Sutton Barn at Rolling Meadows Golf Course

Sutton Barn gave us the wedding of our dreams! It was the only venue we looked at in person….my husband was smiling huge and I left feeling very emotional-I knew we had to be married there! Meeting Susan, she knew everything! She had a wedding wrapped up on a big red bow! Vendor suggestions-from flowers, photography, food, music. The cost having your wedding there, with all the amenities, it didn’t feel as overwhelming as I envisioned. Beautiful place for an onsite ceremony. Beautiful landscaping for pictures. Laura-my coordinator. She is incredible! She truly wants what you want for your wedding. I entrusted all of my hopes and dreams for my wedding day in her hands and I am still in awe of our day. My family and friends were blown way. Who knew this little slice of heaven was here! It’s so dreamy! Sutton Barn is a place you just need to see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Magical is how I’d describe it.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Sam was the most amazing coordinator a bride could hope for! She brought my vision to life!!! Very organized!! The venue is beautiful, rustic, elegant, romantic and Fun all in one! We have 2 young boys, it was kid friendly. Decor package was a great perk! Beautiful spot to wait with your bridesmaids. Susan and Laura were both amazing to work with along with the rest of the staff the day of our wedding. Laura went above and beyond not only the day of but in general helping me get things together when I had questions. We are still getting so many compliments on everything a week later. It was truly the best day and it wouldn’t have been the same with out everyone at Sutton Barn

Sutton Barn was beautiful and the perfect spot for our wedding!! Susan has a wonderful team working with her and my guests have not stopped talking about how perfect of a spot it was to get married. Sutton Barn made our wedding an absolute dream! Not only was it stunning but Susan, Laura, and Samantha were so easy to work with. The barn and outside surrounding area was beautiful and well-maintained. We got so many compliments about it. Susan, Laura, and Samantha alleviated so much wedding-planning stress and coordinated everything flawlessly. We felt in such good hands the day of the wedding. We were able to be the first ones to use the on-site bridal house, Sutton House, which helped tremendously. There was so much space to get ready and just hangout. The kitchen allowed for us to bring our own food and drinks and we were able to spend the morning of the wedding comfortably. We were able to get some cute getting ready photos, our first look, and read private vows all in the back of Sutton House. Plus there is chicken pen - which was super fun! Another huge perk was that they offer a decoration package that I highly recommend! I had zero confidence in my ability to decorate and I was so glad I was able to leave it up to them. They had tons to choose from and were able to decorate flawlessly and it turned out so cute. The ceremony area was beautifully set under the decorated arch near a pond that was very dreamy. We chose to use their greenery wall, corn-hole boards, and fire pits that made for such a warm welcoming ambiance. We were really looking for a beautiful yet casual backyard-style vibe and Sutton Barn was the perfect mixture of both. We really couldn’t be happier with how our big day turned out. We got married at Sutton Barn 10/7/23 and it was the best day ever! I wanted a venue that was outdoors and didn’t feel like you were trapped in a banquet hall. With the unpredictable Michigan weather, this can be challenging, but Sutton Barn has all the bases covered. The tent area has new concrete so you don’t have to worry about mud, most of the areas are covered as well in case it rains, and they offer a heating package with tent and patio heaters and propane fireplaces. All of our guests said it was such an awesome and beautiful venue. Susan was so great to work with and made the planning so easy. We had Sam as our coordinator and she was amazing. She kept us on track and we didn’t have any hiccups along the way. I highly suggest their décor package as it includes use of their décor items and also set up/tear down. Sam decorated the venue so beautifully and all the lights made it stunning at night. We had so much fun and our guests raved about our night!

My husband and I just got married at Sutton Barn and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! We learned that you can’t control everything on your wedding day, including the weather. The forecast called for 80% rain the week leading up to the wedding so it was time to discuss options. Samantha and her team were absolutely amazing when it came time to move the ceremony under the tent instead of at the water site like we originally planned. The ceremony site turned out more beautiful than we could’ve imagined!! Sam did a wonderful job decorating and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We also absolutely adored our photographer Kelly - Keepers By Kelly Photography and Ed the DJ guy was great as well. We would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Sutton Barn!! P.s. the rain ended up stopping so we still were able to get some great pictures at our original ceremony site and on the grounds!

