Jennie is the most amazing florist to work with! She is so creative and kind. She knew what we wanted before we even knew and were so blown away by the florals at the actual wedding. Could not have asked for a better florist for our wedding. Our guests continue to compliment our beautiful flower arrangements.

We won the lottery working with Jennie. She is incredibly kind, flexible, talented, and communicative. We went through multiple different wedding plans ( thanks, covid-19). Jennie helped us shift from our original 200+ person wedding in the mountains to a small backyard wedding with some guests driving by. Aside from congratulating us, our flowers were the top compliment we received on our big day. They were perfect and so much more than we envisioned. We can't wait to work with Jennie again.

Where do I even begin!? Jennie is not only the SWEETEST human being, she is also the most talented florist! She took my vision board for an elegant, polished, and romantic mountain wedding and brought it to life with the most incredible blooms, greenery, and texture. Everything she did elevated our wedding day. She went out of her way to source blooms that weren’t in season. She worked so hard all day adding greenery to our dining space, pampas grass to the wedding aisle, an amazing installation to surround us as we said our vows, and then transferred it all to repurpose it around the reception area. A special, unexpected, highlight of our wedding day was being surrounded by bumble bees and hummingbirds. My husband and I met on the dating site, Bumble, and the gentle bumble bee that enjoyed the pollen in my bouquet all day was so meaningful to us. The hummingbirds added such a whimsical touch as they kept us company over dinner. I’m sure these creatures are common at the wedding venue (Camp Hale), but I partially credit Jennie for adding this magic to our day. All in all, if you’re looking for a florist for any event, look no further. Jennie was AMAZING to work with! The flowers were one of our top priorities for our wedding, so my fiancé and I interviewed four different florists. Jennie was by far and away the best. She took all of our ideas and visions and made them into something far beyond what we could dream of. She was great at communicating, priced fairly, and walked us through every step of the process. Jennie is the absolute best! Not only was she one of my favorite vendors to work with, she is a genius at her craft. She brought my dream florals to life and exceeded my expectations. I loved working with her (and there were many conversations had along the way). She was such a joy and breath of fresh air. The nicest person ever! The pandemic was present about two months before my wedding date. Jennie was able to make a shift to my micro-luxe style wedding and did it with ease. She helped me get through that time! I am so appreciative of her work and couldn’t imagine our wedding weekend with out her. Hiring her was the best decision!

Jennie is absolutely amazing. During our initial phone conversation (we couldn't meet in person due to Covid) she was warm, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. She really listened to my vision and put together a gorgeous inspiration packet that was even more beautiful than I could have ever expected. She is really a master of her craft and she has an eye for putting together unique bouquets of flowers!! She is extremely punctual in her responses and I never had to wait long to hear back via email.

This review is long overdue but I wanted to pay it forward to other brides as well as highlight Jennie’s work. I didn’t have much of a vision when I initially met with her but she was able to create exactly what I didn’t know I wanted! Guests even told me the flowers were over-the -top (which I think is an exaggeration and impossible) but they absolutely were a showstopper and left a lasting impression. She worked well with my budget and was open to some changes and last minute requests. She even stuck around after the ceremony to set up for the reception. Thank you Jennie for your part in our unforgettable day!!!

Jennie was so incredible to work with and her design ideas were stunning. Her initial design proposal was spot on but the result at the wedding was even better. We received so many compliments on the flowers and I will forever cherish my incredible bouquet. Jennie was so flexible and helped find ways to work within my budget. She was also an incredibly positive and friendly person. I'm so happy my wedding planner recommended her and the day would not have been the same without her.

I cannot express how wonderful Jennie was to work with. We got married 8/26/2019 in Estes Park, Colorado. I had no idea what I envisioned for flowers going into the planning process. Her floral proposal was amazing- but the way everything looked on our big day- blew the proposal out of the water! The flowers and arrangements were incredible, and on top of everything, almost everything came from local vendors and farms. Jennie was so helpful and attentive, answered all of our questions, and truly brought a special and personalized touch to each piece of the ceremony and reception area. She is extremely talented at what she does. She made a picture perfect Colorado day even more beautiful than we could have imagined!

