Sunriver Resort

We can't say enough good things about Sunriver Resort as a wedding venue! The staff was incredibly warm, professional, and supportive from start to finish, which we were really appreciative of. They took care of things I hadn't even considered and were responsive whenever I reached out with questions. The day of the wedding was a breeze because everything was taken care of and the Sunriver team was calm, prepared, and professional. Our guests gushed about the food provided throughout the wedding weekend and were struck by the beautiful and serene environment of the resort. We were so happy with our wedding experience at Sunriver Resort and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking!

We have nothing but good things to say about Sunriver Resort! The staff was incredibly attentive to every detail, we felt supported along the way with planning our wedding, Sunriver recommended great vendors to work with, and the event was absolutely perfect. We had our wedding ceremony outside on the Bachelor Lawn and the reception in the Great Hall. The wedding day was colder than expected, and the Sunriver staff was at the ready to move the ceremony indoors if needed. We had heaters set up outside at the last minute and it all worked out beautifully. We also had the rehearsal dinner/welcome reception planned outside but had to move indoors at the last minute due to rain, and the Sunriver staff made Plan B work out seamlessly. Everyone we worked with was friendly, professional, and so patient with all of our questions along the planning process. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from guests about how great the venue was.

Our daughter and her husband were married on the Mt. Bachelor Lawn and a reception followed in The Great Hall. Not only was the venue spectacular, but the guidance and support of the Sunriver Catering Services Manager, Lynne Cahill and her staff were beyond amazing. We could not be more thrilled with our decision to have the wedding at Sunriver Resort. The Great Hall is naturally so beautiful and when you combine that with great food, staff attention to detail, excellent communication from Lynne and the amenities of a world class resort I can't think of a better place to host a wedding.

My husband and I were married at Sunriver on the Mt Bachelor Lawn with our reception in the Great Hall and we could not be happier about how our wedding went! The venue was so stunning and they were able to fulfill every request we had. The food was actually amazing and so was the bar. Wendy and Ally were both really lovely to work with and we always felt that we were in capable hands. It was just a blast having our friends and family all converge in beautiful Sunriver and get to enjoy the scenery and property with us for the weekend. There really was something for every single guest to enjoy. We wouldn't change a thing!

It was an absolute pleasure to receive a venue tour from Kelly S. She answered every question we threw her way with ease, was timely in her coordination and communication, and was patient and accommodating with our accidental lateness. While we didn't end up moving forward with the location, favoring something closer to home in California, I can only imagine how pleasant it would be to work with her and the staff at Sunriver, as her hosting was flawless in execution.

I couldn’t be more glad that we had our wedding at Sunriver Resort. I was grateful to be working with them from the start, but when the pandemic started, I became even more so. They took such great care of us and were so understanding of what we were going through. We had several conversations with Lindsay and Lynne while we were trying to decide how to handle it, and they were nothing but supportive. When we decided to postpone, they made the transition painless, and from there working with Lynne was awesome. She was so helpful answering all of our questions and coming up with creative solutions and back up plans. She helped us deal with the uncertainty and constant change that came with planning a wedding during a pandemic. I could tell she genuinely cared about our wedding and was dedicated to making sure it was wonderful. When the day came, the venue was gorgeous, the food was amazing (everyone raved about it), and everything was done safely and smoothly. They are so on top of safety protocols that we didn’t have to worry about anything, but at the same time none of the safety measures took away from the experience of our wedding. The staff were all friendly and professional and everything went wonderfully. I’m so grateful for everyone at Sunriver who worked on our wedding and for how well the team is handling pandemic weddings in general. I can’t recommend them enough!

