Studio 220 Photography

Bree was our photographer and she blew our expectations out of the water! She was so friendly, professional, and made our day flow perfectly. We have received so many comments about how great and nice our photographer was from our wedding party and family. Her work quality is so good that when we got our album it was almost impossible to pick out our favorites because we liked so many! I highly highly recommend Bree to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer. Easily the best experience with a photographer to date. Thanks again Bree!

I could not recommend Studio 220 more. I hired Katrina for our engagement and wedding photos. They turned out so amazing, and she captured candid moments as well, which are some of my favorite pictures. Our wedding party is a mixed group of colored hair and tattoos, and we felt so comfortable with Katrina. She was able to highlight our love and appreciation to our friends and family. It meant the world. My husband's uncle, who he was very close to, died unexpectedly very shortly after attending our wedding. Katrina and Dana were quick to provide us with any raw photos of him for a funeral slideshow. It really meant the world to my husband and I that they searched through ALL of the photos looking for him. Studio220 really is above an beyond.

We loved working with Studio 220 for our wedding! Makeen and and assistant, Nicole, did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day! We had done an engagement shoot with Makeen earlier in the fall which was a great way to meet him, get to know him, and made us feel much more at ease on our wedding day. He was very on top of the timeline and both our wedding and family loved working with him too! Even when things out of his and our control went off schedule, he was flexible and made sure we were still able to get the special moments we wanted to capture! In the end, our photos perfectly capture the spirit and joy of the day.

We are still waiting on how the photos turned out, but I must just say: Tamika and the Studio 220 team were amazing! Our biggest priority was finding someone we'd vibe with on our wedding day and add to our experience of the day. Tamika got us out of our shell and was a total pro, her partner (Erin I believe), was very hard working and helpful as well! Our family members were very impressed with Tamika too. We would strongly recommend working with this company based on our experience.

Makeen and Adam were phenomenal! They took beautiful pictures and made us feel very confident and comfortable on our wedding day. We received endless comments from our wedding guests about how lovely the two of them were when they photographed the day. Makeen also did our engagement photo session back in the fall and he was absolutely amazing then too. Studio 220 was very easy to work with, communicative, and one of our favorite vendors!

Every single person that we had the joy of working with at Studio 220 was just the most amazing! Katrina was literally the most fun to work with. She has the best personality and took time to understand our family and how to really capture all of our personalities in our photos. Her assistant, Gabi, was equally as amazing, as was Dana. Tamika was our engagement and wedding photographer and I cannot rave about her and her assistant, Nicole, enough. My husband and I are not big picture takers, and we knew finding a photographer we could trust and be comfortable around was crucial. Tamika made us feel so comfortable and tailored our wedding day perfectly. Our pictures turned out beautifully and I received so much feedback from our guests about how much they LOVED Tamika and Nicole and I couldn't agree more.

Tamika and her assistant were easy to work with and had great ideas for photos. All the photos turned out great and they even edited my fathers tooth back in that got knocked out the day before.

Studio 220 was everything we needed for our wedding. The process was seamless and personal! They helped us to select our photographer based on our wedding style and personalities and she turned out to be the perfect fit. Unlike other options we looked at, the price was extremely affordable with no catches!

Studio 220 went above and beyond for everything. We had Tamika as a photographer for our engagement and wedding photographs. Erin was our second shooter for our wedding. They both did so well. We had a lot of littles on the day of our wedding and knew exactly what to do. I recently got my photographs back and I am in love with all of them. Highly recommend Studio 220

We met Sally at a bridal fair, and she was my favorite photography vendor there. Not only because the photographers at Studio 220 all shoot beautiful pictures but moreso because she took so much time to get to know us and what we were looking for. In about 10 minutes, she learned our style and was able to recommend four photographers with beautiful portfolios. We selected Jen, and she was incredible! We had to reschedule our engagement photos three times because of the weather, and she was so accommodating. She pushed us a little out of our comfort zone to get some beautiful pictures. When we had to postpone our date twice due to COVID, Jen and Dana in the office were so responsive and got us rescheduled easily. Working with Jen was a dream! She is so friendly and gave great direction for all the photos we needed to have taken. Our second shooter Gabi was also so amazing to work with. She complemented Jen so well, and everything went so well! Jen had timelines down so well, and we kept to her timeline perfectly until my ring mishap. I lost my grandmother’s ring during golden hour photos, so we took about 20 minutes to find it. It was in my hair the whole time. She and Gabi stopped photos to help me find it which I appreciated so much. During the ceremony, I knew Jen and Gabi were taking photos, but they did such a great job of blending into the background that I had no idea they were even there! Jen knew exactly which photos I wanted, and she got everything. I’m so excited to see how our photos turn out!

