The wedding packages Sunset Ranch offers made planning from the mainland easier than we expected. The rate was also comparable to what we'd have to pay if we sourced each vendor individually. We were also able to customize the package so the wedding felt like our own -- we got desserts from Liliha Bakery and had a friend officiate. Greg was easy to work with and the invoicing process went smoothly. Jonah, our coordinator, was amazing! She's very organized and thoughtful. She answered our (many) questions and helped us think through all the details in advance so we could really just enjoy the wedding day. We were able to truly be present with our family and friends on our wedding day in large part thanks to Jonah, Greg, and the Sunset Ranch team. It was such a special, fun day that we'll remember forever. We are so grateful!

BOOK SUNSET RANCH. It’s the ultimate destination venue in Oahu! You have the scenic views of the ocean and the most breathtaking sunset you will ever see! Now onto the details: - Packages: one of its selling point. Having a destination wedding can be very intimidating. We didn’t exactly know where to start, what vendors to use, etc. With their packages, you will not have to worry about any of that! - Coordinator: from the moment you secure the venue to the very end of the wedding. Special shoutout to Jonah who was our coordinator. She guided us through this process for almost a year! She truly loves what she does and has such amazing energy! She was realistic with costs, made creative suggestions to help with the budget from the beginning to the end. She went above and beyond with her team especially on our actual wedding day! She made sure we had more than we even asked for! All we had to do was enjoy our wedding day all thru the very last second of it! - Venue Staff: Wow! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about them. Thank you to Sheila who took care of my husband and I and made sure all our needs were met from the moment our ceremony was over to the entirety of the reception. Special shoutout to Chryssa also for running around last minute for things we needed for the ceremony! Bar staff - what a great night you gave us! Many moments shared around you and memories to forever remember (or not). AMAZING TEAM! - Caterer: We had Chef Elmer Island Cuisine and we’ve only heard great things from our guests about our food! Jonah made sure to coordinate our food tasting months before our wedding. Honestly, we couldn’t even pick. Everything was so good! Also, that lechon(roasted pig) was the winner of the night! Way to impress many of our guests! - DJ/MC: planning with DJ GabStop made it all so seamless! He sent us an app where he had every part of the wedding organized and all we had to do was answer questions and drop in our song requests! He also took care of our monogram projection, which was a nice little touch to our outdoor tent! - Florals: Wylder Florals. Perfection. Thank you Cortney for being so patient throughout the whole process and for going above and beyond with making all our floral needs so beautiful! Cortney surprised us with some additional arrangements the morning of our wedding and my heart just kept filling up with so much gratitude. Her energy is amazing! We loved everything you created and I am still in awe of how creative you are! - Officiant: Pastor Mark couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding. My jaw dropped when he came in a barong (traditional Filipino top) without us knowing! He was so kind and accommodating with personalizing our ceremony to include traditional and religious aspects to it. Our ceremony was everything we wanted plus more. We are from the mainland and wedding planning was not easy. Everything was done remotely. We planned our wedding for 15 months and Ronda was our coordinator. Ronda ensured that she can accommodate time differences, meetings, and answered our emails in a timely manner. She is such an expert and we were so lucky to be assigned to her. She matched us very well with vendors that she thought will bring our vision to life. She told us how we can save some money by eliminating elements we probably won't find useful and we were glad we listened to her. Every vendor that she picked for us did their very best and it proves by showing how much our guests loved everything! The day of our wedding, Ronda was running left and right making sure timeline goes smoothly. Although there was hiccup with following our original timeline (very common in weddings), she made last minute adjustments and everything still went smoothly. She and her team made magic happen! For us, the selling point was Sunset Ranch & Greg’s focus on sustainability, Hawaiian land preservation, community outreach, and supporting local businesses. As soon as we booked this venue, we were introduced to Alia (our wedding planner). Alia was amazing! She was incredibly organized and quick to respond to all questions via email/text. Since we knew absolutely nothing about wedding planning, Alia patiently walked us through the details and made the whole process unbelievably easy and stress free. She was transparent about the price breakdown and allowed us to customize our package to have our dream wedding at an affordable price. Thanks to the team at Sunset Ranch, everything on our wedding day pretty much went as planned. The day flew by smoothly as the team was flexible and experienced at handling whatever was thrown their way. Alia’s calm and comforting demeanor kept the nerves away and allowed us to truly enjoy the day. Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about our wedding!The staff was very accommodating to our guests with a variety of mobility, dietary, and health needs, making it accessible and enjoyable for all of them. Our guests are still raving about the beauty of the venue, professionalism of the staff, and delicious food (Island Cuisine)/desserts (A Cake Life). It genuinely was the best day of our lives!

