Loved this venue and LOVED my wedding day. There was constant communication for a YEAR leading up to our big day. They have a massive decor warehouse you can pull from and have so many choices for linen/plates/napkins/signs. There are also 3 venue spots to chose from depending on the type of wedding/guest count. A HUGE bonus is that you can be in the bridal and groom suites ALL DAY! All of us got ready with champagne and fun. The grooms side even had a poker table, bar, and pool table. the brides side had a massive area to get our hair done and then a whole area to watch TV and goof around. 10/10 best venue we looked at! The only part I was bummed about was that we switched point-of-contacts three times because of venue job changes. (We were bummed because the guy we did our initial walkthrough with was awesome). BUT we ended up having Shayla as our venue coordinator and she was amazing. Highly recommend!
I recently had my wedding at Superstition Manor and highly recommend the venue if you want a beautiful and very well executed wedding day! The venue is gorgeous, includes everything from catering, bar, decor, and a planner. This makes the planning process so easy!
In addition, our planner, Anna Rubio, did such an amazing job making our vision come through! She had great customer service and made everything the day of (and before) go smoothly. She handles everything for you to remove any stress!
Not just Anna, but the staff is all great. Dinner came out quickly and clean up was a breeze. The bartender as so friendly and everyone was happy with the drinks and how the food tasted.
This is an amazing option if you are looking to get married in the Mesa/East valley area!
I absolutely loved having my wedding at Superstition Manor. Upon starting the venue search, we knew that we were looking for the following: 1. A venue with a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, 2. Enough space to fit 250+ guests, 3. A solid open bar package, 4. Beautiful experience from the minute you get out of the parking lot, and 5. Spacious getting ready space with a private bathroom for the bridal suite. Superstition Manor had this and so much more. A major selling point to us was the fact that they had a whole trove of decor for us to use. They provided tablecloth, napkins, chargers, some florals, tables, easels, and so much more. On top of this all- they also provided a Teacher Discount! They have wonderful Venue Planners that you get paired with, and we absolutely loved Kacey. She was incredibly helpful and patient with us as we went through the planning process. She was always a text away throughout this process, which was such a reassurance. The day of, the wedding went so smooth. We had access to the venue from as early as 8:00 am until the end of the wedding. We had Kacey and another coordinator helping us with our timing, being prepared, giving us reminders, adjusting the AC inside, and organizing the vendors. What truly set them apart for my husband and I was the fact that after the ceremony, my husband and I disappeared to sign the marriage license. During this time, our coordinators made helped me bussle my dress (which was quite the tasks) and, more importantly, made sure we were given food and drinks so that way we didn't have to venture into the cocktail hour before we were ready. They even ran and got us seconds. The staff was so attentive, friendly, and helpful. Even at the end of the wedding, they helped us load up the decor that we brought into our cars. After the wedding, we got so much feedback on how smoothly the wedding ran, how beautiful the venue was, and how delicious the food was.
We have very little complaints- one being that we had participated in a donation drive with the venue and were told we would receive a free marquee "LOVE" sign for our wedding day, which did not make it out on the day of. Of course, between the business of the day and all our other decor, we did not even notice that this was missing, so it really wasn't a big deal for us at all. Another small complaint that we had, was that during the cocktail hour, we heard the bar line got a bit backed up between the number of guest to bartenders. This was quickly fixed once the reception started. Very minor complaints that did not negatively impact our experience at all!
All in all, Superstition Manor was the perfect place for our wedding. Between the support of the staff, beauty of the venue, and the all inclusive experience- you cannot go wrong with choosing this venue.
I am a professional baker and have done many weddings. Recently my best friend got married at Superstition Manor and I was asked to bake the cake/dessert table. I arrived early the day of the event, dropped the cake, and went upstairs to get ready (also MOH). I came down half way through getting ready for a safety pin and found that Michelle (one of the wedding coordinators employed by the venue and assigned to my friend) had decided to add a massive amount of flowers by pressing them into the buttercream on the cake. When I asked her who did this, she stated one of the moms had said it was needed, so she placed them on. I walked upstairs and spoke to the parents, both of whom stated they hadnt seen the cake/desserts yet. I then proceeded to try and fix the cake after she did this, which was virtually impossible. I have NEVER experienced such UNPROFESSIONALISM on behalf of the venue at such an event. It is never okay to change the cake (previously approved/commissioned by the bride/groom) on a whim and then LIE ABOUT IT!! Her actions were wildly UNACCEPTABLE and her unilateral decision to change the cake without speaking to the bride/groom/baker is an egregious overstep on her part. The final cake had been approved by the bride/groom the night before delivery and was requested to look the way it originally did. The cake then looked lumpy and became an insult to my time put into it, and a bad representation of the work I do. Michelle overstepped her boundaries and created unnecessary stress on the brides day, when she is literally paid to do the opposite. If you do a wedding at this beautiful location, I recommend you ask for a different coordinator.
Venue was beautifully decorated, staff friendly, food was delicious. My only issue was they ran out of appetizers at the cocktail hour and many of our guests didn't have any at all. I was not happy about that.
Krystin was our coordinator, and she was amazing! I highly recommend Superstition Manor. What stood out to me about this venue compared to other venues is the price, and being all inclusive. It relieves so much stress when planning a wedding. They have so many decorations to choose from, a beautiful view, and beautiful place. The food and drinks were delicious. Krystin always answered my multiple texts with questions. Everything went smoothly! My only 2 "complaints" would be that- 1. it's off a sorta busy road, so loud cars driving by during the ceremony could happen; and 2. Because up to 3 weddings can happen on site on the same day, it limits where you can get your photos to a degree- we still got some beautiful shots but we had to wait a bit to get the shots we wanted by the fountain because the other wedding party was also getting photos. But for the price and service they provide, it was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them!
