1/2 of what I had expected it to cost. Mandy found out via my husband that peony’s are my favorite flower. With a late summer wedding, I always assumed peony’s were not an option (in my budget). Much to my surprise on my wedding day there were 3 beautiful peony’s in my bouquet. Mandy is like a best friend, her attitude and presence are contagious and I would hire her 1000 times over again. She fit within the budget constraints that we had and made some of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! We had a book-themed centerpiece with old books that were important to us, and Heidi worked the flowers into our book theme providing a small flower arrangement for each table. Pretty much the only requests were the colors and to keep it to a wildflower type look, I left the rest up to her. She put together beautiful arrangements (I don't know much about flowers honestly so having her artistic input was great) and she even picked out the flowers for my hair and for the cake. They also delivered everything to the site (which was in local in Boulder) and made sure everyone had their flowers, arrangements were set in the right places, helped the guys put on their flowers, etc. for a very small fee. bouquet without flowers, so that he wouldn't spend the whole day miserable. I still wanted everything to be colorful, and also go with our rustic, western themed wedding. We provided shotgun shell boutonniere holders and some pheasant feathers and antlers that were left over from the centerpieces that we made. They did a great job incorporating those elements, but how they really shined was their creative use of non-allergy-inducing elements. The bouquets included cabbage, hot peppers, fall berries, pincushion protea, grasses, orchids, succulents fiddle-head ferns and coxcomb. The boutonnieres had similar elements, and my husband's even had an air plant. They were beyond amazing! We were completely blown away - they went above and beyond my wildest dreams. It sounds dramatic, but we were completely ecstatic with their work and highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for something unique and beyond basic. They'll be our go-to florist from now on!

She delivered the flowers to our venue and handed out bouquets, pinned boutineers, and set up all the centerpieces, ceremony decor, and cake flowers. Everything looked beautiful! She let us hold on to the vases for two weeks so we could enjoy the flowers for longer and not stress about getting them back in. Some of the flowers lasted the whole two weeks! I was very happy with our flowers.

My suggestion for future brides is to make sure your florist fully knows what you'd like, and to possibly see the flowers the day before the wedding.

Part of the reason I came to them was because I wanted potted flowers for my table center pieces, something people could take home and plant, they were able to get the plants, pot them, and them store them in a fridge so the blooms would still be around on the day of my wedding.
They really went above and beyond.
Walking into Sturtz and Copeland is like entering an indoor rainforest. There is so much variety of plant life, I just wanted to wander around for a while before I could begin to think about what I would want for wedding flowers.

have grown (like orchids). They also allowed us to rent the orchid plants for our centerpieces, saving us hundreds of dollars. Almost everything in their store can be rented, so don't be afraid to ask them about it (just be reasonable, they're obviously not going to rent out cut flowers, etc).
