Swan Lake Resort

We don't know where to start (& we're sure we will forget something) Swan Lake has everything- amazing food, decorations for use, supportive staff, picturesque grounds. The gazebo is a fabulous backdrop for an outside wedding. We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. The grounds, ballroom- everything was more than we could ever imagine. Bob and his crew did everything possible to make the planning process and big day as easy and smooth as possible. Bob was attentive to all of our needs and answered all our questions (both before and after the big day) He and his staff literally took care of everything- the set up, the tear down, and everything in-between. When the big day arrived, we had a pop up rain shower about 30 minutes before ceremony start time. As soon as the rain shower was done, Bob and his crew were outside drying off the chairs so we could begin as close to scheduled time as possible. Our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful everything was; that and the amazing food. The Summer BBQ buffet was delicious and something a little different from traditional wedding food. Bob and his crew work SO incredibly hard to make your day picture perfect. I would definitely recommend this venue for any future wedding (or event!)

Bob and his team at Swan Lake were a dream to work with for our wedding. Originally planned for June 2020, we made the decision to move our wedding to 2021 and they were so understanding and accommodating. Throughout the whole planning process, Bob was very quick with responses and helpful in making decisions. For the rehearsal dinner and day of, the staff took care of everything so we were able to enjoy the time with our family and friends and celebrate our love instead of worrying about the small things. All of our guests loved having the ceremony, reception, and accommodations all in one location. The venue is beautiful and we couldn’t recommend Swan Lake for a wedding or event enough!

Swan Lake provided excellent service and food for both the Wedding Reception and Rehearsal Dinner venues. Bob Stout, the Event Coordinator and his staff (Katie and Sarah) provided great service with professionalism and warmth. The way they managed and handled everything assisted to reduce our stress allowing us to focus on other plans. They made sure everything was elegant and beautiful and assisted us with great ideas for the best layout and setup for both venues. They were on top of everything. Especially, when a vendor, Indiana Wedding Decorators did not meet their obligations in setting up the center stage back drop properly or with flowers. If it werent for Bob Stout and Morgan (Wedding Planner) fixing their area of the vendor's setups (even after multiple attempts to contact the vendor, Indiana Wedding Decorators which they never returned calls to fix), the main stage and focal view would have completely taken away from everything else for the Wedding Reception. I would highly recommend Swan Lake to provide you with any event venues and services. The entire staff including the resort were professional, polite and warm making us feel at home and made sure this special day satisfied all of our expectations.

We can't begin to express how happy we were to have our wedding at Swan Lake. We went through a messy rescheduling and venue change due to covid, and Swan Lake—and their own Bob Stout, who was with us every step of the way—pulled through for us. The location itself is just beautiful; having everything there on site (the hotel rooms, ceremony space, reception hall, and many forms of entertainment for guests of all ages like golf, a restaurant, a pool, a firepit, etc.) made for a really enjoyable and low-stress experience. The whole staff was also just incredibly kind, the food was good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I truly have no complaints. I only wish I had known about Swan Lake the FIRST time we planned our wedding, but I'm grateful for having discovered them at all. It felt really good in the days following our wedding to hear back from guests gushing about how much they loved the venue and the experience of staying there. Definitely the whole package!

We held our wedding reception and ceremony at Swan Lake Resort a few weeks ago, and we are still getting rave reviews from our guests about the venue, the food and the “service with a smile.” The Salon Ballroom is a gorgeous venue, the Italian Buffet was delicious (as was the wine), and the Swan Lake Resort team was amazing. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Bob Stout and the Swan Lake Resort staff made it so much easier with their guidance, organizational tools, suggestions, responsiveness and positive attitude. Once I arrived the day of our wedding, I was able to just relax and enjoy everything without any worries. I would highly recommend Swan Lake Resort to any bride and groom, or anyone searching for a venue for a special event.

Swan Lake was the perfect venue for our wedding. We decided to have our wedding at Swan Lake because of the serene setting, the beautiful accommodations, and the all inclusive aspect of the planning . Bob and Krystal made wedding planning a breeze. Swan Lake offers so many options to assist in planning your special day. The day of our wedding, the staff at Swan Lake had everything set up and ready to go. It was absolutely stunning, and took so much stress out of our big day. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, and all of our guests had a blast. I would recommend Swan Lake to anyone for their wedding day!

