5 months prior to our wedding, I emailed Susan photos of what I wanted our reception flowers to look like. We met twice in person. The photos I gave her were of pale pink and pale ...
peach flowers with a touch of greenery accent. I was disappointed to find white centerpieces with hot pink roses sticking out on either side. The bridesmaid's bouquets were oddly shaped as floppy hydrangeas were used and roses which were poking out of the top instead of being shaped into a more rounded bouquet. The contract did state hydrangeas would be used, but I assumed the mini version as accents amongst roses, not the other way around. The contract also stated "pink" flowers, but I assumed in the pale pink/peach color family as this is what I had provided photos of. Susan had agreed to bring three tall, cylinder vases for the bridesmaids to place their bouquets at the bar at the reception. She did not follow through. There were no vases. The bouquets quickly wilted into limp heaps on the bar. The boutineers and corsages for our groomsmen, fathers, readers, etc. were nowhere to be found before the ceremony. Susan and I had agreed upon a specific location for them to be delivered and even after a thorough search after the ceremony, the flowers were never found. An outstanding invoice of $38 was cancelled after my father called to discuss the $75 worth of missing flowers. The mother's corsages were fine and my bouqet was ok although some of the edges of the roses were browning. I had every confidence in Susan after my meetings with her and to say I was disappointed in the result is an understatement. To get a birthday bouquet wrong is one thing, but to get wedding day flowers wrong is a big deal. She would do herself and her business a favor to heed the feedback of other customers who have noted that the flowers provided were not what was asked for.

ect!! The centerpieces were absolutely amazing - we used pumpkins as our vases and then did a small bouquet on top. They looked phenomenal! I had wanted a waterfall bouquet (which I technically got) but my now husband and I were both under the impression it was going to be done with flowers - not just a few vines. I wasn't as impressed with it but it was still beautiful. So I guess just be sure you're very specific with what you envision (but that's probably true for whoever you use).
She is very quick to respond to you so don't worry about communication. Only real problem we had was she was short with us once due to the fact that she was under a great deal of stress with another wedding that upcoming weekend. Not exactly professional but it only happened once and we're all human. I would still recommend her as a florist.

after the wedding. Some of the centerpieces lasted 5-6 days after the wedding. Susan's prices are also extremely reasonable - she was able to create the look I wanted within my budget. I recommend Susan to any bride.

several weddings where by the end of the night, the flowers look horrible and wilted. All our flowers looked great, even the next morning. Everything was gorgeous.
We kept adding more things to our wedding, more centerpieces for the buffet table, decorations for the arch etc. Susan was very responsive on everything. The price fit our budget too, which was definitely an added bonus.

use during the ceremony she wanted to take the basket I had paid for back to "give to another bride" and didn't include the toss bouquet in the delivery so my wedding coordinator had to pull pieces from the flower arrangements at the last moment. She was also a little snippy with my wedding coordinator as far as the placement of the arrangements and rented columns because I had said one thing before it was in place and when it didn't look right when it was actually put together my coordinator wanted to correct it she was told "That is what the bride wants", when my coordinator had complete permission to make sure things don't look awkward. The change ended up being done after she left. But the flowers were gorgeous.
