Born in West Central Minnesota Chef Jeffrey comes to you with over 30 experience in the Pastry Industry. Jeffrey discovered his passion for cake decorating from his grandmothers growing up. After decorating cakes all through high school he received a diploma in Pastry Arts from Cordon Bleu. After working in the Pastry Industry for several years Chef Jeffrey earned a Masters in Pastry & Confectionery, 2015 Chef Jeffrey left the Retail world of Pastries and created to what you all know as Sweet Assurance. Chef Jeffrey's confectionary masterpieces win the hearts of our guest, young and old alike.

We had two tastings with other vendors and talked to many more. It was a learning experience. Out last tasting was with Jeffrey. It was extraordinary...many choices and fillings...all set up and the tasting was a fun event. What a difference. Many vendors are not even doing in person tasting these days. He is helpful and we knew right away we wanted to book with Jeffrey. His price is reasonable as opposed to most that wanted over $100 just for delivery. He arrived on time and set the cake up. Everyone loved the cake both style and taste. It was beautiful and flavors perfect. Book early as he is very popular. Bakes out of a commercial kitchen. He is very creative and will make your cake unique. and special. Price was reasonable and he is very responsive to all questions and concerns. You can trust Jeffery...a real professional. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend!! Not only was our cake absolutely beautiful, but it tasted just as good as it looked! Jeff was so great to work with. He gave us tons of options to choose from and completely saw our vision. It was perfect!

We had a great experience working with Jeffery to get our wedding cakes. My husband is lactose intolerant, so it was important for us that we got a cake he could eat without problems. Jeffery was happy to work with us on that, and gave us a number of great options to accommodate his dietary needs. We needed up getting two cakes, a diary free one for him and one with dairy for me (I love butter cream frosting too much) and both were phenomenal. Definitely one of the best cakes I've ever had. We also loved the versatility in design that he offered. I'm a big D&D fan, and I asked him if he could make my cake look like a mimic, and I loved he came up with.

Jeffrey was great to work with - from the first tasting to delivery! He has unique creations and the flavors are distinct and bold. He makes everything fresh and you can taste the difference. We had several tastings with other businesses and this was the best in freshness and flavors. There were so many good options, it was hard to narrow it down. Jeffrey is very easy to communicate with and open to changes, we will happily order from him again for future cakes!

Super delicious dessert! We did a 2 tier cake and cupcakes. The cake looked very lovely. We had a lovebird cake topper and he made a beautiful frosting nest for the birds to sit on. I will say that if you go with Sweet Assurance, get more dessert than you think you will need because our guests gobbled it up really quickly. Guests loved the dessert!

Cake for my September wedding was great, however I had specifically asked for a cake stand, in writing (an email), the day I sent in the signed contract and it was overlooked. Worst, in my opinion, was when I presented this problem to the company after the wedding, it was totally ignored. I guess you get what you pay for in life. Recommend you research other vendors in this area of the wedding industry for better service.

Jeff made my cake and cupcakes for my wedding, and they were a hit!! This is some of the best baking I've ever had, and I highly recommend. No need to look anywhere else. I can't wait for my next event so I can order again!

We purchased a tiered cake for our wedding from Jeffery. The tasting made it difficult to decide on which flavors we wanted because everything was delicious. Even a year later, our cake came out of the freezer moist and like it tasted the day of our wedding. The quality and taste of the cake was fantastic but I feel that the end design of the cake was not what we discussed or what I had pictured. Five days before our wedding, Jeffery contacted us with a problem with the cake risers and expected us to resolve the problem. This made the week of the wedding very stressful when it could have been resolved before the week of the wedding. Overall, the flavor and texture of the cake was great but the design was not as expected.

Jeffrey was incredible to work with from the very beginning. There wasn't a thing at the tasting we didn't like so deciding was hard! He took our request and modifications and made an amazing cake. It was stunningly perfect. I almost cried when I saw it! All of the guests commented on how good it tasted. It was moist and the perfect amount of sweet without being too sweet. They even made us some extra gluten-free nut-free cupcakes as a late request to accommodate some of our guests! I tried one and was so shocked at how good they were. My son ate them on accident and didnt realize it wasnt the regular cake! I'm already trying to decide when we can order from them again!

Working with Jeffrey was one of the least stressful parts of our wedding! He was creative, patient and super friendly. He accepted the challenge of a 1920’s themed cake without the use of fondant. He delivered! When it came to the tasting, he was kind enough to box everything up for us, because my fiancé couldn’t make it. The cake and cupcake bouquets, were stunning AND delicious. He’s our “cake guy” from here on out!

Our wedding cake was spectacular! A four-tiered showstopper, just like I was hoping for! Not only was it stunningly beautiful, but it tasted AMAZING! Each tier was a different flavor combination and there is just no way I could choose a favorite. Our tasting was so helpful in helping select flavors and with all the options that Jeffrey offers, there’s something for everyone! I wanted the cake to be something everyone talked about and that was a success! I highly recommend Jeffrey for any special occasion cake you might need!

Cakes are unbelievable, seriously the best cake we have ever had. We had a lot of issues with another bakery and when we found sweet Assurance at a wedding fair and I immediately felt so comfortable with him and loved the whole process. The tasting was wonderful and the cake was beautiful. We will never get another cake from anywhere else!

We purchased cupcakes for our wedding and they were amazing. All of our guests were asking questions and barely left any for us to bring home. While the quality of bakery was incredible I personally feel we got lost in the shuffle a little leading up to the wedding.

Jeffrey deserves glowing reviews. His cakes are spectacular, and even when he's super busy, he still makes time for us, was flexible and found time to send me reminders. I'm grateful to have run I into his booth at the wedding fair, tried his cupcakes and gotten a chance to talk to him and ask questions.
We just had our wedding last night and my FIL ate 3 cupcakes just this morning. His cakes are so phenomenal we're wondering when he's going to have a bakery so we can order from there.

