The venue was perfect for our wedding size (150), and everyone raved about the delicious food that was prepared. The salmon, beef and mini beef wellingtons were superb. There was even a waitress there, Chris, who went above and beyond to ensure the families were served right away and made us feel right at home. She was very complimentary to our guests, and you could just tell she enjoyed being there. We could not have asked for a better and more prepared staff that SCC had to offer. Due to some weather issues, we were unable to have our intended rehearsal at the club that was to no fault of SCC. Chelsea, the Catering Sales Manager, immediately began contacting second and third options and organized everything she could to alleviate the stress of what a wedding delivers. Her constant communication, willingness to work with us and make us feel like a valued customer are just some of the reasons why SCC is the best kept wedding destination secret in the 419 area. We truly enjoyed every minute of our reception and highly recommend this as the preferred venue.

Over many years I have helped or planned numerous weddings and charity events and never had things go so smoothly and had a venue be so helpful! They made it easy for us so we could enjoy the wedding too!! Look no further than here for your next event of any type if you want great food , atmosphere and amazing staff to pull your event together!! Five stars are not enough in this case!!!!!

date. Chelsea was our main contact and she made sure every detail was covered with ease. Any request or idea I had, she was willing to work with! On our wedding day, she and her team were there first thing in the morning and stayed until the event was done making sure everything was perfect. Also, the venue photographs beautifully and I couldn't have been more pleased with how the photos turned out. Though our 200 person wedding ended up being an 11 person wedding, SCC made sure it was just as special for us.

l. Leading up to the wedding, there was constant communication, and Kristi was very helpful even when I needed to change my floor plan 5 times. The food was great, bar was well tended, and the dance floor was very spacious without interrupting the dining area.

We worked with Kristi, who was wonderful, responsive, and helped improved things we didn’t even think about. Kristi made the wedding run so smooth it was unbelievable, which relieved so much stress. Thank you so much Sylvania Country Club for the best day of our lives, any couples thinking about this club we highly recommended it!

eous - cocktails on the patio overlooking the golf course and a beautiful set up in the main dining area. The dance floor was big and packed full of guests! The bar area was perfect for those who wanted to step aside and have a conversation without yelling over the band. Everyone REALLY enjoyed the meal and the appetizers. I cannot say enough about SCC, it was absolutely perfect and extremely accommodating. Kristi worked with all of our vendors to ensure set up went smoothly. We are so happy with our selection!

We had purchased the gold package and they did not provide several liquors and beers that it included. They ran out of beer and liquor part way through the cocktail hour and had to go to the store for more. Wine that I specifically asked for and was told would be provided was unavailable. Up until the week of the wedding April (venue coordinator) was amazing, she seemed to understand everything we wanted and was incredibly helpful. The week of the wedding her whole persona changed, she cancelled a meeting with us and tried to cancel a second meeting with us. She had told us there would be a bartender in the mens area then told us the Sunday before that he is on vacation the whole month of January. She argued with my officiant and was rude to my guests (she told several of them including a reader that they could not go into the ceremony area---the bartender had to tell them an alternate door to go into). She also showed the venue while we were getting ready and made me wait to use areas which made me lose time with my photographer. One of my bridesmaids paid for a breakfast that included bagels, pastries, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The bagels and pastries were inedible because of how stale they were and we ran out of coffee. She also paid extra for name brand creamer and April came in and said she was getting creamer for her coffee because the creamer came from her office. There was also supposed to be a coffee service for the groom and groomsmen that was not provided. I would only recommend this venue if there was a different coordinator because you will be guaranteed a lot of things that will not be provided.

easy to work with, always answering emails in 24 hours. I did my own decor, but dropped everything off a few days before the wedding. The day of my wedding the staff set everything up and I didn't have to lift a finger. Locker room-I rented out the locker rooms for us (bride and groom) to get ready. This worked out very well. There was ample space for hair and make-up for the ladies and a lot of space to get dress. The guys loved the locker room. I had arranged for a barber to come in and freshen the guys up. They said the locker room was nice and had a bar. Ceremony-We held the ceremony on the ballroom floor, everything looked great. After the ceremony guest had a chance to use the photo booth in the lounge Everything about the venue was great. The wait staff was very friendly and April kept us on schedule.

r/dancing in the main dining room. The food and service at the wedding were wonderful and the venue feels fancy and semi-formal. I found the event coordinator to be a bit difficult to work with, however, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. She would quote one price, which I would write down, and then magically the price would change a month later. She of course would say the price didn't change and I wrote it down wrong, but I am positive this wasn't the case. Either way, they could work on being more clear about pricing. I eventually did all my follow up via email in an effort to get her to commit to things in writing.
