Taber Ranch Vineyard & Event Center

We got married at Taber Ranch 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. The venue is stunning - really beautiful out in the hills in Capay and the ceremony site is on a hilltop with a 360 degree view of the surroundings. Truly beautiful. But the setting is not the only great part of this venue - the staff are amazing. They offer in house coordination and are super organized and patient. We asked tons of questions in the run up to our wedding and always got prompt responses. We also did a few venue tours as we had family coming in from out of town at different times, and Taber Ranch were happy to accommodate - we were never made to feel as though we were being a nuisance or taking up too much time. On the day itself, everything ran super smoothly. The Taber staff work so hard to make sure everything is perfect and also did all the clearing of everything we had left (left over desserts, alcohol, clothing from brides changing area) so as the bride and groom you don't have to worry about anything other than having a great time. Thank you so much Taber!

This wedding venue is beyond anything I could have ever imagined! Not only do they take care of pretty much everything the day of, they are so kind and accommodating. When we needed to reschedule our day they were more than helpful in finding us an open date and rescheduling without extra charges. Terri was our day of planner and was incredible. Her and Natalie were always available via email when I was in full wedding panic and answered timely and with exactly what I needed to hear. All our our guests could not stop gushing about how amazing and beautiful this place was. I can not say enough wonderful things about Taber Ranch, thanks to everyone there who made our day perfect!

Taber Ranch is a stunningly gorgeous venue and has an amazing staff who went above and beyond what we expected of them. They provide great communication leading up to the date and all the preplanning went smoothly, including our wedding rehearsal. Shout out to Danielle who was our wedding day coordinator and made sure to make our day perfect! One example is that our florist forgot the date of our wedding which led her to arrive late & unprepared. Danielle and her staff jumped into action to make sure the flowers, centerpieces, and wedding arch were put together and placed, with only 30 minutes before ceremony start! As you can imagine, this could have been an incredibly stressful event for myself and my husband, but luckily we were in good hands with Danielle and her staff! I highly recommend them to anyone looking as they treated us like family and made sure to accommodate our needs!

I can't even begin to describe how perfect our experience with Taber Ranch was. We got married on 5/5/2018 and even with aloof kids in the bridal party, my crazy goofball friends, and some insane wind day of we stayed on time and everyone has been raving about the beauty of the day. The hilltop ceremony space is second to none and the use of the car was an awesome added touch. The staff was considerate and enthusiastic throughout the day and Terri, our day of coordinator, kept all the stress off me and made sure everything went smoothly. Denis and I talked our entire honeymoon about wishing we could get married all over again so we could experience the perfect day yet again. Thank you Taber Ranch for making our day better than perfect!

My husband and I got married two weeks ago at the beautiful Taber Ranch. Everything was perfect! Natalie, Danielle and the rest of the staff are truly amazing. Leading up to the event, Danielle was always available to answer my questions/concerns. One of the things that I first loved about Taber Ranch, aside from the beauty of it, was that it appeared that the staff took care of a lot of the little things (lawn games, rustic décor, the day of coordination of the event, tables and chairs included and so on). That was exactly what happened and it was way more than I expected. The day of the wedding, everyone knew exactly what to do and made our wedding truly the best day ever. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue and the surrounding sceneries were at Taber Ranch on our wedding day. You cannot go wrong with having your event at this beautiful venue.

Gorgeous venue. The staff was superb and available at any time to help answer questions before our wedding, during and after. They have the timing nailed down and are just fantastic!

We had an amazing time working with Taber Ranch and their group of wonderful staff. They were super easy to work with all the way to the wedding. During the wedding they had a large staff and did an amazing job on making everything go smoothly. Its a beautiful and special venue and we would highly recommend!!

