My overall experience with Sweet and Easy Events was very disappointing. I had first inquired about quotes for various decorations and services that they could provide per their questionnaire on their site. I had heard multiple positive reviews so I asked for quotes and set up a meeting to discuss expectations. I had personal experience decorating for weddings and had high expectations of what I wanted my themed wedding to look like. During the meeting I asked multiple questions and adjusted the quotes based on what my now husband and I had needed. A very specific question and one of the main points for this review, was if the bows are perfect looking bows and showed a picture of my expectations (not drooping sides, satin fabric, experience in tying the bows to look professional, etc) I was told yes we can definitely do that and that was a HUGE selling point to me. It was even noted in the contract that the bows needed to be done as such. My husband and I agreed to sign the contract with rough estimates and the clause in there about the bows and agreed that a final meeting would happen to go over final numbers of chair covers, table cloths, bows, and other items. Shortly before our final meeting I was contacted and asked to choose between one of the two styles listed below. Neither was the expectation I had laid out or had shown photos of. I was extremely disappointed in being led on that this was able to be done...after discussing with my husband and mother for support on this very specific issue, we decided to choose the fabric that match the table runners and had at least some shape to them(the satin fabric shown even when ironed did not hold its shape as promised). We also had our final meeting in which we had to add on some additional tables cloths, and chair covers/bows, etc. Fast forward to our rehearsal day. The company is there setting up and my coordinator (hired separately from SNE) comes to me stating that the company is short table cloths, chair covers/bows. After almost a 2 weeks notice per the contract they were still short on materials. They agreed to show up at 9am the following morning, aka wedding day, and didn't arrive until 10a after multiple phone calls from my coordinator. My coordinator also mentioned to me that some of the table cloths and chair covers were stained. So I reached out in 3 emails and a phone call to discuss our deposit that hasn't arrived yet and it's been more than their 60day return window. My husband and I agreed to take the loss but are extremely disappointed in the company and will not be recommending them to future brides or companies.
*I will try to attach photos I had received from the company in the comments*
Lack of communication, very unprofessional. Our wedding planner would talk about her personal life, and medical appointments that she had been having, and then come to find out we were getting billed basically to be her therapist. The wedding day was great, because of our loved ones being there, but honestly it was a nightmare working with these people.
When we first booked our wedding with them, we were assigned one wedding coordinator, then she left the company, without a word to us, (a hint of bad working relations maybe!) then for months weren't assigned a new one, and when we would meet with Theresa the owner, she would have non committal remarks about hiring someone, or not sure about who would actually be there on our wedding day. YIKES.
Plus having to pick up where the other planner had left off, mind you paying the planning fees as well, even though we had discussed a plan already with the previous planner.
Ironically anything but sweet n easy.
I hired Sweet N Easy Events because I thought it would make it less stressful during my wedding day. Days leading up to the wedding, I had questions in order to do other planning and I didn't get answers for at least 3 weeks and then was told they had other clients they had to worry about before mine and that if I wanted my questions answered I would have to pay the $25 an hour to meet with them (virtually). Ok fine, I just had questions I needed answered in order to proceed with plans with the venue so I paid it. Then the day of, there were only 2 people decorating. 1 decorator said they were messaged on Facebook and was asked if they could help. They said they would get a team together and show them the plan I had made, but she had no idea about what the plans were. The other decorator was amazing! There were supposed to be 3 people but one never showed up. Needless to say, the one that was from Facebook left for an hour and half and left the other one by herself. My sister and her mother in-law were there to help coordinate but ended up decorating most of the hall themselves! The decorators were able to decorate the night before, but the morning of, all the back drop (they decorated) behind my head table was falling down and we had to fix it. I also paid them to pack up my stuff after the wedding. They left all of my stiff hanging out of boxes and didn't even have the decency to close them and everything was just thrown into a random boxes. When I was sorting through them later on they didnt even put like things together. I found pictures in different boxes, glowsticks in different boxes, my picture frames were found in a few different boxes also. I had everything labeled for them and I had the boxes everything came in and extra boxes from stuff that didn't need to be put away. They told me I didn't have enough boxes! I my wedding was on June 23rd, 2023 and i have been trying to get some of my money back since 6-24-23. I went on my honeymoon the following week so I had my sister trying to contact them and she talked to 3 different people, she asked to talk to the owner but haven't been able to. I emailed them as soon as i got back from my honeymoon and still haven't gotten a response. Please consider someone else or family members before going through this company.
Theresa and her entire staff are incredible. From day 1, they made sure they knew my vision and took care of every little detail. We could have never pulled off a wedding during 2020 without them! She met with us multiple times, communicated when needed, and ensured we were comfortable throughout the entire process (including the night before and day of!) It was such a relief knowing Theresa was there to take on the questions from all the vendors, set up and took down our venue (even outside of their job scope), made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, and ensured our day went as smoothly as possible. They do so much behind the scenes, and for that I am so grateful. Do not second guess hiring Sweet N Easy - you will get to actually enjoy your day and have beautiful memories forever because of them!
We had a flawless experience with Sweet N Easy Events from the first meeting we had with them to our wedding day. They had a wide range of wedding supplies for us to choose from and helped talk us through our options, which we loved because we didn't know exactly what we were looking for when we went in.
The weeks leading up to and on the day of our wedding, they took total control of coordinating with the other vendors, ensuring everything was set up at the venue and making sure the day went smoothly. They went above and beyond, even taking on some of the duties of the venue coordinator when they were tied up. They made our wedding day look absolutely beautiful and allowed us to feel at ease and focus on our day because we trusted them to handle everything else.