I felt a little bit clueless of how to approach finding a wedding photographer, so I did a lot of research before reaching out to anyone. Studio 220 kept showing due to positive reviews and generally great work. When I finally reached out, they got back very promptly (thanks, Dana!) and we were able to get the ball rolling pretty quickly. I love how there are so many photographers with their own unique style, which made it easier to find the right fit with Katrina. We ended up working with Katrina for both an engagement session and the wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice. She was so warm, personable, and fun! I literally just gave a word-of-mouth recommendation to a friend yesterday.

Studio 220 was a dream to work with. Dana is personable and organized; she answered all of our questions promptly. our photographers were Makeen and Jorge, and they were super chill and fun. I can't wait to see our finished photos. I highly recommend Studio 220 and Makeen.

We absolutely loved working with Studio 220 for our engagement and wedding photos! Dana was amazing in getting everything set up for us and managing things on the backend so that everything ran smoothly! We had Katrina as our lead photographer and we LOVED her! She is so experienced, organized, and just simply amazing at what she does - you can tell she truly enjoys it! She was SO fun to work with and kept us on track with my wedding day timeline - she made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. I cannot recommend her and Studio 220 enough!

We had Katrina for our engagement pictures and as our lead photographer for the wedding day, along with Aaron on the wedding day - they were amazing!! Katrina was very organized from the start and made the process easy and stress free. She knew how to help you relax in front of the lens even if you weren't the most comfortable. Katrina and Aaron were troopers during our hot wedding day - they made it so fun and helped us forget the heat for a couple minutes. Be sure to request them for your big day!!

My husband and I had Tamika as our photographer and hands down best photographer we could have had. She made sure we were on time and wasn’t afraid to put the grooms men in their places when they got a little rowdy. She was positive the whole time and so friendly. She really got to know us and made us feel comfortable while taking photos. Hands down best photographer I have worked with and 1000% recommend her!!

Cannot say enough amazing things about this studio and their photographers!! First of all, Dana (the office/studio manager)... what a professional, communicative, and kind person. She went above and beyond to communicate with us and was very quick to respond to our needs. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and she helped us in navigating all of the changes. On what was supposed to be our wedding day, the studio put together a slide show of our engagement pictures with some sweet words of encouragement and support. This studio cares whole heartedly about their couples. The Photographers (multiple): Engagement: Bree was amazing! Not only was she sweet and kind but captured our love in our fall engagement session. We were unfortunately unable to use her for our actual wedding day as the date we postponed to was already spoken for. BUT the studio took great care of use and offered several replacement photographers for the wedding day. WEDDING: Corinna, wow, another kind sweet soul. She also captured our love perfectly on the day of our wedding. Her assistant (HIGHLY recommend two shooters on your big day, btw) was amazing as well. I feel bad as I don't remember her name, I think it was Nicole. Between the two of them we got many amazing pictures that we will cherish forever. Both of these ladies were extremely easy and flexible all wedding day (as of course we had more bumps on our big day besides COVID). We got our photographs back earlier than the deadline they gave us. Highly recommend this studio as they were responsive, kind, and extremely reasonably priced. Would give 8 starts if I could.

Studio 220 was beyond our expectations. We worked with Katrina and her assistant for our wedding photos. They were there from the beginning to the end. They made sure they took pictures that we wanted and if there were any impromptu pics we wanted they were more than happy to take them. When we seen our photos we were beyond ecstatic. They caught perfect moments during the wedding. Also when looking at the editing, it was top tier. We couldn't be any happier. We would definitely recommend!

I would recommend working with Tamika and Studio 220 over and over again! Studio 220 was far and away the highest quality and most affordable photography studio I could find to photograph our August wedding. Tamika is professional, fun, kind, and extremely talented. My husband and I were nervous about looking awkward in our pictures since we're not used to being professionally photographed, but Tamika was so good at making us feel comfortable and truly capturing our personalities! Studio 220 truly helped make our wedding day special!