This venue was everything we dreamed about for our perfect wedding. We had Michelle as our coordinator and she was extremely helpful and there for us from start to finish. Michelle is very talented in what she does and knows how to give you a stress free day and fix any last minute issues! Michelle is someone we would highly recommend as a coordinator and this venue as well!!!
Overall the experience was great! Shayla helped make sure our day was smooth and stress free. The DJ didn’t really listen to any song requests or play any of our music on our wedding playlist that we asked for.
All of our decor was beautiful though & everyone said they had a great time. Food & drinks were yummy!
We got married here in March of this year. We were so grateful to everyone on staff ESPECIALLY SHAYLA! Our wedding wouldn’t haven’t been so special without her. From always being a text away to making sure we felt as stress free as possible. She helped make the day so smooth for us.
Omg, this venue is amazing! Kacey was our wedding coordinator and was able to work with us certain circumstances. They do their catering in house which is awesome and helps to simplify things. Their preferred vendors are amazing as well. Kacey was able to book a DJ for us last minute through their preferred vendor list! We booked the South Villa with 77 guests, and we still had enough space for everyone! She made everything so easy to plan and coordinate. The day of the wedding went so smoothly! I recommend the pulled pork sandwiches y’all! The decorations were beautifully done, she nailed the theme we wanted for our wedding with the Pinterest pictures we sent Kacey. I highly recommend this venue and Kacey! ❤️
Everyone at Superstition Manor was able to make our wedding dreams come true! We loved working with Shayla throughout the entire process. Everything from the food tasting, to the decor design day, to the week leading up was incredibly organized and so fun. Having someone like Shayla really helped take a lot of the stress off of wedding planning. We could not have asked for a more perfect team to carry out such a magical day💕 Highly recommend booking your wedding with this team!!!
Our day couldn’t have been any better with the help from Shayla!!! First off, in the months while planning our wedding, she was always easy to communicate with and provided as much assistance as she possibly could to make the process smooth. She was always able to work around our schedule to make scheduling the appointments easy for us. The day of the wedding, she was spot on with our vision of how we wanted our wedding to look. Having her as our coordinator allowed both my husband and myself to actually enjoy our wedding and take in the day. She made sure to check in on us throughout the night, saved us our appetizers so we could actually taste them, and kept us on schedule!! She was honestly the best thing about the venue. There are so many more wonderful things that could be said about her. If you are looking for a venue and coordinator, this is the place.
Delaney and the whole Superstition Manor team were so amazing for our wedding day in May. The venue was affordable too, compared to so many others! Delaney was there with us along the way for our planning our wedding - and always available to answer my hundreds of questions, and always so eager to help! She ensured I didn't need to worry about the details on the wedding day, as that was her job. Delaney did all the decorating, and she has such amazing style. I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she made it came to life. And we could borrow and use all of their decor, as that's part of the package! It was awesome that we didn't have to buy all that wedding stuff to use just for one day. So while we customized some things to make it our own, she went above and beyond to make our wedding what it was. It ran so smoothly, the food and drinks were amazing, the guests had SO much fun, and it really couldn't have been more perfect. The views at this venue are incredible, and the staff were all so happy and helpful. You can tell they love their jobs here. I would hands-down recommend them for a wedding. Thank you for everything, Delaney and SM team!!! We will forever remember our best day ever!
This place was absolutely incredible with helping us plan our destination wedding and made the entire planning process SO easy and enjoyable!! Kacey was kind, considerate, and made my vision come to life. Everything from the venue, to communications, to food and every tiny little detail in between was everything and more than we could have asked for our wedding! Thank you again so incredibly much!
My wedding day was absolutely perfect! so much so that I wish I could relive it again! Superstition Manor was the perfect place for my wedding day! It is beyond beautiful with lots of places for gorgeous pictures!! It was the first venue that my husband and I visited and we ended up booking the same day because we were so impressed. Kacey, my wedding coordinator, was so kind, professional, and experienced! She was able to take all of the stress off of me and my now husband during our wedding weekend so we could just relax and enjoy it. She was patient with me as I changed my mind on decorations at least three times! She answered all of my questions promptly. On the day of I was blown away with how the venue looked for my wedding. Everything looked so beautiful!! Thank you so much Kacey and thank you to Superstition Manor!!!!
Superstition Manor is absolutely amazing! We got married at The Barn on Saturday and our day was perfect. Edgar took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. All the staff was friendly and attentive. All our guest kept saying how amazing the venue is and how friendly all the staff was. I wouldn't have changed anything! Thank you Superstition Manor you all are amazing!!!
Without a doubt the best wedding venue i could have asked for. The pricing was great, the staff, the decor, the coordinator, everything. Perfect! They truly helped create my gothic spooky beautiful dream wedding. Thank you, Kacey
This place was SO AWESOME! SUPER affordable, gorgeous views, and mostly inclusive (which takes away A LOT of the headache of figuring out other vendors from an already stressed out bride)! We worked with Bri as our coordinator and we COULD NOT speak highly enough of her! She was so easy going and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The food was great (only complaint was guests that were served last received luke warm food - but I can't blame Superstition Manor considering we had almost 200 mouths to feed).
The decor to choose from when designing your table settings and decorations is like walking through a Hobby Lobby storage room and the getting ready suits were clutch to have the day of!
The one and only reason I took away one star in this glowing review is that we paid for the top-shelf bar package and had a number of our guests let us know that if they went to a specific bar tender and didn't ask for the top-shelf liquor, they didn't get it. This was the only disappointment we experienced from our whole journey with Superstition Manor, and we even feel it may have just been a slight communication mishap on behalf of the staff that evening.
I would certainly, without a doubt recommend Superstition Manor to everyone and anyone I know!
