When Searching For Your Florist...
Thoroughly do your homework when you are comparing each Florist. Flowers are a perishable & delicate product, I strongly recommend you consider quality before pricing. You diffidently wouldn't want your dream flowers to die half way through your Wedding day, because you booked the "Florist" that gave you the lowest quote. It's no secret that all Florist purchase flowers from the same wholesalers worldwide. Unfortunately not all Florist have the proper refrigeration needed to store your flowers correctly. There are products available to Florist that are used when processing flowers in order to maximize the life of flowers. Because of the costly overhead the products create not all Florist will use them. Be sure you choose a Florist that properly processing & stores your flowers. Before you make a final decisions make sure the Florist that you choose has a good amount of photos of their recent work. Be sure their photos display the designers range of style & level of design skills. Have clear communication with whoever you choose, go over every detail of your wants & needs. There should be no question that your expectations & visions will not only be met but exceeded. Discuss a reasonable budget & different options that are available to maximize that budget. When you and your Florist start discussing the specific type of flowers to use in your designs, focus on staying with then your color scheme while using "seasonal" fresh flowers vs using premium higher priced flowers it will help immensely to maximize your budget. Lastly make sure that the Florist you choose has excellent, authentic reviews online that are from Wedding related past clients. If your potential Florist is not licensed and insured I would be extremely concerned.

We had a great experience with Sweet Stems and Sara as the florist for our wedding! We booked our wedding through Wedgewood and Sweet Stems was our assigned florist. Flowers were probably the major aspect of wedding planning that my husband and I felt most uncertain about (we didn't know what we wanted, what we should expect in terms of cost, had no real flower preferences, etc.). On our first call with Sara, she clearly explained what was included in our Wedgewood package and what options we had for add-ons. She answered all our questions and made suggestions for flowers we could use to achieve the color scheme I had in mind. After we had to change our venue due to construction delays, we got on a call with Sara and talked through what changes we needed to make for the new space and again, Sara made things very easy for us. We had a couple small changes along the way (e.g., we changed our minds about corsages and where we wanted "memory" flowers placed), which we were able to easily handle via email with Sara; she always provided us with an updated contract so we could make sure everything was as we wanted and we knew the pricing. On the day of, Sara and her team set everything up beautifully. They went above and beyond by draping chiffon at our ceremony site and moving our ceremony flowers to our sweetheart table after the ceremony was over. We would highly recommend Sweet Stems and Sara to anyone who needs a florist! She has a great eye for floral design and made everything so easy for us!
We had Sweet Stems for our assigned florist booking through Wedgewood Weddings. Working with Sara was very easy and accessible during the initial planning. She has her appointment calendar set up so you can select what time works to meet even a few weeks out. I recommend creating a Pinterest board for the first initial meeting with Sara so that she can easily set up which flowers and colors you are looking for your vision. After the first meeting we had all our flowers, colors, orders and price set. Before the wedding Sara didn't mind meeting with me a few other times to go over extra designs and orders. At the end I felt very confident that Sara was going to take care of us for all of the floral needs. When the day came we were blown away with how beautiful everything turned out. We were extremely impressed with our ceremony arch and sweetheart table which was a big highlight in our wedding decor. All our flowers for the wedding party stayed intact the entire night and had the color pop we were looking for. The bouquet also held together overnight before taking it to the flower preservationist the next day. We are so grateful that we had Sara and her team as our florist and would highly recommend her for Temecula weddings!

