is a fabulous backdrop for an outside wedding. We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. The grounds, ballroom- everything was more than we could ever imagine. Bob and his crew did everything possible to make the planning process and big day as easy and smooth as possible. Bob was attentive to all of our needs and answered all our questions (both before and after the big day) He and his staff literally took care of everything- the set up, the tear down, and everything in-between. When the big day arrived, we had a pop up rain shower about 30 minutes before ceremony start time. As soon as the rain shower was done, Bob and his crew were outside drying off the chairs so we could begin as close to scheduled time as possible. Our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful everything was; that and the amazing food. The Summer BBQ buffet was delicious and something a little different from traditional wedding food. Bob and his crew work SO incredibly hard to make your day picture perfect. I would definitely recommend this venue for any future wedding (or event!)

For the rehearsal dinner and day of, the staff took care of everything so we were able to enjoy the time with our family and friends and celebrate our love instead of worrying about the small things. Especially, when a vendor, Indiana Wedding Decorators did not meet their obligations in setting up the center stage back drop properly or with flowers. If it werent for Bob Stout and Morgan (Wedding Planner) fixing their area of the vendor's setups (even after multiple attempts to contact the vendor, Indiana Wedding Decorators which they never returned calls to fix), the main stage and focal view would have completely taken away from everything else for the Wedding Reception. I would highly recommend Swan Lake to provide you with any event venues and services. The entire staff including the resort were professional, polite and warm making us feel at home and made sure this special day satisfied all of our expectations.

On the event day, I worked with Krystal and Bob who did an amazing job of coordinating the wedding despite normal wedding mishaps! Whatever I asked for, they were quick to make it happen. Swan Lake also has a BEAUTIFUL outdoor gazebo area for the ceremony which is the main reason why my husband and I picked it! For the reception, Bob took my vision and set it up exactly how I envisioned! I just wanted to take the time to let all future brides know that this is an amazing and beautiful venue to get married at if you are looking for a scenic getaway weekend 🙂

Bob and the amazing staff at Swan Lake. They made sure that my big day was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It is a one stop shop. They do EVERYTHING for you, and they do an excellent job at it. They have plenty of decorations to pick from so that you don't have to buy a single thing. If I were to do it all over again I would 100000x pick Swan Lake Resort to have my ceremony & reception at! If you are even considering Swan Lake just a little bit, DO IT! I promise you will not regret it :)

I can’t say enough great things about this place and the staff! You will find a beautiful outdoor area on the golf course. The gazebo was a perfect spot to get married with a pond behind it and beautiful greenery and flowers! My husband and father in law along with some other guys, utilized the golf course the day before our wedding and the morning of! With the resort having the hotel, we were able to swim, lay out and enjoy dickeys bar and restaurant while we were there! Definitely a 5 star!!!!

Having the hotel onsite as an options for guests is very convenient, we made a whole weekend out of it and utilized the pool and bonfire pit the day before the wedding. From Swan Lake's multiple beautiful golf courses, the stunning gazebo site, the hotel with all the accommodations, a restaurant and the reception salons, Swan Lake has everything you could possibly need for your dream wedding. It had everything we needed. We started meeting with Taylor and she did the most amazing job of explaining everything, giving us costs and package information, we didn't think they were overly priced for everything they offered, the welcome guides to what Swan Lake includes...decorations and complete set-up and tear down, etc. Swan Lake pretty much does it all for you. We set up the food tasting, which was amazing, and when my fiance and I wanted to try more, she set that up too. She got us going with the hotel blocks and worked with us on that too. Almost all of the family was coming in from out of state. We talked back and forth setting up everything for our day. We concluded our prep and set up with Bob, who did an amazing job as well. He helped clarify and set up the rehearsal dinner and all the needs for that, plus all of the hotel blocks and changes that were made several times. On the day of, we had Mykelle who made sure everything went smoothly, she also helped coordinate the ceremony rehearsal as well. She drove us and our photographer and videographer around the golf course for prime shooting locations. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and it was the most perfect night of our lives. At the end, all the cleanup was done for us and all we had to do was pick up the boxes of items we were keeping and take them home. We stayed extra days to take advantage of the beautiful location and views, pools, and hot tubs. This was our dream wedding and we are still getting compliments on what an amazing wedding it was. We will definitely be coming back.

