Sweet Deets Events

offering thoughtful guidance, creative ideas, and unwavering support. Her vision was incredible, and she helped turn our dream wedding into a reality we’ll cherish forever. What truly set Sarah apart was her calming presence—any time we felt stressed or overwhelmed, she knew exactly how to reassure us and keep the planning process fun and lighthearted. Her positive energy and warm personality made the entire experience such a joy. She was organized, accommodating, and always one step ahead, making sure every detail was perfect. We couldn’t recommend Sweet Deets Events more highly—she brought the best vibes and helped create the most magical day of our lives!

m this area, we had no idea who to hire to bring our vision to life. We had high expectations but were completely in the dark. Sara held my hand every step of the way, guiding us to the perfect vendors. Despite a pouring rainy day, my daughter and son-in-law had the wedding of their dreams. Sara quickly adapted to the situation, sorting out the new location and arranging everything flawlessly. She has the perfect balance of kindness and authority, ensuring we listened to her ideas and worked together effectively. It was a pleasure to work with her, and I discovered that many vendors consider her a favorite as well. Easy Entertaining, which Sara recommended, was excellent! The hot food was fantastic, and we received not a single complaint. Michelle Jeanne Floral Design provided flowers that were otherworldly—never in my life, nor in the lives of most of my guests, had we seen such stunning arrangements. People couldn’t stop talking about them! And the band... what can I say? We all had tired, sore feet the next day from dancing the night away! From beginning to end, Sara was with us, ensuring that not a single detail was overlooked. She was the MVP without a doubt. She introduced us to exactly the right people and kept track of all the due dates, simply notifying me of what was needed. I placed 100% faith in Sara, and I was not wrong. I am so thankful for the angels who led me to her. Hiring Sara was easily one of the best decisions I have ever made! Thank you, Sara, for creating the most wonderful day ever. It truly would not have happened without your incredible skills. You are awesome!

her communication was fabulous - as we were planning an American wedding from the UK. The day would not have gone as seamlessly without her and her presence really allowed us to enjoy the day. We would recommend her a million times over. Thank you so much, Sarah!

r enough. Sarah is so personable and easy-going - and really understood how to work with us in crafting a wedding we were happy with. She helped us sharpen the specific details that were needed from the beginning of the process to the execution, gave invaluable feedback about standards/norms, and broke things down simply in what would otherwise be an overwhelming endeavor. She also worked seamlessly with our other local vendors to iron out details, and took away a ton of the logistical stress and planning involved in getting married! What also impressed us is Sarah's creative/artistic background. Based on our vision and specific things we wished to incorporate, Sarah designed for us personalized wedding menu cards, name cards, napkins with our cat on them, table cards - you name it! This streamlined the process and instead of having to identify new people to design, print, etc - we were able to rely on Sarah for everything. The day of the wedding ran smoothly with Sarah and her assistant setting up and running things behind the scenes. She was conscientious about checking in with us throughout the evening without being overbearing. She took initiative to do many things during the wedding and after that made our lives so much easier! We were both so grateful to have her calming/bright presence there. If you are on the fence, let us say that Sarah is definitely your lady for a fantastic wedding experience and you cannot go wrong.

st and I truly recommend her services!! If it was possible I'd give her 100 stars!!

that she’s ever been a part of. My husband and I err more on the side of procrastination and Sarah was very kind and understanding along every step of the way; she was definitely integral to the success of our day. I can’t recommend Sarah enough.

e hard and detailed work of Sarah & her team! When I went to Sarah, I had nothing planned and was a ball of stress and anxiety - She took that all away and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing Sarah is! A MUST during your wedding planning process!

ndors and made sure everything was setup exactly how we wanted. We could not have asked for a more kind, caring, organized and patient wedding planner, especially going through rescheduling during the height of Covid. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a top notch wedding planner in New England! Thank you, Sarah!