Jennie did such a wonderful job with our flowers for our wedding last weekend in Boulder! She took our vision and made it into a reality (my mom even teared up when she first saw my bridal bouquet!). Her creativity, attention to detail, and artistry are unparalleled, and she is such a pleasure to work with. We were beyond impressed that she not only designed all the floral arrangements for our day, but she also spent the majority of the day at our wedding venue ensuring that everything was perfect. Our wedding coordinator, Jillian Jensen (who is also amazing), recommended Jennie as our florist, and we could not be happier that we took her advice. She had a highly competitive price point and exceeded all expectations.

Jennie was wonderful to work with and she executed perfectly on our vision for our wedding flowers by taking our preferences and ideas to created the perfect elevated result. The flowers were gorgeous, my bouquet was absolute perfection and one of my favorite elements were the ceremony pieces she created, they were unique but classic and pulled everything together. Our flowers were fresh and looked wonderful even after a hotter than expected day. She even freshened up my bouquet before my walk down the aisle. Jennie was able to use our ceremony pieces in the reception design and provide candles and holders for the reception as well. I cant say enough how talented she is and great to work with!

Jennie was amazing!! All of the flowers were exactly what we were looking for at our wedding. They were all beautifully crafted together and it is obvious that she loves what she does and chooses high quality! She was available and willing to help with whatever we needed. We rented several items from her instead of having to purchase a bunch of items we would only need once. Jennie did not just drop off the flowers, she beautifully displayed all of the centerpieces and flowers around the venue. She also stayed until after the ceremony was complete to take down the ceremony flowers, which were gorgeously placed on the alter! We honestly cannot say enough compliments about her work and if you choose her, you will not be disappointed! We highly recommend her!

Jennie was absolutely amazing. The flowers that she put together for our wedding were stunning. We got so many compliments on them. I am so glad that we didn’t really have other decorations, because they were all we needed! She also made flower combs for the bridesmaids, and they looked absolutely gorgeous. Jennie was great, too. She came and set everything up, and moved things around after the ceremony for the reception. One of my favorite aspects of my wedding was the flowers!! Jennie did such an amazing job executing my vision. Working in the landscape industry, the flowers were a very important component to me and Jennie absolutely delivered! Jennie was amazing to work with for our wedding. I am a very visual person and had a really hard time envisioning how flower arrangements and decor were going to look when described.. this is where Jennie sets herself apart. After our meeting she sent us an inspiration document which was 3 pages of pictures and notes from our meeting. It solidified to me that she totally understood our vision and what we wanted. She was extremely responsive and helpful and I didn't give a whole lot of input aside from what was agreed upon in our inspiration document. Fast forward 8+ months and I was nervous about how everything would turn out and if we had enough centerpieces and you know how the mind runs wild from there. Then on the day of I got to pass through the reception hall as I was waiting to walk down the aisle and I was literally brought to tears with how overwhelmingly beautiful everything was. I received insane compliments from people on the flowers and design of the centerpieces (we had a mix of tall and short centerpieces) as well as the outdoor ceremony planters and faux-arch Jennie designed for us. I am so glad I trusted a professional and creative person to just do the dang thing because Jennie did it well. During the months leading up to our wedding I had proclaimed that Jennie was a wizard and I will stand by that here in my review of her services, she truly is a wizard and you will not regret working with her for your big day. Just trust her and let her do what she does best!

