Summit Catering was absolutely delicious for our wedding. All the food was spectacular and the catering staff and bar tenders were so kind, attentive and easy to work with. The staff took care of my wife and I throughout the entire evening, making sure we had food and beverages. They also suggested that we do one of our appetizers at the end of the night as a snack for people going home or still dancing and it was incredibly popular. Also, my wife is Gluten Free and the entire menu, with the exception of two appetizers, was able to be made gluten free for the entire wedding. Highly recommend.

Summit Event Catering is an amazing catering company. They did a fantastic job on all aspects of the catering for my wedding. I am still getting compliments from my wedding guests on how delicious the food was. Also- Summit has excellent customer service, they are very professional and responsive. There are not enough ways to express my gratitude for the work that Tyler Huff and the team at Summit Events Catering put into making our wedding day special. We were originally getting married in Maine but, Covid changed things and we wanted to keep the date, so the wedding in California was pretty last minute. From the very beginning they went above and beyond building our confidence in their ability to deliver our vision for our wedding day. A few of the ways they did that was with constant communication, flexibility (even last minute changes), and having the willingness to go the extra mile. Tyler actually went the extra mile, or 40, and saved the day by going to get the wedding cake we forgot to pick up across town. The food definitely deserves a shout out! Due to covid we weren't able to try the food before the wedding day, but we were very pleased with everything we selected. And lastly, when the wedding was all said and done we heard from the owner of Summit Events Catering congratulating us and to make sure we were happy with the services provided. Summit Catering was awesome! The food at our wedding was so delicious- we especially received so many compliments about the apps. From the apps, to the full plated meal to the customer service, everything was top notch! Also this is the only place that is fair in their pricing during our search and on top of that after going to the tasting, it was hands down an easy choice! All food they create is amazingly delicious- you cannot go wrong with Summit Catering!

This is the best bang for the buck as far as food goes, and it only gets better. We shopped a lot of vendors for catering and this one came in as the most inclusive, affordable and best run. The event master Pam is literally more than half the reason to go with these guys. She is a pro amongst pros. Her ability to manage day of events, guide you through tastings and make it happen day of - is out of control. Our guests were so pleased with the food selections, they still talk about it. Moving catered food is hard, serving food to 200 people all at once hard, but I am telling you all were happy. This may not be the most hip or experimental of the catering choices but it is amazing. The new chef has brought great flavors and ideas. We can't thank Pam enough and the bread pudding dessert they have should be outlawed it is so delicious. For larger weddings, professional settings, and a food experience that is flawless - trust Pam and her team.

Debbie and team were amazing! It was clear how much experience they had. She was organized and easy to communicate with pre-wedding. When we were doing photos (during cocktail hour), the staff was constantly checking on the bridal party to make sure we had something to eat. Especially one of the servers, Hannah! She was always going out of her way to make sure that I was fed. Couldn't have appreciated her more. During the reception, service continued to be fantastic -- people loved the late-night snacks of fries! Thank you to the team for contributing to such an unforgettable night!

An absolute pleasure to work with Summit Event Catering – the best! I contacted several caterers across LA and from the beginning I knew that Summit was the right choice. Veronica Medrano is the only person that called me to talk about my inquiry and I knew after our call that Summit was going to provide a great experience not only throughout the wedding planning process but on our wedding day as well. Veronica went above and beyond and to say that she is an expert at her craft is an understatement. The week of my wedding Veronica worked with her preferred vendors and made sure that we had everything we needed, handling a last minute crisis and for that we are forever grateful. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and I highly recommend Summit Event Catering.

Summit Events Catering was absolutely the best! Our venue allowed only certain vendors to work at their location with Summit being one of them. Of the three vendors we tried, Summit was the most affordable, but also the best tasting. Other preferred caterers of our venue either burned the food on our tasting or didn't taste very good. Pamela is who we worked with and she was like a second mother! She is so nice! Everything we tried during our tasting at Summit was so good. We ended up choosing several appetizers, with a chicken and beef for the main dish. Pamela was very patient with us as we had a tough time deciding what we wanted. We got so many compliments on the appetizers and main dishes during the wedding. And what was most surprising about Summit is that they were the most competitively priced caterer of the 3 we tried. We couldn't believe what a great deal we got with them. We were so glad we went with Summit.

