Paige and Karly are the best in the business! We hired Tableau for the final 3 months of coordination as well as some event rentals (goblets, linens, candles) and couldn’t be more pleased with how things turned out. They had an incredible selection of rental items that truly made our day reflect us and not just any other place setting. Paige as our day of coordinator brought about calmness during a hectic day and we are so grateful we found her. She was ready for anything and truly put us at ease with how detail-oriented and kind she was. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, 100% do it and make sure it’s Tableau.

Hiring Tableau for our Month-Of Coordination was an absolute game-changer! If you're debating whether or not you need a planner... trust me, YOU DO. I cannot imagine how stressful our wedding weekend would have been if it had not been for Tina's expertise, organization and calm demeanor to help us get through it all. We were lucky enough to have first met Tina when she was at the Inn at Bay Harbor (where we were getting married) before she started her role with Tableau. When she mentioned she was leaving the Inn we panicked at the thought of working with someone new, but she quickly assured us we had nothing to worry about because surprise! she was now going to be our month-of planner with Tableau so we'd still be working with her!! This ended up being incredible for us because she had SO much knowledge and expertise about our venue and was able to answer tons of questions and make suggestions for us. From managing our vendors leading up to the day, to making sure every little detail was setup properly at the venue, to taking our drink orders and hand delivering cocktails while we signed our marriage license, Tina thought of it all. However, I think the best part about working with Tina is her personality - she's so positive, funny, easy-going, patient, and kind. Wedding planning is STRESSFUL, so having someone like her to answer endless crazy/silly questions, be patient when you still haven't chosen your father/daughter dance song and the wedding is 5 days away, and make your dreams of an outdoor ceremony (even though it's raining and she probably wouldn't recommend it) come true was priceless. Karly & her team did an amazing job on the tent décor at my daughters wedding, at Hotel Walloon, it was so beautiful & looked exactly as we had discussed. She was great to work with & even accommodated additional requests that are typically done by a florist. The communication was excellent. If you are looking for perfection look no further!!! Karly was a joy to work with on the planning of my son's wedding at The Inn at Bay Harbor. With all of the twists and turns of planning pre-Covid and then throughout Covid, she communicated with all our vendors (with whom she has great relationships), helped us as we postponed and moved the date twice! Karly is calm, hard working, organized and knowledgeable. The wedding celebration was a wonderful and joyous occasion, made perfect by working with Karly and her team at Tableau.

Hiring Tableau was the best decision I have ever made! They worked with me on the planning of my two weddings: first my pre-COVID wedding and then my COVID wedding. Karly (owner/lead-planner) was not only my wedding planner but therapist during this whole process. She talked me through all the changes and in the end everything went perfectly. She changed all our vendors, re-booked for our 2021 wedding, and planned a new wedding in 2 months. She always made me feel like everything was under control and I didn't need to worry - which is important for a Type A/control freak person like myself. The wedding day was completely seamless thanks to Karly and her team. Our original plan was to have our wedding in Northern MI but transitioned easily to planning our Metro Detroit wedding as well. I would work with Tableau again for any event!

Tableau pulled off the wedding of our dreams at the Inn at Bay Harbor in Northern Michigan. This was a destination wedding as my (now) husband and I live in LA so we needed a planner who would meet with vendors, keep us informed, and project manage all the moving pieces. Not only was it great to work with Karly to find the vendors that best fit us in the area but also throughout the year of planning/organizing and the day of. I was completely speechless the moment I walked into our venue! Every single detail was thought out and perfectly executed. I used Sheila and the Tableau team for Event Design and Month-of Coordination. Beyond the stunning wedding that they pulled together, having Karly keep me sane in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and the day of, was invaluable. Everything went off without a hitch! It was truly incredible to see all of my random ideas and pins come together and there is no way I would have been able to do it on my own. Sheila truly thinks of every single detail and is so thoughtful of the guest experience. Wedding planning can be so fun, but it can also be stressful, just know, in the end, if you hire Sheila, you will be 100% delighted with the outcome!

Our daughters wedding was at the Inn at Bay Harbor over Labor day weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better day and venue. We started the process with Shelia and Carly at Tableaux Events 11 months in advanced and they were very structured in terms of what needed to be accomplished each month, extremely helpful with offering options on vendors and had worked very closely with the Inn on several weddings. The relationship that they have established with the Inn was a real assets to getting things accomplished. They were able to capture our daughters vision into a design package for the wedding which was a perfect match. I can’t imagine getting through the last couple of days without them. They were extremely efficient and always pleasant. A big thank you to them.