Sutton barn was a 12/10 selection for our wedding! It had everything to offer that we were looking for and then some. First of all, it’s located on a golf course with beautiful views of willow trees and a small pond. There are endless photo opportunities with the rustic/ boho/ barn feel meeting a beautiful outdoor- industrial feel patio! We got married in a rather cold and rainy October day, and not a single guest complained! They actually commended the use of heaters and patio overhang/ patio umbrellas that kept everyone happy and cozy. They do also offer bonfires and s’mores options for fall weddings! I was in love with this venue the moment we walked through in April 2022, we came back and booked as soon as possible for 2023 and were so excited to start planning! I worked with their in house coordinator, Sam, who is outstanding-! She assisted my waffling personality and was able to deliver on my vision! She kept me in the loop & on track with planning, she took care of EVERYTHING the day of and I couldn’t thank her enough for this. They are very flexible, open and honest. I can truly say I trusted them like family by time the wedding came. She was able to calm my pre wedding stress nerves and offered to help anywhere she could. Thank you Sutton for a truly beautiful wedding & the best staff I could have asked for. Timely, dependable and relaxed. Just what you want and need for your wedding day!

I got married this September 2023, and let me tell you….. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! At first I thought I was a DIY kind of gal…. After realizing how much planning a wedding actually takes and how much stuff you have to acquire I panicked. Thank goodness I picked this venue to get married at because they have EVERYTHING YOU NEED (at a reasonable price). They also have very good connections with vendors. We used a couple and everyone was amazing. They also have a wedding planner you can use through the venue. Let me tell you Sam the wedding planner put together a miracle for me. She literally kept me in line AND DID EVERYTHING + MORE!!! If you’re anything like me where you’re looking to plan the best party ever, then I highly recommend this place. Throughout the whole wedding process I was not stressed out, they communicated well, and I made friends that will last a life time from this place. Lastly, we have a new favorite golf course that we visit very frequently. Things that we added on: (very reasonably priced) -set up/take down of everything -paid to use there decorations (literally so much to choose from and very cute. Worth every penny) -photo wall -cigar bar -corn hole -space heaters -late night pizza Love Jen :)

We had our wedding here on 9/15/23, and let me tell you they are the best. Highly recommend everything about this place. Absolutely breathtaking of a place and the people that work there are amazing. Samantha is just an absolute GEM. Susan is an ANGEL. And everyone else that works there is INCREDIBLE. I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work on making our wedding an absolute vision.

We had a fantastic wedding at Sutton Barn this past weekend! Highly recommend the venue. Susan and Samantha were fantastic and took care of everything from setup to making sure the couple had everything they wanted, to making sure the vendors knew what they needed to do and they even took control of the cleanup. Our guests had a great time and we had multiple compliments all night long! If you’re planning on using this venue, I highly recommend you take advantage of the vendors they recommend, from the photographer to the DJ to the shuttle company to the charcuterie board vendor. It was a perfect day! If I could give them more stars they’d have a million plus!!😊🥰

Could not have chosen a better venue and a better day! This venue is absolutely gorgeous! I wanted to get married in a barn and my husband a golf course and this was both! Susan (the owner) was always very responsive whenever I had questions and very accommodating to any ideas I had. We could not have done anything without our coordinator Laura. I wasn’t sure a coordinator was necessary, but seeing all the things she did it absolutely is!!! She was the absolute best!! There are not enough good words in the world to say about everything she did for us so that our day ran smoothly! We chose to add on the decor package and I’m so glad we did! The decor was beautiful and it was so nice not to have to set up or take down a single thing! I cannot say more good things about this venue and the people who help you! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Just tied the knot in Sutton Barn, Whitmore lake!!! 7.28.23 When I first visit Sutton I must say I didn’t get too excited, the barn looks small outside but I wasn’t trying to have my wedding indoor so I still went in to check. When I met Susan and gave us a tour, I didn’t have a second thought or check another venue anymore. First of all Id like to say Susan, the owner is so nice and very accommodating!! Every time I texted her she was quick to respond. Her bartender staff, they are awesome! They made sure that Im always okay and is constantly asking me If I need anything. Everybody loves the place and keep asking me how did I find it. Its like a hidden gem! We had the best night and did not feel worried at all just like how I wanted our wedding to be. Last but not the least, my coordinator Laura! Oh my gosh.. words are not enough to describe her. You have to meet her!!! She is the best! She also did exactly what I just wanted for the decor and the set up was all perfect for me. We will be forever grateful for her for making our big day extra special! We are now Mr. & Mrs., as of 7.8.2023. Sutton Barn Wedding is and was amazing for our wedding day! From the moment my now husband and I, met Susan the owner and Samantha the wedding coordinator, we both felt so assured we would have a beautiful and stress free wedding . There are so many good things I can say about Sutton Barn. Communication was always open from the very start, the ease of choosing preferred vendors that have worked with them before and being financially reasonable, working with Samantha the wedding coordinator, was awesome! She helped me plan my perfect wedding from the very start. Communication , attention to detail, checking in on me during the planning, quick responses to questions, making sure I was on point with my timeline, using easy wedding software, that she showed me how to use, to plan the perfect wedding. Samantha made my husband and I feel like a king and queen on our wedding day. Samantha brought us water, or a drink from the bar multiple times. She asked us how we were doing throughout the day and night. I can literally go on and on about Sutton Barn. The Venue is absolutely stunning! We received so many compliments from family and friends about our wedding day. The staff at Sutton Barn was also so nice. If you would like a experience like no other check out Sutton Barn! My wedding was absolutely perfect! The team at Sutton Barn were professional, timely, organized and had everything running so smoothly. They worked with me for months before the event to help ease any nerves, answer and questions and for everything to run smoothly. Everything was decorated beautifully. I highly recommend using their wedding coordinator Samantha as she is amazing. Her decor pack helped me save lots of money while having everything I wanted for our wedding. Our guests gave us TONS of compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how flawlessly everything went. There were no hiccups. If I were to ever recommend any wedding venue to anyone, this would be the place! We were so happy with how our wedding turned out. Best night ever.