We had such a wonderful experience with Studio 220! They did both our engagement session & wedding. Dana, the studio manager was always incredibly responsive to questions and always did it with a cheerful heart. She truly cared about our experience and wanted to make it perfect and stress free. Tamika and Nicole were our wedding day photographers and they did an AMAZING JOB! We opted against a videographer and I do not regret that decision as they so perfectly captured each special moment on that day. If I did it all again, I would choose Studio 220 10 out of 10 times!

Before selecting the studio to do our wedding photography, we were able to view galleries of Studio 220's various photographers' work to determine which specific photographer fit our style. We loved our engagement shoot, and appreciated Murphy's experience to help build our timeline for the day. On our wedding day, the photographers helped ensure that all our requested shots were taken and we love what they captured! We appreciated Studio 220's reasonable prices and quick response times throughout the process. We would highly recommend Studio 220!

When we started researching photographers, we quickly learned that there was a huge range in terms of pricing for this service. Studio 220 provided exactly what we were looking for and was much, much more affordable than a lot of other options of comparable quality. We worked with Sally to book everything which was really easy and then worked with Andrew and Bonita the day of our wedding. Andrew was our main contact and he definitely got our non-traditional approach at our planning meeting about a week before the wedding. He and Bonita were able to deal with our loud, chaotic families and friends. To be honest, they sort of blended into the background so well I forgot they were there once the ceremony started. At the end of the reception, we wanted to get a few pictures with friends that we had forgotten and Andrew stayed a little longer to capture a few more images which we really appreciated. We loved the final photos we received and can't wait to start printing them!

Liam was exactly the type of person we needed in a photographer. My husband and I felt at ease with his confidence leading the photography and getting exactly what we asked for in our shot-list. He was thorough while keeping a level-head as we ran behind schedule. I would highly recommend Studio 220 because they work with what you envision and need in order to capture the most amazing memories. Also, the post-wedding day process was also easy and quick. We got our proofs and final images back in a timely manner and are really satisfied with our experience!

We just finished our engagement session about a week ago with Tamika. She was SO much fun, so professional and really just "got it". She let me bring forth all of my ideas and helped us to make them our own. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience. I've done a few photo sessions in my day and I have never had this much fun. Even my fiance said he had a great time! I can't wait to have her there on our big day!

What an amazing choice for photographer! We selected Studio 222 because they were within our budget, and there’s always that fear that “budget friendly” will mean “poor quality”. Far from. We worked with Lynsey for our engagement and wedding photos, and she was wonderful. She made us feel comfortable, and made it about him and I. If she put us in a pose we weren’t comfortable with, we’d let her know and she would roll with it. She’s kind, she’s talented, and she was a joy to work with. Our photos captured the best pets of us and our day, and I couldn’t be happier with her work. We will absolutely keep her in mind for all future photography needs!

My husband and I had a great experience with Studio 220. We chose Makeen based off of his portfolio and he did such an amazing job with our engagement session and wedding day. We planned our wedding while living in Texas and Makeen was so helpful with phone conversations, answering questions and making sure he new every detail of the wedding day. He was so down to earth and easy to work with. Dana, the studio Manager was also such a delight, she was incredibly helpful and so sweet to chat with. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the wait for sneak peaks, based off of friends' experiences with their photographer I had just assumed sneak peaks would be shared with me just days after the wedding, so I reached out and asked about them the timeline. I was told sneak peaks would be shared 2 1/2 weeks after the day and the full portfolio in 4 weeks. I didn't end up getting any sneak peaks, but I did get the full portfolio at 3 weeks. I was really hoping for just 5 edited photos a couple days after so I could share them on social media. That surely doesn't stop me from recommending them and I would love to work with them again! We have such beautifully photographed memories to look back on thanks to Makeen and the Studio.

Wow! We had a wonderful time working with Aaron for our engagement photos and on our wedding day. His directions are very clear and he knows how to make you smile! I was very pleased with they way he can simply adjust poses to create lovely images. The edited photos were returned so quickly I almost couldn't believe it. We also did our photo booth through Studio 220 and loved the experience. Being able to get the digitals texted and photos printed on hand was great. Also, they are so affordable but you don't lose any quality.

