Swoop

Beware! We booked our shuttle months ago and they cancelled today with our rehearsal/wedding tomorrow and the next day. They were great to work with up until this point so there was really no warning. They notified me by email and never responded to calls or texts.

We found Swoop relatively last minute when we found out we had so many guests staying a ways from our wedding venue. Pros: Relatively easy to communicate with, all points of contact were very friendly, very affordable pricing, shuttle showed up on time (actually very early)! Cons: READ THE SMALL PRINT CAREFULLY. We were given a quote and actually had to send it to our venue for them to pay - they were paying for our vendors so we only had to pay them. Package deal. Anyways, turns out the quote had expired. This is fine, except for the fact that we were notified the quote had expired the week before the wedding, AFTER our venue already paid for it. A salesman emailed to say the price had gone up $200 and our shuttle wouldn't be reserved until that additional payment was received. Long story short, our venue worked it out with the salesman (who was very nice!!) but that business practice really put a sour taste in our mouths. Also. Apparently the ride back was very uncomfortable. We had a 28-passenger mini-coach. Our guests notified us it wasn't air conditioned for the 30 minute drive, and the bus itself had no suspension, so they were being tossed around a bit. All in all - if you do your research and book with enough time in advance, this company is probably worth the price. If you need something last minute, just be warned of these things.

Alex, who I worked with when creating my wedding/ transportation plan was extremely helpful and professional! The drivers weren’t quite on his same level.. the first driver hit a car in the parking lot on the first trip and the second said that in the 3 hours we were having him take guests back to their hotel from 9pm-12am he was only going to make 2 trips even though we pay by the hour for unlimited local trips and our transportation plan accounted for as many trips back and forth that would be needed in those 3 hours. He ended up doing the trips that were needed but not without my MIL (who paid for the service) having to leave the reception to go deal with him.

Do not book this company if you want a trustworthy, responsive vendor! Similar to the other reviews here, Swoop contacted us to let us know they had "double booked" all of the vehicles we were using for transportation to and from our wedding and other events for Friday and Saturday - a week before this was supposed to happen. Instead of an apology, they said we could pay more to bring in additional vehicles. 3 emails and 3 voicemails later and we STILL haven't heard from them. Save yourself the headache and use a different transportation service!

I should've paid attention to the red flags. From the booking process, to the struggle of trying to speak to someone about changes all led up to the fact that the shuttle I had reserved that held my entire wedding party and family was over an hour and a half late. I, unfortunately, missed out on being able to take pre-ceremony pictures while we still had daylight. It all could've been avoided if I had listened to my gut from the beginning. I think the most upsetting part was that there was no excuse, no apology, no follow up, just silence. I would never hire this team for future events.

I came to Swoop two months ago pretty stressed about having the perfect wedding, and with that came organizing the transportation aspect of it. For all the brides out there, you and I both know, weddings are for our parents - I'd have soon eloped if I didn't love my mom as much as I do. Regardless, I came to Swoop desperately looking for various forms of transportation to cater to all the needs of my guests from both sides of our families - and what I got was above and beyond what I could have imagined. They went through all the logistics with me to ensure the vehicles were timed perfectly to make it on time for our ceremony. The day of everything went swimmingly. The drivers were so professional. I spent the entire night doing what most lucky brides get to do - downed a few drinks, and danced with my husband until they kicked us out of the venue. Happily ever after? Who knows, we'll see, but it sure as hell started pretty smooth.

Where do I even begin… I am so grateful for finding Swoop last minute from a friend after the my previous transportation company cancelled on me just THREE DAYS before my wedding. My wedding was in Palm Desert and everyone else I called in the LA surrounding area would not come out. Swoop agreed with no hesitation. I was a little worried at first because of the short notice but the day of they performed without any issues. It was flowing on it’s own and I didn’t even need to think about it (as I was so occupied with million of other things running through my head). From the last minute solutions they offered me when I was in dire need, to them being able to respond to my emails and frantic calls and then performing beyond exceptions on the day of. I highly recommend using Swoop for your Wedding!!

Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend using Swoop at all. If you do choose to use them, please have a backup plan! I found Swoop on the Knot and I reserved a limo bus to shuttle my wedding party to and from our ceremony location to the reception venue back in August 2021. I checked on my reservation in September and saw that there was no driver assigned. I emailed and they said that my reservation was confirmed and that I'd get the driver's information 24 hours before the trip starts. I just wanted to be able to confirm the stops and times with the driver but as long as they had my reservation I had no issue with this. This Monday, six days before my wedding, I get an email from Swoop's operations rep that the limo bus (Titan) that I reserved was damaged the previous weekend and that the repairs are taking longer than expected. I was given two options: 1) they'd look for another vehicle but it would be a mini-coach with forward facing seats, however, they weren't sure they'd be able to secure one because rides are booked for the weekend, or 2) give me a full refund. I tried to be reasonable and patient as they were working on finding a comparable vehicle and said they'd update me by the end of the day. I asked if they could find two smaller passenger capacity limo buses if they couldn't find the one I reserved. At 8:30 pm they emailed and said that they could not find any size vehicle party bus or non-party bus for me but would update me again the next day. I emailed back asking If I found something comparable would Swoop compensate me for the difference in pricing as they've given me no solutions with the wedding in 5 days. I waited until the next afternoon before emailing and asking for an update. The operations rep said they secured a bus (not similar to the one that I reserved) but they did not have a driver available. They said they'd let me know if they find a driver or refund me to search for something else. Today, three days from my wedding, I emailed saying I could no longer wait if at this point they still have no driver and a similar vehicle. Swoops response was that they'd send the refund and cancelled the reservation. I feel like they basically held my money for 3 months and issued a refund and left me out to dry 3 days before my event. This is such an inconvenience and I feel like they didn't go above and beyond to find a solution for me. For your sanity, please book your transportation needs with someone local and more reliable.

Do not use this company. Swoop called us at 9pm the night before our wedding to let us know they did not have enough busses to fulfill their obligation to us. Their solution was to offer us transportation for 50 guests instead of the 104 we had paid for. When we asked if they could provide for what we had purchased they said it would cost extra. Luckily we were able to find someone to cover for their mistake and our guests were able to get a ride. After refunding our money they offered us $300 in credit with them as an apology. Unless you enjoy last minute wedding stress, lack of communication, and having emails ignored. Do not use this service.

We initially did not have a good experience at all on our wedding day with a very late and very rude driver. We had booked a bus for 2 hours to go from the hotel to the venue and around the grounds to have our bridal party photos. We ended up having to find our own way to the venue, the bus eventually came for about 45 minutes for whatever photos we could do, and we were 20 minutes late to the ceremony. However, after speaking with customer service we were able to come to a resolution about our issues for our event, and they seemed to care a lot about making it right with us.

Swoop was amazing to work with! As an event planner, transportation is one area that I worry about the most. It is hard to clearly articulate when and where guests need to be picked up, if the driver should wait for all guests or leave at a certain time so they are not late, and if the driver should plan on one trip or looping between two locations. But with Swoop it was truly seamless! The driver came ahead to time to drive each route ahead of time. We also texted all day to make sure we were on the same page in terms of timing! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who does not want to worry about transportation anymore :)

We had a HORRIFIC experience with Swoop. DO NOT USE THEM. The drive to the wedding went fine, but the pickup was mind-blowing. The driver was beyond unprofessional. He was first difficult for our wedding planner to get ahold of, on arrival he screamed in her face that we were already late, when in fact he was 30 minutes early. He then proceeded to threaten our guests and act extremely aggressively. He then screamed in my face, I was the bride. He was supposed to make two trips between the venue and the hotel, he only made one, and complained the entire drive. We did not feel safe at all. He refused to give us his name or credentials, so it is still unclear if he was even a qualified driver. On top of this the company was extremely slow to respond and offered us a tiny refund, after two weeks to "review". Unless you want to be treated like garbage on your wedding day, I would never use this company!!!!!!!!

Swoop was communicative and very flexible and easy to work with. The van they provided was clean and the driver was very kind.

I used swoop for me and many bridal party last month and the service was great. I hadn’t heard of swoop before but decided to give them a try based on the reviews here on The Knot and they did not disappoint. They are prompt with sending you an email with a quote of what your requested service would cost, and then confirming it was fairly easy. The day of the wedding I received an email with the name of my driver and what specific car they would be driving. He was waiting outside the hotel lobby at the time specified and had a sign with my last name on it for extra clarity. They are pricey (my husband + groomsmen took Uber Premium and saved way more money) so I can’t quite give the 5th star, but the service was extremely professional and it helped ease my mind on my wedding day.

Swoop was AWESOME!! The driver was patient, professional, and courteous. The bus was clean and well stocked. I highly recommended them to take some of the stress from your big day.