We got married 6.2.23 and it was PERFECT! The second I found Sutton Barn I fell in love with it and they truly made us feel like family. Our wedding coordinator Sam and owner Susan were there every step of the way and helped make our day so special! Sam made every one of my visions come to life and brought ideas to us that I wouldn’t have even thought of that really pulled everything together! The day of the wedding Sam was constantly checking in with my husband and I and made sure we had food, water and anything else we needed. We had SO many compliments from our guests about the amazing set up of the venue, and the incredible staff! Many told us it was their favorite wedding they have been to! We are so grateful to have had our wedding at Sutton Barn!

6.3.23 we tied the knot! Our wedding day was truly everything we ever imagined at Sutton barn! This was the perfect setup for our big day and and I can’t thank our wedding coordination Samantha and owner Susan enough for making our day everything we ever wanted! Sam took my boho/rustic vision and made it a reality for our reception! It was better than I ever could have imagined, she’s truly amazing and passionate at what she does! As soon as I arrived she made sure me, my husband, and our entire bridal party had everything we needed such as food water drinks etc! Everyone had so much fun with the outdoor setup/ cornhole/ bonfire! We had more than half of our guest count still there when the night ended which is super rare for weddings now of days! We had so many people coming up to us telling us that that was the best wedding they had ever been too. Everyone loved the outdoor rustic vibe that Sutton barn had to offer including all the nice staffing and the overall relaxing environment of the wedding with so many options for guests 😊 I highly recommend Sutton barn for your dream wedding, you will not be disappointed!

I have been a wedding officiant for 11 years and have work with many venues. I can honestly say that working with Sutton Barn has been my best experience. Susan, Samantha and the entire staff work together to make sure every detail is taken care of for each couple, and the venue is wonderful. I would recommend Sutton barn to ANY couple .

Wow is all that we can say! My husband and I just had our wedding at the Sutton Barn this October 2022. Right from the beginning everyone was fantastic to work with. The grounds are truly beautiful and the wedding coordinator Sam is amazing. I used the rustic decor package and gave her little guidance on exactly how I wanted everything to look, as I was exhausted and out of ideas. She exceed my expectations with what she created for our special day. She was accommodating, gave great ideas and did not make me feel any pressure with her suggestions. Overall this day was truly amazing and we owe a lot to the team at Sutton Barn.

