Although we didn't have to postpone our wedding due to COVID, there were many related considerations to navigate throughout the 1.5 year-long planning process, and I greatly appreciated Rachelle's frankness, level-headed attitude and communication throughout. She did a great job tracking and sticking to our budget, and advising us on where we could save money and where it would be best to spend a little more. We were extremely happy with all of the vendors she recommended to us, and she did a great job of tying in the vibe/design of the wedding among the vendors. Creativity and design is not my strong suit, but I knew I wanted a colorful wedding. I really appreciated Rachelle's ideas and gentle nudges when I was having a hard time making the design-related decisions related to linens, florals and even bridesmaid dress colors. I couldn't believe how perfect our fully decorated venue looked when I first stepped into it the day of our wedding. Rachelle also did a great job with timeline suggestions, including breaking up the speeches and doing some dancing before dinner to get the party started! I live in NYC, which already made planning the wedding in Minneapolis a challenge, but Rachelle was so helpful from the very first meeting. Yet, at the same time, she was very considerate toward our desires and preferences, and we always felt like she was helping us organize our dream wedding. Our wedding was scheduled to occur in May 2020-and then COVID-19 pandemic hit. Rachelle was the first vendor to reach out to us and guided us toward contacting our venue to try and move the wedding to a later date. I cannot emphasize how helpful this was as our venue was able to move our wedding to early September, and all of our vendors were subsequently able to move to the new date as well. Without Rachelle's guidance, we probably would have waited too long and who knows if we even would have been able to get married this year. In the days leading up to the wedding, Rachelle helped us plan and organize all aspects of the actual wedding day, including many details that we never would have thought of, and she also contacted all of our vendors to confirm final details and preparation. The day of our wedding, Rachelle and Ally were outstanding and took what was already going to be a challenging and stressful day and helped turn it into the perfect day. My favorite moment with Rachelle was right before I was about to walk down the aisle, I was getting conflicting advice from my sisters about whether I should sit or stand while my husband gave the welcoming remarks to our guests. This immediately started to stress me out. Rachelle overheard the conversation, and right before I was about to walk down the aisle, she calmly walked over to me and said, "Don't listen to your sister, listen to me. She's personable and great to talk to, but from a wedding planner standpoint she is EXTREMELY organized - I did not realize that day-of timelines were scheduled down to the minute, but boy did we appreciate it when the big day came around! When we first met with Rachelle she was much more reserved and less "bubbly" than some of the other planners we met with. She didn't talk about her big ideas for the wedding, but rather listened to what we wanted. I left the meeting a little unsure, because other planners had been so upbeat and had started talking about really fun "what if we did ___ amazing thing, or that amazing thing." My wife, though, knew better. She reminded me that Rachelle didn't want to give away all of her incredible ideas. My wife, as usual, was right. Rachelle kept things close to the vest because her secret sauce is second-to-none. One of the best things about Rachelle - beyond her incredible network of vendors - is her background in the corporate world. The organizational skills and attention to detail really shone through in her preparation for meetings and the big day. She did a great job keeping our budget in mind, helping us understand how X tradeoff would impact Y budget. Our budget was split between two different families and had lots of moving pieces - she managed the communication flawlessly and kept both budgets up to date. Last but not least, Rachelle actually worked our wedding herself...on her own birthday! She never said a word while we were picking the date and did not even entertain the idea of having anybody other than herself as point person on our day of. I would recommend Rachelle to absolutely anybody planning a wedding.

She kept us on schedule and on task and thought of all the million and one things we would never have considered on our own. I researched extensively for 3-4 weeks and narrowed it down my top 3 favorite wedding planners (from customer reviews.) My fiancé and I met with each of these wedding planners, who were all incredible, but it was obvious to us that Rachelle was special. Not even a second thought. We literally walked away from our coffee shop meeting with her, looking at each other going “Yep. She's an excellent communicator and extremely detail oriented - she remembers details from each and every one of our conversations (even things we had forgotten!). She attended every vendor meeting with us to make sure our visions came to life and each of these complimented our wedding as a whole. She also managed all communication with our venue and vendors leading up to and day of - providing everyone with the details they needed. I didn't worry about a thing because I trusted and knew she had everything taken care of. All of our guests were blown away by the event details. We changed the order of events at the reception and Rachelle's recommendations kept the energy up the entire time! Our wedding day was beautiful and exceeded my expectations in every way, thanks to Rachelle! She's amazing at what she does and would recommend her to any engaged couple. She went above and beyond for us and couldn't have been happier with her services!!