elp with managing all of the vendors, and found ourselves underwater. In a panic, we hired Sarah as our day of coordinator. Let me tell you that this was the best decision we made for our wedding. Sarah was absolutely incredible and brought to the table years of knowledge and experience to help guide us through "checking off all the boxes" while still brilliantly executing our vision. On our wedding day, she kept us and our vendors all on track, following the wedding timeline she expertly put together in the month before. When we had questions, she was always available to answer them in the time leading up to the wedding. She even saved our day by sending someone to pick up our cake when it was discovered that it was not delivered. We couldn't have imagined having to deal with that ourselves and are truly grateful Sarah was there looking over all the details. She guaranteed that we could truly enjoy our special day. Thank you Sarah, you are the absolute best!

lm and smart about the details…which I adored that Sarah was so into the details - I think we discussed the coat check situation for at least 45 min. :) Needless to say, she was simply incredible. We turned to her with every detail, including a few family crisis and she was so helpful and so diplomatic! Just what we needed! If you are reading this-YES! You need a planner. I was an event coordinator in college and I thought she did far and above than what we expected and hoped for!

ended decisions, choices, and selections allowed us to focus our efforts on organizing multiple vendors sourced across multiple states for our amazing day. Her remarkable resourcefulness also, quite literally, saved the execution of our after-ceremony events! My best man experienced an unfortunate slip, and he ripped his pants lengthwise in the process. It was her deft pinwork that saved our countless photographs afterwards. If you value a seamless and enjoyable experience planning any event, your first choice should be Sweet Deets!

nd more. Sarah put me at ease, ensured all vendors understood the timeline, sat in on all final meetings and the day of set everything up to complete my vision and the day went smoothly. She is beyond kind, professional & detail oriented. Everything you could want in a planner!

ch to the table when planning the wedding. She is completely organized and keeps all parties on schedule for decisions that need to be made, big and small. She goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of --some of which she executes herself, using her background in design and graphics-- and is unfazed by changes or last minute requests. Every single vendor she recommended --florist, calligrapher, photographer, transportation, rentals, food, etc.--was top-notch. Sarah worked with each of them to nail the vision for the day and did so in a way that keeps you in the loop but saves you time and effort (and, often, money). In addition, she not only helped plan the welcome party prior to the wedding, she set up unique centerpieces and collected them all at the end of the evening, so that we could enjoy the evening without additional stress. She is calm and supportive when needed, but can be firm with a vendor or venue when required. Most of all, she is a delightful person to work with!

s the best decision we ever made. I have not-so-jokingly said that I'm not sure we would have had a wedding at all if it weren't for Sarah. We may or may not end up naming our first born after her. She kept us calm during a crazy year filled with Covid uncertainties, was able to carefully listen to our jumbled ideas and somehow pull from them what we really wanted, and brought so much creativity and insight to our planning experience. Not only did she steer us towards the most phenomenal vendors, she expertly communicated with vendors on our behalf and was able to negotiate with them in order to bring our vision to life. We live in D.C., so planning a wedding out of town was difficult, but Sarah made it feel like a breeze. She knew exactly when to handle things on our behalf and when to check in on our vision, which we were incredibly grateful for given our busy schedules. We hired Sarah to help with planning our entire wedding weekend, which included a welcome party, wedding, and Sunday brunch. She absolutely nailed all three and worked with almost every one of our immediate family members in the process. I truly cannot recommend hiring her enough. We had the perfect wedding weekend and it all started with Sweet Deets Events.

rah during covid relieved a substantial amount of stress and was always so flexible and optimistic with the amount of changes and restrictions leading up to the wedding. Throughout the entire process, Sarah was extremely organized, responsive, and accommodating. Additionally, she has great attention to detail, passion, and creativity. She helped us every step of the way from handling contracts, flowers, cake, stunning decor, signage, rehearsal, and day of coordination all with a smile, positive spirit, and calmness that were incredibly invaluable to us. On the wedding day, Sarah was always there when we needed her but never in the way, going above and beyond helping in so many ways that made the day so seamless. Despite the many weddings she was working on she always made us feel a priority. We highly recommend Sarah and her team, we don’t know what we would’ve done without her!