When we became newly engaged I dove right into wedding planning. We knew we wanted the date October 1st, 2022 to be our date so as soon as we found Suttons barn in early 2020 and they had our date available we immediately put a deposit down. I had an envision of what I wanted my wedding day to look like and even created a Pinterest board of hundreds of ideas from aisle decor, pumpkins, table decor to hair and makeup. I decided to hire Samantha mainly to help with the decor set up and tear down as I knew this was already money well spent just in those tasks alone. I had many conversations with Susan and Samantha about my envision, each time hesitant to if it would actually look the same day of as I have pictured in my head. It was very hard for me to give up all control and trust that Samantha would deliver, she reassured me each time that it would be perfect and as she had said many times to me “I gotcha ya girl”. Cut to the day of the wedding - I stepped off the limo bus at Sutton’s barn and was absolutely blown away and brought to tears at how absolutely beautiful the venue for my wedding was set up! It was PERFECT and EXACTLY how I envisioned it!!!! The details at the ceremony site were perfect with hay bales, mums and pumpkins exactly how I envisioned it, the set up in the tent was beautiful, each table looked beautiful and exactly how I envisioned it, the greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our photo booth and neon sign, the whiskey barrels were placed perfectly where I wanted them, the gift table, desert table and food set up was PERFECT! Our day was the most perfect day and we were told by so many guest how beautiful this place was and how beautiful the wedding was and I 100000% owe that all to Samantha and Susan for delivering me and my husband the most perfect day! They handled everything and worked so hard to make my day (and many other brides) day absolutely breathtaking! I will forever be grateful to both Susan and Samantha for making our wedding so memorable to not only me but all our family and guest! Thank you ladies from the bottom of our hearts for all the hard work, attention to detail, dedication, passion and most of all the love you put into making our wedding day so special and beautiful! I also choose to purchase Samantha’s decor package as it greatly helped take any pressure off from me to buy all the extra decorations when Sam had everything you could ever want for decor. Her wide variety of decorations to choose from we’re amazing and honestly was so worth purchasing the package. Only regret I have after the wedding was I wished it lasted longer, it was such a beautiful day/evening and that was all thanks to these beautiful ladies! ❤️❤️

This was the perfect wedding venue! Every single detail was well thought out and executed flawlessly. There was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable, and even though it was cold that day, they had more than enough heaters to keep everyone warm throughout the night. The staff on hand was super helpful and accommodating with anything we needed, and they made planning the wedding a breeze. I’d definitely recommend Sutton Barn for your wedding!

Samantha and Susan were beyond helpful when helping us plan and execute our wedding! The venue is beautiful and the staff is very friendly to wedding guests. Would highly recommend to others. Samantha is an amazing wedding planner and truly helped us plan every little detail and made our night magical.

We had our ceremony and reception at Sutton Barn and literally everything went off without any problems. Samantha is the coordinator and she's worth every penny and then some. Getting the decor package was totally worth it just for the set up and breakdown alone, not to mention all the beautiful stuff she has available. Susan was always readily available if necessary and the whole experience was easy with them. The built in decor with the landscape is beautiful. They have back up plans for the weather and backup generators if necessary. 20/10 experience!

Sutton Barn is the place to have your wedding! The Sutton barn team, Susan & Samantha made our day unforgettable. From the second we arrived to the venue on our wedding day, Samantha made everything look beautiful & was always around to grab anything that my husband or I could need. I couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else! The venue was PERFECT and was beyond my expectations. Samantha is an absolute gem and I'm so unbelievably happy she coordinated my wedding. Our planning sessions were always so fun and she took the time to really understand how I wanted the big day to go and what my type of style was. She had great recommendations and the day went perfectly! If anything went wrong, I had no idea, and I think that is a true testament of what an amazing planner Samantha is. She really went above and beyond and I would recommend her to any bride who is looking for the best in Michigan!

Beautiful venue with amazing owner/staff. The layout is perfect for an outdoor wedding and our guests had a great time! Trust me, you need a day-of-coordinator, and Samantha is one of the best! She will keep you informed, communicate with your vendors, listen to your requests, and decorate perfectly for your day. Their preferred vendors are also great - Keepers by Kelly Photography, PrimOvations catering, and DJ Pat Moore are some of the best in the business. Our wedding day was honestly perfect! Sutton Barn, where can I even begin. My wedding day lived beyond its expectations. The whole entire day from start to finish was more then a girl could have ever dreamed. It was perfect in every way you can possible imagine. Sam and Susan made all my dreams become a reality into a day that could not have been more perfect. Sam, where do I start. She went above and beyond for me. She made sure the day went perfect. She set up the whole entire venue and it was breathtaking to where I still cannot stop talking about it a month later, she makes your dream wedding become a reality. And Susan did an amazing job with all the wonderful new updates they have made and make the venue the best it could possibly be. These two have made my dream wedding come true. Sutton barn was the perfect spot for my wedding I would not have had it anywhere else. The staff and the venue were amazing!

SPEECHLESS! Really though, I am. Trying to write this review is tough because there aren’t enough words to describe how great our experience was, getting married at Sutton Barn. It was not only a unique and beautiful setting - Samantha, Susan and the entire family at Sutton Barn made the decision to host our wedding and 175 guests there, the easiest choice. If you get married here, your guests will rave about it and you will have so much support from the time of planning until your magical day. We can’t thank Samantha and Susan enough for everything. Funny story - and also an example of what I mean: before my ceremony began, my dress was bugging me and I needed a little more support in the bra/lady area ;) Samantha actually ran out and brought back what I needed from her home close by. It’s those little things that I won’t forget. Thank you so much! I wish we could re-live this day over and over.