Summit Event Catering provided all the food for our wedding on 5/6/17. We had the best experiences with Pam from start to finish. We first met Pam during our food tasting at their office after hours. We got to try all the food options as well as many premium food options. We loved so many items, it was hard to narrow it down to 2 dinner entrees for our guests. We had a custom menu through our wedding planner that had pre-fixed menu items so Pam spent the time to walk us through everything to help us narrow down to her favorite items. Overall wedding food was great, food was warm and many of the guests went back to ask for seconds. I would recommend Summit Event Catering for any major events.

When we first started to look for caterers, we had no idea what we were looking for and what we wanted. We found Summit Catering as one of the "preferred vendors" from our venue. They were located in Fullerton which is really close to where we live, so I made a call. From the moment I talked with Veronica on the phone from day 1, I knew they were our caterers. We even looked/spoke to 3 other caterers after them and we still came back to Summit. Veronica knew exactly what I wanted without me even knowing what I wanted. She knew my fiance and I were big on making sure the food was good and that all of our guests had a good time. Veronica helped us plan the perfect menu for our wedding with just the right amount of deliciousness and fun. We had great appetizers that fed our guests through cocktail hour. The food during the reception was amazing with a carving station to top it off. Lastly we had late night snacks with bacon wrapped hot dogs that really helped with our guests who just wanted to linger around before heading home. Everyone til this day has complimented on how good the food was at the wedding and we can't thank Veronica enough for her guidance in planning. I also want to note that we got married in downtown LA during the Women's March (aka Trump protest) and Veronica and her team were still able to make their way to the venue site and prepare a meal for 260 guests on time. They had to push and shove (with some law enforcers) to get to our venue to set up, but they were professional and timeline. We couldn't have asked for a better team of caterers that wanted to make our day more special than we did for ourselves. We 200% guarantee that Summit and Veronica will take good care of you, your belly, and your guests

My husband and I have gushed that the cost of our wedding coordinator was completely worth it, solely because she connected us to Summit Catering. Our sales rep, Veronica, was incredible and put together the perfect menu for our day. We were having a Sunday brunch wedding and we wanted to accommodate our guests by serving a delicious and filling meal that was appropriate for mid-day. We came to our first tasting with some ideas in mind (pastries for cocktail hour, chicken & waffles for the entree buffet) and Veronica ran with those ideas, suggesting side dishes, additions, sauces, drinks and details that fit our theme AND our budget. The day of, the Summit team was incredible. They did a beautiful job of setting up in some tight spaces and displayed all the food in a convenient and pretty way. They were very efficient getting our guests through the buffet but best of all, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. Many of our guests came up to us saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We completely agreed. As for service, the staff was so friendly and professional. They joked with our guests and catered to us in an amazing way - refreshing our plates a few times when we let our food get cold while talking to friends and family. They also worked well with Food Finders - a service we used to distribute leftover food to food banks and shelters. We could not recommend Summit more!

Just got married a few weeks ago, and can't begin to say enough good things about Summit Event Catering, specifically Pam and Breagh. From the moment we met with Pam, we knew we had found our caterer. Even before the tasting, seeing all of our menu options, etc, we knew we were in good hands. It all turned out to be more than true, and over the course of a year, Pam helped plan, checked in with us, and work to make our reception perfect. Pam was there on the day of our wedding, and the lead server, Breagh, was truly wonderful. We are SO happy and can't wait to recommend Summit to our friends, and call Pam the next time we have an event!!

I got married last month and had the pleasure of working with Pam during my entire wedding process. She was kind and so easy to work with! The food was absolutely amazing and everyone is still talking about the mac and cheese! My wedding was outdoors and more of a rustic feel and the BBQ options were perfect for our event! The wedding was 200 guests and Summit made sure we had plenty of food and soft drinks throughout the night! I definitely recommend Summit for any wedding or event!