The Superstition Manor was the first venue we toured in our planning process, and it was the venue we kept comparing every other location to. It was incomparable for pricing details, value, service and the overall grounds. Upon initial contract reviews we even stated that we had a specific budget in mind and they were willing to work with our comfort levels! Having that family owned business aspect makes the manor feel like you are just that while planning, family.
We selected the Barn, which is a newly built gem that sits behind the original manor - it is truly stunning and was equipped with everything we could have envisioned for our big day. General FYI's include: Food is catered through the venue and there is a multitude of selections you can choose from to the build plates you would like to see on your wedding. Liquor is also offered and managed on site, depending on which beverage plan you have selected. The venue offers "preferred" vendors for select services, which typically include discounted rates which is really great. All of the necessities are included such as - tables, chairs, table settings, linens and decorative items for the ceremony & reception. And there are PLENTY of options to cater to any couple's style. Parking and space is no issue but a few of our guests did have a little trouble ordering ubers because of the location so please encourage them to pre-book their ride shares!
Finally, to Bri - our coordinator. Words cannot explain how thankful we were to have such a diligent, friendly, dedicated and sweet person by our side during this process. From our planning meetings leading up to the very last step on wedding day, Bri made us feel so incredibly well taken care of that we had absolutely no worries on our wedding day. I am personally an over planner and had big dreams for my big day, but Bri made me feel as if no question was too crazy and no task was out of reach. To say the least, everything that I had envisioned for my wedding was executed flawlessly and every detail (big or small) was delicately placed or handled exactly as I had hoped. Our family and friends were very impressed by her willingness to assist, answer questions or just simply be the supporting figure we needed. Thank you, Bri! -The Hansings
Beautiful venue! We loved how much we didn’t need to think about on the day because they take care of almost everything! Kacey was our coordinator and she was great and made sure that we were able to enjoy our day with no added stress.
Where do I even begin!? This venue was an absolute dream! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Superstition Manor in the barn on Saturday and we could not have had a more perfect night! The Barn was decorated so beautifully for us and it’s all thanks to BRI!!!!😍 She was such an amazing coordinator from the start and she absolutely brought our vision to life! She was always so prompt and helpful-She accommodated every request and always did it with a huge smile on her face. Planning a wedding during COVID seemed impossible at times but Bri and all of the staff members managed to mitigate so much of our stress and made us feel like everything was going to be okay...AND IT WAS! Better than okay-Everything was absolutely PERFECT! We could not have asked for a better day and the Superstition Manor team made it happen! We are eternally grateful for everything that they did for us. Despite COVID and the uncertainty of these times, they will work with you and bring you the most beautiful and incredible day. The location of this venue is incredible as it is but having a team of staff members that are truly committed to their couples is just unreal. We are so happy that we had our reception here and we will always hold the Superstition Manor team close to our hearts. They really gave us the most beautiful start to our happily ever after and we will always be grateful for their services! We will definitely be recommending this venue to our friends and family! Book this venue-You won’t be disappointed!! 🥰😍

Don’t be fooled by the awards and accolades this event space claims to have won. Sure, it is a pretty venue and seems to be reasonably priced, but so are many other event spaces in the greater Mesa/Phoenix area. Read the contract you are about to sign and review past testimonials. After what my fiancé and I went through this summer, I would not recommend Superstition Manor to anyone.
The early communication with our event coordinator, Rebecca was good. She was responsive and answered our questions promptly. Since this was a destination wedding, Rebecca helped us with the decor ideas by sending us photos of different options and us making the selections. Everything was going smoothly until Covid hit.
Our original ceremony date was June 19th. This was just weeks after the entire country experienced a mandator lockdown of some capacity. Our home state of Wisconsin, was still partially shut down and Covid infections were still on the rise. Many states had a social distancing policy and indoor gatherings were limited to 10 individuals or less. Many experts predicted that we would not have a vaccine by the end of 2020 and due to the contagious nature of the virus, it wouldn’t go away on its own. With all this going on, my fiancé and I had to put the safety of our friends and family before our desires to get married. Traveling out of state and by plane was a danger to our well being and a risk we were not willing to take.
After being completely transparent with Rebecca and the venue owner, John Burns about our reservations with proceeding with our ceremony in light of a pandemic, we were given two options. Option 1, we could reschedule, but it had to be within 2020 and option 2, we could cancel, but we would not be given a refund. Keep in mind at this point, we had already paid thousands of dollars towards the wedding contract. This is the lack of compassion we were greeted with in an already horrible situation. Based on this and listening to the health experts, we decided that our only option was to cancel.
Fast forward to today, where we have not been shown any empathy by the venue or any of its staff. We paid $3,000 for a ceremony that never took place, food that was never eaten, and services never rendered. We understand businesses have contracts and policies to protect themselves and under normal circumstances, agree with these policies. However at present time we are in a global pandemic. The government has provided small businesses with aid packages to support them during these uncertain times. There is no need for the business to pray on and take advantage of soon to be husband and wives. A wedding should be a magical experience, not a moment in time that you regret. I strongly regret our decision for entering into contract with John and Superstition Manor. This business only cares about making money regardless of the situation. Fellow grooms and brides look elsewhere.
As a valuable site, I thought I would share with you my review of Superstition Manor and the type of business you have on your site and the business practice they have during this unfortunate pandemic we are all dealing with. Let me be very clear, I, in no way, am an unreasonable person and have compassion for businesses at this time. I completely understand how hard it is for everyone involved However, the way this business has handled themselves is unbelievable and I feel people should be aware of these poor business practices!!