Sutton Barn, Susan, and Samantha all helped me and my now-husband have the BEST day of our entire lives! Our day was perfect and I couldn't have been happier. The venue was set up beautifully, the coordination and preparation was flawless, and Susan and Samantha did everything they could to accommodate our requests. Susan and Samantha both checked in frequently to make sure things were on track prior to the wedding. Both were available and responsive any time I had questions! On the wedding day, Samantha kept everything on track and was frequently checking on me and my husband to see how we were doing/if we needed anything. There were no surprise costs (everything was very reasonable) and Susan and Samantha have created and maintained great relationships with multiple vendors. You can also tell Susan and Samantha genuinely love helping create weddings here. If I could do it all over, I would pick Sutton Barn, Susan, and Samantha again and again! This place and the people are all amazing!

I have one word.... AMAZING! From the first time Susan walked us through the venue we knew that Sutton Barn was where we wanted to be Married. We teamed up with Sam (in-house coordinator) and she walked us through every step and detail until the very end. Our day turned out lovely. From the decor to the preferred venues that work with Sutton Barn it was an overall amazing experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested.

I don’t even know where to begin about raving over Samantha & Susan at Sutton Barn! They are seriously AMAZING! Anytime I felt stressed or didn’t know what to do they responded immediately with reassurance and guidance. Samantha’s coordination is top notch. She was always checking up on me! I can happily say we’re good friends now. They have a decor package with an insane amount of all types of decor that I highly recommend you take advantage of! Samantha was quick to ensure everything I envisioned was going to happen. And she DELIVERED! It down poured a couple hours before my ceremony but she still made me feel comfortable with the ceremony spot change! I was honestly unsure in the beginning if I needed a day of coordinator and now I don’t know what I would have done without one. She really helped make my wedding dreams come true. You can tell both Susan and Samantha really take pride in what they do and love their brides. I highly recommend Sutton Barn and Samantha!

Simply put, we could not have picked a better wedding venue! Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous, but Susan, Samantha, and the rest of the Sutton Barn staff make sure your day is enjoyable and stress free from start to finish. They are truly on your team and want your day to be just how you imagined. Zero exaggeration - I did not stress once on our wedding day. It was so effortlessly fun, joyous, and stunning. As a couple who postponed multiple times due to Covid (and originally had a different venue!), we felt that we really hit the jackpot by finding Sutton Barn. Our day was everything we dreamed of and more.

We got married here at the end of May and we can not recommend this venue enough!! We comfortably hosted 150 people and received SO many compliments on how relaxed and unique this beautiful outdoor venue was. Susan has done a wonderful job continuing to update the grounds and prepare for any type of weather. We also had multiple opportunities to go out and visit her during the year leading up to see all the great renovations they have made. Hiring Samantha to help with our coordinating was also the best decision we could have made. She is AWESOME, and went above and beyond what we expected her to do. We felt so supported all year, and she did so much for us in the weeks leading up, to make our day as easy going as possible!!

Sutton Barn was the most perfect place for our wedding! We had the most special wedding thanks to Susan, Samantha, and the Sutton Barn staff! The venue speaks for itself and is absolutely beautiful. The staff are all so attentive and helpful with your big day and everything leading up to it. We hired Samantha as our month of coordinator and she is AN ABSOLUTE ROCKSTAR! Our wedding day had 100% chance of rain and she made sure everything was handeled and I didn't stress about it at all on my big day. She was so helpful and I truly couldn't of imagined our day without all her help. Sutton Barn & staff will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect!