Working with Studio 220 was an easy decision, their website and staff are amazing. We were able to partner with Lynsey as our photographer for engagement photos and our wedding day. She was SUPERB! She was flexible, calm, thoughtful, professional, and above all stellar at what she does. Both times working with her was a dream. My husband isn't super comfortable with being in the spotlight, with Lynsey's directions, she was able to get him comfortable and relaxed to get all the important shots. Dana on the office/logistic side of things was also fantastic to work with. She is very timely with communication and great with follow up questions. All around best photography biz in town!

We had a great experience with Studio 220. My sister also used them for her wedding day. We talked with Sally, the owner before choosing a photographer. She was very helpful! We did do a engagement session, so we could get comfortable in front of the camera and meet our photographer. Jenn, our photographer, was amazing at our engagement session and wedding! I could not have asked for someone better. We also had Bonita as our second shooter. We had just met and she was friendly and funny! Studio 220 was a reasonable price and you get the same product if you paid more. I would recommend Studio 220 to anyone!

We had Bree for our wedding photographer this past summer and I was blown away with the results! She also did our engagement photos last fall that we used for our save the dates. It was easy to plan with her and make adjustments as needed. Being flexible the day of the wedding is really important and she captured everything I could ask for and more!

Studio 220 did our family photo session as well as head shots! They were super impressive with how quickly the shoot went! We had 2 outfit changes with 3 different locations in an hour and a half AND I have 3 boys, so you can imagine what a miracle that timing is! I loved how flexible the photographer was when my 7 year old pitched a fit! She just moved on to photograph the other 2! Our images are THE BEST we’ve ever had! She caught the most beautiful un-posed moments! It’s the REAL us-just prettier! We won’t use anyone else! Studio 220 did a fabulous job! I can’t wait to do our sitting where she’ll even help us figure out where in our house to put the photos along with size! I would never have time to figure that out on my own!

Studio 220 stood out to me based on their pricing alone, which was lower than similar vendors and we received the rights to all of our photos. We chose their photographer, Liam, who has a lot of experience doing weddings. I was thankful for this, as I did not have a wedding planner, and Liam provided a ton of helpful insight. Not only that, he is a native of St. Paul where we had our wedding and he knew the surroundings very well. On our wedding day, Liam treated myself and my husband like royalty and he took control to make sure we received everything we wanted, and more, for pictures of our wedding day. Our guests loved him! They thought he was funny, controlled each group so well, and was very professional. We couldn't be more pleased with the pictures he took for us and for the service provided by Studio 220!

We just received our photos and they are stunning! Our photographer, Kathleen, and her assistant photographer Theresa were wonderful! Kathleen also shot our engagement photos and those were beautiful as well. You will not regret booking Studio 220 - and Kathleen in particular - for your wedding photos!

Lynsey and her co photographer were amazing! I cannot wait to get the pictures back but if they are anything like our engagement shots, they will be wonderful. We liked some of our pictures, though none of them really blew us away which was so disappointing. We requested one specific picture but didn't end up taking it and apparently should have requested a picture of my husband's face as I came down the aisle. With two photographers, we didn't think we would even have to request that - I figured it was a standard for weddings. Many of the pictures were taken from an angle upward which ended up being weirdly unflattering. There are a handful of pictures we do really like, but again.. none of them were what we would consider outstanding - like other family wedding pictures we've seen. Additionally, our main photographer was difficult to get a hold of through email which was frustrating.

I had nothing but a great experience in working with Studio 220 from the very beginning of our planning. The entire team was so easy to work with and always very responsive to my questions. Our photographers were Corinna and Andrew and they made our day so wonderful! They were fun and engaging and really listened to what we were looking for in our wedding photos. Thank you!

Tamika and Kara killed it at my wedding! Always was reachable and were on time which made it less stressful for me. They made sure I got all my shots I wrote down and then some! The photo booth was a hit too!

When selecting a photographer for our wedding we were looking for someone organized, reasonably priced and local. Jen, through studio220 fit the bill. She was exceptionally professional, working with me to nail down details well in advance as well as being engaging and upbeat. Jen and her assistant, Nicolle both worked together efficiently and also worked will with our videographer.

