in preparation for the day. During the reception, everyone who came over to our sweetheart table always asked if we needed anything. The venue and area surrounding offer some amazing backdrops for photographs, even for our end-of-December wedding. I really wish I could do the day all over again :)

We cannot say enough about the venue and staff. If you are looking for something a bit untraditional, out of the box, and eclectic - this is the place. Our day was beyond perfect! Ben at Strongwater was wonderful to work with and made everything a smooth & easy process. Highly recommended !

Strongwater Food and Spirits was absolutely amazing. From the delicious food, to the awesome space, to the atrentive and helpful staff- we couldn't have asked for more!!!

The space speaks for itself and doesn't need much to have a great setting for a wedding which was perfect for my minimalist vibe. We booked all 3 spaces immediately after seeing the venue in person as it fit our personalities perfectly and is reasonably priced for how much space you get. Our guests, even those who've spent some time in Franklinton, couldn't get over how awesome the venue is. As for the staff, Stephen and Linnea are very experienced and professional. They along with their staff, made the day go unbelievably smooth. I was a self-sufficient bride but where I lacked experience they really tied all of my details/vendors together. And since catering and rentals are all in-house it just made it all that much easier.

We loved this unique, non-traditional space! There were options for space and amenities which created really nice versatility. Stephen and Ben were absolutely wonderful to work with-- they were friendly, reliable, patient, and flexible. We still receive compliments on the amazing bar staff. It is so clear that everyone works hard as a team and partners well with other vendors on all events.

Great experience from beginning to end! Stephen, Linnea, and Ally were all professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job communicating with me and my husband while planning our wedding, and the day of everything was perfect. They were great about communicating with us day of, and even when there were unexpected changes, they took care of it seamlessly. And even aside from the event planners, the venue is awesome, and food was awesome as well. Highly highly highly recommend!

It's only 3 days after our wedding and I still can't get over how wonderful our Strongwater wedding was. The venue itself is so beautiful, and we got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing it was, even from our more "traditional" grandparents! The way the sun set through the windows of the building was so romantic as well. Ally was our contact and she was extremely professional and helpful all throughout the process. She was there whenever we needed her the day of the wedding which ensured that everything ran smoothly. We also received a ton of compliments of the bar staff! They were friendly and fun, and truly knew what they were doing. My groom and I never even had to ask for a drink because they always knew what we wanted. This was the perfect venue for our wedding and we are SO happy we chose it.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with the staff at Strongwater to plan our September 2016 wedding. The space is unique and beautiful, and the staff pulled everything off flawlessly. We held our ceremony outside in the courtyard, then moved inside for cocktail hour and the reception. This was the first venue my husband and I looked at, and we knew immediately that we wanted to get married at Strongwater.

They were great and the space is gorgeous! I have a pretty rowdy group of friends and they took great care of us!

It was a no-brainer for us to have our wedding at Strongwater—it's such a uniquely beautiful industrial venue. We worked with Rusty and he was a true partner throughout the planning process. He was so friendly, organized, and was there literally every time we had a question or needed help. We were able to drop off and lockup our decorations during the rehearsal the day before, which made it extremely efficient for setup the morning of our wedding. We originally planned for an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard, but when the weather had other plans, Rusty and his crew seamlessly transitioned to an indoor ceremony and it was freakin' awesome! (Our guests were actually none-the-wiser). The bar staff was great, and the entire crew helped us with teardown and clean up, which was much appreciated! Strongwater was perfect for our intimate wedding and exceeded our expectations. Thanks Rusty!!