We chose Swoop for wedding party transportation and they did not disappoint! They were super responsive and willing to work with us with all of our changed plans due to COVID. Everything worked out wonderfully - the prices were reasonable, the bus was clean, and the driver got everyone where they needed to be on time. What more could you ask for in a transportation company?!

I was very disappointed with this transportation company. They were not responsive to emails prior to the wedding date. They are over priced for what they offer and the quality of the vehicles. On our wedding day, our limo was awful and the music was not working. The limo also forgot to pick up the flower girl from her hotel so we had to scramble last minute to figure out how to get the flower girl to the venue last minute, causing our ceremony to start much later than we anticipated. In addition, the shuttles wouldn’t move out of the way when the groom and groomsman arrived causing additional issues and chaos.

Despite a change in our wedding plans, we are SO grateful to have worked with Korey Kelly at Swoop. He is incredibly professional, timely in his responses and was willing to work with us on a fair agreement for our special day. It is truly bittersweet that we have to pass on Swoop as I have been really impressed with Korey and his team since the start, and was looking forward to using their services. My fiance and I have nothing but positive things to say about Swoop and will definitely consider them again for 2021. Please take my advice and do not miss out on Swoop for your wedding day or event of any size - they are incredible!

Our experience with Swoop was amazing. They were professional, fairly priced, excellent about getting back to me when I bad questions/changes, and overall just great to work with. We arranged transportation to/from our wedding venue for our wedding party so they wouldn’t have to worry about it. We had two different drivers (one for transportation to the venue, one for pickup after our wedding was over) and both drivers were really nice. Especially our driver at the end of the night who had to deal with quite a few drunk people and didn’t bat an eye about it. We would definitely use Swoop again in the future.

Absolutely love SWOOP! Their customer service was awesome from the first request to the day of the event! We had Tim for a USC football game and Jesse for a Disney on Ice day... both gentleman were professional, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and most importantly flexible. They even had a couple recommendations themselves that we ended up doing instead. Can’t wait to use them again. I recently worked with Swoop at a wedding venue with restricted access. Everything on their end went very smoothly, and I am SO glad we had the on-site logistics coordinator. Jack was a rockstar and I fear what it would have been like without him. We knew exactly how many shuttles/guests had arrived for the ceremony so we could start on time. Twice as many guests as expected stayed until the very end, and we hadn't scheduled enough shuttles. Jack worked very hard communicating with the fleet to get enough shuttles to make a second trip so we didn’t have to utilize Ubers, and he communicated well with me (the wedding planner) and the guests and had a great attitude. I didn't need to stress about the shuttles because I knew he had it covered. I highly recommend that anyone working with more than 1 shuttle or location utilize the on-site Swoop coordinator. It's a small investment with a big reward.

We hired Swoop for all of our wedding day travel and they were great. We picked Swoop based on their competitive pricing but they delivered so much more than that on the day. They were on time, the cars were in great condition and the drivers were lovely.

I got married this past July and I am so glad I used Swoop! This was the easiest company I've ever worked with. They were very fast and easy to talk to. It was very convenient that everything could be done online. As my wedding date kept approaching, it was very frustrating to have all vendors try and call me so it was one less thing I had to stress about. Everything was clear and transparent from the start. Driver showed up about fifteen minutes early which made things easier. He was really sweet when I asked if I could hide as they moved the groom so the bridal party could go in. He kept me busy as he could see I was nervous and kept me laughing the whole time. I will definitely use them again in the near future.

I found Swoop from a facebook group for Wedding Professionals and they came highly recommended. My couple decided to book a shuttle at the last minute and Swoop was amazingly helpful! They helped me determine how many shuttles I would need and we secured everything online with a direct link. I loved how they showed you what the inside of the shuttles looked like. We had to change the drop off location multiple times and they were incredibly helpful with the followup through text messaging as well as email. Everything was very easy to pay for. And they were super flexible when my couples wedding got delayed by an hour due to a brush fire. They had sent me each of the driver's information so it made it super easy to contact them and let them know about the revised time for pickup. And....there were no hidden fees or charges! Will definitely be using them again and recommending them to my clients!

Overall, we had a great experience with Swoop. We had a number of different vehicles getting people where they needed to go the day of the wedding. The best part was definitely the bus that took us from the wedding to the after-party location. They allowed us to play music and we had people dancing and singing the whole way there. It really allowed us to keep the energy up and the fun continuing after the reception.