My husband and I could not have found a better photography company to book with! From the first consultation, to our engagement session, to our wedding day and everything in between...Studio 220 Photography was there to help in any way possible! Jen M. was our photographer for both our engagement session and the lead for our wedding day--she's one of the most down to earth, lovable and respectable people we've ever met! She kept in contact with us throughout the entire process, she helped create a timeline, she periodically checked in to see how things were going with planning, and was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. When we first met Jen for our engagement session, we weren't sure what to expect; but from the moment we met her, it felt like we had known her forever! After our engagement session, we knew before we even saw the photos, that we had made the right decision in choosing this company and selecting her as our photographer! Once we saw the photos...we were even more satisfied! On the day of our wedding, she and her assistant Sarah K. showed up early and began working immediately! They had ideas, they had suggestions, they were encouraging and made the day even more memorable than it already was--everyone had so much fun working with the two of them, especially my husband and I! We received so many compliments from friends and family about our photographers, saying how professional they were, how they were everywhere covering everything from the moment they arrived to the time they left, and they made sure that all photos we requested were captured and that everyone was happy before departing for the evening. This will be long, but worth it! Please read! My husband and I dealt with an absolute nightmare when it came to photographers for our wedding. The company we signed previous absolutely lied about how they run the show and they had horrible photos. With less than 1.5 months away from the wedding we had to find a replacement. We had such a low budget due to my husband and I funding the entire wedding. I discovered Studio 220 and fell in love with their photos. I was nervous to email them, knowing I was low on money. Dana heard my story and she and her team worked with Jake and I to give us everything at the price we could afford. I was in tears. Dana deserves 10 stars on her own! She was so quick to responding and she was so dang KIND! I also need to give credit to the owners for caring so much for my husband and I and working with us. LASTLY, my photographer Aaron was everything we dreamed of in a photographer! He was amazing. He was so skilled in photography, knew how to pose us, had so much patience with my big crew, and was such a kind person. Nicole, his assistant was just as wonderful! I caught her taking those candid shots that you would hope someone would capture without you knowing! I cannot say enough about this company. We are so thankful we were able to use Studio 220 for our wedding. They are the reason we will smile when we look back on the photos from our wedding. Thank you Dana, Aaron, Nicole, and the owners! We were very satisfied with our wedding photos through Studio 220! Our photographer, Tamika, was a joy to work with for the wedding. Tamika arrived onsite early and decided on the best places for the first look and group photos. She has a very upbeat personality that made it easy to relax during photos. I love her photojournalistic style and her ability to capture beautiful candid photos. She really captured all of the emotions throughout the day and I am obsessed with our sunset photos!! Her assistant Katrina was good to work with as well, they seemed to have a great rapport which made things run smooth.

The pricing for a photographer can be expensive and usually is a single photographer. Studio 220 has about a dozen photographers to choose from at a reasonable price plus you get a second photographer the day of to help get more candid shots. Our photographer, Jen, and assistant, Nicole, were so fun to work with and very professional. Jen was easy to get in contact with during the planning process and helped us create a timeline that worked to ensure all the pictures we wanted were taken. On the day of, they showed up on time and were ready to go! We even did some photos offsite.

Ladies, I know the task of selecting a wedding photographer is daunting, but look no further! Having Studio 220 shoot our wedding was the best decision we ever made! Our photographer Kathleen went above and beyond on our special day to ensure we got the shots we wanted and kept everyone on schedule and organized! Not only that, but she was a total joy to work with and the images show it! We received our beautiful images just 4 weeks after our wedding and LOVE Them all!

STUDIO 220 IS AMAZING. We had them do our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't be more pleased. Our photographers went above and beyond--collecting info on the photos that we wanted (before the day), showing up early so that they'd be all ready to start shooting on time, making us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We aren't naturally posey people and don't usually photograph too well but I'm in love with our pictures. Can't say enough good things about them, especially for the price, which is very reasonable compared to others in the area.