My wedding florals were everything I wanted and more! I had a very boho vision for my wedding and Jennie totally nailed it! She was a dream to work with and created such beautiful floral work, and at a very reasonable cost compared to other florists in the Denver area. When researching wedding florists, I found it hard to find places that would vibe with the boho look I wanted so I was (and still am) thrilled I found Jennie. Her vision for my wedding was perfectly aligned with mine! Her assistant, Heather, set up my flowers the day of the wedding and was so sweet and easy to work with - even willing to do little last minute modifications! Honestly all I can say about Jennie and Sugar n Stems is WOW! I have gotten so many compliments on the flowers at my September wedding at Ya Ya Orchard. She was absolutely amazing, so flexible and wonderful to work with prior to the wedding and the flowers turned out more incredible than I could have ever imagined. She brought so much of her unique artistry and completely blew it out of the water. Not to mention, setting up all the flowers and arbor in the pouring rain. Our venue owner, who has been in the wedding business for years, said she hasn’t seen floral arrangements as beautiful in 5 years! Jennie was extremely affordable and accommodating of all our ideas. Jennie is an absolute blessing. I couldn't even imagine my wedding without her. She captured my dream wedding ideas and went over and beyond what I had expected. She was prompt in answering questions, had a friendly personality, gave me ideas to make my vision even better, and even when I was absolutely having a panic attack before the wedding calmed me down and I call her and my photographer my fairy god mothers. I cannot even begin to say enough good things about Jennie!! My husband and I traveled to Colorado for a destination wedding along with ~120 guests. Jennie helped us with both our rehearsal and the ceremony. First, she provided the most beautiful flowers...even better than I imagined! She understood our vision and created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and reception. Jennie also stepped in and helped coordinate our entire event. The resort where we got married was very unorganized and Jennie stepped right in and made sure our day as absolutely perfect :) She is so talented and organized, we could not have done it without her. Jennie is an absolutely INCREDIBLE florist! I knew from the minute that we met her that she was going to be wonderful to work with. She is super kind, generous, hilarious, creative and so flexible. I kept adding more and more flowers and Jennie was always so collaborative, patient and helpful. She completely made our vision become a reality, and we truly loved every piece that she created for us from the bouquets to my flower crown to the chuppah to our centerpieces. The flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole design process so much fun. I knew she would do a great job, and she totally exceeded our expectations. Plus, she is part of a ribbon club and used gorgeous ribbons for my bouquet! I could go on and on but ultimately Jennie was simply wonderful, so passionate about her work, very reasonable and has a phenomenal eye for design.

Jennie, you are THE BEST! If you need a florist, you should look no further. After our first meeting, my fiancé could tell I loved Jennie's personality. It's so great to have someone that makes this entire process fun and that's exactly what she does. She sent me a gift about a month before the wedding telling me to relax and everything will be perfect. How many vendors do that?! I forgot to tell her prior to the wedding that we added three more tables and she improvised. The centerpieces were exactly what I wanted. The arch was perfection. Everything was just amazing. My husband and I hired Jennie from Sugar n’ Stems as our florist for our June 2017 wedding in Colorado. Jennie was fantastic to work with and we were thrilled with the final design. She listened to our ideas and was cognizant of our budget without taking away from the overall vision. The final floral layout at the reception was so beautiful I almost cried. We cannot recommend Jennie and her talented team highly enough.

Jeni is the best!! I would highly recommend her! The arrangements she made were stunning and I received so many compliments from guests! She worked hard to figure out what I wanted, going so far as to make some sample pieces and send me pictures for my input! She was highly communicative throughout the whole process and continually made changes to my order as I came up with different ideas and last minute additions. We are so happy with our choice in florist! She captured exactly what we wanted. One of the first things my Husband and I decided on was not wanting anything too crazy, we wanted a more natural look for our day and boy did Sugar n' Stems deliver! Jennie always got back to us in a timely fashion with any questions that we had and was very flexible when our timeline changed a bit at the last minute. Almost 2 weeks after our wedding we still have some of the arrangements hanging around and they still look absolutely wonderful. The arbor that was created for us was absolutely stunning. Jennie was amazing! She was easy to work with and understood what I was looking for immediately. The flowers and decor for the wedding and reception exceeded my expectations.

Jennie is amazing!! She is a true artist and a kind, caring person to boot. I came to her with minimal direction ("rustic and romantic"), a pretty tight budget, and she was able to work magic. Everything was beautiful and spot-on, but I have to say that I was especially blown away by the bridal bouquet. It was absolutely stunning!! I received so many compliments during and after the wedding. Her designs went perfectly with the historic venue. Jennie was able to deliver exception value for the money. Other florists I contacted either never responded or charged at least $2500 for a very basic package. Jennie was able to work with us to keep to our (significantly lower) budget. While other florists mark up the flowers, Jennie passes through the wholesale price and just charges for the labor. She also reuses votives and containers, something we appreciated as waste-conscious consumers. I'm so happy we decided to go with Sugar 'n Stems for our wedding. Couldn't have asked for more beautiful flowers or a better experience!