I hired Sara for my wedding this past March and all I can say is WOW! The flowers came out so beautiful. I talked with Sara about the kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding and she delivered! The boutonnieres are magnetic which I really liked so people weren't struggling to put them on. Thank you Sara for helping my wedding come out beautiful.
Sara truly does an amazing job with arrangements. My husband and I did not have a concrete vision for what we wanted with our wedding florals, but after our consultation, Sara was able to pull together a look that really tied together our fall wedding. Additionally, she does a good job at tailoring the florals in a way that fits your budget. The show stoppers were the floral arrangement she did for the tree at our ceremony and the bridal party bouquets; both were everything I could have hoped for. A couple things that drove me to only give 4 stars instead of 5: after the initial consultation, working with Sweet Stems seemed very corporate--emails seemed automated/generic (and really hard to read w/the formatting) and there was not much personal communication/check-ins in general as we got closer to the date (very different style than the other vendors we worked with). Also, my one nit with the florals was that the boutonnieres for the men were huge, so much so that we opted to not use them since the consensus was they would look a bit silly. It was unfortunate, but not the end of the world, since as I mentioned, the big florals were stunning.
All in all, I would recommend Sweet Stems as a wedding florist; Sara and team know what they are doing which really takes away some stress from the bride/groom.
Sweet stems was nothing less than amazing to work with. Sarah met with me numerous times and was beyond patient when I decided to change my flowers not once, but twice. Our flowers couldn’t have been any more perfect.
Sara from Sweet Stems is very thorough during your initial meeting and works to put together a vision board of flowers based on your budget. Her arrangements were beautiful, and her team set up everything quickly and efficiently. The bouquets, especially my bridal bouquet, were spectacular. I ordered one less boutonniere than I needed, and Sweet Stems quickly made one for our groomsman.
I am rating 3 stars based on two disappointing parts of my experience. While none of these things were a day-of show stoppers, based on the time and effort it takes to plan a wedding, they were certainly a letdown.
1. As you can see on the style board, there was a specific theme we were going for. The colors were oranges and peaches. When I went to go see my cake on the wedding day, there were two giant ugly red flowers on the cake. There were also red flowers in my table arrangements. Nowhere in the proposal did we ever agree upon red, and it totally ruined the look and cohesiveness. While I understand there can be substitutions based on flower availability, Sweet Stems should have picked something within the color palette and not decide to pick a totally new color.
2. Communication. Communication with Sara after the initial meeting is difficult. She can take over a week to get back to you regarding questions and concerns. Her email system also makes it impossible to read her messages. Her email signature is so much bigger than the rest of the body of the email. Emails that come from her system are difficult to read because of the formatting and the length/size of her signature. It was hard to keep track of everything.
Overall, I felt okay with my decision to hire Sweet Stems but the two items outlined above would definitely prevent me from recommending them to someone else.

Sara is AMAZING!! As someone who works in the wedding industry, I wanted to be sure I had the BEST of the BEST -- and that is Sara with Sweet Stems!! My florals were absolutely breath-taking and took my wedding vision to that sought-after Pinterest level of design! My consultation was very smooth and easy. Florals are my most favorite part of wedding design, and Sara sat down with me to create my DREAM wedding vision, then helped me select the types of blooms, colors, and design ideas that would fit into my budget. I love how Sara will work with you to find creative solutions to give you the most bang for your budget, like creating design ideas that can be moved from your ceremony to your reception or communicating what blooms are most budget-friendly for the season of your wedding. Sara is also super down for doing new, creative ideas or trends---she actually designed a flower crown for my horse!!
Sara's florals were amazingly fresh and smelled AMAZING. They were so fresh that they ended up lasting 5 days past my wedding! I also loved how I was able to keep the flowers and vases so many of my family member and guests were able to taker her florals home to enjoy after the wedding. BOOK Sweet Stems, it will be the best decision you make!! Thank you Sara!!
Overall experience was good. Had some mishaps with communication throughout but it was all understanding due to family emergencies and covid.
The initial consult was great and straight forward with floral choices, color, and design. One of the design I was really looking forward to was tall candelabra floral arrangement and I was disappointed when I saw it. It was mostly greenery wrapped and 5 roses on it. Something I think I could of just done myself and save the money. It did not turn out heavy in florals as consulted (which I included a Pinterest Inso photo too). The petals on the aisle was not as heavy as consulted also. The rest of the vases (6in) arrangements looked fine. The flowers were wilting already by dinner and it could be due to the heat and sun that day. Sara was very generous to include a floral piece for my table seating chart last minute with no charge. I wished there could have been MORE flowers, the arrangements didn't seem as full as I'd wanted. I do think I spent more than the quality received. I am grateful for the service but I did feel let down a bit.
Our wedding last weekend looked absolutely breathtaking, and an enormous part of that is due to the beautiful work by Sara and her wonderful Sweet Stems team! I cannot recommend them more highly enough! :) The consultation with Sara was easy breezy because she KNOWS weddings. Rose petal coverage? Wrist corsages? Boutonnières? I honestly had no idea how to choose florals for a wedding, but Sara walks you through every step. She was careful to listen to all my needs and wants. I emailed her with some last changes the week of the wedding and she was accommodating and totally lovely about it. On wedding day itself, the Sweet Stems team (amazing ladies) found us in the bridal suite, delivered all our personal items on time, and then set-up our arch and all the details we had discussed. They were professional and their designs looked STUNNING. The flowers smelled amazing too! Thank you a million to Sweet Stems for making our wedding look like a fairytale!!!
I am a very big floral person so florals were a really big deal for me when it came to my wedding. I knew I wanted something bright and fun and different but wasn’t really sure how to make that happen. After speaking with a couple other floral vendors I was not feeling too excited and then I came across Sweet Stems. She was so incredibly on-it and I could tell she put a lot of heart into her work and that was exactly what I wanted. I gave her out colors and she came back with the most amazing palette. She was super responsive leading up to the wedding and answered all my questions and had ideas too! She coordinated with my coordinator to make sure that pick up went smoothly and that they would last till the day of the wedding. Day of the flowers were INSANELY beautiful. I was seriously blown away walking up to our arch and holding my bouquet. She captured exactly what I wanted and I seriously felt like I was in a magazine! I definitely squealed multiple times looking at these florals throughout the day! THANK YOU so much for creating something so beautiful and perfect for my Husband and I! If we ever have another event I am coming to you!!!

