Wedding date: July 13, 2024 We couldn’t have been happier with Sugar Pine Catering! They truly exceeded our expectations in every way. For our welcome party, they brought out their mobile woodfired pizza oven, which was such a hit. Not only was the pizza delicious, but the team made the night even more special by involving us in the pizza-making process—so much fun! For our wedding reception, they crafted a customized seasonal, farm-to-table menu that perfectly reflected our tastes. From the mouthwatering appetizers to the incredible main courses of honey miso poached cod and braised short rib, every dish was outstanding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. The catering staff was top-notch, professional, and added to the fun atmosphere of our events. They even went the extra mile to make us a special cocktail syrup for our signature drink at the bar, adding a personalized touch to the night. We can’t say enough good things about Sugar Pine Catering. The seasonal menu was outstanding—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the heirloom tomato and peach salad! The stuffed trout was a unique farm-to-table dish, not something you typically find at weddings. We chose family-style dining, which made the meal interactive and fun, with plenty of food for everyone to enjoy. The bartenders were personable, and the entire wait staff was impeccable. The cocktail tasting was next level, making it hard to choose, but our two signature cocktails were a hit. Lance, the coordinator, was on top of every detail, helping us stay within our budget while suggesting ways to enhance our guests' experience. During the tasting, we even had the opportunity to speak with the chef, which made us feel special and valued. We’ve been to many weddings where the food wasn’t memorable, but at ours, everyone commented that this was one of the best meals they’d ever had at a wedding. Highly recommend!

Sugar Pine catered our July Wedding in Estes Park and we cannot thank them enough! From the first tasting down to the day of, Lance and his team were incredible to work with and were always ready and willing to help with anything and everything! The food was incredible and all of our guests were raving about it! The wait staff was superb and quick and efficient!! We will definitely be back to enjoy a dinner or lunch from them in the future!

We used Sugar Pine for our Estes Park wedding this past weekend and they were fantastic! Lance worked with us on the menu and head count, and was tremendous on the wedding day. Our meals were delicious, and all of our guest who ordered the salmon were raving about it the next day. The staff were attentive and made sure me and my husband never needed anything. We used Sugar-pine catering for our rehearsal brunch and our wedding buffet in Estes Park mid June of 2024. We are from Louisiana, so our taste buds are a little different than most states. Not only did their team deliver with our specific requests, they NAILED it. I went in blind due to the fact I couldn’t get there to do a food tasting, so I just trusted the process. Even though some items weren’t on their menu, they still were able to provide what we wanted with their special twists to it. It was actually a lot of fun- they may even save that menu for another southern event ;) All in all, Lance was super kind and easy going- made the whole process so much easier and smooth. I highly recommend them in the state of Colorado for all of your catering needs. 10/10

Everyone really enjoyed the food! Sugar Pine helped pour champagne for our champagne wall prior to the ceremony and the bartenders were super friendly and attentive the entire evening! My guests gave several compliments to the Sugar Pine Staff!

We were so impressed and thankful to have such a wonderful caterer as Sugar Pine. Lance was phenomenal; he was the single easiest person to work with throughout all of our wedding planning and was so accommodating and responsive. We had to make a number of changes to the final guest count and had a few dietary restrictions and we knew we were in such good hands. Everyone raved about how good the food is; we still hear people praising all the dishes months later, which says all you need to know. Sugar pine works directly with the St Vrain, where I got married. They had such amazing food and their coordinator Julie was great to work with. My guests still rave about the food from our wedding. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Sugar Pine was the most incredible vendor to work with on our wedding. They are so much more than a cater and truly brought our vision to life with their detailed oriented approach to service. Bailey and Scott were so responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the event. They saw our vision for the day and used food, drinks, decor to bring it to life. Our guests raved about the food and people who do not normally drink cocktails were coming up to us saying how good the drinks were. The small decor details were also so appreciated and elevated the vibes of the event. We would book them 100x over if we had the chance to get married again.

Food was absolutely delicious. Working with Lance was incredible, he is prompt to reply and really cares that your special day goes smoothly. Our guests raved about the food for many days after our wedding. The staff and bartenders were kind and clearly experienced. 10/10 would recommend! Cons: Had to pay extra to try our cupcakes and specialty drink at our tasting.

