I can't say enough great things about Mellissa! Having her on our team was a game-changer for our wedding. She went above and beyond to ensure our event went off without a hitch. Her kindness, attention to detail, and amazing energy made working together delightful. Melissa was accommodating and readily available throughout the entire planning process. She was always willing to take phone calls and discuss any additions to the timeline in the months leading up to the wedding. She handled any last-minute changes that arose seamlessly and ensured that my vision was executed perfectly. Throughout the wedding weekend, my family, husband, and I could relax and celebrate our marriage. With Melissa's help, my husband and I did not have to worry about venue setup, timelines, or anything logistical. Melissa's exceptional dedication and attentiveness made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for wedding planning or day of coordination.

All I have to say is HIRE HER! Meliss was seriously the best coordinator we could have asked for. She helped organize and ground me when I went into panics about planning and all there was to do. She went above and beyond at every turn and helped me make a lot of decisions when I was too overwhelmed to make them myself. Meliss had so many great ideas for decorating and asked questions I never would have thought of. She came to the venue the day before to help set everything up and led our bridal party in rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, she was a life saver! She went to bat for me when our venue made last minute decisions that went against what was previously discussed. Then when our band cancelled mere hours before our ceremony (!!) she called everyone within a 2-hour radius and found a DJ who immediately packed up and came to our venue! The whole day was perfect despite all the obstacles, and I have Meliss to thank for that. If it wasn’t for her, I would have been so stressed I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy myself. She is a miracle worker and I am recommending her to anyone who will listen!

We hired Melissa as our day of wedding coordinator and I am certain the wedding would have been a disaster without her. We had a few phone calls leading to the big day that she reminded me of little details I hadn't thought of. She even let me have some rental items mailed to her house since we would be traveling and not able to receive them in time. Our officiant was a family member (which was a surprise) so she coordinated our rehearsal and played along with our surprise the whole time. We had our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, a state park and a 4H center, neither of which had staff to assist with the coordinating role so Melissa was essential. On the day of she handled finalizing everything at the reception so we could get ready and not have to run everywhere. She set up rental lights we had ordered, set up the cake table, added our cake topper and put the cupcakes on the displays, she set the place settings at every seat, and most likely much more that she didn't tell me to make it perfect :) During the ceremony she kept everything on time and on track, guiding the bridal party with their cues to walk down the aisle, keeping me hidden, fixing my dress, adjusting the volume of the speaker, she even provided a reserved sign for our front row which I had forgotten. She transported our aisle flowers from the ceremony to the reception and set those up (a detail I had overlooked) before cocktail hour began. Of course Melissa kept the entire reception on time, she made adjustments throughout the evening as needed including the lights, and a/c temperature. She handled releasing the tables for the buffet and even assisted guests in determining which cupcakes were which flavors since they looked the same. She taught us how to do the wobble :) all while cleaning and organizing everything so we were ready to leave, we only needed to spend 15 minutes after the reception to put everything in our car. My parents arranged a surprise send off so she even stayed later to assist with that. I chose Melissa because her website says she takes the stress out of the day for the bride and parents and she certainly delivered. We were able to actually enjoy our own wedding which I know is not always possible. Even our guests were commenting the next day on how organized everything was and they never realized how essential a wedding coordinator is. Most importantly, Melissa was so friendly, supportive and genuine which made her a pleasure to work with every step of the way. This was a destination style wedding, we live in PA and had guests from all over the east coast attending so unfortunately I do not have anyone in the VA area to pass Melissa on to so please take my advice and hire her! You will not regret it!!

Hiring Melissa was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding! My mother has a lot of experience with weddings as a floral designer and it meant a lot to me to design a lot of the wedding ourselves, but I didn't want to sacrifice enjoying my day with her so we knew we needed a day of coordinator to step in. Melissa let us tailor that package a little bit to include some ahead of time help with figuring out the layout of our tables and even helped us navigate how to do things safer in the era of covid so that we had a game plan the day of. She went above and beyond showing up the day before the wedding to help us decorate and breaking things down at the end so that there was less on my parents and did a great job directing our wedding party and family at the rehearsal dinner so everyone knew what to do during and after the ceremony. The day of she was a life saver making sure everything went smoothly, and most important stepped in and told my mom to "stop working, tell me what to do and go enjoy this time with your daughter.", it was the most precious gift to have my mom by my side the whole day and we can't thank Melissa enough for that. She's extremely professional and organized and helped us solve problems as big as helping track down our bartenders that got lost on the way to the venue down to decorating our cake table and making sure we stored the top of it correctly-there were so many little things we would have never thought of that she tackled effortlessly and I know it saved us a world of stress. She was extremely personable and kind during the whole process and is clearly someone who cares about what she does and the people she works with, our family and wedding party really enjoyed getting to know her and it made everyone (including our other vendors) feel so much more at ease with her directing things. She was an asset to our wedding day and we highly recommend her to anyone else who's looking for a wedding planner!
