We loved our full service planner leading up to the wedding but were given a bait and switch about a month prior. Sarah took care of everything prior to our wedding day but we’re assuming decided to cover another wedding instead of ours. So, on the day of our wedding, we were provided 2 brand new wedding planners who did not sufficiently manage our wedding day and made the occasion incredibly stressful for us both. I truly wish we received what we paid for, but our day-of service was incredibly lacking. Our day was incredible at the end of the day, but this inadequate level of service is the one thing we regret.

Alyssa and the S&B team were absolutely INCREDIBLE! From helping us source our venue and other vendors to securing discounts and everything in between, I am consistently reminded as to why hiring S&B was the best decision I could've made for my wedding. I barely even had to communicate directly with any vendors, so I was able to fully enjoy the wedding planning process. Both my husband and I were absolutely blown away on our actual wedding day when we saw how amazing everything had come together - this is a true testament to Alyssa's hard work and dedication to her clients. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, this is your sign to hire one, and make it S&B.

AMAZING!!! Everything was perfect! Sara and the whole S & B team were outstanding and made everything possible and made our dream wedding come to life!! We could not have asked for a better wedding planner! Sara listened to everything we said and more! The whole S & B team went above and beyond!

We paid for month of planning. They were supposed to handle communication with all vendors and everything weekend of wedding. They never called bakery so they didn’t realize the cake order had been written for wrong month. We showed up to the reception and had no cake. We needed a safety pin and help with zipper as we were getting ready for ceremony. She stated “all that stuff is at the reception hall”. Why?! We don’t need them after wedding. They missed announcing the bride and groom entering the venue. They packed up our stuff after reception and somehow almost all cards disappeared. We only found two. Would not recommend this company. Planning and service were not worth the $ paid and stress free was definitely not the end result. It was one disappointment after another. We would have been better off doing this on our own. I would suggest looking elsewhere if your venue requires a planner.

Stunning and Brilliant has made our day the best it could have ever been and would not have been perfect without them. Our family and friends were able ro relax and have a great time while Stunning and Brilliant took over and made it perfect for everyone also helped the vendors ro make it a Stunning and Brilliant day. They even came down ro the beach and held my veil for our sunset pictures, so it was nice not bothering family and friends and asking them to do this or do that. They were in the reception have a great time while we were getting our pictures done during sunset. Thank you for making the wedding I dreamed of while playing with barbie come true. We arrived forever grateful.

S & B Events did an amazing job. The team was so wonderful and really made our day run smoothly. The timeline they created kept everything running smoothly, even readjusting timing to make sure we were able to do our additional photos at sunset. I did a lot of DIY on decor, and S&B did an amazing job making sure all our personal items were set up and retrieved at the end of the night. Their team was so professional and organized, it allowed us to really relax, and I'm so thankful for Stunning & Brilliant Events for making our day as stress free as possible.

Everyone at S & B events was amazing! From the very beginning of working with them I felt the stress leave my body. Planning a wedding is tough and I was so worried about coordination on the day of. Once we spoke with Sarah at S & B about what I wanted, I felt so much better. Her and her team handled all coordination the day of and even made sure to make my husband and I plates for after the ceremony. They thought of everything. And everything I wanted was done and it was done perfectly. They truly made the day stress free!! I would recommend them for anybody planning an event whether it’s a wedding, party, or work event.

Karen, Payton, and the rest of the S&B team were incredible from start to finish! Everything on our wedding day went unbelievably smoothly and if anything did go wrong it never made it to us because Karen handled it. From the start of the process until the very end Karen and S&B were over the top helpful. We could never in a million years have coordinated the wedding the way they did. They were perfect in every aspect from vendor selection, to on the fly adjustments for rain, to making sure we ate and always had champagne available/in our hands. This was truly the best day in our lives and we give S&B a massive chunk of the credit for that.