We got married at the St. Vrain in Longmont and used Sugar Pine for our caterer. From the beginning they were amazing to work with. They reach out to you every step along the way and walk you through the entire process so you don't miss a thing. They have so many different options and I really loved that they had a family style serving option. I wasn't a big fan of a buffet but loved that this was a happy medium between buffet and plated. It also allowed our guests to naturally talk with one another if they didn't know each other. The food at our wedding was amazing. We went into the process expecting the usual wedding food experience but one of the top comments that we have gotten about our big day was how fantastic the food was and asking who our caterer was. We selected the butternut squash cannelloni and drunken braised beef cheeks. If I could have the cannelloni every day I would. The beef was so tender you didn't need even a butterknife to eat it. Everything from start to finish was also plated so beautifully. Their bar service was fantastic. They worked with us to create 2 signature cocktails and offer a full open bar, but will work with you on whatever you need. They were extremely responsive and checked in every step of the way as well. Overall we were extremely happy with Sugar Pine and will be looking for their pop up events in the future to attend.

Sugar Pine is one of the select few caterers our venue would allow, and I can definitely understand why. Their food and service was absolutely stellar and I could not imagine using anyone else for our special day. We received SO many compliments on how great the food was, and I am so happy about that. Sugar Pine catered our recent wedding at Planet Bluegrass and I cannot recommend them enough. The food was incredible - all of our guests were ranting and raving about how delicious it was all night. I still dream about the beef short ribs they were so amazing. You can tell that the staff and chefs at Sugar Pine truly love good quality food and care about where the ingredients are from. They put so much thought and care into their food which i think is what makes it so delicious. Lance was so great to work with. Sugar Pine Catering did a wonderful job for our wedding in October 2022 and really brought the farm to table food that we envisioned for our family style dinner. Many of our guests shared that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and some even tried to recreate the menu at home. Sugar Pine is HANDS DOWN the best catering you will find! The guests all loved it and couldn't say enough about how delicious it was. Our wedding was at Planet Bluegrass and we had family style of market salad, short ribs & ahi tuna, farm roasted potatoes, fresh vegatables among other delicious food. I would give them higher than 5 stars. They totally knocked it out of the ballpark! Bailey was prompt in responding and took care of all of our catering needs. You will absolutely LOVE Sugar Pine!!!!!!

FOOD was 10/10! Sugar Pine really knocked it out of the park! We served buffet style for our wedding and the food was kept warm and delicious! My husband and I had ours platted and brought to our sweet heart table, so they really treated us like royalty! Communication all throughout the planning process was quick and efficiant, since we had so many changes and shifts and they didn't miss a detail! They made the whole night great, and I especially loved hearing from our guests that this was THE BEST food they have had at a wedding! We served the steak and potatoes and it was out of this world! We also had HIGH REVIEWS on the foccacia bread that we added to the dinner, many of our guests kept asking for more bread! Highly recommend!

Sugar Pine Catering is the best you could ever hope for. Not only did they perfect an entire vegan menu for our wedding, they also made special vegan meals for the children, and specialty meals for very specific food allergies. Sugar Pine accommodated our preferences in food and also helped with planning the rentals, including colors and fabrics for tablecloths and napkins. The food from Sugar Pine is all locally sourced weekly from farms around Longmont and Colorado and it certainly tastes like it! Lance personally served our plates at the wedding, which was such a nice touch. The servers at the wedding were incredibly professional and helpful for all of the guests. If you want AMAZING catering- look no further!

Sugar Pine catered our wedding on 10/07/22 at The St Vrain in Longmont, CO and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! Julie was great and communicated well with us regarding our food choices and service packages. She was also great at following up with us to make sure she got the information she needed from us in a timely manner. We did the group tasting last October to get a sense of the seasonal options for our wedding. The food was SO delicious and better than we remembered! Our guests could not stop raving over the food and were talking about it for days! They were very accommodating for our vegan guests as well! We did the buffet service and our guests were very pleased. My husband and I also had them plate our meals for us and serve them to us so we didn’t have to go through the buffet, and they plated the food beautifully for us… it was such a nice touch! The bar and service staff were also fantastic! I would recommend them a million times over!