I recently got married on 10-9-20 at Swan Lake Resort and I was blown away by my experience with them! I mainly worked with Bob Stout who is the event coordinator there and he was beyond helpful every step of the way. Whatever questions I had at whatever time of the day, he was always so quick to respond, which as a bride is greatly appreciated!! On the event day, I worked with Krystal and Bob who did an amazing job of coordinating the wedding despite normal wedding mishaps! Whatever I asked for, they were quick to make it happen. Swan Lake also has a BEAUTIFUL outdoor gazebo area for the ceremony which is the main reason why my husband and I picked it! For the reception, Bob took my vision and set it up exactly how I envisioned! I just wanted to take the time to let all future brides know that this is an amazing and beautiful venue to get married at if you are looking for a scenic getaway weekend 🙂

Swan Lake Resort was the most perfect venue to have my wedding & reception at. I had been planning this wedding for the past 3 years and none of it would have been possible without Bob and the amazing staff at Swan Lake. They made sure that my big day was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It is a one stop shop. They do EVERYTHING for you, and they do an excellent job at it. They have plenty of decorations to pick from so that you don't have to buy a single thing. If I were to do it all over again I would 100000x pick Swan Lake Resort to have my ceremony & reception at! If you are even considering Swan Lake just a little bit, DO IT! I promise you will not regret it :)

The best venue in Northern Indiana! Swan lake is elegant and the staff is very personable and efficient! Bob, the manager is your first contact in booking, and he is with you every step of the way, from a tour, to picking the food, showing you all of the decor you can choose for free when you book, all the way to opening the doors for the brides grand entrance. He makes sure you are happy and that every thing runs smoothly. Along with bob there is Krystal who helps coordinate the day of, as well as the rehearsal. I can’t say enough great things about this place and the staff! You will find a beautiful outdoor area on the golf course. The gazebo was a perfect spot to get married with a pond behind it and beautiful greenery and flowers! My husband and father in law along with some other guys, utilized the golf course the day before our wedding and the morning of! With the resort having the hotel, we were able to swim, lay out and enjoy dickeys bar and restaurant while we were there! Definitely a 5 star!!!!

Thank you to the entire staff at Swan Lake for making my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding perfect. ( Bragg wedding 8-8-2020). From the meeting with Bob Stout and his “we can do that” answer to everything we asked for to the coordinator Crystal making sure it was done. Shout out to Benjamin at the courtyard bar for his speedy and pleasant service. Crystal and Karen continually checked with us to make sure our needs were meet. Swan Lake is definitely the best wedding venue in Northern Indiana. It is very elegant! Thank you all for your outstanding and professional service!

Hands down the BEST venue in Indiana! Bobby Stout and his crew were unbelievable! They went above and beyond to make our BIG day as special as it could possibly be! Never once was there ever a negative response! Bobby was always so positive from day one! Then we met his AMAZING staff and they were nothing but helpful and went above and beyond! Words can't express how BEAUTIFUL our wedding was and how THANKFUL we are for your service! We highly recommend this facility to everyone out there! GREAT JOB Swan Lake Staff!!! Swan Lake Resort was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The outdoor courtyard with the gazebo is landscaped beautifully with flowers and greenery, and overlooks and beautiful pond and rolling green golf-course. The ballroom offers an extravagant reception location without the need for turnover. Swan Lake also has a slew of decorations that you can use at no extra cost! Having the hotel onsite as an options for guests is very convenient, we made a whole weekend out of it and utilized the pool and bonfire pit the day before the wedding. We also had several guests come and golf the day of or after the wedding. Swan Lake was a great venue for our wedding located on beautiful grounds, they helped to create a day that we will always remember

I've dreamed about my wedding since I was a little girl and Swan Lake made all of those dreams come true. Every single detail of our wedding turned our perfect from the decoration to the food and it is due to the amazing staff. The day of coordinator made everything run smoothly allowing me to relax and take in the day. I could not have had a better experience and would highly recommend choosing this venue for your wedding.

The Swan Lake Resort staff were exceptional during our reception festivities and the venue was beautiful as to be expected. They did not disappoint and were more than willing to adapt to anything that came our way during the night. Moreover, the work in planning changed drastically this March and Bob Stout and the staff at Swan Lake did all they could to adapt to the changing environment. With all of the unknowns during the pandemic, we knew that Swan Lake was there to help us (even cancel) during our prep at two months, one month, and one week 'to go' for the big day. Making our time in planning less and less stressful.