My fiancé and I found this place back in December of last year. It seemed like I nice place for a wedding and it helped they offered a military discount. In January we signed a contract and started making payments on our dream wedding for us and 98 of our closest friends and family. Well we all know what happens next COVID hit Arizona and things were locked down. Our day was approaching and we were all on lock down. We couldn't get the dress fitted we couldn't pick up the rings everything was closed. We contacted Brittney and she found us a new date. August 29th we thought by then things would be normal. Well June happens and lock down all over again. The governor says no gathering larger than 50 people with social distancing. All of the mayors tell us we have to wear masks. I start to panic and reached out to Elizabeth, our wedding coordinator, who told me not to worry they had a wedding of 125 people the night before. But if I was nervous I could reschedule for free one more time but the only Saturday's for the year were the Saturday after Thanksgiving or the Saturday after Christmas. Those were my options. If we wanted to schedule into 2021, at that point there would be additional fees. Knowing that was not right I called John the owner To tell him our situation. He tells me if you want to cancel "I get it." Just needed to fill out their form and they will get us canceled. The next day we fill out the form and send it in. We find out later that day not only are we canceled for a wedding they could never host due to COVID but they want the total of the contract. $8,800 to include all of the gratuity for the wait staff and the deposit for the photo booth for that night. After we canceled we were told we should have offered you smaller party size whoops we forgot. So here we are out $5,700 and a bill for the rest. So I guess the bottom line is if you are looking for an ethical place to host your wedding. This is not it. Spend your time read the reviews. Don't let them take advantage of you like they did me and my fiancé.
Concerned about the review by Gerald D. My daughter has her wedding this year and we are concerned about giving them any more money. Are other couples having issues with this venue during COVID-19?
I grew up down the road from superstition manor before it was built! I remember it being a dirt lot with tons of desert landscaping, I watched the building go up and I remember always thinking as a little girl that one day I could only dream of getting married there. Well fast forward 14 years later and I signed my contract to be married there next year!! The employees of this venue truly make you feel like family and your day is so important to them! From planning to just simply chatting and getting to know them the venue has been great! With a perfect location that’s not too far of a drive with the picturesque Superstition Mountains in the background this venue is sure to make all your guests say “WOW”. I’m So excited for 2021 and I can’t wait to continue to plan my big day! ❤️ Thank you for making my dreams come true!
Beautiful venue! Our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect.
Where do I even begin with this venue. Like a lot of you I look at reviews, I came across bad ones for this venue but I still took the risk and went with them. It was the biggest mistake I could make. At first everything seemed great. Promises were made, but in the end were not delivered. I purchased the "VIP" package. So everything was included , I paid extra for having the venue/both halls/upstairs &downstairs to myself. The day of the there was another wedding, a rehersal, and even a tour while I'm taking pictures in the reception hall. I had a fabulous cake, but was only able to enjoy ONE bite of it because one of coordinators (staff) DROPPED my cake on the floor while trying to move it. Then they tried to serve it even after it was on the floor. My guests were appalled. They turned off the main light chandelier while I did my first dance. Even after spending 5hours (printing /designing)on table cards the staff taped them to a mirror all crooked and smooshed. Some even overlapping each other. We were promised the venue from 8am-10pm and by 7pm they already started to pick up half the place. My sparklers were not out with the customized matches we bought. For the ceremony they played the wrong music and ruined the reveal, they shut the doors after my husband and everyone already saw me. They refused some of my guests dinner even though there was so much left over. They recommended a dj company that completely did not follow the timeline and did toasts before anyone had anything to drink. These are only SOME of the many things they ruined.
We tried calling after the wedding and no answer for over a week from the owner John. When he did finally call and my husband tried to tell him everything that happened he yelled and said he didn't want to hear his knit picking amongst other things and hung up. This place is beautiful. BUT NOT WORTH IT. please please save your hard earned money and go with a venue that will make your day special and will be professional!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND REBECCA FOR YOUR WEDDING COORDINATOR!!!!! She was absolutely amazing and I could not have asked for a more incredible wedding day. She took care of EVERYTHING and made our day so easy and effortless. I was shocked when I arrived that morning and saw my dreams come to life! Through out the night, she was always checking to see if we needed anything and packed up all of our things before we left. Rebecca went above and beyond and made our wedding day the BEST day ever. This is an amazing venue with incredible views and staff (the waiter even had a dance off with our friends). I could not be more thankful for Superstition Manor!
From when we booked until our wedding day our coordinator Elizabeth was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we wanted and more. The venue itself is gorgeous and well run. There are so many package options so that even on a tight budget you can still have a beautiful wedding. They really work with you to make sure that you are getting the best. Also the fact that the venue handles the catering and the bar is great because the food is excellent and it's fewer vendors to coordinate with. I highly recommend Superstition Manor.
Superstition Manor is the ultimate wedding package! My husband and I had such an amazing wedding and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the time we toured the manor, we knew it was perfect for us. Elizabeth was our coordinator and made sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. She truly made me have a stress free day and calmed my nerves. She was completely honest with us and ensured the day was all about us. Our guests had the best time and raved how beautiful the venue was. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!
100% RECOMMEND! I am SO glad we had our wedding here; the day was absolutely perfect! When I set out to fine a venue, I wanted the beauty of the location to speak for itself instead of having to decorate and cover up ugly off-white walls in a dingy ballroom (which seemed to be the case for most places in our price range), but this place literally has it all! Amazing tuscan architecture (beautiful inside and out), stunning desert landscape, lovely garden area... and all at a fraction of the cost that other venues were asking!!! Seriously amazing!
Additionally, they took care of everything. As an all-inclusive venue, it was so easy to get all the vendors together; no worrying about bringing in caterers and having the food getting cold, the florist getting lost, or not having the right hookups for the DJ, it was just all there! Taken care of because they were all familiar with the location. (Plus, all their approved vendors were equally as amazing.)