S&B is amazing. They were coordinators for a friend of ours a few years ago and knew once I got engaged we needed to use them as well. We opted for the "Month Of" Package and worked with Alyssa prior to the wedding, she answered every single of of my questions and probably too many emails! About 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding we started working with Ashley who took over everything for us. She took off so much stress in those last few weeks and handled everything incredibly. Her and her team worked so hard on the wedding day to make sure everything was perfect. I could not have done this without them!!

I can't say enough great things about Sara, Dallas, Caroline and & the team at Stunning & Brilliant Events. From the second that I spoke with Sara McCall when I called to inquire about a wedding planner, she was so funny and personable. I immediately felt comfortable talking to her, and she also called me back within seconds (whereas other planners that I called took hours to call me back). After I booked Sara as my planner, when people or vendors would ask who my planner was, they would say "Omg, Sara and her team are the best. You're in great hands!" Based on the extremely positive feedback from so many people/vendors, I knew that I made the right decision hiring them. Dallas was my month-of planner, and she was truly spectacular. She always had a smile on her face and had a fun spirit about her. She was ON IT, and she took so much off of my plate. She communicated with all off my vendors which made me feel much less stressed throughout the last couple of weeks leading up to my wedding. On the weekend of the wedding, she was so organized and prepared. The rehearsal went great and was quick which was nice. On our wedding day, she and her team came to check in on me and my bridesmaids several times as well as my husband and his groomsmen. They literally fixed my mom's hem in her dress. They had drinks for us as soon as we got married and throughout the entire night. I don't think I ever went to the bar lol. They also got appetizers for us and had our dinner waiting at our table as soon as the food came out. They literally do EVERYTHING, and it was so nice to not have to think about anything on our big day! Dallas, Caroline and their team were fun and everyone in my family LOVED them. My guests could not stop talking about how great and organized they were. Needless to say, they were a HIT. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding. Hiring them was the best decision that I made. This was the best decision I ever made hiring Stunning & Brilliant Events! My husband and I are from NY and needed help planning a Charleston Wedding. Alyssa, Ashley and the rest of the team could not have been anymore helpful! They helped us with hotel room blocks, recommendations, timelines, contacting our vendors, and more! Karen and her team were absolute angels- it became the joke of the evening to "just ask Karen" if she had something (and she always did!) Karen and the team were professional, polite, and friendly. I highly recommend this company, particularly Sarah Turpin for wedding planning for the Hilton Head SC area. Sarah is extremely friendly and organized. I hired her for day of wedding planning but she was involved beginning about 6 weeks prior to the wedding. She was very easy to get in touch with leading up to wedding and also easily accessible the whole wedding day. On my wedding day, there was a hiccup with meal assignments for dinner and she handled the issue with ease while also continuing her other responsibilities. If you’re debating on whether a wedding planner is necessary, it is! And if you’re considering this company as an option, I highly recommend.

Jacque from FL S&B helped plan and execute our dream wedding in the Bahamas. We wanted a formal/black tie optional with a beach ceremony and we got that and SO much more. I used S&B for my wedding in November and it was the best thing I could of done. Sarah was my wedding planner and she made all my ideas come to life. I don’t even know where to start in writing this review. I was familiar with stunning and brilliant events because they had planned my sisters wedding last year and after meeting Sara and seeing her work, I knew I wanted to work with her for my own wedding and I am so happy I did. Sara was amazing to work with. Planning a wedding after moving and starting a new job is not ideal but Sara was there with me every step of the way. She is incredibly organized and calm. I gave her three words and showed her a few photos as inspiration and she created the wedding of my dreams. Throughout the planning process she kept me on track and always made sure I had everything I needed. The day of our ceremony her and her team were so calming and made sure we felt no stress that day. An unexpected rain storm (for an outdoor ceremony) still did not cause chaos. Sara and her team came up with options and everything worked out perfectly. They are with you through every step of the way and made our planning process fun and exciting. I would use stunning and brilliant ten times over thank you again for everything !

