ed Sycamore Creek, it was evident that having our wedding here would be a blessing in this aim. The whole team was helpful and intentional throughout the whole process of wedding planning. It felt like we just got to show up to the wedding, everything else was taken care of for us. The space is also just BEAUTIFUL! We also loved getting to go out on the gator to take pictures on the property and the sweet gift of a lock to place on the windmill. ocess was so easy for us even though we were planning the wedding from TN, and we never saw the property before we booked. Lisa was super responsive in answering all of our questions and helping us ensure we got everything taken care of. The actual day of the wedding, the staff the day of was so kind and the property itself was breathtaking. It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. r wedding to be! The barn is gorgeous with a perfect rustic flair and plenty of room for our guests. Not to mention the beautiful outdoor setup below the sycamore tree! It just happened to snow the day before, and the sunset shots beneath this tree are my absolute favorite photos! The owners are friendly and easy to work with and the price was one of the best around for the value of such a beautiful venue!

We had our wedding at the Heartwood Barn in July and it was so wonderful!! We had a large wedding with around 300 people, so the barn was a great size for the amount of people we h...
ad and enough room for dancing and moving. The indoor decor of string lights were a very pretty touch! The outside ceremony site was beautiful and had more than enough room for seating! The sycamore tree is the perfect summer backdrop, so our pictures turned out amazing. Overall we had a great wedding day! One hiccup we did have was after dinner we were scheduled to be taken to the waterfront location for sunset pictures. We had discussed this early on with the coordinator and had made room in our time line for it. When we asked the staff to take us to the location they were not aware they were supposed to do that and said it was not apart of our wedding package. We were very confused and the staff had to call their boss to confirm the details for us, which took longer than we had planned for. We finally got it straightened out and we were taken to the waterfront, but it did set us back on our already short timeline. Not sure where the communication was mixed up but in the end it worked out. Another thing I noticed about the day was that it would have been helpful to get into the venue earlier. We had the venue for 12 hours, the last hour you have to clean up and clear out. But we had a very large bridal party and could have definitely used another hour or two at the beginning of the day to get ready. They couldn’t allow anyone in the venue before 11am but if there was a way to leave a key or something to get in early I know that would relieve stress on having to rush time and be able to enjoy more of your day. We also had to pay an extra fee for using vendors outside of Sycamore’s preferred vendor list. We all know weddings are already very expensive so it’s hard to pay for extra fees when they seem unnecessary. With all that being said, the extra fees and the allotted time of the venue was stated in our contract and we knew those terms beforehand! So those are not negatives against the venue, just some suggestions that we thought could be improved! Overall our experience with Sycamore was good and they made our wedding day amazing for us and our guests!

We got the pleasure of working with Charissa Floer and I would recommend to anyone looking to book here to work with her. Charissa was so sweet, always around for the thousands of questions we had, and was always willing to go the extra mile for us. She was so easy to talk to and work with and she made my husband and I feel welcome and comfortable from the start. She was with us during our entire wedding day and was there making sure the venue looked perfect on that day and ensuring that we had everything we need and that we were happy. The entire staff of Sycamore Creek Family Ranch is wonderful. They know what they are doing and they put on the best events ever. ped out of our car my finace and I were taken back by the beautiful view over the lake. Then we met the team. The second we started talking with them we knew they were a team that we wanted to work with. They were all so kind and sincere and really cared about us. You could just tell they were good people.
It was extremely easy to book with them and to complete any necessary paperwork. The venue went through a transition of wedding coordinators during my engagement season but you would have never known. The line of communication was smooth and clear. They sent pdfs of vendor recommendations, information about the venue itself and were easy to contact if I had any questions at all. They answered all my emails in a timely manner as well. They even took the time to call me and go over our big day and make sure that we were both clear on what was expected on both sides.
The day of the wedding came and the team went above and beyond. They were always there if we had a question and we never had to run around guessing. The venue was everything I had dreamed of for our big day and we couldn't have asked for a better team. Not only was the ceremony and reception space beautiful but the property had many beautiful spots for pictures.
After the wedding we attended their fall round up the next day. The owner came and talked to us and remembered little details about our lives.
Not only is the venue amazing but the team is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.