I had the pleasure of working with Veronica at Summit for my wedding at the Los Angeles River Center this summer. The food was absolutely delicious. I love the way their tastings are set up, you get to taste your menu along with the menu's of about four other couples. This was very helpful, my husband and I got a better feel of what we wanted for our wedding day. On our actual wedding day the food was so delicious, we got plenty of compliments from our guests. We had cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, a sit down dinner and a midnight snack at an amazing price. All the staff working were very professional and attentive. Veronica was very helpful throughout the whole planning process, she recommended awesome vendors for bar and party rentals. They were truly my wedding dream team!

Incredible staff and amazingly delicious food! We used Summit for our beach wedding and couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision. Veronica is such a wonderful person to work with...kind, patient and very knowledgable. We had help every step of the way designing our menu. Veronica works hard to orchestrate her team the day of your wedding making it as stress free as possible. From the very beginning, she went out of her way to accomodate all of our needs. Summit Catering was a God send! Our coordinator, Caroline, recommended Summit Catering because of their awesome service and delicious food. We are so glad we picked them! Veronica was our point of contact throughout the whole process and she was on point every single time. She was always there to help with any questions we had and was never pushy. From day one of our engagement my husband and I knew we wanted the In-N-Out truck at our wedding. But the truck just does burgers. We needed a caterer to help make the rest of the reception happen (appetizers, sides, servers, etc.). As I dug into the pages and pages of caterers in So Cal, I put an inquiry in to Summit. Veronica called me within minutes of hitting send and I knew immediately Summit was the one for us! Veronica took time to understand our background, the type of reception we envisioned and our budget. She had tons of experience (and a great reputation!) with our venue, the Diamond Bar Center. The truth is you’re not only getting great catering with Summit, but staff with the expertise to help your whole event run flawlessly. On the day of the wedding Veronica and her staff did an amazing job of ensuring our guests were tended to and well fed. Even when we hit some bumps in the road Veronica worked alongside our other vendors to keep things moving smoothly Oh, and did I mention the food is delicious?! Summit provided tray passed appetizers, a French fry bar with 5 different sauces, as well as green beans, a salad and a pasta side. I lived in Belgium and fell in love with one of their frites sauces that I could never find in the U.S. Veronica made note and had the chef make the sauce special for the wedding. The guests raved about all the food! If you’re looking for a wedding caterer who will help make your unique event ideas come to life (while staying in budget), then Summit is for you!

Pam Aki helped plan our catering and she truly makes you feel like family. You know your in good hands and she goes above and beyond. Four years later people are still talking about the food at our wedding and how beautiful our candy buffet was. My only complaint if u can call it that was when My husband and I got up to hug family during dinner the servers came by an cleared our plates which I hadn't even taken a bite of. So I never got to eat the food we picked. Also a few quests said the same thing about their cake being cleared right away.

Pam was our contact at Summit Catering and she was incredible. From helping to determine how many tables we needed to accommodating last minute additions to the guest list; She made our experience easy and wonderful. The food was delicious on the day of and we have had lots of great reviews from guests. I would recommend, and have already recommended, Summit Catering to any friend hosting a large event/Wedding in Orange County.

I was referred to Summit by a friend who used them for her wedding. Before my wedding, I did not put much thought into the food or the catering (of course) but my husband was pretty particular about what we would serve at our wedding. From the moment I emailed Pam inquiring about Summit's services, I knew we had made the right choice! Not only did she make the catering part of our wedding so easy. she was able to reccommend so many other great vendors and put all of it together wonderfully for us! She was so prompt in answering mine and my mom's emails (and yes, there were a lot!). She never seemed annoyed or overwhelmed with anything we asked and she made everything so easy! It was like having another wedding coordinator completely! She has done so many weddings in Southern California so she is very familiar with so many venues, as well as vendors. Unfortunately she was out of town on our wedding date so we did not have her there to share in such an amazing day that she 100% orchestrated. I would reccomend her to absolutely anyone- no matter your budget. Just for the peace of mind of knowing that if she says she will take care of it- she absolutely will! The staff that worked our wedding was so incredibly professional! Our food was amazing- as we knew it would be because of the tasting we did. You will absolutely not regret hiring Summit, and specifically Pam Aki to do your wedding! It will be the best decision of your whole wedding!