I also want to note how organized the whole thing was; our coordinator, Elizabeth, was fantastic! She took care of everything and communicated with me throughout the entire planning process. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted, acted as a body guard so that we could actually enjoy our wedding meal, and even lightly entertained our flower girls. At the end of the night, she and the staff had packed up all of the decor and trinkets and I literally did not have to worry about a thing. I just seriously want to thank her for being so spectacular.
The owner, John, was also very accommodating and our guests also spoke very highly of the venue; several guests mentioned to me how comfortable they felt there and commented that the staff (and recommended vendors) were over all very polite. The venue had seamless indoor and outdoor space/ seating and I think this contributed to the comfort level of our guests. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stress-free, desert wedding :)
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting married here! Superstition Manor was the very first venue that we looked at, and the very first time we toured, we booked our wedding date immediately. Though the place looked very expensive and wayyy over our budget, it was actually VERY AFFORDABLE! Superstition Manor is built for weddings, and they are prepared to provide you with all the the table decorations, chairs, and signage that you could ever dream of! In addition to free decorations, they also acted as our caterer! Before the wedding we met for a food tasting in which we were able to try hundreds of different appetizers, entrees, and side dishes for free! Additionally, because Superstition Manor has a great relationship with other wedding services in the area, we were able to get a great discount on both our photographers and DJ! They also provided us with an amazing coordinator, Elizabeth, that took care of everything for us, so planning our wedding was a breeze! If you are planning on getting married, take a tour of the place and choose your date soon! You will not regret it!!
If you’re looking for a venue where nearly everything is in one package you’ve found it! We had Elizabeth as our coordinator and she was amazing! She kept us on track and put our vision to life!!! I had one of the best nights of my life and would highly recommend this venue for your wedding day!
My wife and I could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding! Our coordinator, Rebecca, was fantastic from the moment we met her at a bridal show, all the way through to the end of the wedding. Our day turned out better than we could've dreamed! Highly recommend this venue!
My daughter was married here on February 6, 2019. Everything went perfect. A special thank you to the coordinator Kaycee. She was awesome!!. I was so happy with how everything turned out it. The location with Superstition mountain is gorgeous, all of the staff were so helpful and professional. I highly recommend this venue. We chose sugarlips for the cake. It was beautiful and delicious. We chose save this memory for the DJ. Taylor did a fabulous job, everyone loved the games. If you want a very low stress wedding and reception this is the place to go. Thank you Superstition Manor for everything.
Absolutely beautiful Tuscan wedding venue! The owners, John & Lisa did everything possible to give the bride & groom the wedding they dreamed of. The food was excellent and our wedding coordinator, Rebecca, not only made sure the wedding party's every need was met but was so organized that the wedding went like clockwork! we could not have asked for better service or a more beautiful wedding for our son and new daughter-in-law
I can’t say how amazing Superstition Manor was! When my husband and I first toured the venue back in 2017 we fell in love immediately. The view of the Superstition Mountains is gorgeous and almost everything is included in your package (table decor, decorations around the venue, they set EVERYTHING up, credits for vendors, etc.). They also have done a lot of upgrading to their venue over the past two years making it even more dreamy every step of the way. It was a relief to not have to go out and get decorations for tables and around the venue, they do it all! Rebecca was so amazing and she answered all of my (many) questions in such a timely manner, she made the whole process so stress free which was so great. All of our guests keep talking about how gorgeous everything turned out. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!
We got married at Superstition Manor in October 2018 and it was seriously the most perfect day ever. Elizabeth was our event coordinator and she made arranged the entire day, made everything flow, and made my husband and I feel so special. We loved the fact that all the linens and decor were included in the price. The food and liquor options were priced really well and there were so many different choices. The bridal and groom suites were amazing to get ready in (and party in for the guys). The views are beautiful and made for AMAZING pictures!! We are so thankful for such an amazing day!!
Most amazing vendor!! Our coordinator, Elizabeth, was truly a miracle worker! She understood our vision and created the most perfect wedding. All of their food is to die for and they can a gorgeous view of the Superstition Mountains! I have ZERO complaints, our wedding was beyond perfect because of this venue!!
This is the best place to get married! Besides the amazing mountain views the venue itself is gorgeous! Rebecca was our coordinator and she is seriously the best! We were able to customize our wedding exactly how we liked and it turned out even better than I could have imagined!
Superstition Manor was probably the best decision my husband and I made during our wedding planning.
Food: The food was amazing and everybody who we talked to loved their meals. All the steaks were cooked at medium/ medium rare and I didn’t hear a complaint about the food being cold or not warm enough.
Décor: We seriously didn’t have to purchase/rent any décor, the manor had everything, and it was great. Their decor room was massive, and they had different options/styles. When we did our table settings, they were very open with our ideas and made a perfect match with our ideas and what they had available. They even made our table numbers to match more with our flowers/theme.
Venue: We had the whole manor to ourselves and it was so nice not worrying about running into another wedding. We did our ceremony on the south lawn and used the south hall as our cocktail hour. Our guest then moved into the ballroom for the reception. The venue had a lot of great settings for pictures. All of our pictures turned out great!
Vendors: We used all the recommended vendors on their list. We used Sugarlips for our cake, Moellux Events for our florals and Save this Memory for the DJ, Photography and Videography. We didn’t have any problems with any of them.
Wedding Coordinator: Elizabeth was amazing! We are so glad Elizabeth took our account when our first coordinator left! She was fantastic and helped in every way possible. She took my ideas/visions and made them come to life, ie, our Boba Bar. She knew exactly what we wanted and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. She was always on hand and I could email/text/call her about anything. Before our grand entrance, she had the kitchen make us extra appetizers because we didn’t get any during cocktail hour. She went above and beyond for us.
Honestly, if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was such a wonderful and easy day for us.
Thank you so much Superstition Manor!