Outstanding experience for our cocktail hour and reception at Swan Lake Resort! We were planning our wedding long distance from out of state and their staff was always timely in their responses and made just feel we were in good hands every step of the process even from far away. The venue is great. The staff provided set up and take down support for our decorations which relieved us of so much stress on the big day. The food was phenomenal - from the appetizers to the plated meals - everything was delicious. Their pastry chef is outstanding! We would highly recommend you have your cake done through Swan Lake! We cannot say enough good things about this venue and their staff!! Thank you for the tremendous support and making our day so special, stress-free and memorable!

We cannot begin to express just how amazing this venue is. We knew we wanted to get married at a golf course, as we both have a love of golf. After searching some other potential sites, we came across Swan Lake Resort. No other venue near us even came close to the beauty and everything Swan Lake had to offer. From Swan Lake's multiple beautiful golf courses, the stunning gazebo site, the hotel with all the accommodations, a restaurant and the reception salons, Swan Lake has everything you could possibly need for your dream wedding. It had everything we needed. We started meeting with Taylor and she did the most amazing job of explaining everything, giving us costs and package information, we didn't think they were overly priced for everything they offered, the welcome guides to what Swan Lake includes...decorations and complete set-up and tear down, etc. Swan Lake pretty much does it all for you. We set up the food tasting, which was amazing, and when my fiance and I wanted to try more, she set that up too. She got us going with the hotel blocks and worked with us on that too. Almost all of the family was coming in from out of state. We talked back and forth setting up everything for our day. We concluded our prep and set up with Bob, who did an amazing job as well. He helped clarify and set up the rehearsal dinner and all the needs for that, plus all of the hotel blocks and changes that were made several times. On the day of, we had Mykelle who made sure everything went smoothly, she also helped coordinate the ceremony rehearsal as well. She drove us and our photographer and videographer around the golf course for prime shooting locations. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and it was the most perfect night of our lives. At the end, all the cleanup was done for us and all we had to do was pick up the boxes of items we were keeping and take them home. We stayed extra days to take advantage of the beautiful location and views, pools, and hot tubs. This was our dream wedding and we are still getting compliments on what an amazing wedding it was. We will definitely be coming back.

We had the best experience with Swan Lake. I was very nervous when I heard Taylor was no longer with them-because she is every girl’s dream wedding coordinator. However, Bob quickly stepped up to fill her shoes and he was great communicating and making sure everything ran smoothly. Mykelle is a dream to work with. She had everything running so smoothly from the beginning to the end. She offered suggestions and made the tables look perfect. Swan Lake is definitely worth the money to have piece of mind that your day is going to be perfect. It’s so easy the next day, too. Everything is torn down and waiting for you to pick up in the bridal suite. No hassle for you or your family. I highly recommend Swan Lake!

This is without a doubt the most beautiful wedding venue! The grounds were so well kept and blooming for our June wedding, especially the courtyard where the gazebo is located! Bob was quick to email back and contact when we had specific requests or questions, such as bringing in an outside local brewery for our beverages. MyKelle was hands down the sweetest and most kind to work with the day of the wedding and helped make our vision come to life! We loved every minute of our BIG DAY!!

My husband and I got married here at Swan Lake about six months ago and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Taylor made the entire planning process go so smoothly! She literally has everything so organized and makes it so easy to plan for things you don't even think about and answers any and all questions promptly and kindly (trust me I had a million questions)! Next, Sebastian the day of coordinator was AMAZING!!!!! I literally can not say enough about how great he was. He made our dream a reality! He always kept me informed and confirmed everything with me and my bridesmaids!! It was raining the day of our wedding and I had almost lost hope about our outdoor ceremony, but he and the wonderful staff made it happen. I also have to give a huge shout out to Amy! She was so helpful during our rehearsal and gave such great insight. She made sure we were all taking care of during the reception! I would absolutely recommend Swan Lake to anyone looking for a stunning place for a wedding with amazing staff!

