AMAZING! Chelsea and her team at SCC killed it and made my day smooth as possible from beginning to end.

This country club is beautiful and Chelsea is the absolute best and made my wedding dreams come true. The food is amazing and my guests all said that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding. I am beyond happy with how everything turned out and I would definitely recommend this venue. It was beyond amazing!!

This is the best facility for your wedding in every way you can imagine! The clubhouse and and golf course are gorgeous and the perfect setting for your event and pictures!! We worked with Chelsea and she could not have been more accommodating to our every request, large or small! The food was simply amazing....not your standard wedding fare at all.....great variety and beautifully presented and so delicious!! Over many years I have helped or planned numerous weddings and charity events and never had things go so smoothly and had a venue be so helpful! They made it easy for us so we could enjoy the wedding too!! Look no further than here for your next event of any type if you want great food , atmosphere and amazing staff to pull your event together!! Five stars are not enough in this case!!!!!

SCC was a wonderful venue to have our wedding! We originally had a big out-of-town event planned, but cancelled due to COVID. SCC took us in with less than 3 months to our wedding date. Chelsea was our main contact and she made sure every detail was covered with ease. Any request or idea I had, she was willing to work with! On our wedding day, she and her team were there first thing in the morning and stayed until the event was done making sure everything was perfect. Also, the venue photographs beautifully and I couldn't have been more pleased with how the photos turned out. Though our 200 person wedding ended up being an 11 person wedding, SCC made sure it was just as special for us.

We have nothing but good things to say about SCC. Kristi, our wedding planner, was AMAZING! Her and the entire staff was helpful and always working hard to make the night successful. Leading up to the wedding, there was constant communication, and Kristi was very helpful even when I needed to change my floor plan 5 times. The food was great, bar was well tended, and the dance floor was very spacious without interrupting the dining area.

My husband and I LOVED this venue. It is so beautiful and turned out exactly how we envisioned. The event coordinator, Kristi, is so nice and great to work with. Everything turned out perfect!

My husband and I got married at Sylvania Country Club in September and we cannot say enough great things about this club. The views are absolutely breathing taking, from the very well maintained outdoors to the gorgeous clubhouse indoors. The club wasn’t the only thing that was wonderful about our day, the waitstaff was so attentive, kind, and eager to do anything to help. We worked with Kristi, who was wonderful, responsive, and helped improved things we didn’t even think about. Kristi made the wedding run so smooth it was unbelievable, which relieved so much stress. Thank you so much Sylvania Country Club for the best day of our lives, any couples thinking about this club we highly recommended it!

Kristi was incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was prompt with emails and quickly gathered any information we needed. The wedding day was absolutely gorgeous - cocktails on the patio overlooking the golf course and a beautiful set up in the main dining area. The dance floor was big and packed full of guests! The bar area was perfect for those who wanted to step aside and have a conversation without yelling over the band. Everyone REALLY enjoyed the meal and the appetizers. I cannot say enough about SCC, it was absolutely perfect and extremely accommodating. Kristi worked with all of our vendors to ensure set up went smoothly. We are so happy with our selection!

Kristi was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very prompt with her response and being an out of state bride and groom she communicated everything! We did most of our communication via phone and email and the day came together perfectly. The food was amazing and our families are still talking about it! Kristi handled everything and we still don't know if anything went wrong...that's a good problem! You won't be disappointed having your wedding at SCC.

The venue was exactly what we wanted. Food and drinks were great. Kristi was a great coordinator and helped keep everything as envisioned! Also was able to extend reception time that night without problem! Absolutely no regrets with this as our venue !!!

SCC was great!

The country club itself is GORGEOUS. The service from the wait staff and bartenders was fantastic. The food was good, everyone we have talked to loved it (several people even tried to get to-go boxes because the prime rib was so big they could not finish it). The major issues we had were with the vendor coordinator April and with them not providing our full alcohol package. We had purchased the gold package and they did not provide several liquors and beers that it included. They ran out of beer and liquor part way through the cocktail hour and had to go to the store for more. Wine that I specifically asked for and was told would be provided was unavailable. Up until the week of the wedding April (venue coordinator) was amazing, she seemed to understand everything we wanted and was incredibly helpful. The week of the wedding her whole persona changed, she cancelled a meeting with us and tried to cancel a second meeting with us. She had told us there would be a bartender in the mens area then told us the Sunday before that he is on vacation the whole month of January. She argued with my officiant and was rude to my guests (she told several of them including a reader that they could not go into the ceremony area---the bartender had to tell them an alternate door to go into). She also showed the venue while we were getting ready and made me wait to use areas which made me lose time with my photographer. One of my bridesmaids paid for a breakfast that included bagels, pastries, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The bagels and pastries were inedible because of how stale they were and we ran out of coffee. She also paid extra for name brand creamer and April came in and said she was getting creamer for her coffee because the creamer came from her office. There was also supposed to be a coffee service for the groom and groomsmen that was not provided. I would only recommend this venue if there was a different coordinator because you will be guaranteed a lot of things that will not be provided.

April was very helpful to coordinate wedding planning with and was very quick on her responses! This is an elegant reception space and offers a lot of options! Food prices were also reasonable. Would definitely recommend to others!

I knew I wanted a beautiful wedding, but I didn't want to break the bank. I choose to have my wedding and brunch at the Sylvania Country Club. April was my main contact and she was easy to work with, always answering emails in 24 hours. I did my own decor, but dropped everything off a few days before the wedding. The day of my wedding the staff set everything up and I didn't have to lift a finger. Locker room-I rented out the locker rooms for us (bride and groom) to get ready. This worked out very well. There was ample space for hair and make-up for the ladies and a lot of space to get dress. The guys loved the locker room. I had arranged for a barber to come in and freshen the guys up. They said the locker room was nice and had a bar. Ceremony-We held the ceremony on the ballroom floor, everything looked great. After the ceremony guest had a chance to use the photo booth in the lounge Everything about the venue was great. The wait staff was very friendly and April kept us on schedule.

Our ceremony was outdoors on the patio. Absolutely gorgeous in June! The reception was indoors. Only complaint is no air conditoning in the women's locker room when we were getting ready. It was terrible, but didn't ruin the day. Jackie is fabulous and made sure everything was what we wanted

We very much enjoyed having our wedding at Sylvania Country Club. Our ceremony was outside on the back patio, which was really beautiful. Cocktail hour was in the lounge and dinner/dancing in the main dining room. The food and service at the wedding were wonderful and the venue feels fancy and semi-formal. I found the event coordinator to be a bit difficult to work with, however, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. She would quote one price, which I would write down, and then magically the price would change a month later. She of course would say the price didn't change and I wrote it down wrong, but I am positive this wasn't the case. Either way, they could work on being more clear about pricing. I eventually did all my follow up via email in an effort to get her to commit to things in writing.

Jackie Bates is the banquet manager and she was amazing. I told her what I wanted and she did a wonderful job doing everything she could to make my wedding day perfect. The food was amazing. I couldn't ask for anything more.