Our wedding day was definitely a fairytale. We tied the knot 05/27/18. The venue was the most perfect place with the beautiful mountains. Our coordinator Rebecca was amazing from day 1, she was wonderful to work with, she answered all of our questions no matter the time or day. Everything went better than I could've imagined. All the recommended vendors were on point. Piece of cake for cupcakes and top tier cake, Lasting Impressions for floral-Brenda Hon, Save this Memory for our DJ. JC kept our Guests entertained the entire time- guests are still talking about all the fun they had. Sharley was our photographer and we couldn't have asked for anyone better she is amazing, absolutely love her work, she took our engagement pictures as well. Our officiant Joe with weddings to remember was wonderful to work with. The colors we chose were my favorite together. Rose Bridal for the tuxedos and who would've thought Dress barn for bridesmaids dresses, and lastly Azteca Bridal for my Dress, Ofelia is super friendly and helpful. We went to a lot of open houses to find our Venue and this place is by far the best place with reasonable prices. The food was amazing the jalapeno poppers were a hit!! I just want every newly engaged couple to pick this place because its definitely a wedding venue everyone will talk about forever especially if they use all the vendors recommended, they know how to all come together to make the perfect day!!
My husband and I loved working with Superstition Manor! Our coordinator, Cara, was so understanding of our every need and made our day perfect. We had the most wonderful night! Almost everything was included and the venue itself is gorgeous! I could not recommend this place more!
I am SO happy we chose this venue for our wedding. We got married on April 22nd and it was absolutely perfect. Rebecca was our coordinator and she made everything so easy. She took care of everything for us. Request her by name because she is seriously the BEST!! The food was great, the venue was beautiful and the preferred vendors we chose from their list all were amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We had the best wedding day ever!
My wedding day was this past weekend, April 28th 2018. Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The location is beautiful, inside and out.
The bride and groom suites are amazing! This was one of the few venues we saw that had a big space for both the bride and groom. My husband loved it so much that he arrived at 9:00 am for our 2:30 pm wedding to spend the day in the groom's suite. My nieces (who were my flower girls) also noticed the spacious suites and asked me, "How can they afford to have a salon in here?" I got ready at the venue, including showering, which was so convenient not to be running around town the day of my wedding for makeup and hair. Lunch was provided so no one was hangry (hungry and angry) which is always a plus!
They specialize in weddings here and that is apparent. The background of the Superstition Mountains during our ceremony was lovely! The decor around the site is all tailored to weddings and love. The dinner setting looked very nice! We received so many compliments from our friends and family on details that made the place beautiful for our big day, most of which were put in place by the venue. Our guests loved the photo both and we now have a super fun scrapbook with their photos. The candy bar and coffee bars were a hit! The slideshow with photos of my husband and I from when we were little until we were dating got tons of "oohs" and "aahs" and laughter during the dinner.
We used the DJ, photographer and videographer they partner with, Save This Memory, which ended up being a great choice. Because they have done so many weddings at the venue, they have mastered the art. We can't wait to see our photos but were very pleased that they had selected beautiful locations and poses for us to get the photos done quickly and get us back to the party!
Overall, we had a great experience working with the staff there. We loved that it was all inclusive. There was one set price and no matter which options we selected there were no up-charges or hidden fees. The owners and their staff are very professional, responded to every email/text/phone call quickly and went above and beyond to make our big day so special! I would highly recommend this location to my friends and family.
Superstition Manor
What an incredible venue! My now husband and I got married here last weekend, 4/21/18. Our search for the perfect venue began immediately after getting engaged. I spent hours/days/weeks researching venues, prices, locations and vendors. Our guest count helped narrow down the search in its self but when we arrived at SM, we were in awe! We went to an open house and were greeted immediately by one of the coordinators. They gave us a tour and told us all about the package options. Although, in love with the venue, I wanted to be sure to see each venue I had listed. We visited at least 15 venues before arriving at Superstition Manor and at least 10 more afterwards. Ultimately, we could not pass up the beauty and prices found at SM. And I’m so glad I didn’t!
We worked with Brittany, who was incredible! The planning was seamless and I enjoyed every minute. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and it was! People didn’t stop talking about how amazing our food was, the decor was gorgeous and the scenery couldn’t be beat! Plus the weather even cooperated which was a bonus. I had a few hiccups on the day of, that we’re not a result of SM but my choice in vendors. Brittany was on it before I even realized there was an issue. I can’t speak highly enough of this venue. If you’re even thinking about it, look no further and book with Superstition Manor. You won’t be disappointed!
*I did not use their preferred vendors for everything, in hind sight I probably should have.
We just had our wedding at the Superstition Manor on 3/16/2018 and our day was absolutely amazing so much more than we ever dreamed or expected it to be! Elizabeth who became our coordinate a few months before our big day was Fantastic! Elizabeth was there every step of the way making sure everything was perfect which made our wedding day a stress-free one. It truly was a pleasure working with her and everyone at Superstition Manor. We received endless compliments about the venue, the location, the staff and the food. Thank you Elizabeth and the incredible staff at Superstition Manor for all of your hard work and giving us a wedding we will remember for a lifetime! John and Lisa you have a phenomenal venue along with a phenomenal staff who made the event run as smoothly and perfectly as possible. We highly, highly, highly recommend Superstition Manor and Elizabeth if you are looking for an amazing wedding!