Sheila and Karly (and Madison) were so helpful in helping my daughter-in-law and I plan their wedding this past June! We began working with them about 10 months ahead of time and it really helped us to shape our vision for the day. We held the reception at the Inn at Bay Harbor and these two had ample experience with the venue which was an added bonus. As my son and his fiancee live in Colorado and I live in Michigan, it was really nice to have guidance along the way to pull it all together. The decor ideas and items Tableau provided made the atmosphere so special. The weekly conference calls towards the end were a life saver in making sure we had everything covered. At the last minute we decided we needed more safe transportation for our guests (no uber here!!). Karly lined this up for us and it really saved the day. These ladies are professional and incredibly kind! I highly recommend them for ANY big event that you want to be perfect!!!

My family thought I was crazy for doing the month of coordination, but after working with Tableau they couldn't believe how incredible it was having them there day of! Carly was amazing making sure everything on our day and events leading up to it were all set and organized. The communication was so clear and she took so much off our plates that allowed for all our friends and family to enjoy the moment. I can honestly say myself, my husband and our families were so relaxed because of how helpful Carly was and it really just set such a great tone for the entire wedding. What a great experience! Of all our vendors, Tableau was by far the best to work with! They were so professional and enjoyable to work with from start to finish. Sheila guided me through the process early on, helping me determine whether I should take advantage of their design and/or coordination package. In the end I ended up opting for coordination only, as my vision came together and I didn’t mind having my hands in much of the process. Carly then helped me tighten up all loose ends close to our wedding day. She was an absolute angel our wedding weekend, orchestrating our rehearsal and helping me and my family rest at ease come the day of. I couldn’t recommend her more highly for her behind the scenes execution and poise. It was a delight working with Tableau!

Sheila and her team are a complete dream to work with. It is so nice to be able to work as a team with other vendors in the hospitality and wedding industry. Team work makes the dream work, and the Tableau team goes above and beyond to make that happen for all of their couples, while also keeping other vendors-including the venues in the loop! Tableau Events is absolutely amazing! Samantha was our day-of coordinator and Sheila helped us with design elements for our ceremony and reception. They both went above and beyond in every way imaginable! Sheila helped guide us with what we needed to bring our wedding vision to life, and Samantha helped us execute it flawlessly in the weeks leading up to and on the wedding day. My husband and I were actually able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that Sheila and Samantha had everything that we could possibly think of and more covered for the day. Their expertise was incredible, from helping predict the weather to coordinating all of our vendors so that we could focus on getting married. Sheila, Carly and Samantha were a wonderful addition to my vendor team. I was back and forth on whether I would use them for more design services or just coordination, and I ended up doing coordination (only because I loved the creative process of the wedding and wanted to handle myself). Samantha ended up being my coordinator and put me totally at ease. It's challenging when you are working on your wedding for so long to suddenly hand over everything to someone, but Samantha stepped in where I was falling short or forgetting something, and let me handle the items I was more passionate about. The week of the wedding she was fully executing everything and on the day-of, we couldn't have done it without her. She handled the entire church ceremony execution, her day-of kit helped patch my ripped bustle, and she had everyone where they needed to be at the exact right time. I strongly urge you to hire a day-of coordinator for your wedding so you can really enjoy it, and the Tableau team can be trusted wholeheartedly.

I can't imagine a wedding without Tableau Events! Sheila was so in sync with my daughter in her vision for her wedding. She seemed to intuitively know things she would like. Sheila had or knew where to find everything from the perfect pergola for the ceremony to lovely tableware. The suggestions she and Carly gave as far as decor, time line, vendors, and everything else were invaluable. On the day of the wedding Carly was everywhere making sure everything went as planned and smoothing out any bumps that came up. She had a magical bag that seemed to have anything we needed in it. They were easily the best decision we made for the wedding because then they made everything else fall into place in a low stress, fun way! They care about the bride and groom like family and you will miss them after the wedding!

Sheila and her team are amazing! The day couldn't have gone more perfect. The decor was everything I imagined and more. We received so many compliments from the guests! I loved seeing the design come to life and the flowers were just amazing. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about thing. I felt so relaxed and I was able to enjoy every minute of my wedding.