I am not sure where to start. From the beginning, Jennie was able to transform my random comments and pictures into flowers that made me speechless. Jennie was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to ensure that we were blown away. My family, friends and our photographers were impressed with how well the flowers tied everything together. My photographer even said she had never seen a bouquet like it! Loved that most of all) and she immediately began to turn my vague vision into a beautiful reality. She worked within my budget and made my dream of vintage style wedding into a stunning masterpiece. I can't say enough wonderful things! Jennie was an absolute dream to work with and hiring her was hands down the best decision we made for our entire wedding. We met with three different florists before we found Sugar n' Stems. After I met Jennie, I knew she was the one! Her energy, creativity, and passion are next to none and her pricing was very reasonable. She took my vision and turned it into something more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. Our guests absolutely raved about how beautiful all of the flowers were. Our venue (which does several weddings every week) told us Jennie's florals and decor were the best they had ever seen in the space. Sugar n' Stems was a vendor for my wedding at Ellis Ranch in Loveland CO. She made all the bouquets, boutonnieres, and also provided many of the extra pieces for our centerpieces for no extra costs. All of the flowers for the entire day were arranged beautifully and Jennie went the extra mile to make sure the entire venue had a nice touch. I would recommend Jennie for any floral or wedding coordinating needs as our wedding would not have been the same without her!

No need to look at further reviews for other florists. You can stop right here because Jenni with Sugar n' Stems is your gal! Let me enumerate the reasons why: 1. SMALL BUSINESS OWNER: She started her own business and works out of her home (large floral refrigerators and all!) so she does not have the same overhead the corporate florists do. Hence, her prices are very very reasonable and she will work with whatever budget you have in mind. No need to rent all the vases, etc. That is provided and only expectation is that it is returned. She's got quite the collection of vases, etc. She even went searching for the perfect items for my wedding. 2. CREATIVE GENIUS: Her work is magical! I got several comments on all the flowers from my bouquet to the table decor from guests who agreed. So, I told her the theme of the wedding and the colors and textures and she created my table designs for me....she's got the artistic eye for this sort of thing, and it matched exactly what I had in mind. What's more, she charges a nominal fee for her to set everything up, even down to pinning all the corsages and bouts on my family members! 3. LOVES WHAT SHE DOES: She was so helpful all throughout the wedding planning with other ideas, and answered any questions I had along the way about what color linens would go best with the tables, etc. She is in love with her job, and it shows! She is so happy and helpful, such a breath of fresh air when the wedding details get heavy.

Sugar n' Stems and Jennie came recommended from another friend who recently got married. Jennie had another wedding the day of ours so we only contracted with her to do our bouquets, bouts, corsages - All were completely GORGEOUS!!! I wanted lots of bright fun colors and she nailed it!! Sometimes Jennie's communication is lacking but I didn't let that stress me out and she more than made up for it with the end product. Thank you Jennie!!

Jennie did the flowers for my fall wedding in Estes Park and they were AMAZING! Sugar n' Stems is simply wonderful!! From our first meeting to discuss ideas and concepts to the actual delivery of the centerpieces and bouquets, Jennie was professional and prompt. I showed her my Pinterest board and told her I was wanting a "rustic & romantic" wedding, she came up with a great color and flower story, and then delivered that concept on the day of our wedding. I had so many guests compliment us on the centerpieces and how great the reception area smelled from all the fresh flowers. Pricing was great, payment was easy, and Jennie even worked with us when our final headcount was 50 people less than we anticipated. I highly recommend Sugar n' Stems!!! I am beyond thrilled that we choose them as our florists for our wedding.