Katie & Katrina were amazing! Katie was great with our little ring bearer, so we got the most beautiful shots of our whole family! We were very happy with Studio 220 for our wedding photos. It is a group of photographers that report up through the same studio; so they have an office manager that helps with payment and picture ordering stuff. Another perk is that if someone is sick, they have a guaranteed backup photographer available just in case. We worked with Makeen and Mike for our wedding and they did a wonderful job. The pictures turned out great. We did an engagement session with Makeen prior to the wedding (highly recommend doing this even if just to feel comfortable with your photographer) and got some wonderful pictures from that too. We were even able to bring our dogs to the park so they could be a in a few shots too. I think the hard part now, will be choosing the pictures to put into our wedding album. There are so many good ones to choose from.

We did our engagement and wedding pictures with Studio 220 and they were amazing! Tamika did a fantastic job with our engagement pictures - we suggested taking them at the Stone Arch bridge and then we went to many other nearby places that Tamika knew in just our short 1-hour session - she helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera and found some amazing backdrops. Tamika and Sarah did our wedding and we are in love with the pictures! They were so awesome to work with and made us, our family and wedding party so comfortable. They also had some fun ideas the group photos that turned out so cute :) I would strongly recommend Studio 220!!!

Kathleen and her assistant were fantastic and oh so patient. Setting up groups for pictures is never easy and they both handled it amazingly. Although there was a delay, they never appeared to be frustrated and worked with what they had at each step. They made everyone comfortable and from what I have been told went around to different groups and took tons of photos. I cannot wait for the results. Our engagement photos were wonderful and she really captured our relationship so I am sure our wedding photos will be the same.

We loved working with Studio 220, especially our photographer Tamika! She captured our personalities and our joy so perfectly! It was so easy to schedule with them and our wedding pictures were ready in less than four weeks!

We worked with Lynsey from Studio 220 for both our engagement and wedding photos. She was an absolute gem to work with and was able to bring her expertise while entertaining our photo ideas. The engagement session was a lot of fun and we were so pleased with the pictures. Lynsey was responsive throughout the process, especially as we finalized the wedding day logistics together. Our wedding party and families enjoyed Lynsey's presence as well. Her assistant Andrew was also very sweet. They made some last minute adjustments to get a few additional family photos that were not initially planned which was greatly appreciated. The overall process with Studio 220 was seamless and such a great value. We can't wait to see all the wedding day photos in a few weeks!

From beginning to end we really enjoyed working with our photographer. Alex takes breathtaking pictures and he did an amazing job capturing what we were looking for in both our engagement and wedding photos. Everything about using Studio 220 was easy. I would recommend using this company to help cherish the best moments of your big day!

I was absolutely devastated when I got my photos back from our wedding. Our photographer had done a horrible job adding variety to the poses and getting us all to look "natural" and have fun instead of stuffy. We also couldn't use any (not over exaggerating) of the family photos that they took because the placement of family members was so awkward and the photos just looked so rushed and unatural. I burst into tears after looking through them because we had paid so much money and very few photos turned out (we are talking less than 8 of the 500+ that they took prior to reception). I dont recommend this studio and especially do not recommend working with Lynsey.

We just received our photos from Studio 220 and absolutely love them! Aaron and Murphy were our photographers, they did an amazing job of capturing all of the sentiment around our wedding. They had some great ideas for our pictures as a couple and were really invisible as they worked their magic throughout the night. We live in California and Dana was so easy to work with as we coordinated everything remotely. We had a great experience with Studio 220 and highly recommend working with them for your wedding pics!

She did an amazing job of communicating with us prior to the wedding and the way she captured the events of our big day was outstanding. Katie with Studio 220 did a great job shooting our wedding! You could tell she was in her element. We only wish we had had more time to capture more photos and not be rushed. We are excited to see our final wedding gallery of photos!

Allie was amazing the day of the wedding. We absolutely love our photos. Neither one of us naturals in front of the camera, but with direction and Allie's reassurance they turned out great. She captured every moment of the day so well.

WOW! Absolutely stunning photos! We had the privilege of having Emily as our main photographer and Tyler as our second photographer for our wedding on 10-7-17. The photos we received back are simply breathtaking! They both did such a fantastic job getting everything captured and I love the way they were able to add their own creativity into the shots! Great experience and value!