We booked Sara in Jan of 2020 just before Covid hit. Sara was very accommodating working with us the entire time to find a new date that worked for our venue and other vendors.

We had the most beautiful wedding flowers from Sweet Stems. After COVID rearrangements, we were already stressed planning, and they made it so easy. I had full faith that my vision would come to life. I cannot tell you how many compliments we had at the wedding. The arch was incredible, all of our flowers, the candles…everything was perfect, and amazing pricing! Thank you for making all of our visions come to life!
My original florist was booked and passed me along to Sweet Stems so my entire list of floral needs were already put together. Sara took my pre-made list and did not ask me any questions about it. She didn't ask me if I had any questions leading up to the wedding day or if I wanted to see any examples of florals she's done similar to what I was requesting. I never received a phone call or an email through the entire process. Reaching out to her was nearly impossible as she is extremely untimely with her responses. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she's just bad with emails but on the actual wedding day, no one came up to me to see if I liked any of the florals or even a congratulations. I can't even say that I met Sara that day as no one introduced themselves to me. Even my other vendors asked me who they were so they could make sure to not recommend them to their other clients. I was shocked we were spending so much money with them yet not one person said a single word to me or my husband.
Secondly, we had 20 pillars at our reception which we agreed would be filled with Italian Ruscus for $1100. The flowers that ended up being put on the pillars were ferns. Not only were they the wrong plant but they were also extremely embarrassingly done. It looked like my 5 year old niece put them up. I reached out to Sara to ask for some kind of compensation to make up for the wrong florals and I have been flat out ignored. A month has gone by with no response yet. I would really stay away from them as they clearly don't show to care very much about their clients. I really have been so disappointed with how they have handled everything.
Sara is amazing and so sweet. Everything was so smooth and easy to work with. The photo mirror is a total must. It was a total hit. Highly recommend having the photo mirror at your event!
Sara is the best florist EVER!! She was so sweet and everything was drop dead gorgeous. I can’t explain to you how much you need her in your life! She’s so talented and an absolute pleasure to work with ever detail she put in did not go unnoticed.
We were very disappointed in this vendor. She was late to set up, the flowers were Brown by the end of the evening, and she was very difficult to get a hold of. She wouldn't take direction from our coordinator and would take 7 business days to return an email. She didn't do any business over the phone, either.