Pam Aki with Summit is the most wonderful person to work with. she is calm , professional, and delivers on her word. She greets your guest as if theyare the most important people ever , everybody felt welcomed and delighted to attend the wedding. You can tell Pams crew enjoys working with her, nobody was grumpy or too busy to tend to the guest. The food was fabulous. Many people say they do not remember the food at a wedding because it is all the same. Not with Summit events catering . The food was a pleasure to remember, We hade the brisket, green beans, rosted vegie pasta(Amazing@ and beautiful presentation), Garden salad W the myers lemon vinergarett ...they should bottle the dressing it is so delicious , you will crave it every time you have salad! We also had the garlic mashed potatoes that were the fluffiest I have ever eaten! The whole evening was so fun and the atmosphere was positive and inviting. Thank you Pam! I cannot wait to have another event so we can meet again : )

Everyone always talks about what a stressful time planning a wedding is. Thanks to Summit Events that was not our experience at all! We planned our California wedding while living in New York and Pam Aki worked with our strange schedule and limited availability for meetings and caterers and made it all a breeze. We held our wedding in my Grandmother's backyard and Pam and her team at Summit organized all of our rentals (tables/chairs etc), linens, bar, and of course the food. They were our "one stop shop" for basically everything. As for the food, I have had many guests come and tell me that it was the best food they have ever had at weddings. Many of them adding that they had been to "A LOT" of weddings. Pam worked with us to create a menu that would work with our backyard wedding in the summertime. They also worked with us to incorporate a favorite family recipe into the appetizer hour. They had great ideas and a great menu but were also flexible in their menus and pricing to accommodate what WE wanted for our day. Day of service was phenomenal as well. The servers and chefs were friendly and helpful and made everything really easy for us and our families. From my perspective (the bride) everything went perfectly smoothly, and if it didn't they handled it so I didn't have to! Overall, I could not have asked for a better event caterer. They were so much more to us than just caterers and I would not hesitate to recommend them to EVERYONE for EVERY possible event.

I recently had my wedding at Soka University and chose to have Summit Event Catering as a vendor. I do not have one bad thing to say about Summit. Not only did everyone rave about the food (which was amazing), but our event coordinator, Veronica Medrano, was the greatest thing that ever happened to us! She is a true professional and will put your event at the top of her priority list always. No matter how busy she is, she will always make sure that you are taken care of. Any questions that you may have- food related or not- she is there. She is very accommodating with budgets and will absolutely work with you to make it work. She helped us more than words can say and I could not be happier with our decision to go with Summit! You will not regret it!

We used Summit Event Catering for our wedding. They were awesome. We were overjoyed with everything from the food and service to their buffet table settings. The food was excellent and their service can't be beat. I wish I could give them more stars. Veronica was our event manager and she was great. I cannot say enough good things about her. She really helped my wife in the planning. I don't know what we would have done without her. I highly recommend Summit for your event. What a blessing it was to have them for our wedding. We could not have picked a better caterer. The food was exquisite, and the service was exceptional. I usually do not take the time to reviews, but in this case I want everyone to know how wonderful Summit Catering and their staff is. Veronica was our event manager, and she was so helpful. She understood my budget and really helped guide me through the process. Every question, food related or not, she gave me very helpful information. I used a majority of her suggestions on where to find other services, what to do in hairy situations, and general advice/recommendations on dealing with vendors. I did not even have to hire a wedding planner because she was so helpful. And did I mention the food was awesome. I have never been so impressed by a company's commitment to excellence and superb staff.

