The Taft Museum of Art is a wonderful wedding venue! We had 125 guests in their courtyard and it was beautiful! We had separate areas for the ceremony, cocktail reception, and a ...sit down dinner. Betsy Hodges and the event staff were professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable. We didn’t need a separate wedding planner. Betsy set up the timeline for the day of the wedding and was there to make sure all the details were covered. She coordinated with the caterer and all our other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks to Betsy everything was perfect! You should take a tour of the Taft Museum of Art before deciding on your venue.
I should also point out the excellent location. Downtown Cincinnati but don’t worry about parking, the Taft offered free parking in their garage for the wedding. Lytle Park is across the street, beautiful for wedding photos. And, it is walking distance to a beautiful park on the Ohio River. For your out-of-town guests, The Phelps, A Residence Inn, is next door, and a great place to stay, great service, great rooms, and great breakfast. We hosted both the Rehearsal Dinner and a Welcome reception in their hotel.