Loved that I was able to have EVERYTHING in one location! Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, day of getting ready for girls and guys, guys went golfing day of, Ceremony, Reception, and hotel for were all here at one location! This meant I got to spend more time with family and friends! All of their staff was great to work with! They set up and tear down the event. You can use any of their decor for free as well. The ONLY negative I have is that since they set it all up, you as the bride have to be very detailed about how you want your decorations, where you want them, and it has to be done in advance. I was able to go check everything out before the ceremony and asked them to move anything I didn't like. But lets be honest, they know what they are doing and I besides that I gave them plenty of leeway to set up however they thought it would look good :). They were awesome and I would highly recommend them!

We had our wedding at Swan Lake in June of 2017. We met Taylor and immediately knew we should have our wedding here. She was organized and straight forward. The venue was beautiful. It was great to have the wedding and reception at the same location, along with the rehearsal activities. We were able to have the wedding outside but they did have the option to have a back up location set up inside in case the weather did not permit that. That was a huge selling point for us. Especially with Indiana weather. We spent the entire weekend there as did most of our wedding party and guests. There were a few hiccups with the rooms but they made it right immediately. The rehearsal and reception meals were wonderful. The only complaint we had about the food was the breakfast buffet. It was out of most things by the time we got down there and there were not a lot of options. This was through the hotel so not part of the wedding package. I would have made sure I had more options for my guests if I were to do it again. There were a few hiccups, but nothing that would keep me from recommending having a wedding at this location.

We got married at the end of October at Swan Lake and I cannot say enough great things about this place! Not only is Swan Lake a beautiful venue, the staff there is seriously amazing! Taylor and Sebastian and the rest of the crew at Swan Lake Resort will go above and beyond to make sure you have the absolute perfect day! Being an engineer, it was really important to me that everything be super organized and detail oriented. I knew after talking to Taylor for five minutes that Swan Lake was going to be the perfect venue for our special day! Taylor made the whole planning process a breeze and was always there to answer my hundreds of questions with a huge smile on her face! When we arrived at the venue on Friday we were greeted by Sebastian (the banquet manager) and given all of his time and support until after our wedding on Saturday night! He did an amazing job helping us organize our rehearsal, and basically coordinate everything we needed the whole day of the wedding. The setup of our wedding was just breath taking thanks to the Swan Lake crew. It was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! Another great thing about Swan Lake was the price! A lot of venues that we went and looked at wanted to nickel and dime you for every single little thing, which we all know is just annoying. Swan Lake had so many great things that were included just for having your wedding there. I seriously cannot say enough great things about the venue and staff! If you are looking for a picture perfect wedding and a very relaxing wedding day, this is the perfect place for you!

I just want to say this place is beautiful! Everyone that came to our wedding had nothing but great things to say about it. Taylor made everything so smooth and as easy going as she could. I was able to organize the wedding the best I could with all the examples she had given me. I am one to not really know where to start so this was something that helped me out so much. As for the day of the wedding the coordinator we had was awesome he made sure all my extra decor when in great spots to really make sure everything looked the way I would want. Thank you Swan Lake for making our wedding the best we could ever want!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Throughout the whole planning process Taylor was there to answer any questions I had. She was very helpful with helping me plan the wedding. Sebastian made the day of go so smoothly! We absolutely loved the way he and his team set up the room. If something didn’t go as planned he used his judgement and everything turned out perfect. I have had the luxury of attending 2 beautiful weddings in 1 year!! First I would like to start off saying that the weddings were GORGEOUS, one was inside/one was outside, and the weddings were very different. I loved the first one I attended (my brothers wedding). The food was great, the people working there was very polite, and the scenery was so beautiful. It was a beautiful wedding that was indoors. It was simply done but well thought out and very romantic. The second wedding I attended was my cousin's wedding to her best friend. (she's also the wedding planner for swan lake and a very EXTREMELY detail oriented person) Every bit of that outside wedding was absolutely STUNNING!! Every detail of her planning of both the weddings were down to the very smallest detail perfect for the bride and groom of the wedding. The dancing at my cousin's wedding was great. The food was ok. Everything about my cousins wedding was immaculate. From the drinks, the ceremony, the reception. If your looking for the most amazing wedding planner, you need to ask for Taylor. She really "taylors" to your every need when it comes to making your dream wedding become your reality on your wedding day. In a few years, when my husband and I renew our wedding vows, we will look no further then swan lake and working with Taylor. (and no not because she is family, because she's the absolute best wedding planner & actually has very natural talent at what she does)

My wife was so calm during the entire process, and on behalf of that alone, I'd like to give Taylor a HUGE shout out. My wife gets worked up easily and has high anxiety, but Taylor dealt with it like it was nothing. She kept her promises and remained true to every promise she made. She is honest, loyal and prompt. I am so glad we chose Swan Lake as our wedding venue. Thank you to the entire staff, you made our wedding day everything and more!