My daughter researched several vendors for her wedding and called three from her list. The first two were very pricey and seemed to have limited options for our price range. From the second we spoke to Veronica at Summit, I knew we had found the right place. She was beyond accommodating and worked hard to fit within our budget, yet still giving us many options to customize our event. She also worked with the rental company and bartenders, acting as a liaison to make things easier for us. We had to put everything together within a five month time frame, so we had to work very hard at being organized. Veronica's enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to handled even the smallest detail was so appreciated. The best compliment I can give Summit is that our guests raved about not only the taste of the food, but that it was hot when it reached the table. Many of our guests had attended other weddings where the pace of the meal and the temperature of the food were greatly lacking. Summit prepares the food "on site" so it is fresh, tasty and hot. Their staff is friendly, professional and very attentive. My younger daughter is getting married in June of 2015, and my call to Summit was the first one I made. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to cater an event. For the money and quality, you can't do better. (It should be noted that the total cost included all our rentals, bar and catering....everything!)

When my husband and I first started looking into food for our wedding we thought we’d be confined to the preferred caterer list of our venue, all of whom were outrageously expensive and a little uptight for our taste. Then our wedding planner suggested Summit, we met with Veronica (AKA Muscles) and we knew we’d found a needle in a haystack! We were stoked to find out that not only was Summit’s menu versatile and mouth watering (this from a couple who refer to themselves as Team Delicious), but amazingly they were less expensive than all the other caterers we’d looked at even with the buyout fee!!! Veronica really embraced putting our personalities and cultures into our menu, we had a Shrimp Etouffee (a nod to my Creole background) and Korean Street Tacos (a combo of my Korean angel’s and my Mexican background)...we even had a salad graciously named after me on the menu, which my hubby (a chef) makes me for me on a daily basis!!! I’m not surprised at the crazy amount of our guests who told us, “best food I’ve ever had at a wedding”...because it was!!!! It was incredible, the whole experience with Muscles and Summit was a dream! Not only was the food brilliant, Veronica a ball of infectious energy (truly a joy to be around, so much so that I want to be friends with her), their tasting offers you a chance to try 3 other couples’ menus so you can pick and choose (should you like another couple’s choices more than your own) and they even pack up leftovers for you to eat post wedding!!! Look into them yourself and I’m sure you’ll agree when I say Summit and Muscles are worth every penny!

I was frustrated in my search for a caterer for our unique geek-chic wedding. Not only did we want to incorporate a Star Wars theme to our food, but we wanted "breakfast for dinner" - waffles, bacon, omlette bar... the works. After talking to several caterers who just didn't get it, or even worse, tried to talk me out of it... the heavens opened up and brought me to Veronica at Summit. From the minute I started talking with her, I KNEW this was our catering company. Not only did she understand completely what we wanted, but she was SO EXCITED to work with us on every piece of it. From the menu to decor ideas, from KILLER appetizers (people are still talking about them) to our wedding pie for dessert (not a slice left), she worked with us to go beyond our wildest dreams of what our day could be, and somehow managed to keep it all in budget. Veronica even helped to manage our rentals to make sure everything was covered. And her team! They designed gorgeous and creative Star Wars-themed name cards for each item on the buffet, and the ham carving station server dressed up as a Jedi! They really went all out in every way imaginable. And every single person who helped with and/or attended our event was professional, fun and super sweet. And did I mention the food? HANDS DOWN the most delicious food we tasted. Everything is delicious and impeccable quality. Whether your wedding is a little wacky like ours, or elegant and traditional, you will not find better, more creative or caring people to work with than Veronica and Summit.

I cannot write a more glowing review for this company. Pam Aki is the absolute master at planning everything from food to set up at your wedding. She will keep you on track and remind you of important deadlines and things to do. She is so supportive and on top of things when the day comes! Not to mention the food, EVERYONE raved about how delicious it was and couldnt get enough! If you are having trouble finding a caterer, LOOK NO FURTHER!

