the beauty of Maui. The first day we met him was on our special day. It felt as thou we already knew him. He was very personal, friendly, out going, caring and immediately started taking pictures of people that were in the present moment. From the time he arrived, during the ceremony and after he was taking pictures and capturing moments I didn't even see happen. My sister became the purse holder and he took a beautiful picture of her holding all the purses. From the smallest details of taking pictures of the rings, dress, etc to taking pictures of all the guest in all the beautiful settings and of course us (the couple). He asked if there were any positions or setting I wanted to take but I trusted him more than I trusted myself. Tad ask me to do a certain position that was a bet odd (position wise). I followed his lead and it has turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. Tad truly has an amazing eye for capturing the best of the couple and the surroundings. Tad will always be our photographer every time we return to Maui for a special occasion or just because. Thank you Tad for making our day extra special and giving us a life time of beautiful memories.

Planning from across the country definitely added to our stress and our original photographer cancelled. Luckily, Tad was able to fit us in, holiday and all (Easter Sunday). We only had time for a few calls and emails beforehand! Tad arrived to the property shortly before the ceremony and from the first minute we met him, he smiled and joked with us making us feel like we knew him forever. Before, during and after the ceremony he was wonderful. We did a three hour shoot with him and he took us around the island stopping at some incredibly beautiful places. We spent the whole three hours laughing and smiling until our faces felt like they were going to break. He was patient, respectful and even lent us a hand walking down paths which led to some amazing areas. We are back home now and he has sent us some “teaser” shots, we can only hope ALL the shots are as amazing as the initial ones he sent. We hope to head back to Maui several more times in our life and each time hope to be in touch with Tad, if even just for an aloha and smile! We had a few poses that we really wanted to capture and when we did our research and found Tad on Instagram, we were blown away by his portfolio. We quickly discovered that he checked all the boxes that we were looking for. What further impressed me was when we contacted him, he was quick to schedule a meeting to get a feel for what we were looking for, which turned into a Facetime call. When planning everything remotely, I felt this helped build the trust that we were seeking in capturing this special day. On the day of the wedding, Tad really did a great job in maximizing the time we had with him while keeping everyone calm, comfortable, and focused. I saved and noticed that almost every photograph was taken by the same photographer, Tad Craig! I was set on Tad from the get-go, just by his eye-catching work. To be fair, I looked into a few other photographers that were also highly rated and recommended. Majority were higher priced than Tad and I thought Tad would be extremely expensive because of the quality of his work. For what you get from Tad, it’s definitely a great deal! Also, All vendors had great things to say about Tad! Having your vendors know each other and enjoy working together is a great recipe for a successful wedding! Wedding day is here— one of the first faces I see is Tad’s. He was racing against the clock taking as many photos as possible of the decor and scenery before the wedding party gets to the venue. He had been there for hours already, taking pictures of everything beautiful in sight during setup. This was nice because he got all of the photos of the table decor, alter, drinks, bouquets, and many other decor items before I even got there! As soon as I arrived, he focus solely on myself and my wedding party. He was extremely nice, funny, High-energy, and easy to talk to. I rarely felt like I was taking photos because he just wants everyone to act natural and have fun. Don’t pose for every picture— be in the moment! My husband and I do not take many photos. I’m lucky if I get him to smile for a photo! Somehow, Tad was successful. Smiling, laughing, kissing, talking, we didn’t feel like a camera was in our face the entire time because Tad kept saying to just be ourselves. It was nice having the reminder to “just be yourselves” when so many eyes are on you during your wedding. You also don’t want to look unnatural or uncomfortable/posed/staged in all your wedding photos. He did a great job of making us feel comfortable while capturing every moment at our wedding. He even stayed later to capture an amazing photo of me and my husband under the Milky Way. Everyone is in complete awe when they see that photo and it was Tad’s creative and fun ideas that sparked it all!! Immediately after the wedding, he posted a few sneak peak pictures on his instagram! I know he’s probably exhausted from the wedding, it’s the weekend, and he still put the bride & groom first by sharing a few beautiful photos from the wedding ASAP. We were able to send the photos the family and friends that couldn’t make it to the wedding back home, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated.I got my photos back edited to perfection in an unbelievable amount of time.Tad knows the bride and groom are anticipating their photos and you can tell that he truly cares about the satisfaction of his clients by how quickly he sent the photos to us!On another note, my family and friends were obsessed with Tad.I was getting compliments on him all night, many saying man— I wish he was at my wedding years ago! My father-in-law talked about Tad for weeks after the wedding.To this day, he swears up and down he has never been around a more high energy, friendly, and talented photographer in his life. st out who/what you are going to use. Tad has surpassed my expectations one hundred fold! From the moment he came into where I was getting ready, he was completely professional and personable. We were running behind (no shocker there) but he kept relaxed even though he needed us to get going. So far I have only seen teasers of the pics that he has taken, but I can remember when he took most of them because I could see the effort and excitement he put into each shot. He truly captures moments and helps to feel natural instead of uptight planned poses (even the uptight planned poses that you need to take turn out fabulous). He has an incredible eye for photography and details and literally has taken the best photos I have ever seen. I can't say enough positive things about Tad! I wish he was in Florida so he could capture every event in my life! I guess I will just have to keep going back to Hawaii for every milestone in my life. If you find yourself in Hawaii, look up Tad. We agreed on a base package with flexibility of extending his time if needed. He and his admin were prompt with all communications throughout the process from day one until we received our pictures. When we met Tad when he arrived he confirmed his enthusiasm I had heard on the telephone to make our wedding special. We had all attending the wedding arrive ½ hour early to take group and couple pictures. Tad rapidly organized everyone and we were able to get all of the group and individual pictures in that time. It started to rain 15 minutes prior to the start of the wedding and the venue and Tad were able to adapt very rapidly from outside to a covered patio area that worked out perfectly. Tad covered the all aspects of the wedding ceremony to ensure we had many perspectives to choose from. Luckily it stopped raining and we were able to go out side and take group and couple/small group pictures. What was especially significant with Tad’s approach is that 1) he was highly professional, 2) he demonstrated his high proficiency in using his professional photography equipment, 3) his enthusiasm and friendly manner was infectious to help keep everyone in a festive mode through the rain while not being invasive, and 4) most important is his creativity to use the venue and environment to capture very special and memorable moments. We can’t thank Tad enough for helping make our wedding a prized lifetime event.