It was raining the day of our wedding and I had almost lost hope about our outdoor ceremony, but he and the wonderful staff made it happen. I also have to give a huge shout out to Amy! She was so helpful during our rehearsal and gave such great insight. She made sure we were all taking care of during the reception! I would absolutely recommend Swan Lake to anyone looking for a stunning place for a wedding with amazing staff!

otel for were all here at one location! This meant I got to spend more time with family and friends! All of their staff was great to work with! They set up and tear down the event. You can use any of their decor for free as well. The ONLY negative I have is that since they set it all up, you as the bride have to be very detailed about how you want your decorations, where you want them, and it has to be done in advance. I was able to go check everything out before the ceremony and asked them to move anything I didn't like. But lets be honest, they know what they are doing and I besides that I gave them plenty of leeway to set up however they thought it would look good :). They were awesome and I would highly recommend them!

. It was great to have the wedding and reception at the same location, along with the rehearsal activities. We were able to have the wedding outside but they did have the option to have a back up location set up inside in case the weather did not permit that. That was a huge selling point for us. Especially with Indiana weather. We spent the entire weekend there as did most of our wedding party and guests. There were a few hiccups with the rooms but they made it right immediately. The rehearsal and reception meals were wonderful. The only complaint we had about the food was the breakfast buffet. It was out of most things by the time we got down there and there were not a lot of options. This was through the hotel so not part of the wedding package. I would have made sure I had more options for my guests if I were to do it again. There were a few hiccups, but nothing that would keep me from recommending having a wedding at this location.

I knew after talking to Taylor for five minutes that Swan Lake was going to be the perfect venue for our special day! Taylor made the whole planning process a breeze and was always there to answer my hundreds of questions with a huge smile on her face! When we arrived at the venue on Friday we were greeted by Sebastian (the banquet manager) and given all of his time and support until after our wedding on Saturday night! He did an amazing job helping us organize our rehearsal, and basically coordinate everything we needed the whole day of the wedding. The setup of our wedding was just breath taking thanks to the Swan Lake crew. It was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! Another great thing about Swan Lake was the price! A lot of venues that we went and looked at wanted to nickel and dime you for every single little thing, which we all know is just annoying. Swan Lake had so many great things that were included just for having your wedding there. I seriously cannot say enough great things about the venue and staff! If you are looking for a picture perfect wedding and a very relaxing wedding day, this is the perfect place for you!

weddings were very different. I loved the first one I attended (my brothers wedding). The food was great, the people working there was very polite, and the scenery was so beautiful. It was a beautiful wedding that was indoors. It was simply done but well thought out and very romantic. The second wedding I attended was my cousin's wedding to her best friend. (she's also the wedding planner for swan lake and a very EXTREMELY detail oriented person) Every bit of that outside wedding was absolutely STUNNING!! Every detail of her planning of both the weddings were down to the very smallest detail perfect for the bride and groom of the wedding. The dancing at my cousin's wedding was great. The food was ok. Everything about my cousins wedding was immaculate. From the drinks, the ceremony, the reception. If your looking for the most amazing wedding planner, you need to ask for Taylor. She really "taylors" to your every need when it comes to making your dream wedding become your reality on your wedding day. In a few years, when my husband and I renew our wedding vows, we will look no further then swan lake and working with Taylor. (and no not because she is family, because she's the absolute best wedding planner & actually has very natural talent at what she does)

The beautiful location and size of the venue (we had an actual guest list of around 325-350) was exactly what we were looking for, but Taylor and her customer service definitely made our decision easy. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Swan Lake during the weekend of July 22, 2017. Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for anything more! The Swan Lake staff sets up and tears down all of the decorations, which really took a load off of my shoulders. They had almost all of the reception decorations up on Friday night, so we were able to take a look before the weekend became hectic. During the day of, Taylor and Erin were there to make sure that everything ran smoothly with the other vendors and that all decorations were in place. We received so many compliments on the food, staff and decorations by our guests! I would HIGHLY recommend Swan Lake!!!!!!