this venue 3 stars is due to the miscommunication/lack of communication.
We were scheduled to get married back in March but unfortunately due to the coronavirus we pushed it back to September. The venue did give us options on openings they had that year and did not charge us more for it ( though I was told by the coordinator at the time that we would be getting charged more for moving the date in the midst of a global pandemic)
The coordinator at the time was encouraging me to have a more "intimate" elopement rather than wedding in order to proceed. ( Which is not what we wanted and she knew that)
I was brought to tears with stress and anxiety with how that was handled.
Finally, the date did get changed but lack of communication until last minute did continue.
We paid 500.00 for drapery that we were under the impression would go up and over beams however this was not nor never was set up at the barn when we arrived that morning on the wedding day.
I could go on further with other miscommunications that happened as well.
All in all we did have a wonderful wedding and was pleased with the event. The process leading up to that point was rough and emotionally draining.

ur wedding day and appreciate you sharing here. We understand that COVID in particular presented brides with a rough and emotionally draining journey and it was certainly not our intention to add to that. When COVID hit, we did our very best to try to keep up with mandates and restrictions and took it upon ourselves to communicate that information to our brides as a way to help them during a very confusing time. I cannot begin to tell you how difficult it was for us to disseminate information that seemed to change on a daily basis. We had a large number of weddings that had to reschedule so we were in communication with many, many people. As you know, your save-the-date deposit is non-transferrable and nonrefundable. When government mandates came down, we made the decision to allow you to move your save-the-date deposit to a new date and walked you through that process. In your situation, you wanted to move to a high season date from an off-season date. Even though we had lost all of our spring weddings and the revenue from those weddings, we knew our brides were under a lot of stress. In light of this, we chose to give you the high season date at the off-season rate which saved you $500. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding regarding the "elopement". During that time, we offered to let our brides host an intimate small wedding on their original wedding date for free (because that date sometimes has significant meaning to a couple) with the ability to use the venue on their rescheduled date for a full wedding ceremony/reception. Somehow you did not understand this and I apologize if this wasn't made clear to you. Many of our brides chose this option and were grateful for it. Our venue sends helpful information to our brides regarding the venue as well as planning tips at various times throughout the bride's planning process. We sent information to you about 3 draping packages. You chose and paid for the draping package on the center beams around the dance floor so that is the draping we installed for your wedding. The draping package that extends across the expanse of the venue is significantly more costly due to the labor involved with installation. If you had selected and paid for this draping package we would certainly have put this up for you. Although we are saddened that you were unable to recognize the efforts and concessions this venue made on your behalf, we are happy we got to meet you and work with you! We wish you a very happy and healthy future together!

solutely terrifying. But I must tell you about this venue! I booked this place sight unseen 2 weeks before the wedding and WOW! It is absolutely breathtaking! You could walk into this place and get married without a single shred of decor! We had a small wedding of 40 and the barn felt just as intimate as we'd hoped even though it could have easily fit hundreds. The bride and groom suites are adorable and there are even a few sweet surprises the venue had for us on our big day that were so thoughtful. There were staff onsite to help with set up and to answer questions. During the booking process I spoke with Lindsay. She was always available, quick to respond and SO sweet! Although Lindsay wasn't my wedding planner, it sure felt that way! She helped me out with my other vendors as well. They have in-house vendors that know the venue and need zero direction which was a HUGE plus planning a last minute wedding. Not to mention they were just as amazing! Wether your planning out years in advance or your faced planning a last minute wedding, this is the venue your looking for! It's a stress free venue that is absolutely stunning! You won't be sorry!

SCFR was incredibly kind and helpful. I was so thankful for being able to meet with the day of coordinator in the planning process and getting quick email responses from everyone at SCFR. They were so helpful and great to be around. They made the wedding day and the rehearsal easy and stress free! I was so glad that I chose this venue!
The barn is beautiful, the space was perfect for the number of guests (around 200) and for dancing. It was a great place to be on a slightly rainy day in the winter! The parking worked out well, our guests loved being there. I can’t say enough good things about our experience!