Swan Lake is hands down the best place to get married at. It is SO beautiful and this day couldn't have gone any better without Taylor Hampton. She goes above and beyond for everyone and makes sure the day is perfect :)

I can't even begin to explain how perfect our wedding was and we owe it all to Taylor, Erin, and the rest of the staff at Swan Lake! Everything was so seamless and I can honestly say I was not nervous or stressed once because of how organized and professional they were. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else after how amazing it was to work with these wonderful people! They made our dreams an absolute reality and I will never be able to thank them enough! 100% every bride and groom should choose Swan Lake for their special day!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Taylor and all of the Swan Lake staff!! We met with Taylor in September of 2016 and even before we booked she was always there to answer any questions or concerns that we had. The beautiful location and size of the venue (we had an actual guest list of around 325-350) was exactly what we were looking for, but Taylor and her customer service definitely made our decision easy. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Swan Lake during the weekend of July 22, 2017. Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for anything more! The Swan Lake staff sets up and tears down all of the decorations, which really took a load off of my shoulders. They had almost all of the reception decorations up on Friday night, so we were able to take a look before the weekend became hectic. During the day of, Taylor and Erin were there to make sure that everything ran smoothly with the other vendors and that all decorations were in place. We received so many compliments on the food, staff and decorations by our guests! I would HIGHLY recommend Swan Lake!!!!!!

I cannot even put into words how amazing Taylor and Erin are... ! goose bumps all over my body thinking about everything Swan Lake did for me for not only my wedding but just the whole wedding process, golf before hand, hotel stay, food, just wow. wow. wow. Our experience with Swan Lake Resort, and working with Taylor, Erin, and Maryellen for our wedding reception was incredible. Taylor is so nice, and incredibly organized. I was confident in Taylor, and did not worry about one thing during our planning process. Erin and Maryellen carried out our décor set up perfectly the day of the wedding, and were so easy to work with. Their entire staff helped our day run smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, and the hotel was convenient for our guests staying overnight. Swan Lake Resort is THE place to have your wedding!

We had our wedding at Swan Lake. Taylor and the rest of the staff at were so amazing! We were nervous at first because we didn't know how they felt about same sex weddings, but Taylor made us feel so comfortable and the rest of the staff was so great as well. Highly, highly recommend Swan Lake for any wedding or event!!

Swan lake resort was absolutely fantastic for our wedding reception! We have nothing but good things to say about the entire venue! From Taylor Hampton's wonderful and organized planning to Mary Ellen's helpful setup management we were more than happy with our reception! The hotel was beautiful the bridal suite was wonderful and the staff treated us like royalty! My father and husband loved the golf course and we truly felt at home at this resort!

Taylor and Mary Ellen were the most amazing ladies at Swan Lake Resort. They helped to ensure our wedding was unforgettable. My husband and I hand previously never visited the venue until two days before we were to wed, as we live in Alaska. I have to admit the websites pictures do not do it justice. Swan Lake was and is beautiful. My family and friends came all the way from Ireland and they loved staying there. From golfing, the bar, swimming and the local Indiana sights - everyone was happy. My gran was not sure what to thing when we said we were having a wedding ceremony at the resort and not in a church. Now she can't say enough great things after experiencing it. Zack and I really cannot thank Swan Lake Resort enough for all they did ??.

I absolutely have no complaints about my wedding and the planning process at Swan Lake. Taylor Hampton was wonderful to work with, and even though I had some crazy ideas I wanted to do at my wedding, she was very flexible and tried her best to make my dream wedding come true. I highly recommend having your wedding here, it is worth the money when you Think about not having to do your food, or clean everything up afterwards. They are all about service. Stop by to meet Taylor and you won't regret it!