We used Swoop for our wedding and the experience was seamless from the first contact until after the ride. Korey was there through the entire process to make sure that our shuttles and logistics were set up in a way that worked for us, and also managed to make it more cost effective by making the suggestion to stagger the trips for our return at the end of the night. On the day of our wedding planner was in constant contact with the Swoop concierge team and they were super responsive. The icing on the case was when the driver returned sunglasses he found on the bus that belonged to some of my friends. Swoop is what transportation should look like in our day and age!

I attended a wedding earlier in the summer and my friends used Swoop to shuttle guests (myself included) to the venue from the Hyatt and we also took a huge party bus to the afterparty. The reason I am taking the time write this review is that I was in charge for the partybus on the way back and was in touch with the driver and the swoop concierge team and they were lovely. Super professional, took everything very seriously as well as checking in with us after the ride since someone left their phone connected to the music. If I get married one day I'll use Swoop as well :)

Seamless and unforgettable experience! We used swoop to shuttle guests from the ceremony to the reception, about a 30 minute drive. The booking process took minutes and the driver was great. Swoop was not only SO easy to book and reserve, but they were great day-of! They made sure we were set and comfortable, provided sodas/water/ice in the party bus, and let us make as much of a party as we wanted! My wedding party didn't want to leave the bus! I had 3 of their shuttles pick up and drop off our guests including myself and the groom from hotels to ceremony to reception and back! They have such an amazing fleet of vehicles to pick from too! My guests were happy and got everywhere on time. The drivers were professional on time and made sure no one got left behind. We had the pleasure of using SWOOP for our wedding as the shuttle from our hotel to the venue and back. We chose the 40ish person bus, and it was awesome. SUPER clean, super new, the driver was great and he allowed us to put on our own music though a sweet sound system on the way back after the wedding. During the quote receiving stage, they were quick to respond, professional and had better prices than the four other shuttle companies we looked at. There was constant communication before, during, and after the event as well. Roy and his team ensured that my bride and I knew exactly what was going on, who was driving us, what the schedule was, and everything else we could ever hope to need to know. A+ service all around.

We booked 2 shuttles for our wedding on St. Patrick's day. Roy made our booking quick and easier. They have reasonable rates compared to other vendors. They took our guests from Hyatt Regency Long Beach to Wayfarers Chapel (30 min drive) and back to the hotel. They came on time and our guests had a comfortable ride. We had a complimentary hour for one of the shuttle as their wedding present for us. I highly recommend them for anybody who need their services in the future.

I was overwhelmed and frustrated by my search for shuttles as I found many transportation companies to be expensive, unresponsive or downright shady. So I was relieved when I found Swoop! What a great and convenient service. They were very responsive, had lots of options and an easy online contracting service. They even advised me on how much time to allow for the specific trip we were planning. Although I didn't have a chance to ride the shuttles for my own wedding, we heard great comments from all our guests who said how clean and nice the vehicles were. They were extremely prompt and were responsible for getting almost 75% of the guests to our wedding. But it went off without a hitch and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Love these guys! We used Swoop for our wedding transportation. I hired two shuttles: one for the wedding party and one for the guests, to transport people around Los Angeles the day of our wedding. The sales and coordination team (Pete and Roy specifically) at Swoop is wonderful. They are responsive, friendly and super easy to work with. The pricing is very reasonable. And the drivers they user are very friendly and provide wonderful service. The shuttles are new and clean and very comfortable. We absolutely loved working with the Swoop team and would consider them in the future for all kinds of other events where we need transportation.

I ordered the Black Mamba for my daughter’s wedding day- the staff was very accommodating and on time- I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

First off, Roy checked in me with via text/calls multiple times before our wedding day. He was soo on top of our event, I can honestly say I did not worry about transportation at all. Our driver arrived on time the whole day, and the shuttle was very clean and sleek. Swoops pricing is also extremely competitive. It was a great choice to arrange transportation with Swoop. We had lots of guests out of town/country. My husband and I decided to set up a charter bus for our guests. That way they don't have to worry about driving after reception that contained alcohol. When first getting a quote, Amir was very helpful. We wanted different pick-up and drop-off location. And two trips at the end of the night. And it was no problem to arrange it. It was very easy. I asked my family and friends sho took the bus and they said it was very clean and comfortable. I would use Swoop for my future events again.

Swoop was one of our favorite vendors from our October 6th wedding! I had booked with Peter months before and it wasn't until the week of our wedding we realized our transportation schedule was completely off. He came to the rescue totally last-minute and made sure we had enough shuttles for our guests that were staying at four different hotels to arrive and depart on time. Swoop has the nicest shuttles I've ever seen and our guests thought so as well. The drivers were all nice and our concierge ensured that everything was on schedule. We will definitely book with Swoop the next time we have an event!