Holy crap. If I could give more than 5 stars to sweet stems I would. Sara took my vision for our florals and absolutely RAN with it. I gave her a color pallet, an idea and said have fun. We fell in love with Sara when we first met her at her office to go over the details of our Wedding. She was very knowledgeable with the availability of my favorite flowers. Sara did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers! Due to Covid-19 we ended up changing our 140 person wedding to a 24 person wedding with 3 weeks to go. Sara worked with us to come up with a new plan and re-purpose the flowers we had already purchased. The results were jaw dropping. I met with her and instantly felt more comfortable with her than the pervious. She was great to work with and worked with our budget and listened to what we wanted. With her expertise we were able to lock down all the decision making and ideas on the first meeting. The best feeling ever as a bride on the day of your wedding is silence from your coordinator, because that means everything is going as planned. Sara made it so easy for us. She arrived on time, decorated our arch, had all our centerpieces, bouquet and boutonnieres staged and ready to go. Sara is a magician when it comes to wedding flowers! She was very easy to work with and during our first meeting with her, we got a great visual of what every floral piece would look like before we left! Sara was easy to communicate with and I was able to send her inspiration photos easily. On the day of my wedding I was blown away when she brought in my bouquet! Sara is an amazing, thoughtful florist who is very kind and very professional. She was the florist for my vineyard wedding in Murrieta, California and I cannot recommend her enough. She brought to life the vision of my wedding with her floral detail, and absolutely made my wedding beautiful. Her and her team were punctual, detailed, easy to work with, and went above and beyond with their decorating. Sara was always easy to communicate with and always responded to my lengthy emails in a timely manner. Her price was absolutely affordable and an incredible value for everything she and her team did. She even made herself available for a site visit, since my husband and I put our wedding together at a vineyard not usually used for weddings. My wedding planning process began months before I moved to California, and Sara was an absolute dream to work with even from 3,000 miles away! Sara was amazing. From the first time we stepped foot in her office we were impressed. We came in knowing what colors we wanted and in less than an hour she was able to build out our dream wedding flowers. She was super accommodating when I had several revisions and was always really quick to respond. She also did a great job of getting my new husband and me what we each wanted. Day of she arrived early and helped my planner set everything up. When she brought our bouquets into the room you could tell they were so fresh. The whole house instantly smelt so good! She also made us our dream sweetheart table. It was all talks and ideas in our minds till we saw it all together. Honestly everything was perfect and Sara is amazing to work with.

Sara is Amazing! Not only is she extremely educated when it comes to the type of flowers available in specific seasons she is extremely reasonably priced and soo helpful! We had no idea where to start when it came to choosing flowers for our wedding thankfully Sara took the time needed to help us create a beautiful design board and select specific flowers available in our budget and price range. Our wedding turned out even more beautiful then I could have imagined it would have! Thank you so much for all your attention to detail and hard work it was definitely appreciated <3

Sara is a freaking goddess!! I've worked with Sara professionally dozens of times as a photographer so I was very acquainted with her work when it came time to choose my wedding florist. She was my one and only choice as a florist, and was one of my deciding factors in picking a date. I could not get married on a certain date if she was booked! I knew she would create beautiful bouquets and arrangements for me but my expectations were completely exceeded on my wedding day. She took my Pinterest photos/thoughts at our floral meetings and designed the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. It's also been days since my wedding and my florals, that have been sitting outdoors in the heat, still look good somehow! I don't know how she does it, but her florals look amazing throughout an entire wedding day, regardless of the weather. She is also an absolute angel to work with and to know. From our 3 hour initial consultation to my frequent bridezilla emails with additional requests, Sara was the best! Sara did all of the florals when my partner and I decided to elope. We met with her several times as I was a little indecisive on exactly what I wanted. Sara listened to everything I liked from multiple sources and brought to life a vision I couldn't put into words to tell her. I was SO happy with the final product! Sara is a phenomenal florist! When I met with her about our wedding she clearly proved she is a floral expert. She worked with my budget, knew what flowers would be best priced and how I could get the most for my amount. We hired Sara as our florist for our wedding. She was easy to work with and very responsive to emails and texts. Everything turned out beautiful, except there were roses in all the arrangements (except for the bride's bouquet) and my wife specifically said no roses through a few of our meetings (hence the 4/5 stars).
I would still recommend Sara because everything turned out great, even with the snafu.
Sara was awesome since the very first meeting we had. My fiance and a I had gone to her office and she was very prompt, organized, and very easy to work with. She offered lots of suggestions when I was confused with certain arrangements and made the whole wedding planning process a lot easier. She even recommended me to another vendor for piping/draping whom I also loved.
I lived in Dallas while wedding planning, and I did lots of communicating with her via email and she was very quick to reply and I really thought her detailed invoices were great. It was a lot easier to envision arrangements with her invoices.
On the day of the wedding, I loved all my bouquets and arrangements in the church and at a the reception venue. She also worked great with all my other vendors. I would definitely recommend Sara, she is amazing!

Sara was the most warming and bubbly person ever! She met with me and my two year old and was able to help me decide on my decor, while also helping me handle my son!