We got married on August 5th, 2017, and honestly, it was incredible. Why? a ridiculously good looking couple, a hundred and thirty loved ones, and mostly, Taber Ranch itself. Lets break down why this is the best venue ever: - SCENERY: It is an unbelievably gorgeous setting with rolling hills, the lake, the beautiful barn, bocce ball court, and twinkle lights everywhere. It feels truly secluded and special. - AWESOME STAFF:: Natalie, Terri and all the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful, friendly and professional. From the early exchanges, to all the questions and prep leading up to the wedding, to the impeccable level of service on the day, it was all superb. - DETAILS:: All the little touches: the chalk boards, the antique furniture, the vintage trailer and man shed where we both got ready, the white parasols, the lawn games, the firepit for s'mores, the red caddy as a wedding car - Its like stepping into a Pinterest Page of the most gorgeous rustic chic fairy tale wedding. - VALUE :: As any newly engaged couple can tell you, venue searches are terrifying and exhausting. Our many many (MANY) hours of search didn't turn up one location with this level of visual beauty, setting, professional service, and the little details that make your guests want to Insta on the spot - for that kind of value. We feel so very very lucky to have been able to get married there. There is nothing better than having your guests effusively tell you that yours is the best wedding they have ever been to - that its the most beautiful venue that they have ever been to. Sure, there was a really ridiculously good looking couple, and a hundred and thirty pretty cool people, but honestly they are really talking about Taber Ranch. Its a very special place for a very special day... We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our May 2016 wedding was held at the beautiful Taber Ranch and we could not have been happier with the venue and staff! Taber's staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding was absolutely perfect and how we wanted it. Terri, was a huge help to me and was very prompt at answering all my questions via email or text. Natalie was great with making sure paperwork was filled out correctly and was prompt in her responses as well (as an added bonus she has amazing calligraphy and did all of our wedding signs!). The venue is an absolute dream, the scenery is so beautiful all around and they keep the venues gardens and grounds are pristine and truly a remarkable experience for everyone who attends or hosts a wedding here! We received numerous compliments from our family, friends and vendors on Taber's staff professionalism and the venue as a whole. We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out, if I had it to do all over again I would still chose Taber Ranch!

My wedding at Taber Ranch was spectacular. Everyone at Taber was a dream to work with; from 6 months out to the day-of they made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. The venue itself is so picture perfect- so many guests commented on how beautiful it was there.

I recently used Taber Rach for my wedding day and it was worth every penny! The staff is hands on and makes sure to create your dream wedding as a day you will not forget. My wedding day was June 12th, and it was 108 degrees outside at 5pm when the ceremony was set to start, the staff at Taber ranch not only called me a week in advance and the day of to let me know the heat warning, but to play through different options for the wedding day,to avoid the heat for the guests and my husband and I. I was set on my wedding staying outside like I envisioned (ceremony on the hill top with the reception on the bistro lit lawn, and dancing inside the barn) and they made it work, pushing the ceremony back by 45 minutes so it would cool down a little and it did! Natalie and Michelle are absolutely amazing! They worked incredibly hard through out the planning process and the day of the wedding in that heat, from taking down flowers to prevent them from wilting in the heat, to setting them up AGAIN right before the ceremony so they would look fresh, to creating a romantic environment and making the venue have "my character" in it and matched the envisioned day I told them about. All of their staff was easy going, precise, and always making me laugh to calm my nerves!!! Words cannot describe how beautiful the venue is, from the barn, to the hill top to the vineyard and pond... There is nothing like Taber ranch! My wedding day perfect beyond words and I highly recommend this venue they truly created my dream wedding and then some!!

Our wedding at Taber Ranch exudes the romantic and rustic California country feel. The location was exceptionally beautiful and the staff was even more impressive. Here’s our list of experience with Taber... Professionalism: - From the start, Nathalie and Michelle were incredibly responsive and informative throughout the planning process. - Taber Ranch is manicuring themselves to be an expert venue for weddings and caters to weddings so professionally. - Nathalie and Michelle have a process that helps you to stay organized and on top with the venue. - Nathalie and Michelle are detailed-oriented and meticulous. Great coordination work with all of your vendors. - The entire Taber Team has a great attitude. The LOCATION: - Its completely private to you and your wedding. - There’s so many areas for the ceremony and reception. - Its a hilly vineyard farm so our photos of the golden hills are beautiful. - You get to use the two 1950s CONVERTIBLE RED CADILLAC for photos and shuttling people. - Plenty of parking. - Flowers everywhere! - Two bathrooms for women and one for men. - At night they have lighting for the reception area and in the barn to create such a romantic ambiance. - Bridal area is a refurbished bus with a sink inside to get dressed and an outside patio area for the bridesmaids to hangout. - There are so many areas for people to mingle and hangout such as, deck with fire pit, barn, lower barn area, sitting areas all around. bocce ball court, and even a garden to walk through. - Safe areas for kids. Many of the parents were very happy with being able to keep an eye on their children as they were playing with other children. - The closest hotel is actually a casino and so many of our guess took advantage of staying there enjoying the resort and golfing. - Incredibly reasonable rates for a venue. We highly recommend this venue. Our photographer and videographer had a blast with capturing our wedding and the beautiful surrounding.