Pam and the staff were wonderful and patient! They work with your budget and your taste. We had couples tasting and enjoyed it. It was nice that they had that so we could taste a variety of food. We loved a lot of the dishes and it was a little hard to make up our minds. I changed my menu so many times. Food and presentation was awesome! The service was consistently impeccable - from the time I requested a quote to after my wedding. Food was delicious! My guest raved about every course. Nothing was too much to ask - adding in addition heads at the last minuet, organizing the rentals, suggesting photographers, florists, videographers etc. I highly recommend Summit Events! A lucky girl can only dream of having the perfect wedding but I was fortunate to have my perfect wedding come to life. This was with the help of Summit Catering. My husband and I got married on a sunny afternoon at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. If you know downtown, most venues require you to use one of their preferred vendors but Vibiana allowed us to have an outside catering come in. We decided to use yelp to find our caterer and came across summit catering. We initially thought of having the 10 course family style asian cuisine, but wanted to give Summit a chance. I'm so glad we did. We met with the nicest, understanding person, Veronica. She invited us to a tasting with 5 other couples to try food that we have chosen as well as sample the food the other couples have chosen. It was good idea because everything that we tasted was delicious! Veronica made everything so simple. We gave her a budget and she stuck with it, always trying to give us the best bang for our buck. I couldn't have imagine my wedding without her. Summit catering is definitely a place you want to check out when it comes to catering services. Look for Veronica. She is small but mighty and she will make your perfect wedding come to life. I still get hungry when I think of the food that was served at my wedding. It was delicious!

I cannot say enough good things about Summit and yet, I don't even know where to begin. I suppose I'll start with Pam Aki, my event coordinator there. She is simply FANTASTIC! She is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind and warm. I don't know how I would have gotten through all the planning and details without her guidance. Summit provided me with comprehensive event coordination. Pam connected me with rental, linen, and drapery vendors that were within my budget. Since my husband was in law school at the time, our budget was very tight and I appreciated the fact that Pam never tried to upsell me on anything. We told her what we wanted, how much we could spend, and Pam gave us only what we asked for. Nothing more, nothing less. She always had solutions if we wanted to try this thing or that. She was very patient and adaptable since we continually changed our menu. However, my glowing feelings for Summit are not only directed at Pam. Everyone I worked with was just like her: professional, friendly, and on top of their game. And I mean everyone from the staff, other wedding coordinators, and the owner himself! My wedding went off without a hitch and all of my guests exclaimed how good the food was. If you're reading this, stop looking. Summit is all you need.

When first deciding which caterer to go with, it was a hard decision and many seemed reputable, but I am SOO happy that I went with Summit! Veronica gave me exactly what I wanted, worked with my budget, and we had zero problems that night. Food tasted amazing, the servers were extremely nice, and many guests were raving on about how awesome the food was. I paid full out early on so I was able to receive some promotional discounts which was awesome. I would definitely recommend Summit to any bride.

Ok where do I start!!! Well first and for most there food is amazing and they have a large variety on the menu so don't be afraid to ask. Second Veronica Medrano the Event Specialist who worked with me is a phenomenal person. She made the experience less stressful and helped me with anything and everything. If I had a silly question she informed me it wasn't silly and answered it. How can you go wrong. The company it's self is very professional and a great company. If I had to do it again I would a 1000 times with them and Veronica!!!! I have had nothing but compliments on how wonderful the food was the day of my wedding and people are still talking about it. Oh and the most important part they are super affordable and will help fit your budget just let them know. Well I hope my review has been helpful! Pam Aki and her team at Summit Event Catering did a great job at our wedding. The food was delicious, we are still getting compliments on how tasty all of it was. They made planning fun and simple. We will continue to reccommend them. We were truly satisfied.

Not to mention, we found our gorgeous venue through her as well as ALL our vendors. Talk about having a world class team for our wedding! Everything went flawlessly: on schedule and according to plan. Their food is also fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for more from a catering company. They went way above and beyond what was required to make sure our day went perfectly. Our wedding is a day I will always remember and I will never forget that it was thanks to Veronica that everything turned out the way it did. I absolutely adore her! You would be crazy not to hire her for your wedding! Just pick up the phone and call her… you will see exactly what I’m talking about! Impeccable service and you can always reach her—night or day.

