ever been a part of. We have been involved in several wedding and Sunflower hill wins by a mile. Having so many decorative options included in the price offers a great value as well. Emily is an extremely effective communicator and reached out to us multiple times throughout the process asking for details, or giving updates. Every time we contacted her she always responded quickly as well. The wedding venue itself was fantastic. You can tell that Emily takes great pride in the aesthetic of the grounds, and did a fantastic job with all the small details. The landscaping is meticulously cared for, and she transitioned from summer flowers, to a fall aesthetic seamlessly and made our fall wedding gorgeous. ///I'll elaborate below for people that may be on the fence. Emily was so amazing to work with we felt that we owe her a proper review. The formatting for the review system on the knot is horrendous, so I will make an attempt to make this long review readable./// ***Stress Reduction*** This is the part of working with Emily that we cannot get over. It is the thing that everyone in our wedding party and anyone who helped us set-up/breakdown talks about. Emily has a pull barn of items to use as center pieces. She has the tables, table cloths, runner, antlers, lanterns, tree biscuits, decorative boxes for cards, easels for signs, and dozens of things that you will personally not have to bring. This adds so much value and covenience, as now you don't have to purchase all these items you'll never use again. After going in for a consultation, and choosing your aesthetic she will put together all of the tables, set up all of the centerpieces and arrange them how you want. The morning of the wedding we showed up with the wedding party to set up, but 99% of everything was already done exactly the way we had talked about. Normally we would expect to set up for a couple hours, while juggling the other vendors that need help. But having this already set up for us, was a massive help. It allowed us to focus on getting ready, feeling comfortable, and enjoying the day. In total, we spent less than an hour setting up and breaking down our wedding. And it was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We cannot convey enough how EASY Emily makes your wedding day/night. ***The Grounds:*** It is easy to tell that Emily enjoys what she does. The time and dedication taken to offer multiple different aesthetics depending on where you are on the property is obvious. It offers several unique opportunities for your photographer to choose from to help get photos that fit any wedding color scheme. Our wedding was in the fall, and while the summer colors had since faded. Emily did not disappoint with a transition to a fall theme. The reception hall itself comes with a barn-style aesthetic with little to no extra decoration required. It has two brand new bathrooms, and it also offers a kitchen area with coolers included for your bartenders to work from. The on-grounds house, is well maintained and refurbished. It was the perfect spot to get ready, and should you decide to rent it Friday it is comfortable and accommodating for the wedding party.

From the incredibly well kept and beautiful flower beds and property to helping us create amazing table centerpieces using her garage of beautiful materials, to being there to support behind the scenes the whole time on our wedding day. I am so grateful for Emily and Sunflower Hill for making our wedding so special. We had all our flowers done by Emily and they were all incredible. Gorgeous bouquets, centerpieces, aisle accents. We got so many compliments! Emily also used extra flowers to decorate the house which was such a special touch. We LOVED getting to stay on the property for the whole weekend with our bridal party. Our guests loved that the cows came out during the ceremony. Thank you so much Emily for sharing your beautiful venue with us. We are incredibly grateful and could not recommend it enough!

Getting to stay at the cottage onsite with the wedding party and having access to the grounds and barn all weekend was perfect (we did our rehearsal dinner there Friday night, wedding Saturday, and even a casual brunch on Sunday before check-out). Emily also did fabulous florals for the event, including the most incredible flower crown, and *all* of it was ridiculously inexpensive. As soon as folks started arriving for the rehearsal on Friday, they couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the entire site was, from the sunflower field (which Emily said was struggling but magically bloomed plenty of flowers for our weekend!), to the eucalyptus botanicals in the barn, to the multiple outdoor gathering spaces. The whole weekend Emily was quietly making sure everything went incredibly smoothly, both with and without the help of our coordinator. I have to toot my own horn and share that *many* people told us it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended, and that was in no small part due to the gorgeous setting and attention to small details that Emily ensured all weekend. The entire grounds had enormous and thriving flowers planted all over and it was so special to be there with all my loved ones. Emily was also incredibly communicative throughout the whole planning process and I wouldn't have done a thing differently if I had to do it again. I could write a novel about how glad I am that we chose Sunflower Hill for our wedding. My partner and I were discussing what special thing we could do for our 10th anniversary and decided to get married. The only thing I'd ever dreamed about having at my wedding was a sunflower field and Sunflower Hill was the first (and only) venue we visited. The details and deal were all too good to pass up and I'm confident we made the right call. If you're considering this venue, stop considering and book it and enjoy the most magical time of your life! I'm already looking forward to getting everyone back together at Sunflower Hill for our 20th anniversary in 2033 :)
