Her cakes can be made in a variety of styles, including rustic and classic. To help you choose the flavor of your wedding cake, Shannon offers a tasting box full of sweet treats for you to try. Flavors she specializes in include vanilla, red velvet, pistachio, lemon, gingerbread, and almond. As well as cakes, she also offers cupcakes, cookies, and cake pops. Sugar Shananigans was great to work with! First of all, we needed a gluten-free cake, and she offered us several options. When we found a design that we liked, she said that she loved it and would be able to make it with no issue. The cake was gorgeous, delicious, and exactly what we had asked for! Shannon was a great communicator and answered all of my questions. She was very professional, and she even delivered the cake to our venue. As far as wedding cakes go, the value was outstanding!! We could not have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend Sugar Shananigans!

Our cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. Working with Shannon made finalizing desserts for our wedding a breeze and we couldn't thank her more. Everyone raved about the cupcakes!

Shannon’s work is beautiful and delicious! I decided last minute to do a big cake and she met with me on a Sunday with samples, and had no problem adding us on for a cake a month before. The cake was delicious and everyone loved it!!!

Shannon made my wedding cake for my August 2023 wedding. Not only was the cake absolutely stunning, it was so delicious. Shannon was also extremely easy to work with and so helpful and accommodating. You can tell that she truly loves what she does, because it translates into how much time and care she puts into her bakery. I am so thankful that we found Shannon and that she was such a memorable part of our wedding day. Thank you for everything!!

5 stars doesn’t cut it, Sugar Shananigans is hands down the best baked goods I’ve ever had. Her pricing is beyond reasonable, definitely the best bang for your buck. She has so many different delicious flavors to choose from and her artistic ability to bring your vision alive is truly incredible. For our wedding we ordered a cake and cupcakes from her. She gave us samples to try and worked with me to bring my dream cake to life. We were so in awe with how wonderful everything was from the wedding we continued to order from her for birthdays and special events, she’s become a friend. Shannon was great at communicating and getting things done on time ! I would recommend her to anyone, I promise you won’t be disappointed !

We hired Sugar Shananigans (formerly known as Cakes & Things) for our November 2020 wedding. I have to say my entire theme was based around a Pinterest picture of a cake- a type of sweater looking cake with evergreens, roses and pinecones. Shannon was able to create a cake that matched perfectly to the inspiration picture I sent her and also the flavors we to DIE for. I also had a rustic piece of wood I wanted to use as my cake stand and she drove to my house to pick it up to have for the wedding. I will be sure to use Shannon for all cake/dessert needs in the future. THANKS Shannon!

I literally cannot say enough AMAZING things about Sugar Shananigans! From our tasting, to designing our cake, and the big day; everything was beyond perfect. Her cake flavors are the best, her designs are so elegant, and she is just an incredible person to work with. My husband designed and made our cake topper and accents to represent our fur babies and Shannon displayed them perfectly.

I used sugar shananigans for our wedding cake and it was the absolute best tasting cake I have ever had! Everyone loved it and it was beautiful as well, she made my cake vision come to life! I definitely recommend hiring them for your cake needs!