My daughter and her fiance chose Sunriver pre-pandemic because of the beautiful Great Hall and the excellent reviews of the food. We contracted for a November 2020 wedding. Several weeks later COVID surfaced as a commonly understood threat and, well, the rest is history! A history we are still living! Over the following year, Lynne Cahill and the staff at Sunriver worked with us, guided us, supported us, contemplated with us, commiserated with us, and shared our journey through the unknown to the ultimate rescheduled wedding on March 13, 2021. Along the way, there were so many changes, so many uncertainties, so many decisions to be made and made again as the COVID situation shifted. Although we couldn't have known what was to come, I am profoundly grateful that we chose Sunriver as our venue. My daughter and I always felt that Lynne and the staff were working with us as a team and had our backs. They were adaptable, responsive, creative, level-headed, and up-to-date on current COVID regulations and trends. As our family struggled through the year, our constant mantra was "Thank goodness we're working with Sunriver!" The well-considered and implemented safety protocols meant that our limited number of guests felt secure at the venue and on site. While the confident, and positive attitude of the staff created a relaxed atmosphere. Structural elements and protocols required for safety are stylishly implemented, minimizing any sense of compromise or oppression. The result was that my daughter managed to have the "wedding of her dreams", despite all of the alterations and adjustments! The guests raved about the food, complimented the smooth flow and seamless organization of the evening, and reported having a fantastic time! And for the bride and groom, the staff has multiple special touches in place to make them feel taken care of and special. The reviews on the internet make clear that Sunriver is an excellent wedding venue, which is why we chose them. But to be able to maintain that excellence during a year such as this last one is an impressive accomplishment. We will be forever grateful for our choice and to Lynne and the staff for helping to create such a fantastic experience and memory for my daughter, her groom, and our family and friends.

Wedding Perfection! Everyone has experienced the craziness of 2020; however, Lynne and the wonderful staff at Sunriver Resort made my daughter and her new husband forget all that for one day on November 2, 2020. My daughter had planned to get married in Yosemite National Park on June 18 and then November 2 in Yosemite. When it became obvious that couldn’t happen we changed venues last minute to the “The Great Hall” at the Sunriver Resort in October. Lynne and the staff not only made this possible last minute, they made it perfect! My daughter and her husband describe the day as unforgettably perfect. It was truly their dream wedding day. I can’t say enough about how accommodating, flexible and easy the staff was to work with. This is a beautiful venue with incredible staff. I honestly couldn’t make a constructive improvement suggestion since everything was incredible. Thank you Lynne, Alli and the rest of the staff at Sunriver Resort!

Sunriver Resort held special significance to my daughter and her fiancé because they had individually vacationed there growing up. We are from out of state but knew the Great Hall, with its rustic beauty, was the perfect setting the moment we walked in. We started secretly plotting with Sheila even before the engagement happened! In all it was a 2.5 year journey to the wedding date and we got to know the venue and staff well along the way. From day one they immediately responded to all our crazy questions and special requests. They helped us plan not only the wedding day but the entire week! They made time for us every time we came into town to vacation and plan for the big day. When COVID hit and our plans needed to change, Sunriver staff helped us navigate all the challenges. While we were all in unchartered waters and businesses were hurting, Sunriver only became more generous and remained 100% client focused. We were particularly struck by their compassion, constant up-front communication, flexibility, creativity, concern for our guests, and outstanding working relationship with our vendors. They were personally invested in creating the experience my daughter dreamed of, even if it needed to look a little different than where we started. With all the curve balls thrown our way, the wedding week was magic, and it would not have happened without the personal commitment of Lynne, Lindsay, McCauly, Wendy, Liz, every reservation agent and the entire Sunriver staff. We are eternally grateful! As we drove away from the resort the day after the wedding, I opened my coffee cup from Starbucks to find a heart in the foam, and I smiled at the gesture! Everyone gave us the VIP treatment til the day we left, and we will miss our connection to them. The Sunriver team feels like part of our family, and we will look forward to celebrating more life events at Sunriver.

We were married at The Great Hall of the Sunriver Resort on 10/10/2020 and it was absolutely everything we could have hoped for. We felt so taken care of from the staff, specifically our day-of coordinator Lynne. Lynne went above and beyond to make sure that everything went according to plan. She was always thinking ahead and was ready to tackle any details that we'd forgotten about. She let us fully embrace the chaos of the wedding week without feeling any stress or panic. She is a saint.

