Sugarloaf has always been a special place for us but our experience with the entire Sugarloaf staff from start to finish solidified that Sugarloaf is home, and the staff is family. From the moment we sat down for our first meeting with Kayla and Scott, it felt right. Kayla was incredibly kind, thoughtful, responsive and understanding through the ups and downs of wedding planning through a pandemic (all while also planning her own!). Our guests began commenting on the kind and welcoming staff back when they were first just calling to book their rooms and they continued to praise the overall Loaf experience through the entirety of our wedding weekend. Sugarloaf will forever hold a special place in our hearts and every trip up we will be reminded of the magic of our wedding. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every staff member at Sugarloaf! You made all our wedding dreams come true!

ck from our guests as well. Our original venue fell through (right after we sent our save the dates...), and luckily Sugarloaf still had our date available! The coordination ahead of time and day-of was great, and everything went smoothly. There were a couple of times when we seemed to rehash the same details multiple times but other than that everything was good. We were able to organize an informal after party at The Rack nearby, and Sugarloaf coordinated the transportation. We (and many of our guests) stayed at the Sugarloaf hotel, which was super convenient for the ceremony, but a lot of our friends also found airbnbs nearby as well. Definitely would recommend this venue to other couples!

hotel staff, to the waiters...Professional, polite, helpful, accommodating...the list goes on! It felt like we had the mountain and hotel to ourselves during this time of year. The scenery was gorgeous. The chef and food prepared were amazing. The wedding coordinator, Julia, was so helpful and took all the stress out of wedding planning. Would highly recommend Sugarloaf as your wedding destination! So grateful we chose this venue, it was perfect!

guests and it was an easy walk back forth. They provide you with a wedding coordinator which was extremely helpful; especially during the day of. We were able to access the room on Friday to decorate all day and then again Saturday morning to do the centerpiece flowers. They were very accommodating, even allowing us to drive our car all the way up to the back door to unload our decorations. They lit the outdoor fireplace all night long! Cocktail hour was set up in a separate room with it's own bar and then there was another bar set up in the King Pine Room for the reception. It was great to have two separate places for our guests to explore. Amazing pictures with the mountain in the background. It was the most magical place for us to have our reception.

able option, and the overall experience was wonderful. The planning process was a little bit stressful. Our venue for the reception was double booked without notification and we were expected to change our ceremony time. Response time to questions was very slow, and it seemed like after we booked the venue we were not a priority. That being said, the day itself went off without a hitch. I would use the venue again, but be warned you have to be a little pushy to get what you want and you need to stay on top of the details. Overall it was a perfect day.