I was expecting so much more than the service we ended up receiving.. Spent months discussing the way things would be planned and set up, and not only were things not even set up as discussed, all of our items were just thrown into a room (not one thing was put back the way it came and the way we brought it in), items were broken, and I’m still missing 4 items (two of them being large vases that you can’t miss). My planner who I was told would bustle my dress didn’t even know how to and my dress was hanging down awkwardly the entire night. She didn’t even come to me to do it, I had to find my mom and my mom had to find her, then she had to bring me into another room so she could bustle it and it ended up taking 20-30 minutes, yet it wasn’t even done correctly. The list goes on, but I’m not here to bash anyone however, I was and I still am SO disappointed in how my wedding day was handled. Our planner didn’t even have our rings, and the main owners of the company still have yet to fully reach out to discuss our concerns or to make it a priority. I just don’t want what happened on my wedding day to happen on anyone else’s wedding day. You may see all the wonderful, great reviews and pictures, but I would definitely take this into consideration because it’s NOTHING at all what I expected and to think the amount of money I paid.. unbelievable!

Sarah and her staff were amazing. We hired them to plan my daughter's bachelorette weekend in Hilton Head and they thought of everything. All I had to do was show up and enjoy. They are the best and thought of everything.

If you want an amazing wedding, please hire them. My coordinator, Alyssa Etheredge was kind, personable and so much fun. She was a true joy to work with and her energy is infectious. She made my dreams come to life. I got married at Boone Hall Plantation in May and she coordinated everything to my exact vision. She offered practical solutions and was EXCELLENT in a pinch. I live across the country and she worked around my travel schedule to meet me in person, accommodated my family emergencies, and inclement weather with a smiley She problem solved and was always there when I needed her. She hit the nail on the head with suggestions from dinner to floral arrangements and made sure to accommodate my celiac disease. She didn’t miss a beat. She’s truly talented at what she does, and I felt relaxed knowing she was my wedding planner. Stunning &Brilliant events is ABSOLUTELY the way to go.

We were planning a wedding from over 500 miles away. As a result, we chose the full package with Stunning and Brilliant. Best. Decision. Ever! Karen was our wedding planner. It’ll be the best purchase for your wedding day. Alyssa Gore was able to customize my package. Initially, I was searching for a day of coordinator, but I upgraded to the month of coordination, and Alyssa was able to work within my budget. She is so easy to talk to and communication with her went smoothly. She set me up to work with Ally Shuford. Now Ally and her team did an amazing job! She let me be hands on when I wanted to be and she took so much stress off my shoulders. She listened to my every need and it reflected on my wedding day. When we walked through the venue, she took thorough notes, asked questions for clarification. She wanted to get everything right. She had a few layouts for the venue and even changed the layout when I asked her to put the dj near the dance floor. On the day of the wedding, Ally and her team came out and set everything up beautifully. The timeline of events went smoothly, and I was able to enjoy myself without worry. Towards the end of the night, my husband and I were getting tired and wanted to end the wedding 30 minutes early. I communicated that to Ally and her team were able to adjust and began the send off when we were ready. I loved every bit of my wedding day and Stunning and Brilliant events helped take most of the stress off my shoulders. Please hire them, the value is great, and the team is helpful and professional. My wedding was 6-7 months ago, and I still rave to my friends about how great Alyssa, Ally, and the team were.

10/10 on service, execution, planning, everything. I used S&B as a partial planner, having picked out most of my vendors on my own. They were so helpful and gave insight on things that you don’t even think about for your wedding day. These girls were exceptional at keeping everyone in line, making sure vendors were up to speed on changes, and making sure everything was flawless. We had literally NO hiccups on our wedding day! Could not recommend Sara and her team more. Even if you just need a day-of coordinator and want to plan everything by yourself - hire them!

Phenomenal Team! Although we booked S&B Events for month-of coordination, Sarah was able to provide guidance and where to start with booking vendors and what kind of things we would need. Her communication was always prompt and thorough and she was cheerful and very pleasant to work with. From the initial consultation, we knew she was it. Day of the wedding, we had Ashley and she was a gem. Her and Trent went above and beyond their duties to make sure everything was great. 10/10 Would definitely recommend.

