I used table4decor for my wedding. We booked with the previous owner and we’re transferred to the new owner, Marissa. Working with her is nothing but issues and disappointing!
CONTACT/MEETINGS Marissa was incredibly difficult to get into contact with. We didn’t hear anything from her once she took over the business and had to take it into our own hands to ensure she had our contracts. As the wedding approached we started to contact her to go over final details. We attempted to reach her over text (which is her preferred method) and she didn’t respond for weeks! When were able to get a meeting, she bailed on us with no warning due to her having dates mixed up. The entire time was a struggle to contact her and she was unreliable at best.
INVENTORY Marissa had no knowledge of her inventory. We would ask her if she had something, and she had no idea. She also didn’t have much in stock and we had to provide 75% of the decorations. For ex. she had 12 eucalyptus garlands and that was IT! We had to provide the rest. As a decorator, she should have this.
DAY OF: Marissa agreed to set up the ENTIRE wedding decor. We provided her with pictures, as she requested, since she did not offer any help for planning decorations. The day of the wedding, Marissa said it was “too windy” for her to set up and was afraid of damaging decorations. So, she left for the day and never returned. She set up NOTHING! Not even things that wouldn’t be affected by the wind. She went to another event (which apparently wasn’t too windy) instead. My family had to set up everything when we arrived to the venue and saw she never came back to set up. It was chaos. She didn’t answer her phone and once contacted over text, she said she was at another event and could be there in 1 hour, AFTER THE WEDDING HAD ALREADY STARTED! Then, she didn’t show up. Half of her lights didn’t work, the chandeliers didn’t work, and the linens on the ceiling were falling down. My bridal party had to climb on chairs and tables to fix it for her!
Do NOT work with this company! It was the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. Pictures included of what she did at the wedding and how she left my reception site.
Jenny is so incredibly talented at what she does and she created a beautiful venue for my husband and I on our wedding day. She hung fabric, crystals, and florals from the ceiling and beams throughout the lodge and it made everyone awestruck. Jenny is such a fun and loving person and having known her most of my life I will say without a doubt that she is the best in the business! Thank you so much Table 4 Decor for being a part of our special day! We are so thankful!
My company used Table 4 Décor for an open house we had. We were disappointed right away because the tables and chairs we rented were mismatched and were very scuffed up. We lucked out and used some table cloths that someone we knew had to cover up the tables, but we could not do anything about the chairs.
When I went to return them, we were treated very rudely. My business starts at 9:00am and I happened to be the only staff member there that day, so I had to be there. Table 4 Décor starts at 10:00am and I was not aware of this. I showed up before 9:00am and there was someone there loading up to go to an event. I understood when I was told about the time they open and that there would be nobody there to help me until then. It was then that I heard such things like, "this is why we have business hours so people like you don't show up like this", and "I'd help you but that would make me late because of you, and I'm already late". I offered to help her so her job would go faster and was told that I couldn't help because I would damage or screw something up.
I then went back to the two vehicles that we were hauling their stuff in and waited in the 85 degree direct heat. And yes, I did have a few people that I had asked to help me, and they were late because of this also. They hadn't even talked to this person directly, they overheard and were less than impressed.
When someone did get there at 10:15am, she walked past us, not even 10 feet away. She did not even acknowledge our presence. She did not even say that she would be with us in a moment, or that we could come into the office. I waited to see if she would come talk to us or help us unload and finally went into the office myself. When I got in there, I told her that we were returning their tables and chairs. She said ok and asked for payment. I told her that we paid when we took them, and she then told me that they had no record of that. I ended up having to prove to them that we paid by using the check number and amount when I got back to the office.
All in all, I believe we received very poor and rude service. This is exactly why I will not be using them for my upcoming wedding and I have let all of the venues I visited know about it. Sadly, they have heard such things before about Table 4 Décor.
Table 4 Decor seems to do great at staying organized because there was nothing forgotten or messed up on my order for rentals. Besides all the normal things to rent, the also had this acrylic box stand that I rented and loved! We used 2 of the stands to hold a huge thing of flowers at the ceremony instead of an arch or chandelier. Great vendor!
I had my ups and downs with Table 4 decor the entire time during my planning. Sometimes they wouldn't ever return my calls or show up for our meetings, sometimes their phones were disconnected, and sometimes we met and they would blow me away with their ideas. Towards the end I felt very comfortable and confident and the day of the wedding most things went great. They did forget to include a few details I was very specific about so I was pretty disappointed in that but overall I would say they are average.
The multi-sized linens were the perfect colors. They had a wide assortment of centerpieces, columns, fabrics, lighting etc. all at very reasonable prices.
they did a wonderful job with the lighting!! all the blues and purples and the starry ceiling of the tent made the night wonderful!!
Cheapest place around the area to rent your dinnerware! If you're decorating/hosting your own event, this is the place to get the tools you'll need to make it happen.
T4Decor was such an easy team to deal with! They were on time with all the materials requested and then some! They took a look at the area and made the decision to cover an additional area that was a bit of an eye sore. Music to a bride's ears! The pipe and drape really added to the blank canvas that was our reception space!
I got my runners from them and some tablecloths. They were very nice however I counted them before I left their facility and she actually didn't give me enough runners.