Wow! Jennie went above and beyond for our wedding!! Not only were the flowers spectacular, but they were all so incredibly unique. She was able to bring my vision of our wedding to life and it was even better than expected. She was such a pleasure to work with. Even when our venue changed the table sizes during the week prior to our wedding, which made us grow by 3 tables, Jennie made me feel calm and reassured that the flowers/table decor could be changed. She was able to put together more table decor and it was just perfect! Not only did she set up at our reception, she went to our outdoor ceremony location and added the most stunning floral arrangement to our arch. It looked like it was out of a movie or magazine, it was so beautiful! (I forgot to mention that the bridal bouquet was exactly as I had imagined, it was the perfect size and style! My bridesmaids all loved their bouquets too!) Words cannot express how grateful I am to have hired Jennie. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding or event!

To be completely honest, I wasn't overjoyed about my experience. I felt that there was trouble With communication. In the beginning she was great, she answered my questions quickly and helped me with any of my concerns. Her communication kind of died off a few months in and then picked back up the week of my wedding. In the middle if I had questions she said she was at he DMV, or at dinner with her in-laws, or in the mountains. Which okay, that's great, just get back to me when you say you're going to, don't take a week. The real problem was on my wedding day. The flowers I was promised in my contract were NOT the flowers I got. She didn't even run the changes by me! We agreed on dahlias, she showed up with roses. My bridal bouquet, cake, and centerpieces were all supposed to be dahlias and they were roses. If I had known that she would go against the contract and bring completely different flowers I would have gone with someone else. She "made up for it" by adding more greenery and making my centerpieces "fuller". That may have been okay with someone else but I WANTED a single, simple dahlia for the centerpieces. She emailed me the day after my wedding to let me know she made changes THE DAY BEFORE. WITHOUT ASKING ME. What was I supposed to say? Yes I understand things come up, things happen. But I definitely don't understand why it was never brought up to me, why she didn't ask ME what I wanted for MY wedding. She didn't offer a refund, she never really even acted like it was a big deal - which it was. She said she couldn't get the dahlias but the bulk of the weddings following mine had the exact dahlias that she "couldn't get." So yes, Jennie is incredibly nice, but incredibly disorganized.

Jennie was a sweetheart to work with from the first coffee date. My mother-in-law was super helpful and found Sugar ‘N Stems for our wedding flowers. She came very prepared to our first meeting, asking us questions about our style and what we envisioned at the wedding. She took detailed notes on images, types of flowers, how many we would need, and the overall theme we wanted. We communicated back and forth frequently via email, and she sent us a detailed proposal packet with photos, details, and descriptions of how she would set up the venue. She was very reasonably priced and definitely accommodated our somewhat-small budget. I LOVED that she set up our entire ceremony and reception sites with her flowers and some of my DIY materials (wood blocks, vases, books), which took SO much stress out of the wedding. My father-in-law made an awesome wooden arch that she then decorated with draped lace and flowers accenting the top and sides. Everything looked absolutely beautiful! There were only a couple of tiny differences than what we had talked about before, including different flowers on our cake, and some timing issues with the flower girl’s petals and the mothers’ corsages. Other than those small things, I would recommend Jennie to anyone! Her work is beautiful and very well priced.

Jennie is absolutely amazing! From meeting downtown to see my vision for my wedding to making continuous adjustments to my bouquets, Jennie went above and beyond. I had always envisioned my wedding bouquet, but Jennie gave me more than I could have every imagined. From the first time I met Jennie she was warm and sweet - somebody you want to work! It wasn't until I started following her on Instagram that I realized just how amazing and creative her work is. Jennie was amazing from start to finish! We met with her once and I knew she could bring to life exactly what I wanted even if I couldn't explain it. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Everyone was raving about how beautiful they looked! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! Even the things I would have forgotten, she remember and the small details are what made it even more amazing! My bouquet was stunning and smelled amazing. I couldn't part with it so I actually have it drying to put in a shadow box. I would recommend Jennie and day of the week. Jennie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very accessible and understood our vision right off the bat. We told her what we wanted, how much we could spend, and she made it happen. We loved the colors and styles that Jennie chose and everything went great with the venue and the other decor. She was also great at providing some of her own decor for the tables and setting everything up for us. We have no idea how everything would've gotten done with setting up the tables if it weren't for her. Her flowers were beautiful and we definitely recommend her for whatever your needs may be!