We were so fortunate to have our wedding at Swan Lake Resort on October 3, 2015. Our wedding day was so magical and perfect all thanks to Taylor, the wedding coordinator and Maryellen, the day of coordinator. I feel like it is so hard to find a wedding coordinator that not only understands you but can make your wedding dreams become a reality. Taylor did exactly just that. She was so attentive in responding to my emails and gave me endless suggestions to create the perfect wedding I envisioned. Maryellen was also very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly - which it did thanks to her! Even though it decided to rain before the ceremony and I was about to have a mid panic, Maryellen knew exactly what to do. She transformed one of the ballrooms to one of the most elegant, intimate ceremonies I've ever seen. Everyone at the wedding raved about how amazing everything looked. Food was outstanding! Pretty much everyone ate everything on the plate. I could really go on and on about how amazing this venue is. It seriously is so perfect. The guests loved that the ceremony, reception, and even hotel rooms were all in one location. It made it so convenient for everyone. It was also nice to have a bar that was at the resort so that the party could still continue even after the reception ended. I will be recommending this venue to everyone!

I had my wedding at SLR in Sept 2015. I see some negative reviews below, and I want to say that the current wedding coordinator started during our planning process, so I don't know how things were before, but she is truly AMAZING! Taylor made sure everything was to our (overtly picky) specifications. She helped us plan from out of state, and took care of everything immediately when we had concerns or when there were small errors in items such as the menu or drink selection. She, and Maryellen, the day-of coordinator, made she we truly had the perfect day. They were both creative and hardworking. We ended up with a rather windy day, and Maryellen came to me for ribbon (as I made all the decorations) and tied down all the tablecloths in our colors, just to make sure it was perfect. Taylor was truly essential in our planning process, helping us with hotel booking as well as the general planning. She continually updated little details to my specifications, and answered all my questions very promptly. She was truly a pleasure to work with, so much that I have kept in touch with her! She takes wedding coordinator to a new level, truly above and beyond what is required of the job. Her attention to detail and level of organization is more than I could have hoped for! I would recommend the beautiful Swan Lake Resort to anyone with an event. In Taylor's hands, you can rest easy knowing she has the details covered and that everything will go beautifully!

Leigh and I had our wedding at Swan Lake this past October and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We worked with Taylor to pull it all together from California. She and all the team at Swan Lake made the planning simple and the day of worry-free. They handled last minute needs for us and somehow were even able to manage to banish the rain we had in the morning so we had a perfect ceremony and reception. We had so much fun! Oh and, first same sex wedding for Swan Lake. We could not have been more welcomed. If you are looking for an amazing place to get married in Northern Indiana, you can't do better than Taylor and Swan Lake.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the Swan Lake Resort, and it's staff, especially Taylor Hampton!! We are from the Chicago-area, but stumbled upon Swan Lake Resort, and as soon as I saw it I knew this is where I wanted to have our wedding. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful, along with the ballroom. The entire planning process was such a breeze with Taylor and her team, and they were so accommodating to all of our needs (even when we made various changes along the way). Many of our guests told us how they appreciated all of the kindness from all of the staff, and it only re-assured me on how I made the right decision to have my wedding there. Again, Taylor made this experience so easy and fun, and I it kept me calm the entire day! I am so so grateful for her!! If I had to re-do our wedding I would not change one thing, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!!

I can honestly say having our wedding at Swan Lake was an absolute dream come true. Everything was perfect from the beautiful venue to the great tasting food. The staff was absolutely amazing especially the wedding planner Taylor and day of event coordinator Mary Ellen. Taylor was such a fun person to work with and her attention to detail assured me everything would be perfect. Planning a wedding can be stressful but thankfully with her help we did not have anything to worry about. You can tell she has such a passion for what she does! :) :)

The resort is very beautiful and a great spot for a wedding. However, the service provided is less than acceptable. I was a wedding coordinator for a few years before I began performing weddings as an officiant. Luckily I had this experience because the day of rehearsal and wedding the coordinators that work there were no were to be seen. With my experience the coordinators are the ones to make the bride's day as easy as possible, not to make it frustrating. Their day should be fun and exciting and not to be bothered by calls by the coordinators. I am glad that I was able to perform both duties that day for the bride and groom...officiant and wedding coordinator. Like I said earlier, it is a BEAUTIFUL place, but I would be asking lots of detailed questions regarding the service provided with the coordinators.