My wife and I got married at Superstition Manor on January 12, 2018 and it was a beautiful day that neither of us will ever forget. The Venue is absolutely breathtaking with its rustic style and the incredible views of the Superstition Mountains. The reason I gave it a 3 star review though is because of the owner. He is an absolutely rude individual who treats others as less. He didn't treat my wife or I as such, but he did our food vendor. We used Kiss The Chef Catering (which I 1000% recommend them to EVERYONE!!!), and per our contract, we were able to, but the owner was extremely sour about it, so he gave my caterer a really hard time, even though my caterer was the most friendly group of people I have ever come across. At one point, the owner walked to them and said, " I hope you know this will be your very last time here." This was completely unwarranted, and through the whole night, he was being rude to my caterers and making things difficult on them. The reason he was bitter with them was because I elected to use Kiss the Chef Catering instead of the Superstition Manor, which is the Manor's big source of revenue. What did Superstition Manor expect though? We read awful reviews about their food, and they wouldn't let us sample it for another 2 months (from the time of booking the venue). On the other hand, Kiss the Chef put on a HUGE display for my wife and I only, and let us try everything. The food was absolutely incredible and their setup/presentation was the most beautiful out of the many we had seen. And the price was right, also. During the night, the employees of Superstition Manor were mocking Kiss the Chef's, and treating them like garbage. Thankfully, Kiss the Chef held it together and made it work so it didn't interfere with or ruin my wife and I's special night.
All in all, the venue is great, the price is pretty good, but the ownership and staff (other than Cara Gomez) were rude, demeaning, and super disorganized.
If looking for catering services, PLEASE use Kiss the Chef Catering! They will make your day a billion times more memorable, our guests (we had about 200) are even talking about it still and how great the food was! Chef Ed and Chef Michael are incredible and extremely talented!
I had my wedding at Superstition Manor in March and our wedding was absolutely beautiful. We choose Superstition Manor because of their willingness to help us with our budget, and also because of the services that were provided. They have an entire backroom full of linen, decoration, silverware, plates and anything else you could think of. In addition they were BYOB (at the time of booking), inhouse catering, and of course the place was absolutely beautiful! Cara was our coordinator for the event and working with her was super easy. She informed my fiancé (now husband) and I on important deadlines and helped with all aspects of the ceremony and reception. It was absolutely amazing not having to worry about finding decorations, or putting things together the day of the wedding. Planning our wedding was an absolute breeze and extremely easy. The con of Superstition Manor is they do have multiple halls (3 total) where they can do ceremony’s, so unless you rent out the entire building there is a chance that you will be sharing the space with another couple. They do soundproof the reception space and we honestly couldn’t hear the other reception while we were having dinner. Although, because their ceremony started before ours, our photographer was limited to a few locations to take wedding party photos. In addition, because our ceremony started later you could hear their reception, DJ, and music while our ceremony was happening. My husband and I are pretty laid back people so it didn’t bother us too much, but I could see it bothering someone else.
Overall, I give this place 5+ stars. We were fully aware that a ceremony was starting later in the day and they communicated that we would have restricted access. When their liquor license changed they were extremely professional, our coordinator (Cara) was the absolute best and I feel like I owe her the world for making our day so beautiful. The venue is fantastic, the food is unbelievable, and the stress was minimal. If you are want to have a beautiful wedding and needing an all-inclusive venue I highly recommend using Superstition Manor and requesting Cara.
We got married in January at the Superstition Manor and it was perfect! The venue helps you with everything you need, from start to finish. They even provide you with a wedding coordinator. Cara Gomez was the best. She always answered my crazy emails and texts. The owner was also very helpful and considerate with our budget. You can't ask for anything more: beautiful views, an outstanding service and they work with your budget. After we visited the manor a year before our wedding, we feel in love immediately and our wedding guests could not stop complementing us about the venue. They especially loved the photo booth!
My husband and I got married here a couple of weeks ago and I cannot thank them enough. Everything was perfect and absolutely beautiful. Our original wedding coordinator left a few months before our wedding and we were super nervous. However, we got reassigned to Elizabeth and we couldn't be happier. She was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The owner John ad his daughter Brittany are the best. They truly care about each couple and will go the extra mile to ensure you have the best day. All of their preferred vendors are amazing, especially the florist and DJ! We had so much fun and everything was beautiful. The all inclusive package allowed us to not have to stress about the little things. Everyone keeps telling us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. I will be recommending everyone to get married there.
We were very happy with our choice in this venue. The place is absolutely beautiful and our guests all thought the same. To start off with- the bride & grooms suites are amazing! so big and have everything you could need on your big day. They have so many stocked decor items for you to choose from. They set up EVERYTHING for you on the big day. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of because Lisa and her team took care of it all. They made our day very stress free. Nothing bad to say about this place. They gave us our perfect wedding day, and for that, we cannot thank John & Lisa enough.
Lisa, John, and their staff were nothing short of AMAZING to work with!! Our wedding day was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Guests raves about the food, the view and how nice the entire night was. I am constantly recommending this venue to anyone engaged couple I know.
My husband and I got married at Superstition Manor last month and it was the most amazing experience. Sadly our coordinator left a few days before our wedding. Needless to say as a bride I immediately went into panic mode. I learned quickly that was not necessary though. The way that Cara and the other coordinators jumped right in to handle everything was absolutely spectacular. We had one meeting with Cara and she knew exactly what we wanted and had all of our info. The day of our wedding everything turned out better then I ever could have imagined. It was beautiful and they made sure everything ran smoothly and was just as we wanted it. My husband and I have had more guest approach us about how perfect our wedding was. I couldn't have asked for more from a venue or the people that work there and I would recommend them to any of my friends and family getting married in the future.
My husband and I got married there in 2016. The staff were all really nice and the venue is beautiful! My issue is that the bride and groom suites were supposed to have TVs and DVD players but the DVD players weren't working. I was a bit disappointed that my coordinator didn't pass on the guys' flowers to them and that my bridesmaids had to do that right before the ceremony. The ring bearers and flowers also wouldn't have gotten their items unless I asked right before the ceremony. Other than that everything ran really smoothly!!
