With the last name Veil I like to say that I was born to work in weddings :) I love what we do at Studio Veil and I'm blessed to be surrounded by amazing and talented people who love weddings as much as I do. I love my family; Allie & I married in 2010 and we welcomed Savannah Joy into our family Jan 2017 and I love being a dad! I'm passionate about my faith and am involved in a couple of our church's ministries as well as Spoke Folk (a bicycle, musical, relational ministry geared towards HS students). I also love wood-working, guitar, watching/playing sports, bowling, and ice cream.

Apart from time in college, Allie has lived in Minnesota all of her life. She met Ryan in 2007 and continues to show her love of design and beauty.

I’ve been to weddings where the DJ has no idea how to read the crowd and nobody ends up dancing — that was NOT the case here. He did such a good job reading the room and keeping the party going all night. The owner, Ryan, went out of his way to ensure that our video/sound was perfect for our ceremony. We had a very unique scenario where our officiant was live streamed to our event. Without Ryan and the crew at Studio Veil, this would not have been possible. I am so happy we went with Studio Veil for all of our services and HIGHLY recommend them to any future couples.

Our guests thoroughly enjoyed having the photo strips as a little wedding memento, and we had a blast looking through the digital prints and souvenir book the morning after our wedding (it is seriously a riot to see your guests in their purest/weirdest element). Huge shout out to Dan from Studio Veil for being a gem to work with! He handles drunk, elderly, and just plain quirky guests all in stride, and we had several people say how nice/helpful he was. I have already recommended Studio Veil to a friend for her September wedding, and will continue to do so! They were fantastic.

very responsive to communication. Several weeks prior to the ceremony, we filled out an online survey that gave insight to the event and our personal tastes in music. From this list, I had a follow up call with Holly from the office that was extremely helpful and alleviated a lot of my nerves. On the day of, our DJ Dan showed up right on time. The ceremony sound, wedding party entrance, formal dances, and reception dance went off without issue. He did a great job playing our "must play" list, avoiding the "do not play" list, and using our tastes to pick songs to play while accommodating our guests requests. Literally everyone was on the dance floor from 9pm to midnight when the last song played. The next morning out our breakfast, so many extended family members on both sides commented to me on how fun of an evening it had been and that they hadn't been to a wedding where people danced the entire time as at ours. Thank you Dan and Holly for your great work!