We were amazed at how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. We didn't realize we were so good looking! Ours was a small event - just 20 people in attendance at W.A. Frost Restaurant for a 3.5 hour midday ceremony and reception booked only a month in advance. After some unsuccessful web queries to other photographers, I was starting to worry I wouldn't be able to find anyone available on such short notice and because many seemed to require a longer minimum time commitment. I found Studio 220 on The Knot and was impressed with their online portfolio. Not only were they able to accommodate us, they offered us a choice of three photographers and at a very reasonable price due to the small scale of the event. Katie and her assistant did a fabulous job keeping things fun during the photo sessions, getting all the shots we requested and being unobtrusive during the ceremony. They even took portraits of all our guests. We got access to the photos quickly and they were really stunning. I'm not planning to get married again any time soon, but if I did I would certainly use Studio 220 Photography.

We had a great experience with Studio 220 and our photographer, Bree! Both our engagement and wedding photos were more than we could've hoped for. Bree made sure we got some awesome shots, even on our rainy wedding day. Highly recommend!!

Love this studio!! All of my photos from my engagement and wedding were amazing!! I received so many compliments on how gorgeous they were! My photographer Bre was so amazing! She made sure we went over every picture we wanted, but was so creative with all of her photos!

We just got our wedding photos back from our August wedding and they are absolutely perfect! Aaron and his assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with. He had a great sense of humor but still made sure to keep our group moving thru all the pictures and staying on time for the different events of the day which really came in handy for our group! The communication from booking the photographer to discussing the timeline and specific photos I wanted was absolutely seamless. I could not recommend them more!

Lynsey and Murphy were awesome-such fun people! They were so easy to work with and flexible to adjusting our timeline when the weather made us make a quick change of plans. The pictures turned out great!

We had a great experience with Makeen! We would give him 5 stars! He was down to earth and willing to accommodate some silliness. At the same time, he did a good job of making sure we took the traditional engagement and ceremony photos that our family/friends would want to see. He also drove quiet a distance to our engagement shoot location. While Makeen was fantastic, I felt like Studio 220 had a lot of bureaucracy in place (expected I suppose when you are a such a large company). They were very strict in terms of rules/protocol and seemed to charge extra for every little thing. Being such a large company they also have a great website and online payment system. That said, again, Makeen was fantastic. The photobooth ladies were very nice, but the booth itself malfunctioned early in the night and did not print any photos. Our guests were VERY disappointed.

I was as nervous as a bride could be about choosing the right photographer. I met with SEVERAL, and it ended up coming down to our budget- studio 220 was the best value. LAURA was fantastic. We just got our photos back and of course we were married on the day where it poured nonstop all.day.long. Laura was still able to capture stunning outdoor shots which is what I really had my heart set on. I can tell you she didn't have much to work with given the weather and our lousy job at decorating our venue, but our photos were far better than I had imagined- brought tears to my eyes viewing them for the first time...and the second...and the third. Thanks Laura and Studio 220.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Studio 220. We selected Studio 220 because one of the photographers, Tamika, came highly recommended from a friend of my husband's. Both my husband and I are from Minnesota but we live out of state and Tamika made it easy to work with her from a distance. We set up a timeline for the wedding day and Tamika gave us her recommendations of what she thought would work well, which was great for us because we needed a little structure. and we were looking for her expertise. We then spoke the week of the wedding to go over final details. With the wedding being in the beginning of June the weather was looking to be unfavorable with rain but Tamika was very reassuring that we would get great photos whether indoors or outdoors. She took a look at the venue before we started shooting so she had an idea of the lighting and what was going to work well. Tamika was great at working with our wedding party and family to get all of the photos we were looking to have and great at providing direction. We also filled out an online questionnaire to confirm the photos we were looking to achieve before the day was over. Tamika also had another photographer, Sarah, with her who was also enjoyable to work with. We cant wait to see our photos in a few short weeks. Thanks for everything Tamika, Sarah and Studio 220 for helping making our wedding day unforgettable!

An affordable price with impeccable work. We had Tamika shoot our day, and she was the perfect mix of fun and professional. She made sure we had every shot we wanted, listened when we had last minute ideas, and always pulled us aside for the perfect photo. We couldn't be happier with our photos or our experience on the day. I can't recommend them enough!