Amazing venue! Unbelievable views! The most wonderful couple owns and operates this venue and I was completely blown away by their down to earth, unpretentious, generous nature and attention to every detail. My daughter and brand new Son-in-law were married here last weekend and we couldn't have been happier with every aspect of the planning, service, venue, hospitality, and attention. We searched high and low all over the valley but nothing came close to this as far as beauty, service, price and ease. Everything is done for you here and done just the way you want. The food was delicious, the place is gorgeous and you will not find a better value or quality anywhere. I cannot say enough about John and Lisa and the entire staff at Superstition Manor. I have 3 more children coming up the ranks and I know when the time comes, I won't need to look anywhere else. Trust me when I say, you will be thrilled if you choose Superstition Manor for your wedding!
This venue is beautiful! Lisa and her family were amazing to work with. We planned our wedding from out of state and she was so patient and flexible with us. They set everything up and added little decor touches that I hadn’t even thought about. All the linens and decorations you could possibly want are included. It’s a one-stop-shop for everything you need. I was so amazed and so, so grateful we did our wedding here! It was beautiful.
Best Venue we could have ever picked! The place is beautiful, they tons of decorations for you to pick from and I can not say enough about of coordinator, Brittany, she was amazing! Highly recommend this venue!
Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! John, Lia, their family, and their staff took care of everything and really made sure we relaxed on our day. This venue is gorgeous with unlimited photo opportunities!! Highly recommend
Our wedding date is December 2018 and we are so excited! Lisa has been amazing trying to help us figure out a date because we really wanted a Saturday but it was too late when we tried to book! Lisa has done everything possible to find us a Saturday but they were booked so she helped us to be comfortable with a Friday and made that Friday worthwhile. Thank you for all that you did to help us find our date!!!!! More reviews to come with more planning me do!
My husband and I got married last year at this venue. We looked at over ten places, and they were all equally beautiful. But what set apart this place was our coordinator, michelle provencio. She was the only one who treated us like people instead of just another day at work. She was excited for us and asked to hear about our story (the others barely cared for our name). Once we selected this location she was so on top of everything for my wedding, I had everything done early! She even helped me make some center pieces exactly how we wanted them. And the day of? AMAZING. she was everywhere! Making sure every little detail was perfect for us. I couldn't of picked a better place or coordinator. If ever we re-new our vows, she is who I'll be hunting down to help me.
The place was beautiful - some of the other staff, not so nice. :/
My husband and I got married here this past April and I just have to say, we had such an incredible experience! Honestly, our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without our amazing coordinator Michelle! She was always so reassuring, helped me through every step, met with me multiple times to make sure that everything was how I wanted it, and was so graciously willing that change things around every time I changed my mind. She was one of the biggest reasons our wedding day was perfect, we truly couldn't have done it without her! For anyone looking to have their wedding here in the future, you twill absolutely love the venue and you NEED Michelle as your coordinator!
I had my wedding here on 09/24/2017and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was and no body was wrong. This venue is absolutely stunning. I got the all inclusive package and did not have to worry about a thing. They had all the decorations I could think of. The bridal and groom suites were amazing. This place is just perfect.
Lisa and John were SO AMAZING I couldn't have asked for a better venue they did everything for us and I mean everything and made it so easy! They knew we wanted country rustic and we got that! John had just built a brand new Candy Bar, Cake Stand, and Sweet Heart table! They made us feel like family and answered all my many, many questions immediately through text! They literally have a mini hobby lobby of decorations to make your special day exactly what you want! Lisa and John I will recommend you to anyone and everyone!
I'm getting married next year and I've been absolutely satisfied with the service The Superstition manor has provided! The location is gorgeous and our coordinator gave three tours around the facility for the grooms side and mine! It's a very professional business and Cara has answered every single question I could think of! I'm very thankful we've found this location and look forward to working with Cara in the future!
The owners truly care about every single one of their brides. From the time or booking, through every appointment, and the day of our wedding, they made sure everything was perfect and treated us as if we are a part of their family. I can't thank them enough for giving me the most perfect day!
Beautiful facility, amazing views, and they were so easy to work with! They have me my dream wedding and it was so stress free. They handled all the details and made everything look like a fairytale! My guest as still talking about how much fun they had and how great the food was! Highly recommend!
My husband and I just had our wedding here Saturday night, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and everyone I met or worked with at SM. From the second I contacted SM, John Burns, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating - he even met us at the venue on his day off to show us around and we were immediately hooked and booked with them that very day! Michelle W. was our wedding coordinator and I never had to question whether our wedding was in good hands or not. She and I were in contact the entire time during the wedding planning and she shared amazing decorating ideas that made the night that much more special. I don't think Michelle ever stopped working or even took a moment to breathe! Even when there were last minute changes due to weather, Michelle never missed a beat and juggled multiple tasks at once, and the evening went off without a hitch. I simply LOVE her. The food was delicious and the chef even came out to chat with us and to make sure everything was cooked the way we liked it. There were so many other people that we met briefly along the way and each one of them were friendly, helpful and attentive. People were raving about how beautiful the venue was, the photographs turned out amazing and the photo booth was a huge hit for both young and old! SM set the stage for the dream wedding we've been waiting for for a long time. Many thank yous to all!
Take the bad reviews to heart, we didn't and got burned by it. You can do a lot better for the amount you are going to spend. Find a place that cares about your big day as much as you do. Superstition Manor only wants your money, and they aren't even willing to work that hard for it. Really pathetic experiences the more we got to know them.
We spent a lot of money and made our wedding look good, but still got treated poorly, and worse our guests were treated poorly. It was like we worked for them and not the other way around. A $10K or even $20K+ event shouldn't be a DIY experience in which the staff is rude and a hinderance to pulling off the day the bride dreams of.
Now getting going, you've got much better places to look at!