He is extremely skillful in getting the perfect pose with the perfect lighting, and creating it all with an ease of professionalism. I had a very simple wedding with a minister, a guitarist, and Tad. We wanted an intimate setting, and our pictures encapsulate that from beginning to end. We started off with a beautiful picture of us leaning against a tree, and finished with a kiss-on-the-cheek picture with the moon in the background! In between are 323 even more beautiful shots of our vow exchange, ring exchange, kiss, and first dance right on the beach! I feel I can say with all confidence that these pictures are absolutely timeless. I'm not a photographer, but it was easy to see that he uses the best equipment for location shooting. Afterward he professionally photoshopped the pictures, sent them to us within a couple weeks in a deluxe CD holder, and we have ownership of the hi-resolution images. (I loved my simple, intimate, Maui wedding. Thank you, Tad, for capturing it so beautifully! A hui ho.)

and I wanted "The Best Photographer." After all your wedding day is the most important day of your life. I followed Tad on Facebook and other social network sites for at least a year. I was always amazed at how he captured true images and I could see the photos as if I was there. When we finally set a date and contacted our coordinator, Kara with "Your Aloha Wedding, who is also amazing" I asked her if she worked with Tad and told her that's who I wanted to hire to photograph my wedding. I would show my husbands Tad's work and bragged as if I knew him personally! My coordinator contacted him for availability and he was available! It was the most exciting day of my life. The day of our wedding Tad was capturing photos immediately. My ceremony had to be held at a different site due to beach conditions at my original location and it was difficult for my guest and I to get to the beach. Tad was very professional, nice and fun to work with. Once the ceremony was over, he was kind enough to take us back to our original location which was accessible and safe for the brave at heart and got some excellent photos and sunset shots. Tad is very precise, detailed and knows how to capture every moment. He went above & beyond to get the best shots possible without us realizing the magnitude of his effort while we were in the moment. We look at our sneak peak photos multiple times a day and are amazed by the pictures that he captured. All of our friends and family that have viewed our photos cannot believe they are real!!! Craig was amazing to work with, he took the most amazing pictures of us and our families. After we reviewed our pictures online we decided to upgrade or package because the photo's were amazing and we wanted to pick more photo's for our album. Our layout was emailed to us to approve before it went to print, which was so nice to see what it would look like before print. We received our wedding album and was amazed of the quality of the leather and how well the photos turned out.

re he got the shots. Tad carries a separate flash and he is truly talented in getting the sunsets without your face in front becoming black. Most other would wash out the sunset to brighten up the faces in front. I don't know how he does it but I am glad for his technique. He told me to look for this in other photographers pictures when I was debating who to book. He was right many of the other photographer on the list I received from my venue;The Four Seasons did not get the vivid colors of the sunset and the faces in front. This is why I booked him. I am so glad I did because my pictures are amazing!