We just had our wedding here and had a great experience! We had about 100 people and the venue was a great size for that. Susan and her family who run the venue work really well together, especially if you use their recommended vendors (Prim Ovations for catering and Pat as the DJ) and the bartenders were a lot of fun. That being said, Sam was the glue who held everything together for all of the small details of the wedding. She was always responsive and willing to answer our questions, which was great, but was nothing compared to all of the tiny things she did on the day of to make our day beautiful and worry-free. We gave her a very loose idea of what to do with the decor and she put tons of little extra touches on it that tied everything together so well. She was around the whole night to keep things on schedule, answer guests' questions, bustle my dress, make sure we had drinks/food, and any other little detail you could think of. Most of all, we didn't have to convince our friends and family to come early or stay late to help decorate which they really appreciated. We had our wedding during a very rainy October, but the venue is set up to have the ceremony and reception no matter what the weather is, which was a huge relief during the planning process. (I will say that the ceremony aisle and the surrounding outdoor area was soaked which made taking our wedding party photos pretty interesting!) The major downsides for us were the limited flexibility on the alcohol packages and the fact that we couldn't get ready on site, but we knew both of those things in advance, before we ever booked the venue. We did BBQ for dinner, Grand Traverse Pies for dessert, late night pizza and s'mores/bonfires pits and it was really fun to be able to customize all those things to make our day perfect. Thanks to everyone at Sutton Barn - we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sutton Barn is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue. We were so glad we found them. As soon as I saw it in person I knew I had to book it. It's such a unique venue - it's not a traditional "barn" and we loved that. The owner Susan is very friendly and accommodating and makes it feel like you are working with family. We hired Samantha (Sutton's Venue Coordinator) and she truly did a wonderful job. They are a newer venue and were very open to feedback and did everything they could to make our day special and go off without a hitch. We planned the wedding from out of state and that presented some challenges, as did our style (we are not very traditional) but they rose to the occasion and executed a perfect day for us. Our day turned out absolutely perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing! A couple of things to note: This venue is family-owned and operated! We got a lot more personalization and personal touches than we would have from a more traditional venue. Seeing the venue in person is breathtaking and Susan and Samantha continue to add or make improvements all the time but this place has serious charm. The stone cellar and pond overlook are breathtaking! If it's not already, it will be a premiere rustic Michigan wedding venue and a hot commodity very shortly. There is not a private pre-event space that is locked away - it's a lofted space inside so you and your bridal party will not be able to spend the day getting ready there before (limited power, no door) so plan for that - they are very straightforward in letting you know that, too! There is limited power for anything over a 3piece band - we had a 5 piece band ( + sound, MC) - we were able to make it work (no lights, etc.) but it's something to keep in mind - you'll need a small band or DJ! You should 100% hire Samantha - it will save you time, energy, and money in the long run. She was excellent and knows what she is doing - she worked very hard and made everything perfect for us. They have a great decor package - if you're interested see what they have to offer in person and pick things out! We did and loved it - this also required minimal additional decor purchases on our end aside from florals! 10000/10 venue!

Sutton Barn was such a beautiful wedding venue. They absolutely met our expectations visually As to what we were wanting for our big day. They went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking. I would recommend Sutton Barn and their Wedding Coordinator Samantha to any new bride. Thank you so much again!

Our wedding was on 09/24/2021 and the day could not have gone any better. This venue was gorgeous and we got many compliments from our family and friends. The day of coordinator, Sam, ensured all of the vendors involved were in order and it all ran smoothly. The rustic appeal was spot on and the donut wall was amazing! We definitely recommend this venue to others looking to take the big leap!

Making the decision to have our wedding at Sutton Barn was hands down the best decision we made in our planning process! From start to finish, the Sutton Barn team was kind, courteous and beyond helpful in every aspect of our wedding day. Not only did our guests rave about how gorgeous the venue was, but the bartender's quick service ensured there was never a line and the coordinator Samantha worked her magic in all other details. Samantha worked with all of our vendors so they knew what the expect on the day of, she also set up and tore down all the decorations for our special day, and made sure my new husband and I never felt any stress on the day of. She is beyond worth her weight in gold on your wedding day, and we cannot recommend her enough! The entire celebration would not be possible without this astonishing Sutton Barn team. Susan, Samantha, Shawn and the whole bar staff truly made the day. We don't have our pictures back yet, but I promise you all that they are Pinterest worthy. Do yourself a favor and hire this amazing staff, it will be well worth it!