Sunset Ranch offers all-inclusive wedding packages which absolutely takes the stress off of wedding planning! These are usually things that most wedding couples would have to find and pay for a la carte, but Sunset Ranch truly makes that part of wedding planning so so easy! Not only is the ranch a STUNNING venue, and super charming, its isolated location made our wedding even more intimate! It was so beautiful! The venue was perfect, as well as the views from the ranch (being it is at the top of a mountain); the scenic views of Waimea Valley (from Fern's Garden), as well as Waimea Beach, and of course, we can't forget the breathtaking sunset that you can watch straight from Sunset Ranch! It truly was a magical day. We would also like to shout out our AMAZING Coordinator, Jonah, from Sunset Ranch, for helping us throughout the entire wedding process! From the wedding planning, all the way up to the day of the wedding, Jonah's been nothing short of amazing! She truly embodied her role as our Coordinator and ensured that we were able to really have the wedding of our dreams. Everything ran so smoothly on the day of our wedding & we truly want to thank Jonah for that! We miss her already! We can't thank Sunset Ranch enough! It was such the perfect place to celebrate our big day and we'd choose it over and over again. Maybe one day we'll renew our vows there too! The day of the wedding it poured all morning so we had to go with plan B and get married under the tent at Charlie’s Pond. At first I was a little sad, but when I saw the finish product of the ceremony area I was blown away with how beautiful it came out. It was so stunning. The entire staff from the DJ, the florist, the food caters, the officiant, our amazing coordinator all played such a positive role in our wedding day. It was truly one of the best days of our life.

All I ever heard about wedding planning was how stressful it is, but my husband and I had so much fun planning with Alia, the florist, the caterer, and everyone else who was involved. The price tag is worth the peace of mind I had, and all of our family and friends said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to! The quality is in the details, from the silverware to the dance floor to the bathrooms, everything was high quality and impressive. During the wedding, Alia and her crew were on walkie talkies coordinating everything and I didn’t have to do a thing except enjoy my day. Thanks to that, the day didn’t fly by like everyone says. It was relaxing, easy and stress free. I can’t recommend this place enough. I only hope my friends have a wedding here soon so I can come back and enjoy this property! I had some pretty strange ideas for my wedding, and Alia and the florist never even questioned me; they just made it happen! I’m so satisfied with how they handled our most special day, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

and there were no surprises when we got the final bill. Our package coordinator, Jonah, was incredible. She’s not only warm and incredibly efficient, but she truly understands that a wedding is one of the most important days of your life. A few examples of the care and dedication she put into planning our day: 1. She let us ship 100 pillar candles and glass vases (6 SUPER HEAVY boxes) to her house 6 weeks before our date. She stored them and personally delivered them the day of. I didn’t have to double check that she would do this, I just arrived at our wedding and everything was perfectly set up. 2. In the months leading up to our wedding, I changed the ceremony location three times. Then, two days before, I saw the venue for the first time and decided to switch again because I wasn’t happy with the view of the power lines at Sunset Meadow. Jonah didn’t hesitate. She immediately accommodated my request, coordinating with all our vendors to set up at the new location. Once again, I didn’t have to lift a finger; everything was perfect when we arrived. 3. Our wedding day was a whirlwind, and by the end of the night, we lost track of several items. We had suitcases full of traditional Korean ceremony items and other things, most of which got loaded onto the shuttle, but a few key items were left behind. Since we were staying in Waikiki, Jonah offered to ship everything back to us in New York so we wouldn’t have to make another trip to the North Shore in our final days on the island. Based on other reviews, the other coordinators are equally amazing so you really can’t go wrong. Our guests had the best time - from the welcome drinks to the party bus home, every single moment was perfect. One consistent piece of feedback we got from our guests was that our wedding felt very “us.” I am so glad I stuck to my gut and didn’t do a hotel wedding in Waikiki, which might have been a bit easier to plan and less of a trek, but wouldn’t have offered the same level of privacy and customization. A huge thank you to Jonah, her assistants, and all of our vendors who helped us create a day that was true to us and that we will remember fondly for the rest of our lives.