Lighting and rentals were amazing!! The lighting was beyond what I expected and looked amazing. I don't know what I would have done without the lounge cluster rentals either! Guests were in them all night and they looked absolutely fabulous with the other decor. I can't say enough about how great it all came together in the end. The only improvements that I think could be made was the communication with the vendor was okay but was often challenging to work through the design process as it was challenging at times to arrange phone calls to discuss the lighting. Also, it was hard to truly visualize what the design was as it was only through discussion and trying to "picture it in my head". Finally, I created my own sketch drawing to communicate what I was looking for so that we were all on the same page. Rentals were pricey with a $3,000 minimum and not what I expected in terms of budget, but again we were very pleased at how it turned out. Also, one of the chandeliers would not light in the center of the tent and they came to fix it and left before I even noticed which was amazing service.

So glad we worked with Tableau! Sheila and Carly were great! Not only did they help make our beautiful wedding venue even more breathtaking, the day-of planning services were incredibly valuable. Carly took care of all the little details that brides, grooms and their families shouldn't have to fret about on the big day. We would recommend Tableau to everyone.

Sheila and her team were simply amazing. I cannot express enough gratitude for putting everything together more beautifully than I could have dreamt of! She really took the time to get to know me and put that into the details and it showed! She really brought my vision to life and it was PERFECT!

I used Tableau for my invitations, which were wonderful. The Michigan-themed design, which I was able to customize, was so unique and set the right theme for my Northern Michigan wedding. We got a lot of compliments on the invitations! About a month before my wedding, I learned that Tableau started offering day-of wedding planning services. As the wedding was getting close, I realized that I wanted someone to be on site to coordinate the wedding timeline and vendors so that I could enjoy the day. Luckily enough, Christianna, from Tableau, was available to work with. She was so sweet, calm and organized. She made sure that everything and everyone was in its place, and was there to help if I needed anything. Though I didn't initially think I needed the help, I am so glad I decided to hire Christianna for the day!

If you need a wedding designer/coordinator, I highly recommend Tableau Events! Sheila is absolutely amazing. I used Tableau Events for my wedding papery (Wedding Announcements, Wedding invitations, custom cocktail napkins, thank you cards, wedding programs, menus, etc), the entire wedding design, and day of coordination June 2015 at the Inn at Bay Harbor. Sheila coordinated with all of my vendors for the wedding design. My wedding decorations were absolutely beautiful! I could not have planned my wedding without her; in fact, if I didn’t have her I probably would have had an empty room! She literally planned and organized every detail of my entire wedding. She is very creative, and has an eye for elegance. Christianna helped with the day of coordination, she did an amazing job!! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went flawlessly, and it did. I could really go on for pages and rave about these two. I am so grateful I had them a part of my special day, and I really mean it when I say I could not have planned my beautiful wedding without them. They were my sanity in an incredible stressful process. I have been told by so many friends that were brides, “enjoy your day, it goes by so fast” and they regret they did not get to spend enough time enjoying themselves and everything they planned; I can honestly say that I am a bride who enjoyed EVERY moment of my wedding, I took everything in, and I would change NOTHING about my wedding day. I seriously LOVED working with Sheila at Tableau Events. Sheila is the owner and lead designer, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with!! We only chatted on the phone a handful of times, but she was very easy to contact via email, as we had many email correspondences (especially the two weeks leading up to the wedding). I looked forward to her emails to see what creative ideas she had in mind, and as the day drew nearer, I could not wait to see her ideas come to life! I gave Sheila a list of items we wanted, and she created a proposal for us that included everything on our wish list, as well as several other decor ideas. We did make some cuts and limited our decor, and I began thinking it would be "too plain." I cannot believe I had even thought that for a second, as it all looked so elegant when it came together!! From the napkins and table cloths, to the chuppah and twinkle lights in the tree, to the handwritten seating chalkboard, everything was PERFECT!! It all looked amazing, like something straight out of a fairytale!! I had not met Sheila in person prior to my wedding day, but I saw her for a second as I was on my way to the First Look. I think that is awesome that the owner of the company whom I had been working with for months leading up to the wedding, was there overseeing setup. Even though I barely had time to say, "Hi," that shows true care and commitment to their clients! Thank you very much to Sheila and the rest of the Tableau team!!

My sister was married in May 2014 and used the services of Tableau Events for her papery, lighting and linens. Her venue was beautiful to begin with but the way Sheila and her staff transformed the space was BREATHTAKING. It was warm, romantic & sparkly! Everyone gasped when they saw the beauty surrounding them and our family could not have been more pleased with the way things turned out. I would highly reccomend Tableau Events to any bride seeking decor or papery for their big day! You rock Sheila & staff!