creasingly overwhelming. Little did we know that choosing Sarah would end up being one of the best decisions we ever made and worth every single penny. Sarah helped with every single detail of planning the wedding, gave invaluable advice regarding Covid protocols, spent hours on the phone with us talking us through logistics, coordinated with all of our vendors and took care of everything on the wedding day so that we could all relax, enjoy ourselves and truly live in the moment. When the percentage of rain went to 100% thirty minutes before the start of our outdoor ceremony, Sarah calmly talked me through my options and helped me to feel at peace no matter the result. We ultimately made the decision to go for it, and were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony but she made that entire experience 100 times less stressful than it would have been without her. Sarah also made sure that everything at the end of the night was where it needed to be- I definitely would have lost multiple meaningful items without her help making sure that everything was put back where we had discussed for it to go. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. I can't say enough good things about her and she truly became a friend throughout the process. Highly, highly recommend!

se is invaluable and we appreciated every moment of her help. She was always quick to respond, manage the other vendors and set everything off without a hitch (thank goodness because we got married during Covid). Our micro wedding was so much fun and with Sweet Deets Events I didn’t have to stress about anything! I highly recommend getting Sarah to help you with your special day!

few months, I realized I was taking on a bit too much and ended up reaching back out to Sarah to see if she could be our full on wedding planner. She said, it wouldn't be an issue and scheduled a meeting to go over the details and my vision that same week! Sarah did a impeccable job managing all of the vendors, and going over all of the final, small details with me to ensure everything the day of was perfect. She did an excellent job as well with managing our large bridal party and ensuring that everyone knew exactly what they were doing and when it needed to be done. On the day of, Sarah checked in regularly with me and the vendors to ensure everything was going smoothly and that everyone was on time. I remember Sarah saying "My goal is to make sure that on your wedding day, the only thing you need to do, is have fun". We certainly did. She truly took care of everything! My bridesmaids kept asking about her because she was so nice, warm and professional. I'd highly recommend Sarah to help with your wedding planning process. She's awesome!

for a day of coordinator. Her on the spot problem solving skills optimized a tricky weather situation and things worked out seamlessly. She effortlessly juggled many personalities and vendor logistics. Knowing we were in Sarah's capable hands was the best peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day. We would not hesitate to recommend her.

yond what I expected from a day of coordinator. From the beginning, Sarah was such a delight to work with, and was always available to answer any questions I had and give her expert advice. On the day of my wedding it was pouring rain in the morning - major bummer for a tented reception - but knowing Sarah was there to manage all the vendors and make sure everything went smoothly was invaluable. I was completely relaxed and knew she would take care of any issues that came up. Ultimately we ended up moving cocktail hour from the muddy lawn to an indoor space thanks to Sarah's game-time decision, and I am so thankful we did! Everything was perfect. I even had wedding guests & team members from my other wedding vendors tell me how helpful & fantastic Sarah was to work with. Suffice to say, I highly recommend hiring Sweet Deets for all your wedding planning needs. Thanks again, Sarah! - Liz M

e and she jumped in and coordinated with all our vendors and had every nailed down to a T. It was so easy to work with her and she made the destination wedding significantly less stressful. Super professional, organized, and thoughtful - I'd highly recommend Sarah!

he is so helpful and a true pleasure to work with. Sarah and her assistant went out of their way to make sure my day was perfect, they even took care of my dog!!! She helped with everything from coordinating every last detail, setting up the reception, dealing with family members, and beyond... I would HIGHLY recommend booking Sarah and her team ASAP!

d a lot of great ideas and advice in bringing our dreams to reality and was also very sensitive to our preferences and budget. Our day went off without a hitch; both our parents commented on how smooth the day was and everyone had a fantastic time. I felt no stress at all (to the surprise of many around me)! Thanks Sarah for everything!

e helped us create a to-do list in the weeks before the wedding that was critical to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks (and she was very helpful telling us what was optional and what was more important as we were getting closer to the big day). Our parents loved the detailed timeline she created for the wedding day, as all of the details we had been slowly providing them for months were all conveniently in one place! On the wedding day itself, she and her assistant were two steps ahead of us at all times, anticipating our needs and sliding things around on the schedule as needed to keep the day flowing easily. She was always nearby, but never in the way. She grabbed our marriage license from our room while we were taking photos, was on-hand to answer any questions that our parents had, kept in contact with all of our vendors throughout the day, moved our cards and gifts up to our room after dinner, and helped the venue staff clean up at the end of the night. If there were any problems, we didn't hear about them! We had a wonderful, easygoing day, which was in large part thanks to Sarah!