I chose Swan Lake based on a wonderful experience my mom and dad had hosting a vow renewal reception at the location. I had a very different experience, however Pros: -The food was AMAZING -the decorations were beautiful and I didn't need to give information beyond my colors -They allowed us to use the room the night before the wedding to practice our first dance -We were allowed to use the bridal suite a day early (we were coming up from Indianapolis) Cons: -The coordinator was very difficult to contact. It required at least 2-3 phone calls/emails before a response was received and this sometimes took 2 weeks. -I was forced to call the manager to get a tasting because the coordinator would not contact me and give me a date after cancelling my original tasting. (I didn't call until it was only a month to wedding day and I felt I had no options) -My guests felt rushed. The buffet was cleaned up less than 5 minutes after the last person went through, and one of my guests even commented he felt we were "getting the bum's rush." -The waiters dumped our toast wine before we had toasts and we were refused any type of financial compensation (we asked for 1/2 off as they dumped about 3/4 of the glasses and guests ordered more alcohol in order to toast) or even an apology for this. -Our final invoice was wrong by about $500 -It took 2 months before we were sent a corrected invoice (after I called again) at which point I called and left a message stating I wanted pay the balance in full. The voicemail I received a few days later implied I was being contacted because I hadn't paid and needed to make a plan to pay my balance. If I was to do it again, I would pick a different venue. The great food and beautiful venue did not make up for the bad customer service. As a final note, we were promised a $50 gift card for a positive review on this website which I find to be dishonest. While it didn't impact our wedding, it brings into question the other reviews.

Communication with the wedding "coordinator" was very poor. Unanswered emails and lack of planning lead to last minute rushing around to set up things. Kids at my reception were served champagne because the champagne was pre set before anyone even entered the reception ( even though the toast was not planned for an hour in to the reception). Service at the reception was poor and guests were brought wrong drinks and salads forgotten at an entire table. Guests were charged separately for soda even though they were not suppose to be. Would not recommend this place to any bride. Food was good and the ceremony was beautiful but not worth the dysfunction. I feel like the quality of service has declined over the past year esp when I read earlier reviews.

It's a beautiful place so our photos turned out to be great! It has a hotel so our guests could enjoy the open bar (with so many good drinks) and walk to their room after the party. Staffs are very friendly specially waitresses. They were very kind to our guests. Amber Hart (The wedding planner) is also a very nice lady. She did a good job. I had no problem with her.

Our wedding was July 26, 2104 at swan lake resort. We are more than pleased with the professionalism and expertise we received from Amber, Brittani and the entire swan lake staff. We received many compliments on the food and beautiful location. This venue is beautiful and was everything we had hoped it would be. I highly recommend this location when considering venue options. Amber and Brittani go above and beyond to answer and questions and concerns in order to make the planning process smooth and stress free.

The service staff at Swan Lake were wonderful. We don't feel the same with the wedding sales manager. Do not think of her as a wedding coordinator as we did, she is not. We felt special when we decided to use Swan Lake as our wedding vendor but after paying the deposit we were ignored and unimportant until 2 weeks before the wedding. Maybe we felt we needed more cooperation than what was contracted.

Swan Lake Resort was a wonderful choice for our daughter's wedding. GORGEOUS, MAJESTIC, and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE from the entire wedding and hotel staff! The wedding party and families got to spend time together before and after the actual wedding which was a bonus. We had a wonderful experience and our daughter and her husband were thrilled with their wedding weekend. The ceremony site couldn't have been more perfect, with a beautiful pond, golf course and gazebo as the backdrop. Many guests have told us it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended and we of course agree! We would recommend Swan Lake Resort to anyone!

From my first encounter with Swan Lake all the way up until several days after the wedding, I was very VERY impressed with the service and professionalism of Swan Lake. The wedding coordinator, Amber, was wonderful at staying in contact with us and ensuring that the wedding went smoothly. She was even willing to meet with us just days after having her baby. Amber was absolutely wonderful. The day of the wedding could not have went any better. All of the coordinators worked endlessly to set up the decorations perfectly and everything looked beautiful. I was very happy with the end result. The food was delicious and we had many guests tell us that it was some of the best wedding food they had tasted. We had Bison Meatloaf and Stuffed Chicken for our entrees. Both were a hit and they were delivered fresh and hot. The servers during dinner provided fantastic service, as well. Other vendors that were brought in for flowers and decorations told me that Swan Lake was a wonderful venue to work with and were very accommodating. Swan Lake helped to make my daughters wedding very memorable and we could not be more happy with our choice at having the wedding at this venue! I would highly recommend Swan Lake.