Wedding catering is all about the service, and Summit did a great job. They were affordable, punctual, and provided excellent food. Many guests commented on the quality of the food. They also do an amazing coffee bar, and drink service. Once we hired Summit, they handled everything that would be expected of a caterer, and we didn't have to worry about them. We personally worked with Pam at Summit, and we were very happy with her.

When we hired Summit Events for our daughter’s wedding a month ago, we had so many questions and much anxiety about having an “at-home wedding” – parking, food choices, numbers of tables and chairs, settings, overall layout, sequence of events, etc. However, when we met with Pam, she put our minds at ease. Her confidence and experience was so reassuring. Where and how to park all of our guests was one of our biggest concerns. Pam quickly addressed this issue, provided options and gave us a recommendation for a Shuttle service even before we booked Summit Events - we were so impressed by her willingness to help. Once we decided to go with Summit Events, we were continually “wowed.” Pam handled everything---she came to our house for a walk-thru and we were all able to envision how things “would actually work.” She developed the timeline, determined the number of cooks and servers, ordered the rentals of tables, linens, glass and flatware, and coordinated the bartender service. We also loved the way Summit Events conducts their food tasting. Combined with other couples pending food decisions, Summit served a variety of appetizer, entree, side dish and dessert options. It was so helpful to taste even more than we chose, so we could amend our menu if desired. Throughout the process, Pam was on top of everything. She was always there when we needed her and she answered every question - big or small. We especially appreciated her personal touch and the many time-saving and money-saving ideas she offered. On the day of our wedding, the event crew was fantastic. They were all professionals and obviously an experienced “wedding team.” The presentation and quality of the menu items were beyond expectation. Since the team used propane grills to prepare the food on site, it was fresh and cooked to perfection. The fillets were marvelous. The serving staff was also so very helpful and attentive - our guests felt special. We’re still getting compliments for the food and service. As a bonus, our leftovers were nicely wrapped and placed in our fridge. The lovely touches - the cucumber water and the coffee bar with GREAT coffee – and the incredible tray-passed appetizers (ahi on cucumber, tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich wedge) were over-the-top! By the end of our perfect-wedding-day, the serving staff had everything cleaned and packed-up so fast…It felt like they left with the last guest. Sincere thanks to Pam and the amazing staff at Summit Events. We will forever remember this wonderful day. Everything was perfect. Our daughter said it best when she looked at us and said, “This was so great; can we do it again?”

Veronica Medrano couldn't have done a more sensational job of bringing all our vendors together to make this wedding a night to remember. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, warm, efficient, and dressed in appropriate serving attire. They stuck to the time line. Summit gave us a discount if we used the vendors they like to work with. Other event companies often insisted we use their vendors often at as much as a 30% up charge, which would have been more of our money in their pocket for no reason.

We totally recommend Summit Events and Pam! They were amazing to work with and really went above and beyond for us. We had specific food dishes that we wanted, and given the recipe they made our favorite pasta dish for our wedding. Pam was wonderful to work with, she was responsive and had wonderful attention to detail. I never worried about her team knowing she was in charge. We went through some permitting issues with where decided to get married (public beach), and she stepped into assist us smooth out those issues. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how delicious it was! With summit events, you get above and beyond what you would expect!

Summit Event Catering came last minute because the Caterer we hired was a total mess. Summit Event Catering worked within our budget they helped us make a menu that would please our guests. Pam with event coordinating even came to the location day of to make sure everything was going just fine. She was a big relief and help on our big day. The food was perfect. People still can't stop raving. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. simply perfect!!!

I loved my caterer Summit Events! Especially my coordinator Veronica Medrano. She was amazing! She helped me organize my food, made great suggestions and even sat with me on the tasting because my fiance was working the evening of the tasting. (he is a fireman and duty called) It was like having my best friend next to me when I really needed one! Then she came over one week before the suprise wedding and helped us figure out set up, displays and even helped me figure out make up. I never experienced someone so down to earth. I can truely say she was is a great event coordiator and she made me feel very important and special. The night of the engagement party/surprise wedding, Veronica was here to set up and take down. She even fixed a cake disaster when someone accidently put their fist though the cake. She was quick to cover up the fist hole with white roses we had in a vase near by. That was amazing! The cake actually looked better after she fixed it than it did when it arrived untouched. I stay in touch with her periodically because people like this are hard to find. I know she is super special and God spend a whole lot of time on this amazing woman. Summit is lucky to have her! and we were lucky to have chosen Summit and Veronica Medrano!