We cannot say enough about Sunriver Resort and every team member there who helped our wedding go off without a single hitch. We were originally supposed to get married in May of 2020 and ultimately end up postponing our day till October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. First, when originally planning our wedding, Sunriver was a dream. Gorgeous venue. Kind, hardworking people. Amazing food. We were so wildly excited. When we had to postpone, Sunriver was so incredibly gentle, flexible and truly cared about us being able to have the most wonderful day possible. The re-planning with Sunriver was seamless. Finally, when October arrived, Sunriver bent over backwards to make our day perfect and make everyone feel comfortable. Their policies about masks, handwashing, social distancing were completely appropriate and enforced but the way they executed these policies did not for one second infringe on our perfect day. Even in spaces where plexi-glass was necessary, it was still made to look beautiful and natural. Our wedding was perfect. The venue was unbelievable, the food and drinks were raved about by all guests, and every member of the Sunriver team that contributed to our day, was so kind, hardworking and patient with us. We cannot recommend Sunriver Resort enough. In very weird times, they gave us the best, most beautiful day we could have ever imagined. We are so thankful and will look back on pictures and videos of our day at Sunriver with so much love.

The year of 2020 proved Sunriver Resort as a "Shining Star" venue to have a wedding, especially a Covid wedding!!! They delivered above a "10 out of 10" wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. Their May 23rd wedding was postponed and moved to October 18th due to Covid. During such an uncertain time every conversation we had with Lynne Cahail she had our best interest in mind. She was trustworthy, reliable, optimistic and willing to think outside the box with Covid protocol to create a safe venue for all attendees. Lynne held our hand the entire way and brought her clam, positive, can-do attitude to create their incredible wedding. It was such a magical weekend and wedding! If you want a beautiful wedding that will exceed your wildest expectations and has all the Covid protocol in place, Sunriver is your venue!! The beautiful Great Hall and Bachelor Lawn were a perfect backdrop for our wedding and reception. The appetizers and dinners they prepared were excellent. Our friends and family are still talking about what an incredible time they had in Sunriver over the weekend of October 18, 2020!! Lynne, wish we could do it all over again with you! :)

It was the best day ever of my life !!! The service was amazing, and all staff member are polite. Lynne help me so much with the coordination of the event, and understanding how everything works. They are very organized and professional. The best thing is, that Lynne and the staff member will help you feel less stress on your big day. In the middle of these difficult times, the wedding flowed naturally. This is an amazing place to create memories that will last for ever! My extended family, my family and I are very happy with how everything work out. We appreciate we were able to celebrate the wedding this year. Thank you!

Wow!! We got married in Sunriver on 9.26.20. Best decision ever! The venue was Beautiful. We got married on the outside lawn and had a reception side the great hall. It was drop dead beautiful. Since our original wedding was canceled (thanks Covid) we had a micro wedding with just family and it was the best day ever. The staff was unbelievably helpful and nice. Wendy our coordinator was out of this world helpful. Due to smoke I had another panic and she assured me we would have a great backup plan I was comfortable with. She texted me day of saying the sweetest message and it was just such a joy to work with her. Helpful, knowledgeable, you name it she was it! I had the best day ever at the Sunriver Great Hall and I would 12/10 recommend this venue to anyone!! Thank you Sunriver staff!!

Wendy, Jena, and Sunriver Resort were just unbelievably fantastic! COVID weddings are quite the task to try and take on, we pivoted to Sunriver resort just 2 months before our wedding and Wendy/Sunriver took us in with open arms and helped make the best day of our lives happen without a single hitch. We felt like we were asking a lot of Wendy as we went through the process (and we probably were!!) and Wendy always got back to us with a smile and a solution. We were able to make our wedding happen because of Wendy and we can't express enough how thankful we are. Can't wait to visit in years to come and look back on what an incredible day it was.

Sunriver and Wendy specifically will be apart of our memories forever. We planned for wedding day and had everything booked before Covid-19 hit. With so much uncertainty, Sunriver did everything to keep us informed and they knew things. We continued with our wedding as planned and Wendy went above and beyond to bring what could have been a Covid-19 stressful wedding and made it into one of the most magical day ever! Our family and friends saw what a beautiful and organized day they created for us, was brought to life. They saw the joy in my Husbands and my eye as we first saw everything decorated and laid out, to dancing on the dance floor with friends and eating s’mores outside (highly recommend adding this - adults and kids LOVED this!). We look forward to coming back to Sunriver in the future years, one day with our children and showing them the gorgeous location in which my Husband and I said I do. Sunriver and Wendy Collins made our day even more perfect than we planned.