For having a wedding planner my wedding felt disorganized and rushed. Not sure if it was my specific planner or the business in general. For one, my veil got caught while walking down the the aisle and I was left standing there wondering what do to.. it took a while for the planner to come fix it and it kind of killed the moment. I understand it happens but sheesh. We had some vendor issues with our cake (it came melted/falling apart) instead of informing my emergency contact (MOH) to figure out something.. we were left with the damaged cake to my husband and I’s surprise at cake cutting. I don’t blame them for the damaged cake, I blame them for the way the situation was handled :( also our cake topper did not make it on to the cake after I physically handed the topper to our planner the morning of. Overall wouldn’t recommend. Some other small issues like not guiding guests in the right direction during wedding/reception, my flower girl not having a clue what to do, and having a flustered demeanor the entire event. The feeling made my guests and wedding party stressed. For the price you pay we shouldn't have had these issues. After speaking with the vendor post wedding I was told that "I should be grateful for my wedding" which was really rude.. company should take more responsibility and handle criticism better. Company gives out gift cards for 5 star only reviews. Bad customer service.

I don't even know to to put into words how incredible Sara McCall from Stunning and Brilliant events is, she is the reason our wedding went off without a hitch and she literally made all of our dreams come true for our Oct 2021 wedding at Debordieu. I contacted Sara to help with planning our destination SC wedding in March of 2020, she immediately responded to me and helped to secure us our dream venue in Debordieu. My husband and I were sold on her attention to detail, professionalism, and vast network of vendors she had made available to us. Karen Long at Stunning & Brilliant was incredible and exactly what I needed for my intimate wedding. She took care of all the loose ends so I could be stress free the day of my big day. She even texted me first thing in the morning to tell me how beautiful it was going to be and took time out of her schedule to take her own photos of our ceremony and reception and sent them to me. They were wonderful to receive the day of the wedding so we could post them on social media. She made my wedding Stunning and Brilliant. It was well worth the price. Invaluable!

Sara McCall and her team did an amazing job planning, coordinating and executing a perfect wedding day for my husband and I! We could not be more grateful to have been able to work with such an incredible team! We engaged S&B Events for partial planning services - up to 80hrs plus day-of services. However, what we received felt like a full time commitment to planning the wedding of our dreams! Living in California planning a wedding in South Carolina was challenging for my husband and I; but once we engaged S&B Events, Sara did an a wonderful job of keeping us on track and coordinating with all of our vendors. She helped with major items - such as coordinating with the Church wedding director, working with the catering contact at the venue, securing our marriage license and arranging rentals, including linens and seat cushions. She went above and beyond to assist with smaller tasks as well - such as picking up the groom’s suit from dry cleaning, picking up special cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions and filling out checks for day-of payments to other vendors!! She truly thought of everything and we will forever be grateful for her patience and organization skills. We highly recommend S&B events for any of your future event planning needs!!

Sara, Hannah, and Michelle were the absolute dream team. I promise you that I am a perfectionist and they were PERFECT. They made all of my pinterest wedding dreams come to life and were so wonderful to work with from even before we had hired them! Myrtle Beach, SC was a destination wedding for my husband and I, so having them on location and knowing the best vendors to work with took so much pressure off of us. I had a 6ft mirror seating chart and champagne wall dream that Sara made look effortless! Hannah was my go to girl all night from getting the DJ to play our "must play" songs to grabbing me a much needed water during pictures. Hannah even controlled the weather to give us only 1:00 minute of rain during the day (just kidding! please don't expect them to control the weather!). And Michelle was fixing problems before they even happened, like knowing my bustle was going to break before I even put my dress on! Seriously, they are amazing. I'm going to hold all of my future events in Myrtle Beach (or one of their other awesome locations) because they made it such a breeze. If you want to truly enjoy your wedding day and worry about nothing but getting married, then hire Stunning & Brilliant!