We got married at Taber Ranch in July of 2013 and it’s a beautiful, perfect location, but we had a terrible experience with the staff and management. Good things first: the venue is unique and versatile and the views from the ceremony site at the top of the hill are unbeatable. It made for amazing pictures. We used the barn for the reception, the hilltop for the ceremony, and the use of their red Cadillac convertibles were an added perk of the venue. The staff also shuttled our guests both from the parking lot to the barn and from the barn to the hilltop for the ceremony. Bad things next: This venue is extremely expensive, and the service we got was not worth the price we paid. For our 100 guests, we paid $7000 and we paid another $500 for the hilltop ceremony site. This included tables and chairs, the things listed above, and day-of coordination and that was it. We had to provide potable drinking water for our guests. We provided the seating chart to the staff, and they said they would arrange the tables accordingly, but they forgot a table and it had to be added last minute. Our family members had to put the linens on the tables the morning of the ceremony. Terrible things: Kim was supposed to help us as a day-of coordinator. Kim did not do her job. She did not contact vendors to confirm their arrival times. She allowed our ceremony to start 30 minutes late, leaving people waiting in the hot sun. During the reception, she was asking us questions about timeline that she should have known because we gave it to her in advance. When we needed her for things like finding the missing toss bouquet, she was nowhere to be found. Either her staff or the catering staff began cleaning up before the reception was over, and Kim did nothing to stop them. All these issues with Kim caused us a huge amount of anxiety, stress, and disappointment on our wedding day. Worst of all, when we brought these issues to their attention, the owners of Taber Ranch did not take responsibility or apologize for Kim’s lack of professionalism. When all was said and done, we requested a partial refund and it was given to us, but only after about 2 months of correspondence. Taber Ranch is a beautiful location, off the beaten path, but it is extremely expensive and poorly run, and thus not worth the price.

We found Taber Ranch through my folks who live near the Capay Valley, in which the venue is located. They toured the site for us, and coordinated everything with Natalie, and then with Michelle. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Michelle helped us get the day lined up, coordinated with our other vendors, and was so enjoyable to work with. The day before and day of the wedding, she and the staff took care of so much. From helping with the decor, transporting and assisting our guests, and helping keep everything on track--we were truly able to just enjoy our wedding. And did I mention how lovely the site is?! We used the hilltop ceremony site and everyone commented on how breathtaking it was. The barn and reception area is simple, rustic, but still elegant. It was such a blessing to work with everyone at the site.

I can't say enough good things about Taber Ranch, the views, the staff and location. This place was absolutely amazing and was the backbone of our outdoor country-chic wedding. It's pricy, but you will have an amazing experience with staff that only want you to have a great day. You can't beat the 360 degree views at the top of the hill, where we got marred and the barn is fully decorated for a reception, saving you lots of money. It was worth every penny we spent to rent this place. It was truly an amazing experience.

Taber Ranch is a beautiful place to get married. The barn was awesome, and the view was amazing. I got some really amazing pictures! I was really excited to have my wedding here. The staff seemed to be so nice and helpful all the way up to the wedding day. Some of the staff were quite rude to our guests, and the bartenders they suggested were terrible. We had an agreement to be able to come in the morning after the wedding to finish cleaning up the big items, and they let us know at 10:30pm on our wedding night hat we had to have everything out by midnight. Which created a frantic end of the night, and some of my close family members ended up missing the best part of the night! I still think it's a beautiful spot, but I was disappointed with the way the staff handled themselves.

Taber Ranch a truly stunning and unique place to get married, but what really sets it apart is the amazingly kind staff. By the end of our wedding, my husband and I felt like we would actually miss the staff at Taber. They go above and beyond to take care of you and make you feel at home. My friends and family had the best time at our wedding, and I really feel the fun vibe of Taber played a huge part in that.