Working with Sunriver during a pandemic was a breeze! Lynne was great with all of my questions and concerns with how to handle a wedding during a pandemic, whether that be new restrictions from governor or lifting restrictions! We all felt very safe with the staff, they allowed us to set up table decor the day before so that we could enjoy the process the day of. It was an amazing location and extremely beautiful, I could not recommend them more! It definitely exceeded my expectations & my husband and I had the absolute best wedding day, thank you!

Sunriver was amazing to work with! This was our dream wedding location, as we wanted a winter wedding in a beautiful lodge where our family and friends could be accommodated. They helped us make it happen. They were incredibly easy to work with, responsive with communications prior to the wedding and worked seamlessly with our vendors. They even provided me with a list of local favorite vendors which helped me get started with my wedding planning. The location is beautiful and could not have been more perfect for us! We had our wedding in January, so the ceremony and reception were in The Great Hall. After the ceremony we had a cocktail hour out in the lobby/ outside, and magically the staff turned the Great Hall over for our reception without anyone even noticing. Overall, I would highly recommend Sunriver!

Having a wedding during a pandemic might sound a little bit crazy, and it actually might be! But, Lynne and her staff at Sunriver Resort helped my wife & I have the absolute most perfect wedding day in August 2020. We are very organized and detail oriented people, and Lynne met all of our needs. She communicated with us when we needed, and she was on top of every little detail to make our day perfect. The location is unbeatable, the backdrops are gorgeous, and the staff is all so friendly. We got rave reviews from our guests about the food! Everyone loved the food and the portions were huge! The venue works very well with local vendors. They all tend to know each other well and work in unison. We would 1000% recommend being married at Sunriver Resort, and working directly with Lynne was such a joy! Thanks Lynne for helping our day be as perfect as possible with the limitations of COVID-19.

Can I leave a 10 star rating??? Working with Sunriver, specifically Lynne and Wendy, was the BEST experience! My daughter's COVID wedding planning was filled with a roller coaster of emotions. Sunriver staff were the one constant of calmness and flexibility during the whole thing. Sunriver helped us plan many different wedding scenarios. Each time we had to go back to the drawing board to revamp plans due to new restrictions/ lightened restrictions etc, Sunriver was eager to help, were super flexible and so amazing to work with. The end result was an amazing COVID friendly wedding that exceeded even our pre-COVID expectations. Sunriver will treat you like family! We were beyond pleased with EVERY detail being attended to, little surprises here and there, the joyful attitudes of all staff involved and the overall flexibility and teamwork attitude displayed to pull off an amazing pandemic wedding. Don't look any further for a venue!

Lynne and her team at the SR Lodge were fantastic and helped us navigate having a SAFE outdoor wedding during COVID-19. Sunriver truly went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel comfortable during these unprecedented times - taking special seating requests from guests, helping us with custom seating charts to ensure safety during the ceremony and meal service, etc. Lynne personally went above and beyond to help with last minute details, was a tremendous help on the big day, and went out of her way to make sure the wedding came together beautifully. The rest of her team and the servers on the night of our wedding were also incredibly kind and helpful.

Getting married in the middle of a pandemic seems crazy. In fact, there were many people who told my now husband and I that we should just postpone our wedding or would bet that our wedding would get cancelled altogether. One of our biggest supporters for seeing our day through was the staff at Sunriver Resort. I got married on Mt. Bachelor lawn and had the reception in the Great Hall and it was everything I hoped and dreamed it would be after almost two years of wedding planning. Throughout the course of the beginning of the pandemic, Sunriver was encouraging and supportive about seeing our plans through and communicating with us what changes needed to be made in order for us to get married in the way we wanted while still complying to the governor's ever-changing mandates. Being a bride in a pandemic is scary but my wedding was still beautiful and everything I would have hoped -- pandemic or not. This happened because of the classic beauty of the venue but also the incredible staff.

Sunriver blew us away with the most perfect wedding! The Great Hall and surrounding areas are so beautiful. Lynne and her team were very flexible and helped us plan and change details to match our needs. Day-of, everything went flawlessly and everyone was so kind and helpful. Food was fantastic and all our guests keep raving about the day! We would absolutely recommend Sunriver to anyone!