We cannot recommend Sweet N Easy enough. We tell all of our friends and family who get engaged to work with them because of how enjoyable they made the whole process from start to finish.
Wow. I cannot day enough about this company. I originally did not think I’d need a coordinator because I am very organized and love to plan! I sought out this company just for rental decor and wow did I end up with much more- making my day smooth, sweet, and easy!! :) no matter what the size of the wedding, I’d highly recommend getting the day of coordination service. This is not a “wedding planner” so you don’t pay a huge cost! Any questions the guests, venue coordinator, bar tenders (the list goes on), Travis was on it! He would frequently check in with myself and husband to inform us what was coming next or just to see if we needed anything. The rental decor was also a huge blessing- it was beautiful, and I don’t have to worry about selling it! The biggest benefit using this company was there set-up and take- down service. My bridal party and parents were so appreciative that they could just enjoy the morning and night of the wedding. They even loaded gifts and any flowers/items that were mine right into our parents car! Getting that service was the best gift my parents could have gotten!
Hands down, best decision to include into your wedding budget!
If there's one piece of advice I could give a bride (specifically one on a budget), it would be to spend the money to hire a day-of coordinator. Jackie with Sweet N Easy went above and beyond for us. She coordinated our ceremony and reception so effortlessly that I didn't have to worry about a thing, I could trust in and rely on Jackie to keep the day running smoothly and on-time. Sweet N Easy also draped the ceiling in our reception hall, which gave the room a touch of elegance without being too over-the-top. Would 100% recommend!
We work with Sweet N Easy Events on a regular basis. They have a large selection of items to work with and are always up for new ideas and designs. Their pricing is very affordable and competitive and their services are very flexible.
Travis and his team were great to work with! From start to finish, he listened to what we wanted and did not try to sell us on any extras that we didn't want or need! He was flexible with all of our last minute changes and very organized. We really could not have pulled it off without hiring Travis as our day or event coordinator, he was great!! Highly recommend!
I had these guys (Travis at Sweet N Easy) do my wedding, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Here's why.
I wrote them an extremely detailed, easy to follow check list of things I wanted them to do, items I had, and where I wanted those items to go. I certainly went above and beyond what's expected of a client in terms of direction. And I did not have a lot of decor; in fact, we have so little left over that, aside from vases, I have nothing extra. Yet they managed to mess it up.
Instead of placing programs where people could get them at the ceremony, they forgot them, and laid them out on the card table at the reception. You know... when no one needs them. I had dried flower petals that I wanted sprinkled down the aisle at the ceremony and then on the tables at the reception. Instead, they dumped them together into a bag and put them all on the aisle. I paid to have a speaker system for the officiant; none was present and the officiant had to speak loudly at our outdoor wedding. I was not offered a reason for why there was no speaker, nor a refund.
What they did do-- chair sashes, lighting, music system-- was done well.
Why do they get one star? Minutes after I posted my original review, Travis wrote to me on Facebook messenger threatening to charge me more for "extra services" at my wedding! My wedding took place on 7/31/18 and I'm posting this on 9/17/18. He's being ridiculously unprofessional and childish, not to mention what he's threatening is illegal since our contract is closed.
Attached for your viewing pleasure is a link to the message he sent me, so you know what to expect from him.

(In case anyone wants to know what he's talking about re: the arbor, the guy who was supposed to deliver the arbor backed out at the last minute and Travis stepped up to get it there. Apparently that service is worth more than the missing sound system and his other f--- ups.)
Also, on Google he DARED say I had a poor rapport with all the other vendors-- Most of them were personal friends and family, so no. Another disgusting lie. I highly recommend Leah McFarlane, my photographer; Mary Jo Koeppen, my florist; The Marq for catering; Mirrorless Productions for videography; Andrew Clemans for jewelry; Tess Gray as officiant; Manderfield's for the cake; and Bubolz Nature Preserve as the reception hall.
Five stars for everyone but you, Travis.
Travis and Karin were absolutely amazing to work with. They were excellent with communication, and very easy to work with throughout the whole planning process. All of our wedding guests commented on how beautiful everything was and I have Sweet N Easy to thank for that!
Sweet N Easy is amazing to work with! I was pretty laid back with what I had in mind for my wedding and they went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined! We got so many compliments on how gorgeous everything was put together! They were great with keeping the day on track and our wedding went on without any issues. Hiring Sweet N Easy was the best decision I made for my whole wedding! I can't thank them enough!
The services cost more than they're worth. Promises were made and not kept. Poor communication. Unprofessional.
Sweet n Easy was so AMAZING to work with! We were looking for a company that allowed us to rent from them, provide our own décor, and also do the set-up and tear-down and we found all of that with Sweet n Easy!! Travis was awesome to work with and would get back to me right away, whether it was via email or text! They were able to set up the night before our wedding, and he even sent me a photo of the décor to ease my mind! :) They will work within your budget and can add things to your contract even at the last second (I had a centerpiece disaster..). They were very professional throughout the teardown process, as we still had guests celebrating and had everything completely packed up by the necessary time set by our venue. I would recommend Sweet n Easy to any Bride!
From the centerpieces, sleigh card box, special lighting, confetti at midnight, jazz band, ceremony musicians, chair covers, table runners, ring bearer pillow, wishing tree, card table, head table with tooling and lights, knife set, lanterns, broach bouquet, and so much more...it literally blew our guests away! Every minor and major detail they did. I would highly recommend their business to EVERYONE! If you dream it...they will create it!