Jeffrey (Sweet Assurance) was amazing to work with from start to finish! The tasting was comprehensive to say the least with many flavors of cake, icing, and filling to choose from (all delicious). He really helped our vision for our cake come to life and worked closely with us on all the little details. He was also very responsive and answered all of our questions along the way. The guests absolutely loved the cake and I got compliments/questions on it all night! I highly recommend Sweet Assurance for a high quality cake and high quality experience.

Jeff was so great to work with! From the moment we did our cake tasting we knew we wanted to work with him. The cake tasting allowed us to try the different cakes and fillings in different combinations which is what we appreciated the most. The day of the wedding went great and the guests couldn't stop raving about the cupcakes!

We got so many compliments on our cake, our guests said it was the best cake they have ever had at a wedding! Jeffrey's method for presentation for the cake slices is awesome and every slice looks perfect. We had our florist leave flowers and he placed them once he arrived at the venue with the cake and it looked fantastic. Cake was so delicious. Can't wait for our first anniversary so we can have another slice!

Sweet Assurance was amazing! I got a lot of compliments. I'm pretty sure all of the filled cupcakes got eaten. I'm having a hard time saving the one piece of our cake for our anniversary because I want to eat it right now! They were super nice and easy to work with. They have a wonderful complimentary tasting with a million options (I left with a stomach ache because I had too much!). Everything was beautiful and delicious, and affordable compared to other bakeries. By far the best bang for your buck!

Jeffery deserves more 5 stars! He is absolutely awesome! He's personable and gets things done. The tasting was absolutely fantastic (which is saying something since I am a very picky eater). He offered a variety of options and combinations. This is the only cake baker I can recommend. Buddy has nothing on Jeffrey.

Jeffrey has ruined grocery store cakes for us because after tasting his cakes, there is no going back! We can't recommend Sweet Assurance enough! We hired Jeffrey for our wedding on 9/18/21 and our guests STILL talk about the cake at our reception. From the first tasting at his house, we knew no one would measure up to the flavor and variety he has to offer. We chose a white cake with triple berry mousse and Italian buttercream and it was absolutely perfect! When we first spoke to Jeffrey we were going to do a small 2 tier cake and then sheet cakes to serve, but as our vision for our wedding changed he was great at being flexible. We changed to a stunning 5 tier cake that was truly breathtaking! He delivered all the way to Rochester, MN and set up our cake during our room flip. Jeffrey was so easy to work with and had great communication. We will be getting all our special occasion cakes through him now!

From the tasting to the final cake and cupcakes - Jeffrey was AMAZING to work with! Starting with the tasting, Jeffrey hosted the tasting and provided multiple cake, filling, and frosting flavors to create the perfect combinations. For our wedding, Jeffrey made a two-tier cutting cake (champagne cake with strawberry and chocolate ganache filling and Italian buttercream) plus three flavors of mini cupcakes for guests (peanut butter chocolate, triple berry, and caramel). Everyone raved about the cake and tried every flavor - we recommend you try them too. On top of the cake and cupcakes, he made a stunning and realistic cupcake bouquet to match our center pieces. Also, we rented the cupcake stands through him at very reasonable pricing and he set everything up onsite. We highly highly highly recommend choosing Sweet Assurance!

Five Stars all around. Jeffrey was great to work with from the tasting to the final design! Our cake turned out and tasted exactly as we desired. Jeffrey's variety of flavors, fillings, and frostings beat anywhere else we looked. We were able to achieve a light yet flavorful cake for our wedding day! Originally we were going to have simple cupcakes from Sams Club for my daughters wedding. Then we tried a raspberry cake make by Jeffery. Simply amazing! We received so many compliments from the guests that it was the best cake they ever had. I would highly recommend the Raspberry Cake with mascarpone cream filling and Italian butter cream frosting!!!!!

What's one of the most essential wedding details? The cake of course! I'm extremely happy that we chose Sweet Assurance to make it for our big day! The owner of Sweet Assurance is a great person to work with a genuine good person all around; very easy to communice with and talk to. We booked a little later than most, but he was easily able to create the perfect cake and cupcakes for our day. There are lots of very delicious options at Sweet Assurace, and all at extremely reasonable prices. We are so looking forward to enjoying more of our cake in a year! Sweet Assurance did a phenomenal job and we will definitely be using his services in the future!

Jeffery was great to work with. He was prompt with communication and made everything a breeze.
Our cake turned out just the way we wanted, and he was so patient with all of our changes and downsizing of the wedding due to COVID.
His fruit fillings are simply amazing. He tries to source all his ingredients locally from Minnesota. We loved his cake so much that we got one for my dad's birthday!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were all amazing! We had so many people rave about the different kinds of cupcakes and how delicious they were. Sweet Assurance does a wonderful job at taking parts of other cake images that you like and creating your own cake, we were able to combine three other cake designs to create our dream wedding cake. There are so many flavors and options that you are sure to find something that everyone will love!

Sweet Assurance catered to our every need. We requested a gluten and dairy free cake for the bride (best I have had being GF for 5+ years) and three different flavors of cupcakes (after our taste test we couldn’t pick just one!) for our guests. Everyone commented on how good the cupcakes were and the few GF or DF guests appreciated having cake as well!
The design was spot on. I sent photos of various options and Jeff used them to create a unique style for us. He also came to the venue and set up the cake and cupcakes in a cute arrangement. We didn’t have to touch the table at all after he was done. Cake cutting pictures looked great!
Would definitely recommend for your event! We continue to use them for birthdays, baptisms - really any excuse for a cute and great tasting cake!
