Sweet Honeybee Events is a wedding planning service based in Oklahoma City, OK. Owner and master planner Sydney Barron specializes in making the planning experience as enjoyable as the wedding day. She believes that wedding coordination and design is the beginning of each couple’s happily ever after.
Sydney had several years of experience in the wedding industry before establishing Sweet Honeybee Events. In founding her own company, Sydney sought to transform her clients’ wedding visions into reality. She has proudly received her wedding planning certification from The Bridal Society.
Sweet Honeybee Events offers various planning packages designed for clients with different budgets. With their full-service plan, couples can enjoy attentive service from the initial consultation until the final dance. You may also choose from partial, month-of, and day-of coordination packages.

Sydney was a DREAM to work with!!!! She was with us from start to finish and made sure that our wedding day was everything we ever wanted. She was great at hyping people up and she helped us put together our vision for the wedding. This day would not have been the same without her. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you for everything, Sydney!!
We love when Sydney comes out to our venue! She does such an amazing job. She is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. We love working with her. When she's here, we know everything will be taken care of!

Look no further!! Sydney and Jordan were a dream team! We had great conversations back and forth leading up to the day, had a great meeting, and she made the day run so smoothly! She is not only AMAZING at what she does, but she did something that really touched my husband and I. We looked over at one point when there was nothing for Sydney to do and saw her dancing with our little cousin. Sydney made her feel so special and it touched us so much! The time, the details, the energy, and the love she showed for her work and for making our day special was magical! She is the best and we can promise you that you want her! I am a worrier and OCD and a perfectionist, but I didn’t have to worry about anything and was able to be completely hands off because of Sydney and Jordan! Thank you so much! You want her as your planner I promise!!

Sydney was the best planner ever! Sydney made us a priority and she went above and beyond! I could not have had a better day without her and I am honestly convinced that it would have been a disaster had I not decided to hire her last minute. She was very accommodating and she absolutely crushed my expectations. If you need a wedding coordinator, she is the one to go with! Wedding coordinators are absolutely worth it!

Sydney at Sweet HoneyBee Events went above and BEYOND for our Colorado mountain elopement. We traveled from Oklahoma City in October of 2019 to get married in the mountains with a very small crowd and it could not have turned out any more perfectly! We had a very short engagement with high hopes for our wedding and had no clue how to make our vision come to life. Sweet HoneyBee Events was not only able to help us plan an elopement from states away, but she also helped me find vendors and locations still available in the short time frame we had. Sydney communicated with vendors and created a timeline, she met with us and called us frequently to make sure we were feeling at peace with everything, and she traveled to Colorado and coordinated every detail of our day so we never had to worry about any of those little wedding details. It was no easy feat, but she made it happen effortlessly.
We came to her with a plan and she made it into such a beautiful reality. Everything went seamlessly, from the planning process to the actual day itself. My husband and I never felt any stress during any of the wedding planning process because of her. We love Sydney so much and can’t thank her enough for making our dreams come to life.
We were blown away by her talent and her professionalism. She is such a beautiful person inside and out, and is genuinely invested in her brides and their lives. If she can easily pull off a beautiful elopement states away in just a few months, I am convinced she can handle anything.
If you’re thinking of hiring Sweet HoneyBee for your wedding or any other event, DO IT. You will not regret it.