We hired Swoop for our wedding to provide the transportation for our ceremony, reception, and post reception to area hotels. We had an amazing experience working with them, from beginning to end. The team was VERY helpful in planning out the logistics of how the service would run the day of the event- answering countless emails, scheduling calls, and really worked hard to make sure everything went smooth. The day of, the plans were executed perfectly. The drivers were friendly, the shuttles were clean, and guests were well taken care of. Shuttles was a big aspect of our wedding due to the venue location, and we were so happy to have found Swoop!

Swoop was a great experience. Received a response withing 24 hours quoting exactly what I was asking for, and allowed me to book, sign, and pay electronically. I was really impressed when Swoop called the week of to go over the details, just to make sure they had everything correct. Then they followed up with a detailed checklist with images and map locations of pick-up and drop-off (down to what area of the parking lot they will be waiting at, insane). The prices are higher than you would hope, but the customer focus was superb and the vehicles and drivers were spectacular (we rented the Ice Cube and Mini Me).

I had a fantastic experience with Swoop and would highly recommend them for any transportation need! My husband and I booked 4 Swoop shuttles to assist with transportation on our wedding day. The entire quoting and booking process was easy and smooth - they were willing to work with our budget and needs. On the day-of, the shuttles were very timely and my guests really enjoyed the experience. I will definitely keep Swoop in mind for future events!

The party bus and shuttle service were great. Both drivers were early and communicated extremely well where they were on pick up to and from the venue. They were extremely flexible and went the extra mile to help out. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for their big day!

We were very hesitant to hire a shuttle for our wedding to be honest. It was something extra we looked at adding on two weeks before the wedding. We are SO happy we did it and SO happy we went with Swoop in particular. They were amazing. Accommodating, friendly, detail oriented, personable and a great value. We heard so much positive feedback from our guests about how happy they were to have the shuttle and how helpful the drivers were. Swoop is the best! We used Swoop for the Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Reception and the next day for a large wedding (200 guests). Shuttles transferred hotel guests to and from all the events including during the day and late at night. The wedding party used two limos also from Swoop. Swoop provided outstanding service. Always on time and with very personable drivers. They understood our needs very well and were very flexible. Our guests have commented on how the shuttle service made the whole weekend work. We would certainly use them again for another event. They were wonderful.

I used swoop for my bachelorette party as well as our wedding and had such an amazing experience! I was always impressed with how punctual the drivers were. There was a ton of timelines to coordinate - shuttling the bridesmaids, then groomsmen, then 80 people to and from the event. It was a lot to coordinate and I was impressed with how punctual they were for each time slot. The rides were super nice and fun to be in, the drivers are great and the team helping you get everything set up make it so easy. Where do I even begin...... My husband and I are so happy that we found Swoop and were able to use their services for our wedding in Huntington Beach in the fall. When we booked our venue we knew we wanted to be able to provide transportation as we had guests coming from my hometown of Los Angeles, our current home in San Diego and everywhere in between. Swoop is a game changer when it comes to weddings. They have an array of vehicles that will suit any style wedding. We were going for a classic, upscale look and ended up going with the "Beyonce" (great name for this beautiful car). The customer service was excellent and our driver was the MAN. Cant wait for our next Swoop adventure!

My wife and I were extremely impressed with Swoop. Their concierge service was very responsive and provided a list of pricing options, vehicles, logistics, and tracking services so we knew when everyone would arrive on-site. They offered a wide range of different vehicles including a charter bus, shuttle van, and sprinter vans. We ended up using a tricked out sprinter van which had luxurious seating, lights, audio-visual equipment, even karaoke. Additionally, they reached out a week before and a day before to confirm everything. Swoop was easy to work with, the drivers were great (Hi Tim!), and the vehicle options were perfect for what we were looking for.

Swoop - these guys are great. My wedding was in Malibu, CA in October and we used Swoop transportation for all our guests. Leading up to the event, Swoop was quick to provide different options to accommodate all our needs, from the quoting process, to the different vehicle options, to all the logistic information and following up numerous times before the event. We ended up booking 2 Swoop Charter Buses that ran as a shuttle from the hotels to the venue and back. Prices were affordable and they were so easy to work with!

My wife and I were part of a large group that used Swoop at a winery wedding this past weekend. Way more fun and convenient than a bunch of individual ubers all the way out into the countryside. Very nice and spacious interior, easy to book, and everyone had a blast.