from Hawaii. When he proposed in 2022, I knew we’d visit SR. It ended up being the only venue we visited because we loved it so much, the natural beauty of the mountains and ocean view were perfect. We chose the standard package with the ceremony in Fern’s Garden, ceremony and cocktail hour in front of the house by Charlie’s Pond. Greg showed us around on our visit, in addition to someone from the planning team. They were super informative and transparent about how their packages work, which ultimately really convinced us it was the venue to work with. Our incredible planner was Jonah, who helped us over a span of months, all remotely while we lived on the east coast. She kept up with all my thoughts, questions, and occasional changes- and was very patient and informative all the time. The venue’s packages made planning tremendously easy. All we had to do was source stationary, photography, alcohol, makeup/hair, and attire separately. We had 4 meetings with Jonah and she was very flexible in making time that would fit our schedule. Jonah and I were a good team! Project management is a huge part of my profession, so I handled all the services that the SR package didn’t cover. My feedback on the planning service is to make sure you get a full understanding of what is/is not included, especially if you are someone who will need more help, consider looking into more planning services. There were thunderstorm forecasts leading up to our day, and Jonah was very calm and helpful and clearly laid out multiple contingency plans. Luckily the whole storm passed and we didn’t have to adjust things, but we felt prepared regardless. We loved the food, florals, bus drivers, and DJ - all which were part of the standard package. We loved La Flore’s florals, especially! I would highly recommend a wedding at Sunset Ranch, the views and grounds are beautiful for photography and special to people who are visiting or native to Hawaii (we had a mix, and all loved it!). The team was so smooth and ninja-like on the wedding day. We had a great waitress at our sweet heart table, Shaina (or maybe Shana?); she would find me throughout the night to bring me a new cocktail and was just so sweet! We also had a billing mixup with the final invoice and someone in the finance department did a great job in fixing things up swiftly. All around the whole team at SR are great, such a well oiled machine.

Alia made sure everything was perfect for our wedding day and made it so that we didn’t stress about a single thing. She was super tedious by helping out with the timeline and coordinating all of the vendors. Not only were we happy with the quality of service, but the venue was absolutely gorgeous! We weren’t able to see it beforehand as we live out of state, but right as we walked in, it took our breath away. Everything was newly renovated and so clean. We had our ceremony at Fern’s Garden and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. The photos came out beautifully and we wish we could relive all of it again.

rs in my eyes because I just could not believe how stunning and beautiful everything was - it far exceeded what I thought it was going to look like. We went with the Standard Package and ended up having about 70 guests. As you can imagine, this is a large sum of money, and we live on the mainland, so we were nervous trying to do this long-distance! With the package, you have to go with their vendors and can exclude a couple (for example, I went with a different bakery for our wedding cake, but I had to find that and pay for it separately -- I strongly recommend doing tastings with all of their vendors and allowing yourself time to research and find others if something doesn't suit you). The food from the standard caterer, Chef Elmer's Island Cuisine - was out of this world. I still dream about the kalbi tacos during the cocktail hour. They even were able to secure a lechon (roasted pig) for us and that made my Filipino family very happy! Our coordinator, Alia, is an angel. She was supportive, kind, empathetic, and went out of her way to reassure us and take care of us. We communicated primarily via email, but had in-person meetings and also a zoom meeting leading up to the wedding. Something for us that was the most meaningful is how well Alia and her team took care of my in-laws. My parents are gone, but my husband's parents are thankfully still with us, but they have health issues and we were so worried about them. We let Alia know we needed them to be taken care of - and they absolutely were. They went above and beyond. My mother in law still talks about how she wanted for nothing and there was always someone asking to help her or get her what she wanted. The flowers, which were done by La Flor, were everything I had hoped for, and more. We wanted a modern tropical vibe and they delivered. Everything looked so colorful and lush and just really well-designed. I appreciated how the owner had a phone call with me (not part of package) to talk through the vibe and what it is I wanted. The only complaint I have is the DJ. The planned DJ had an emergency and another one took his place and definitely did not look at the questionnaire we had to fill out. That part was kind of a mess, but in the end, everyone had fun. All in all, I am not sure there are enough words to describe how stunning this venue is. Having everyone gather together to watch the sunset's gold and purple hues drape over the ocean was unlike anything I've ever experienced. This was the wedding of our dreams. Every guest who attended said they had an incredible time, and we made memories to last us forever. Thank you to Alia and the entire Sunset Ranch team for giving us the best day of our lives.