I couldn't thank Sheila enough for the time, effort and thought she put into making my wedding visions come to life! From the very beginning of the planning process she was very attentive to each and every detail. She designed for us the most beautiful papery and also took part in our decor and lighting. I had to pinch myself as I walked into my own wedding. Speechless! She created this stunning, elegant, brilliant masterpiece. I could not believe my visions just had become reality. It was perfect. We have received endless compliments on my attention to detail than I ever imagined. "The most beautiful wedding we've ever been to" is a phrase I have heard over and over again. It would be an understatement to say that Sheila didn't disappoint us on our wedding day. She completely wowed us, and we couldn't have been happier to have worked with her, and gotten to know her. Sheila is the most organized and thoughtful person I have ever worked with. No detail goes unnoticed. Her creativity is outstanding, and she leaves as much room as you want for your personal input and ideas. My wedding day dreams literally wouldn't have been possible without her. She took care of all of our papery, including invites, save the dates, menus, name cards, and signage. She designed our dining space, and all outdoor and indoor entertainment spaces. She would ask me what colors, patterns, fabrics, etc I liked and the next thing I knew she had a full blueprint emailed to me so my husband and I could look at everything together. Our reception took place on an island, so logistics got complicated when it came to transporting our decor elements. From the beginning, I never had to worry. Sheila was in contact with everyone and organized everything on our behalf. Even in the final moments before the wedding, she was 100% focused and devoted to making sure everything was not just ready and in place, but perfect. I would work with Sheila again and again if I could do it all over. It was the best decision we made throughout our planning process.

I will be perfectly honest, I wavered when thinking about the cost to hire an event designer. I went through the same list of questions I'm sure everyone does.. "Do I really need this?" "Can I do this on my own?" "Does special lighting and plate charges really make that much of a difference?" Let me just stop right there.. the answer to all of these questions and more is: YES, YES and triple YES! I was absolutely floored when I walked into each room Tableau created. We were entertaining guests with backgrounds that ranged from blue collar to wealthy (folks who attend weddings at places like the Ritz Carlton on a regular basis) and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that guests from both ends of the spectrum came up to tell us that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. To be honest, it was the nicest wedding we'd ever been to, as well. The experience Tableau created for our wedding was worth every last penny spent. We did not have a wedding planner, and to be honest, with this team, you probably don't need one. I would recommend Sheila and the entire team at Tableau to anyone. This vendor is a wedding MUST!

Sheila & team did a wonderful job on the decor for both our rehearsal dinner & reception! Planning from our of town was a bit hard to nail the little details so we decided to use Tableau and I am so glad we did. Everything looked amazing and we received so many compliments! I found Tableau Events by chance through my florist. From the beginning of the decor planning process I could tell Shelia was a gem! She took her time during every telephone consultation to discuss my concerns and address the wedding details. I planned my wedding as a destination wedding and all Shelia had to use for inspiration was a pinterest board I created. The day of the wedding I was finally able to meet Shelia and her team. They worked tirelessly all morning to transform the rustic venue I choose into the wedding of my dreams. Every detail was exactly how we discussed and how I imagined. I was blessed the day I found Tableau Events.I don't even remember how I came upon Sheila the owner of Tableau for my lighting and decorating needs. I knew I wanted a vision, and that I had to find someone who could possible interpret that vision. That was my main goal. When I saw what Sheila could possibly do... there was no holding me back. I was intent on making this a dream wedding for my only daughter, yet keep it within what I could afford. Sheila of Tableau did that and more. I wish I had pictures( I don't yet because the wedding was only 3 days ago) to show you the elegance and beauty she created. My daughter and her groom were stunned and their breath taken away by the panels of curtains draped and swaged throughout the tent as the many lights and chandelier twinkled above and the oh so stylish table decorations were perfect..she added more than enough to make the atmosphere I wanted but not too much. Our guests were impressed and enchanted. It just goes to show that you have to set the stage for a fabulous night such as this, and this one will not be forgotten. Sheila has such talent and taste and is a delight to work with...almost makes me want to do it again...almost. Thank you from the bottom of this mother's heart Sheila, you are a true artist.

Shelia @ Tableau was wonderful! She was able to take all of our ideas for how we wanted our wedding to look and pull it all together in one cohesive, beautiful look with so many amazing personal touches. She was open to our ideas and had tons of her own. She did our ceremony and reception decor, as well as our welcome bags with custom inserts, and all the papery for our reception. In fact, the papery she designed was one of my favorite parts of the wedding decor. She has great style and i can't thank her enough.