As someone who was planning a wedding from out of town (but had previously lived in Minneapolis), Studio 220 made it super easy to plan everything from start to finish. The studio manager (Cheryl) was great at talking me through the general process when I first called to learn about the studio. She then sent me awesome portfolios to look through to select our photographer for a short-notice engagement session. Long story short...Joan is AMAZING and I'm quite sure is possibly a magician! We had our engagement photos on seriously the coldest day in Minneapolis in January - she was quick, friendly, and put up with us while it was snowy and windy. What's more amazing is that she somehow managed to make it look like we weren't completely freezing our butts off! I had no doubt that our wedding photos would look incredible after that feat and after just seeing some sneaks - I am not disappointed in the least! She and Murphy (2nd photographer on the day off) put everyone at ease and allowed us to have fun with the photos; she even put up with some of my crazy ideas on the spot. I 100% recommend Studio 220 for anyone in Minneapolis looking for a photographer. I have no doubt that each and every photographer on staff is just as amazing as Joan!

From the first consultation to meeting our photographer Joan (who is AMAZING by the way) the whole process was easy and stress free!!!! I was so impressed with Studio 220 I actually recommended them to my sister who is getting married this Summer!

Studio 220 has been great! From our first meeting to settling up the final invoice, everyone has been so friendly and helpful. We LOVED Tamika! She was so fun and outgoing and had some great ideas and suggestions for shots. She created a timeline that kept us on track but not hurried/rushed. My husband is very traditional and last minute decided he wanted a receiving line at the church so we could greet each guest before the dinner. The church did not want us to do this since they thought it would take too much time and we wouldn't be out of there before the evening mass. I wanted to do the line as well but didn't want to eat up the time to do other family/wedding party photos that we had scheduled. She assured everyone we'd be able to get it done in time which we did (with time to spare). My husband also is not a fan of having his photo taken. Tamika understood this and did a great job balancing what I wanted out of photos and not pushing it with him. You're wedding day will always be the best and so much fun but it made such a difference having a talented photographer with a great personality along side us for the day.

We planned our wedding on relatively short notice and were happy to get Makeen from Studio 220 confirmed for our wedding. He was just a pleasure to work with and we appreciated the time he took with us prior to the wedding to talk through details. He and his assistant Sarah were a lot of fun to work with and were creative on the shot list too. We appreciated the help from Allie in the Studio 220 office to help us get this booked. We thought the price point was reasonable and a good value to have 2 high quality photographers with us all day and into the evening, we highly recommend Studio 220!

Our photographer was Lynsey and she was so great! We just got all our photos back and they're beautiful. She's great with kids too! My little 1 year old cousin was a bit crabby the day of the wedding and even more cranky when my husband was holding him for pictures, but you'd never know that because Lynsey was so great and making him smile and capturing the .002 seconds that he was smiling. She was really great at going with the flow, we didn't do a first look so our time between the ceremony and reception was tight but she made it work. She had us write a shot list of photos (with great suggestions as to what traditional photos are taken) and we got every one we wanted and then some beautiful ones we weren't expecting. Friendly and professional!

We worked with Emily at Studio 220 for both our engagement and wedding photos. She was absolutely wonderful. Attentive, laid back, calm, and professional are just a few ways to describe our experience. She did incredible work and we are so happy that we went with Studio 220. Working with Allie for all of the administrative needs was easy as well. She made things simple, always answered our questions in timely manner, and was incredibly nice. We also were so glad we went with Studio 220's photobooth. It was a big hit with our guest and we were provided with an excellent selection of props. Having duplicate copies of each photo strip printed at the wedding was really handy, and getting all of the digital copies later let us see (and order) the really funny photos.

Lynsey from Studio 220 was great to work with. She and her assistant took great photos and were really easy to work with. My only issue was I provided a list of pictures I wanted to get and in the hustle and bustle of our busy day we didn't get two of the photos on the list. I received the photos fully edited three weeks after the big day and was really impressed with how many there were and the quality of work. I would definitely recommend them!

Tamika was our main photographer and McKeen (not sure on the spelling!) was her assistant. The pictures were AMAZING. Tamika did such a good job on our engagement photos and the wedding pictures are even better. I fall in love with that day all over again every time I flip through the pictures. Both were so easy to work with, did an amazing job at catching candid moments, and were so good at keeping in touch for our timeline. We got our pictures back (digital rights, I believe) in about 3 weeks (even though it felt like years! :) )I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