My husband and I only had the chance to see the venue once we booked, but I'd do it again in that order with full confidence. Staffing: Ronda was our coordinator and she was fabulous. Was responsive and especially helpful in the few months leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, all of my bridesmaids spoke SO highly about the customer service she provided and how on top of it she was. And I have very type-A friends so that was a huge compliment to her! Package: My husband and I knew we wanted a beautiful, fun, sentimental wedding and we also didn't want to stress too much over the details and vendors for things that we didn't care too much about. I love that they have a list of preferred vendors and that they provide high quality services and products. I was in love with the flowers we got, setup of the wedding was done to perfection, our DJ did a fantastic job, and the food service staff took such good care of my husband and me - we were never thirsty :) Overall, couldn't recommend this venue and Ronda more! Loved our experience and the magic that was our wedding. It was the perfect setting to bring our dearest friends and family together to witness our union.

Greg, the owner, wasn't the type to be just behind the scenes either. He reached out to us a couple times when there were some changes or any updates we needed to know. THAT was a huge plus for us. Our coordinator Jonah, was incredible! Even though we booked so far in advance, she was still available for us when we had any questions or concerns. As the dates started getting closer, Jonah was on top of everything! She really made wedding planning so easy and smooth for my husband and I. From shuttle pick up and drop offs, our live performers, cocktail hour, plate settings, you name it!! When she says, "I got you." She REALLY does! We even ended up going over our original guest count (sorry, again 😅) but Greg, Jonah and Sunset Ranch staff worked their magic to make it all happen. To this day, our guests and even the ones who couldn't be there, rave about how beautiful our wedding was. Our only regret is not having enough pictures, but that's because we were just so caught up in the dream come true. Thank you so much Sunset Ranch! We 1000% recommend Sunset Ranch for your next event! You won't regret it!

Ronda worked so hard to help my vision come true- we were still able to have a dreamy romantic wedding ceremony in Fern Garden- followed by a beautiful cocktail hour and reception in the barn. It was the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams.. food was amazing! I still dream of it- and the photos with the horse were phenomenal- so many picturesque moments. Ronda and her team made the transitions seamless and I even was able to eat during the day! Ronda is so dear to me that I even invited her to my baby shower 10 months later. Sunset Ranch was my number 1 venue and it really brought to life the north shore- parts of the island both locals and visitors don’t often get to see.

enue from our first visit. We were also very fortunate to have such an amazing coordinator, Ronda. She gave us a tour of the ranch on our first visit and we immediately felt so comfortable with her. I am a bit of a perfectionist and Type A, and Ronda was the same way. From the vision to the execution, she made sure that everything came together as we had envisioned it. The day of our wedding, she ensured that I was not aware of any mishaps, which I appreciate so much because my nerves were already getting the best of me. Ronda is a jack of all trades. She used to work as a florist so when she saw that our cake was a bit bare, she used her floral skills to take small elements of our decor to spruce the cake up and it turned out so beautiful! She truly goes above and beyond for the couple she works with. Another thing that we appreciate so much about her is her honesty and transparency. She let us know if certain elements could not work with the venue, especially if these elements could harm the ranch in anyway. She advocated for us when it came to the vendors. She made sure that their invoices were accurate before sending them to us for approval. There was always an open line of communication, especially during the last few weeks leading up to the wedding. She always responded to our emails, texts, and calls in a timely manner. The ranch was breathtaking. There is a reason why they call it sunset ranch… the sunset view from Charlie’s Pond and Sunset Vista is truly something to behold. We had set aside a time during our wedding for our guests to enjoy the sunset and for our photographer and videographer to capture the sunset views. It’s also amazing to know that this ranch is protected and helps in the conservation of Hawaiian agriculture. We are so glad we chose this venue and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii. If we get the chance to do it all over again, we would choose this venue over and over.

We were so incredibly lucky and grateful to have Alia as our coordinator. Not only was she incredibly responsive, but she was organized, honest, accommodating, genuine and just an absolute pleasure to work with. There is no better person! Greg was incredibly accommodating and responsive as was all the staff on our wedding day! Everyone was absolutely professional and kind to our guests, especially our bartender that night. She was incredibly busy but held her composure & had a smile on her face the whole night. She was very sweet to everyone. We purchased the vendor package through Sunset Ranch & couldn't have been more satisfied. Our floral, décor, dessert table, food, DJ, servers, were all incredibly amazing! We wish we could do it all over again. Absolutely stunning location with even more amazing staff! We can't thank Greg & Alia enough for all they did for us!