We heard back almost immediately and Lindsay could not have been kinder; her words and genuine desire to help us have a stress-free day and planning process were so comforting. Every interaction with SCFR was filled with kindness and grace and they made sure that we had exactly what we needed, and wanted, to have our dream day. The outdoor ceremony site underneath the Sycamore tree was the perfect setting to begin our marriage and the barn was absolutely delightful for our reception; it felt intimate and was so incredibly lovely in every way. responded quickly and set up a time and date for us. On our visit, she showed us the beautiful property in detail and told us everything we could need to know. Without even knowing her, we got such a honest and down to earth vibe that radiated off of her. We confirmed the venue with a down payment before even leaving the property with 100% certainty that we made the right decision.
Now, let me start off by saying, Jacob and I spent our engagement thousands of miles apart. We were not able to come back to the ranch again after this first visit. Even though this sounds like a nightmare, it WASN'T! And I give so much credit to Lindsay. As the wedding month grew closer, we began exchanging emails and conversations. She was always prompt to answer when I reached out and if I became stressed about anything, anything at all she reassured me and came up with a game plan immediately.
For our wedding day, I purchased the two packets: Day of Dirty Work and Coordination. Basically, if you are wanting to splurge and get these but are second guessing it, DON'T. Having Lindsay run the show for me was the best thing that could have ever happened. Not only did she decorate the property in a breath taking way with our decor, but she and her team worked so extremely hard at making the day run smoothly and without problems from the second I stepped on the property to get ready to when the last car was leaving when it was over. She kept me informed of what was happening next, quickly fixed my broken dress strap right after the ceremony by hand stitching it together, and problem solved like a true boss lady. Not only were her and her team so hardworking, but they were so incredibly kind and sweet. I simply cannot imagine trying to manage our wedding day without her and the rest of the awesome staff.
I see a lot of reviews that raise concerns about the extensive list of rules. Once you see the beautiful ranch, barn, and ceremony sites you will understand why. Do not hesitate booking your wedding here because of the rules. I promise you that there is not a single rule on there that will even come close to hindering your special day. Lindsay was an open book about rules and prices from day one and we were not met with any sneaky surprises or charges.
Lindsay, we love you and can never thank you enough for all the hard work and special touches you brought to our day!!!! We will never forget your kindness and wish all the blessings onto you as you move forward.

Each of the woman I know on staff cheered me on the whole way, helped give me ideas, etc. Another thing I loved about the venue is they have an option of a decor closet. It has TONS of stuff. We hardly used/bought anything because of everything they had! (This part does cost money, but is soooo much cheaper than how much you would actually spend on decor).
We have had so many people come up to us & tell us how beautiful the venue is - even after the wedding! Hearing those things gives you such a peace at mind for how much you put into making your day as perfect as it can be.
I would choose this venue & my day all over again! Such an amazing day all thanks to the staff at SCFR!

nd it. There are dressing rooms and a small kitchenette. There is also a gorgeous pavilion for the reception area or in case there is rain. You can bring in your own vendors for a fee of $250, which I loved. The only suggestion I have is adding a large ice maker to the property. We had a large cooler to ice down drinks ahead of time, but it is a hassle and would help with convenience. Lindsay is great to work with and the staff the day of were helpful and kind. This is a perfect venue for people who are outdoorsy. You don't need to decorate the place that much because the natural beauty of trees is everywhere.

Their prices are reasonable and they were always available to chat.
We already knew SCFR was the prettiest venue and it was really special to hear our guests rave about how beautiful it was too!
Another benefit was how close SCFR is to Branson Landing, which is the cutest spot for guests to explore.
We adore SCFR and couldn't be happier that we had our wedding there. Working with them was a highlight of wedding planning and we plan to visit SCFR when we come home in the future, as we are now part of the family!

Everything was decorated, posts were draped, the arbor was made ready for the I do's. Everyone was a little nervous, but the staff answered any questions we had and even helped us set up. We put our personal touches on the already beautiful venue. Everyone that was there to help us was so impressed with the gorgeous barn and site. We heard so many remarks about the venue and how it was the perfect setting. I knew they had made the right choice for their special day. Even the rooms the wedding party gets ready in are so welcoming.
The rain held off for the wedding, maybe two or three little sprinkles, but I think all of our eyes were mistier than the sky. The skies were a bit grey, but the smiles on everyone's faces lit up the sky. The day was perfect, absolutely perfect. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful.
Thank you Lisa and Mike for acting on your dream and providing such an awesome venue for others to realize their dreams.

were looking for! Even if it was just the views and venue, we would still have given this venue 5 stars! However, not only was the venue absolutely stunning, but the staff were exquisite! Lindsay was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, making what can be a very stressful and chaotic time, easy and actually enjoyable! The ceremony is set outside, so of course weather was always a worry, but down to the last minute the staff were ready and prepared to do anything we needed to make sure this day was perfect for us. Even if it meant moving the chairs back and forth from under the reception pavillion. If we needed one single thing, the staff dropped whatever they were doing to help us. Mike, one of the owners I believe, was there with the staff that evening and actually checked in with my mother around 4 times just to make sure everything was still exactly how we wanted it and that our guests were having a wonderful time! I would recommend Sycamore Creek Family Ranch to any person who truly wants the outdoor wedding of their dreams! Thank you Sycamore Creek for helping us have the absolute BEST day of our lives!!!

hey were very detailed. However, everything went SO smooth on day of the wedding! Staff even helped us complete all of the “To Do’s” following the reception and we received our full down payment back! If you care for the venue as if it were your own, there will be no issues!