My husband and I are SO glad we picked Sutton Barn for our wedding on 8/21/21. From the moment we toured the venue almost a year ago we fell in love with the atmosphere/ good vibes. I thought something was wrong with me because I felt nothing when we toured other venues, when I walked into the venue for the first time at Sutton Barn I cried!! We have received nothing but compliments/positive feedback from our 130 guests that attended. Everyone had so much fun. You can really make the space your own! I loved the twinkling lights, beautiful outdoor tent, & rustic/unique barn. Their coordinator Samantha made our day FLAWLESS. Susan and Samantha are both easy to work with and very thorough. Sutton Barn at Rolling Meadows Golf Course goes above and beyond for their couples. My husband and I stumbled upon this golf course when we relocated to Ann Arbor, MI 2 years ago. It quickly became our absolute favorite course on this side of the state. The staff were always friendly and accommodating, the location was gorgeous, and the natural beauty stood out. When we found out this was a venue for a wedding we quickly booked it. Susan Ianni (owner) and our wedding coordinator Samantha Zeisler exceeded any expectations or visions we had for our wedding. The first time I met them they had a glass of wine for me waiting and an active plan in place to make this the best and least stressful experience. I knew we were in the best hands. My husband and I are both extremely busy nurses and as you can imagine working during COVID at U of M creates a very demanding and exhausting work environment so trying to plan a wedding needed to be enjoyable! Both Susan and Sam are so personable they became much more than our vendors, they became family and friends. They are easily accessible (gave their personable cell phones) and made sure we stuck to our timeline leading up to the wedding and the day of. Sam kept us in line making sure we had everything planned and ready to go down to the very last details. She met with us by zoom and then in person multiple times to ensure that our vision was coming to life. She was able to hook us up with vendors that they knew and trusted while respecting our budget and finances. These two worked tirelessly with us to make sure we would have the best day ever. We opted for the decor package which I would 100000% recommend. This means you can use any and all decor that their is available at Sutton Barn- let me tell you that no matter your theme/ vision they have it ALL! Sam also coordinated with all of our other vendors (catering, photography, videography, DJ, floral, etc) and kept everyone in the loop in a streamline of communication so my husband and I wouldn't have to worry about closing the loop with multiple vendors. The week before the wedding I realized I wanted a few more florals than I had anticipated and because of our work schedules I wouldn't be able to have them delivered to our house to care for them. Sam had me send them directly to her personal address and cared for the florals the week of the wedding!!! This is the kind of coordinator and human she is- she has the very best heart! The week of the wedding, rehearsal day and wedding day she made sure everyone knew their part and organized everyone and everything with ease. I was in happy tears when I arrived and saw how gorgeously she and her team had decorated the venue. Our vision didn't just come to life, it was better than anything we could ever have imagined! Our wedding day was the absolute best day of our lives from the decor, the ceremony, the reception, the wait and bar staff, the flow of the day, their ability to be flexible and anticipate the needs of their couples and their guests is immaculate. I wish we could do this day over and over again! Thank you Sam, Susan, and Sutton Barn for making our dream wedding come true!

Susan was the nicest and easiest person to get along with. She explained everything in detail and showed us around the venue. The first time we stepped foot onto the Sutton Barn at Rolling Meadows Golf Course property, we were quite impressed with the rustic charm and beautiful scenery. Susan helped us select a date then wrote up the contract and she did not miss a beat going over every fine detail. She explained how a coordinator was a "must have" for her venue. And I wondered, Why? I thought; why certainly I could handle all these little details myself. I now know there is absolutely no way I could've done all that on the wedding day with all the other small details I had to do the day the wedding. Susan said we could hire our own coordinator but highly recommended Samantha the wedding coordinator that works with her. So we went on board with Samantha and let me tell you that she is WORTH HER WEIGHT IN GOLD!!! All her hard work planning this event was remarkable! Every single detail was thought out thoroughly by Samantha including keeping in contact with all the vendors and most importantly, Samantha and her crew set up the entire venue that morning and afternoon and stayed until the very end making sure everything was perfect. It is because they know the venue so well, that no one else could have done the job as well as she did. It is the absolute best money I've ever spent and the wedding would've collapsed had I tried to do it myself or had a friend/relative try to do it without the vast knowledge and experience of Samantha! Thank you Susan for highly recommending her! Susan also recommended Pat the D.J. OMG!!! Pat was phenomenal! He kept everyone entertained and made the reception upbeat and was friendly and knew every song we wanted played and he did it with a contagious smile. From the sound at the ceremony site, to announcing the bridal party and all into the night, Pat was a hit! Susan also recommended PrimeOvations Catering. Just WOW! We went with PrimeOvations Pit Boss BBQ with 3 meats, and all the sides. We got so many compliments on the delicious food! Everyone loved it! A special shout out to Sam Klos Wedding Films, photographer/videographer in Allen Park, MI (Sam is the absolute best in the business!) And Tom from Flowers on the Avenue in Allen Park who delivered the most beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and table centerpieces. And to the Officiant, Charles Holt of Taylor, MI for making sure the ceremony was perfect. Also to Happy Snap Photo Booth who set up an awesome Vintage Shasta Trailer Photo Booth that was such a hit! Never have I received so many compliments than with this Venue and these vendors. Together they all worked and each did their part to make the day so successful. It's days later and people are still calling me and telling it was the best wedding they had ever attended! From the beautiful scenery at Sutton Barn at Rolling Meadows Golf Course, the ceremony was so beautiful, the reception was fun, laidback and a good time was had by all! Everyone said it was a "breath of fresh air" to go to a wedding at this venue rather than the same old predictable weddings that we have all become bored with. So glad we chose this Venue! Oh! and the icing on the cake was that this Venue is also very competitively priced, You will not find a better Venue in this price range. So if you're on the fence about any of it, please consider my highest recommendation. I promise, you won't be disappointed!