Sunriver Resort Great Hall was the ultimate dream place to get married. I had searched all over the PNW for a lodge that was as elegant and beautiful as the Great Hall. It was really nice that Sunriver does so many weddings because it went very smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing!! They have cabins all over the resort that can hold 10-20 people which was really great for my family and bridal party. The only downside was how expensive it was. We chose Sunriver and decided that we could afford the $105/plate. However not included in their pricing was the 24% service charge. So take that into account when budgeting if you can afford this place, because it added probably $4,000 onto the cost. The food/drink was by far the most expensive part of my wedding. If i had to do it again I would definitely choose Sunriver. You can't beat the beauty of the great hall and all the services on the resort.

This was a beautiful venue but exactly as someone said below they will charge you for anything and everything. They had horrible customer service once they had us locked in. There’s no great room for getting ready in, no privacy, the room where the men hangout and get ready is is technically available for anyone to barge into. This is also a room that people place wedding gifts and cards in. During the wedding we had $1000 worth of items stolen from that room. One being a wedding gift to my husband. No one cared to do anything about that but you better believe they cared to try to charge us for anything possible. Our food was also supposed be placed in our room and the staff placed it in the wrong room so after the wedding we had to spend an hour and try to track down our food. I could go on about the disappointment but I highly recommend to stay away from this place as a wedding venue. It’s beautiful, great food, but beyond over priced and greedy people running that place.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and our day was perfect but they have to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They went weeks without responding to emails, never fully explained charges to us, and charged for EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine. I can’t begin to explain how disheartening it is to feel this way about the place where you got married. It has now been a month since our wedding and we are still dealing with them and incorrect invoices. I don’t want to be the angry person who writes one terrible review but I’m writing this because I wish someone would have told me how it was going to be. We would have gone somewhere else. On a positive note, it is a very beautiful venue and the food is delicious.

The Sunriver Resort staff was incredible. Every one of them was exceptionally professional and willing to help any way possible. They were kind and eager to meet our needs. The event ran so smoothly and on time, I was so impressed. Every detail was talked about ahead of time. I could not have asked for more, they are very good at what they do!

Absolutely gorgeous venue! Delicious food! Great service! Wonderful communication! Updated facilities! Biggest Downfall: You must stay at their hotel yet the rooms are not promised until 6 PM. This means all of your out of town guests can't get their room before the wedding to get dressed and ready.

Our wedding was better than ever imaginable! The Great Hall is the most beautiful setting for an indoor ceremony and/or reception. Annie and the entire Sunriver team were great from start to finish. They went above and beyond to be sure that every detail was perfect and that we were happy. All of our guest had a wonderful time and keep gushing about how great the food was. We are so happy we chose Sunriver for our special day!

If you are looking for an amazing and beautiful venue, Sunriver is it! It had been my dream to get married in the Great Hall since I was a kid and it came true. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was amazing and made sure everything was taken care of. If anything went wrong on the day of the wedding, I didn't know it. Our coordinator answered e-mails quickly and made sure everything was what I expected or more. On the night of the wedding the servers cleared tables quickly and kept wine glasses full. The food! I could not say enough about the food! We did a buffet style and everyone wanted to go back for seconds, but were too full. It was hot for everyone and the two lines moved 150 people through very quickly. I wished my dress wasn't so tight so I could eat more! Sunriver made my dream wedding come true. They are worth every penny! People are still talking about how amazing our wedding was months later.

We were so happy with the quality of service at Sunriver Resort! All of our guests had an amazing time exploring the resort. The Great Hall is such a stunning reception venue, it was a no-brainer while we were touring different reception sites. The food was outstanding and the wedding package seems to include everything you need for a fantastic evening, even the honeymoon suite! The only real complaints about the resort that I received were the high cost of bike rentals and the unreliability of the shuttle during busy times. The lodging minimum that we had to reach was also kind of outrageous since most people at Sunriver like to rent houses and stay together. We ended up having to upgrade some of our guests and ask close family to book extra nights in order to meet the 8k minimum (only 66 guests).

Sunriver was amazing, we got married in the Great Hall- which really can't be beat.