We went through an exhaustive process to get the best value from all our wedding vendors, especially the caterer. We wanted to find that right balance of quality versus value, and sent out bids to over 10 caterers. At the end of the long process, Summit was left standing as the best in price for the type of affordable quality we were looking for, which was wonderful, because.... It didn't take a lengthy process for Veronica to be our clear-cut favorite wedding vendor. From the moment she called me less than 10 minutes after I submitted my contact information online, I knew I wanted to work with her. Right off the bat I told her the price we were looking for, which I suspected was unrealistic for a good steak dinner. She enthusiastically said she could do it, and had me totally hooked on her energy and can-do attitude by the time I hung up the phone. That first call was no bait-and-switch. While other vendors might try to steer us away from some of our wishes, Veronica embraced virtually every suggestion and found a way to make it a reality. This built a great confidence and trust between us. On the few occasions when she did express concerns, we knew they came from an honest place and adjusted accordingly. Veronica has worked in or on the periphery of the wedding industry for many more years than her age would suggest. She knows what can be done and what can't be done, and yet is open to new ideas. Usually such experience comes with a degree of close mindedness; not with Veronica. I find it hard to believe that any other wedding contributor has the perfect mix of experience, enthusiasm, pragmatism, flexibility, toughness, and humility that Veronica offers. She helped our wedding exceed our dreams, never making us feel she was steering us toward her vision. Years from now, I'm guessing that Veronica services will be a big-ticket cost addition to any wedding, and she'll deserve every penny. We count ourselves as very fortunate to have come across her while her invaluable contributions still come at a great price through Summit. If you need someone to lean on to ensure that your big day is a success, I highly recommend Veronica Medrano.

I'm so glad I went with Summit as the caterer for our wedding. Communicating with Pam and finally meeting up for a tasting was fun and enjoyable. They do a family style tasting which is so much fun and entertaining. (I went for a tasting w/ another caterer and it was boring and over with in 30-minutes.) At Summit, the tasting lasted almost 2 hours and there were other brides there tasting items from their menu. It makes the whole experience really great because you can taste items off other bride's menus and switch up anything that you might like more. On the day of the event, even with the lack of lighting, the catering crew did a wonderful job. The food was amazing. All my guests were raving about it. Unfortunately I don't remember the food much because of anxiety. Cleanup at the private location was a bit hit and miss since the home didn't have enough lights but the crew did their best. I wish we had more leftovers though but it seem to have all disappeared. Not sure what happened with that one there. But overall, I highly recommend Summit for all event catering. You won't be disappointed.

On June 18, 2011, Sonia and I had the best time of our lives getting married in Diamond Bar, California. We had our wedding in October catered by Summit Catering. Veronica Medrano was our catering coordinator. We got numerous compliments on the food and service from our guests. Not only was the food great but Veronica went above and beyond to make sure our day was special and perfect. We strongly recommend her to anyone. We trust her and would definately use her again.

We were married July 16, 2011. Pam and her team were the best. They arrived early in Long Beach aboard the Catalina Classics cruise boat. They took care of everything. The food was delicious and the guests had more than enough to eat. They were very courteous & went out of the way to serve and be very friendly. I recommend them highly!

I don't think there enough words to describe how wonderful Summit is. From the moment I first emailed them up through the wedding, they were a pleasure to work with. Our contact was Pam Aki and she was so enthusiastic and helpful. She seemed so excited for us and that came through. Summit was great and was willing to find ways to stick within our budget which was greatly appreciated. We had a private tasting which was fabulous. The day of the wedding, Pam graciously arrived early with our linens so we would have more time to setup . The food was so delicious and all of the staff was helpful and courteous.