Susan, Samantha, and the entire Sutton Barn team were incredible to work with. We were one of the COVID couples who had to postpone everything from last summer and they were flexible to work with throughout the process. They gave us personalized attention throughout our planning, and Samantha's assistance, decor package, and organization made our day run so smoothly and took off a lot of stress. The venue itself is so beautiful- so many guests raved about it and it was an enchanting setting to celebrate in. And the BBQ buffet from Primovations who Sutton recommended was great- so many compliments. So happy we chose Sutton- a true gem in the greater Ann Arbor area!

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at Sutton Barn on July 3, 2021. They chose Sutton Barn because it was not only a gorgeous setting for a wedding, but the entire event could be held outdoors. This made several guests feel more comfortable attending due to the Covid-19 pandemic. From beginning to end, the day was carefully orchestrated by the Sutton Barn staff to ensure that it was the wedding of the bride and groom's dreams.

Sutton barn was the best venue I could have asked for. Susan, Samantha and the Sutton barn team made my wedding day dreams come true! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married. My friends and family raved about it because it was a new place they had never been and provided a fun exciting and new atmosphere.

Our son and daughter in law were married on June 12, 2021 at Sutton Barn. Samantha and staff were amazing to work with and everything was done to perfection. This staff is the hardest working staff I have every seen. Every detail was handled proficiently! I would highly recommend their beautiful location for any wedding.

We had our wedding here in May, 5 stars all around. Susan and Samantha made everything so easy, the venue was a perfect set up. We couldn’t of asked for a better planner, and the Sutton Barn team made sure it was everything we hoped for.

Planning a wedding during COVID was really stressful not knowing what would happen, what guidelines would be in place, and not feeling confident our day was going to happen. Sutton Barn worked side by side with me when I was having issues with my first venue, but honestly, if I would have known about Susan and Sutton Barn previously, it would have always been my first choice. I was originally going to have an indoor venue, but due to COVID and the run around with my original vendor, my mom and I started doing some research. My family had golfed at Rolling Meadows golf club since we were young and last year my mom had been golfing on a night they had a wedding. I reached out to Susan about our date and she reached out almost immediately. She allowed us to tour the venue during snowy January and sent me tons of information, preferred vendors, and assured me that no matter what we would figure out how to have our special day happen and she would work with us. Susan was a breath of fresh air to work with, flexible, hard-working and helpful. In addition to the service from the owner, I loved the venue's indoor, outdoor feel with lots of separate spaces to eat, drink, dance, play and be with loved ones or watch from a little distance.  The venue is gorgeous and felt very much like Andrew and I, more on the casual side but cleans up nicely! In addition, Samantha, the onsite coordinator was on top of all the details and she even has items you can rent from Sutton Barn for decor like dessert stands, table numbers, rustic tree slices, you name it- she has it! That helped me feel so much relief as I was planning my wedding especially last minute. It was always supposed to happen that we were supposed to have our day at Sutton Barn! I can't sing the praises enough about Susan, Samantha, and the Sutton Barn crew. As a bride, all I wanted was the peace of mind that we could have our day and not worry about COVID and they made this dream a reality. Thank you so much!

I could not be happier with my experience at Sutton Barn with both Susan and Samantha. I was an anxious bride throughout 2020 and each time I had a concern, Susan and Samantha came through with solutions and positivity. Our wedding day had a large drop in temperature suddenly that was unexpected, Susan and Samantha made sure there was a heater for the tent, heaters around the bar and dance floor and it worked out perfectly. Samantha made sure everything ran smoothly the day of and kept us on track as we moved through pictures, ceremony, dinner, dancing, etc. In addition to my personal experience, the venue itself is just gorgeous, it has a welcoming feeling and happiness to it that makes everyone have a blast. I am so happy that we had our wedding here and my husband is now going golfing here often as well :)

This was our second attempt at getting married due to the pandemic and we are SO thankful that we were able to celebrate at Sutton Barn after our first venue did not work out. We went to see Sutton Barn and it was love at first sight. It was everything I imagined in an outdoor reception venue and just what we wanted. We booked Sutton Barn before Covid so we did not have to change much when restrictions were put in place. When changes did come into play Susan was good at communicating them to us and making sure we knew what they were doing to keep us and our guests safe. Susan responds quickly to emails and answers all your questions. Her day of staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend the venue.