My husband and I were married July 19th 2014 at swan lake resort. First off, the resort is beautiful! The grounds were decorated nicely and well maintained. There were flowers blooming everywhere and there are multiple places to take pictures at. I will just list some things to review: Staff: Amber is amazing! She is the head coordinator and is very knowledgeable about every inch and second of a wedding. She even met with me personally on a Sunday when she had to previously cancel a meeting. She and her staff are on top of everything and never missed a beat. Ballroom: very beautiful and spacious. It is separated into three sections to fit to the number of guests. We had approx. 150 people and used two of the sections while reserving the third section as a ceremony spot in case we were rained out of the gazebo. Food: My guests raved about the food, however I hardly tasted it due to nerves! We served the Bison meatloaf ( yes, I served meatloaf at my fancy wedding and it was a hit!) and the Apple Gouda stuffed chicken. Everything was served hot and believe it or not, plated dinners are cheaper than buffet! The meals were $24 and $25 per person which included a salad, dinner roll, and two sides. Kids meals $10. Hotel: Very nice and accommodating, We had a block of 15 rooms for guests but they will work with you and book more if there is availability. The discounted rate was $139 at the time. It is very convenient that there is a hotel connected so tipsy guests, including myself, could walk to their rooms! Bridal Suite: the room is great with a nice comfy bed and a living room area with mini fridge to get ready in. There are two sinks and multiple mirrors for bridesmaids, bride etc. to get ready in. Golf cart: after you are married, you and your husband along with photogs and a staff member are taken to a couple of areas on the golf course for great pictures. We had a half hour before the reception to take pictures and they turned out great! Overall I give Swan Lake a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone! You can go as simple or as fancy as want. The staff can help you find vendors for your wedding, they even helped us find a last minute minister when ours had to cancel! They are great and I can't brag enough about how well everything went!

Our daughter's wedding was at Swan Lake in June. The ceremony was held at the gazebo in the courtyard with the reception following in the ballrooms. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. Our guests repeated commented on how beautiful everything was and how excellent the food was, from the appetizers to the main courses. The staff was excellent to work with at all levels. We would definitely recommend to everyone.

Swan Lake was a beautiful, helpful, and essentially stress free venue. I was able to literally hand a bag of decoration to the wedding coordinator the day before the wedding and they got set up better than I could have imagined. I did not have to worry about set up or tear down. I was really able to completely focus on enjoying my wedding reception. The food was also fabulous! The stuffed mushrooms were a huge hit during the cocktail hour, several people are asking for the recipe. I felt like I could contact Swan Lake at any time with any questions leading up to the wedding. I had a GREAT experience. The only downfall is how much the alcohol is marked up, but I'm sure it is comparable to other places similar to this wonderful venue. I would definitely recommend Swan Lake to anyone. It may seem expensive at first look, but when you see everything they do for you and all you don't have to stress about on your big day, it is SO worth it! They even had a bouquet waiting and a bottle of wine chilling when my husband and I got to our hotel room :)

From the moment we walked into Swan Lake Resort we knew this was going to be the perfect venue for our Summer wedding. We loved the fact that everything is in one spot; the ceremony location, the reception in the Grand Ballroom and the hotel. So many of our out of town guests made a whole weekend getaway during our wedding weekend and had so much fun. Amber and the staff at Swan Lake were so professional wonderful to work with. She helped us with every detail. The guests absolutely loved the beautiful grounds where the ceremony took place. The Grand Ballroom looked amazing inside and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the food! We were so thankful we found this beautiful place to have our wedding so close to home. Thank you for helping to make our day so special!! We would highly recommend Swan Lake Resort for anyone looking for a beautiful and elegant setting to have their wedding!

We dealt with Amber Hart at Swan Lake and she and her staff were incredible. Not only did the venue look beautiful, but the staff was friendly and the food tasted incredible. So many people from our wedding kept saying how good the food was. We did the wedding package, which included the room, food, liquor and even the cake (Which was outstanding). They allowed us to send them a picture of our dream cake and they made it happen for the included price! The golf course was great and I was able to play golf with my wife (the day before, so fiance) her father and my groomsmen the morning of the rehearsal. My ONLY suggestion for Swan Lake would be for an update of the rooms; however, for a wedding it was perfect, because we only slept there! For value, quality and experience I definitely give Swan Lake 5 stars and thank you again to Amber for making this such an incredible day!