My family and friends came all the way from Ireland and they loved staying there. From golfing, the bar, swimming and the local Indiana sights - everyone was happy. My gran was not sure what to thing when we said we were having a wedding ceremony at the resort and not in a church. Now she can't say enough great things after experiencing it. Zack and I really cannot thank Swan Lake Resort enough for all they did ??.

len, the day of coordinator. I feel like it is so hard to find a wedding coordinator that not only understands you but can make your wedding dreams become a reality. Taylor did exactly just that. She was so attentive in responding to my emails and gave me endless suggestions to create the perfect wedding I envisioned. Maryellen was also very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly - which it did thanks to her! Even though it decided to rain before the ceremony and I was about to have a mid panic, Maryellen knew exactly what to do. She transformed one of the ballrooms to one of the most elegant, intimate ceremonies I've ever seen. Everyone at the wedding raved about how amazing everything looked. Food was outstanding! Pretty much everyone ate everything on the plate. I could really go on and on about how amazing this venue is. It seriously is so perfect. The guests loved that the ceremony, reception, and even hotel rooms were all in one location. It made it so convenient for everyone. It was also nice to have a bar that was at the resort so that the party could still continue even after the reception ended. I will be recommending this venue to everyone!

She helped us plan from out of state, and took care of everything immediately when we had concerns or when there were small errors in items such as the menu or drink selection. She, and Maryellen, the day-of coordinator, made she we truly had the perfect day. They were both creative and hardworking. We ended up with a rather windy day, and Maryellen came to me for ribbon (as I made all the decorations) and tied down all the tablecloths in our colors, just to make sure it was perfect. Taylor was truly essential in our planning process, helping us with hotel booking as well as the general planning. She continually updated little details to my specifications, and answered all my questions very promptly. She was truly a pleasure to work with, so much that I have kept in touch with her! She takes wedding coordinator to a new level, truly above and beyond what is required of the job. Her attention to detail and level of organization is more than I could have hoped for! I would recommend the beautiful Swan Lake Resort to anyone with an event. In Taylor's hands, you can rest easy knowing she has the details covered and that everything will go beautifully!

forming weddings as an officiant. Luckily I had this experience because the day of rehearsal and wedding the coordinators that work there were no were to be seen. With my experience the coordinators are the ones to make the bride's day as easy as possible, not to make it frustrating. Their day should be fun and exciting and not to be bothered by calls by the coordinators. I am glad that I was able to perform both duties that day for the bride and groom...officiant and wedding coordinator. Like I said earlier, it is a BEAUTIFUL place, but I would be asking lots of detailed questions regarding the service provided with the coordinators.

was AMAZING -the decorations were beautiful and I didn't need to give information beyond my colors -They allowed us to use the room the night before the wedding to practice our first dance -We were allowed to use the bridal suite a day early (we were coming up from Indianapolis) Cons: -The coordinator was very difficult to contact. It required at least 2-3 phone calls/emails before a response was received and this sometimes took 2 weeks. -I was forced to call the manager to get a tasting because the coordinator would not contact me and give me a date after cancelling my original tasting. (I didn't call until it was only a month to wedding day and I felt I had no options) -My guests felt rushed. The buffet was cleaned up less than 5 minutes after the last person went through, and one of my guests even commented he felt we were "getting the bum's rush." -The waiters dumped our toast wine before we had toasts and we were refused any type of financial compensation (we asked for 1/2 off as they dumped about 3/4 of the glasses and guests ordered more alcohol in order to toast) or even an apology for this. -Our final invoice was wrong by about $500 -It took 2 months before we were sent a corrected invoice (after I called again) at which point I called and left a message stating I wanted pay the balance in full. The voicemail I received a few days later implied I was being contacted because I hadn't paid and needed to make a plan to pay my balance. If I was to do it again, I would pick a different venue. The great food and beautiful venue did not make up for the bad customer service. As a final note, we were promised a $50 gift card for a positive review on this website which I find to be dishonest. While it didn't impact our wedding, it brings into question the other reviews.