The food that we had from Sugar Pine at our Estes Park Wedding was amazing! We did family style which is something Sugar Pine offers that not many other catering companies do. We had lots of positive feedback from our guests about the catering staff, the food quality, and the family style dining. We had a fantastic time at our tasting in Longmont and made it easy to pick out the items that we wanted at our wedding. The only complaint we had is that there were times that the communication could have been better. We realize that it was a busy wedding season but there were some delayed responses and a missed meeting with our venue that was a little disappointing. Other than that, we highly recommend working with Sugar Pine!

I wanted an effortlessly elegant mountain wedding for foodies, and Sugar Pine did not disappoint. Lance worked with us throughout the entire process, and it’s clear he cares about his couples and his team. He proactively communicated throughout the entire 8 months, took the time to understand my vision and make recommendations, and even made suggestions to streamline food. He never pushed anything extra, but still let me know options when I wanted more. On top of that, he brings such a positive and enthusiastic spirit, that it feels like you’re working with a best friend who is super invested in your event. Our guests are still raving about the food and service from our wedding last night. We had sous vide New York strip with duck fat chili emulsion and a red wine just amongst other spectacular dishes. Norning tasted like “wedding” food. Every entree tasted like it was made to order. Everything worked seamlessly thanks to Lance and his team.

Sugar Pine was the required caterer for our wedding at The St Vrain- and we honestly would not have had it any other way! Julie and her staff were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. They helped us craft an excellent (accidentally vegetarian) menu for the night that our guests raved over. Many of our guests commented that the food was the BEST they have ever had at a wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed attending our tasting last October, and were able to pick the perfect dishes for our September wedding with Julie's help. Also highly recommend their family style service. It allowed our guests to break the ice while passing the dishes and everyone's food came out super hot and yummy! Even if Sugar Pine is not required for your wedding- I would highly recommend them to anyone for their delicious food.

Sugar Pine catered our daughter's wedding and the food was phenomenal. There were meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans at the event and everyone ate a delicious meal. Serving family style meant everyone ate at the same time and really shared the meal. We loved working with Lance. He is kind, professional and supportive. Lance made the process enjoyable and he was there to ensure everything went well.

On our wedding day, we did a family style dinner service which most of our guests hadn't experienced before and really enjoyed. Lance was incredibly patient with us as we navigated the process of planning a wedding. As soon as we started our tasting, we knew they would be catering our wedding. The food is SO GOOD. It’s real-life good, not just good-for-wedding-food good. We continue to have guests raving about how delicious the food was, and having the option for family-style serving made it that much better. We are already trying to figure out another event we can plan just so we can have Sugar Pine cater for us again!

We absolutely loved having Sugar Pine as our caterer for our wedding. Lance and the team were fantastic to work with! The food was incredible. They know exactly how to make every plate so beautiful and tasty! Choosing a caterer for a wedding can be a bit overwhelming but Sugar Pine made the process so delicious and easy.

I cannot say enough great things about working with Lance and Sugar Pine Catering for our wedding! From the start, I noticed how easy and transparent the process is. They have PDFs of their menus and prices so you can easily get an idea of the cost of the event. I had such a hard time finding that ease anywhere else. Once we decided to go with Sugar Pine, we had an incredible tasting and we found out just how delicious the food is. Over the next 6 months we worked with Lance to make small tweaks to our menu, and he was responsive and quick every step of the way. Once the big day came, we did not have to worry about a single thing. The bars were set up beautifully, all of the rentals of dinnerware, tables, and glassware were completely set up and taken care of, and the food was just as delicious as I remembered. All of our guests could not stop raving about the coffee-rubbed steak and the green beans. It was so great to not have to think about the details on our wedding day and I recommend Sugar Pine for anyone getting married or having a wedding in Colorado!

Sugar Pine did a phenomenal job catering our backyard wedding ceremony! We were planning from out of state, and Lance made the entire process so easy and enjoyable! The food was AMAZING- I will be dreaming about the heirloom tomato salad for a long time! The whole meal was delicious and the custom dessert was a special touch on a beautiful evening. Cannot recommend Sugar Pine enough- thank you all for making our evening so wonderful!
