Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

were looking for a comfortable family-oriented place where all our out-of-town family & friends could be together and feel at home. That is exactly what we had! During their downtime, our guests hiked, swam, played cornhole and relaxed at the lounge listening to live music! We had all events right on site, a Welcome Reception on Friday evening at Oak Pavilion, an absolutely gorgeous Wedding Ceremony at Frederick's Creek then the Cocktail Hour and Reception on the Bluffs Lawn. We wound up the weekend with a Brunch in the Bluffs Event Center. Jessie was wonderful! She helped us so much through all the planning from the very beginning! We would not have had a weekend like we did without her! The staff (reception, housekeeping, food management, wait and bar tending staff) were all amazing. We wanted for nothing! In fact, they provided things we didn't even know we needed!! All were always ready to help! They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food for each event was delicious! All our guests raved about the food!! We would highly recommend Tapatio Springs Resort for any event!!

e jumped through so many hoops to bring our day to fruition amidst the pandemic and promptly responded to every question/concern we had . Everything turned out beautiful and the food was super delicious. It was the most magical day thanks to her and the rest of the friendly staff. Can't beat Tapatio Springs!

The food was delicious, the staff were so helpful, & Jessie worked together with our wedding planner flawlessly, making sure that the day ran perfectly! Jessie responded to every single one of our questions throughout the planning process & updated us on every single change along the way (our wedding was postponed due to COVID). We can't recommend Tapatio Springs enough, the venue was absolutely perfect for the Texas Hill Country setting, & the resort was perfect for a golfers paradise & a self-care spa day. We have not stopped receiving praise over our venue selection & the delicious food selections. If you are in the market for a TRUE, TEXAS wedding, THIS IS THE PLACE! he experience unforgettable. Jessie and Jonathan's incredible hospitality radiated among all staff members throughout wedding planning and our wedding weekend. We were the first wedding since they re-opened following the clubhouse fire in 2017 and subsequent re-build. The facilities were not totally finished as we anticipated; however, the entire staff worked tirelessly to make our guests feel welcomed and our wedding weekend look and feel beautiful. Looking back, what we remember most from our wedding weekend is the people we were surrounded by and the fun we shared at Tapatio Springs, which was exactly our hope! We cannot wait to go back for a long weekend. Don't forget to have some Codigo tequila before the big day!

from the food to the lodging. They met and exceeded every expectations of our son's rehearsal dinner. The staff made me feel like they were organized to the point that I didn't have to stress about anything and could truly just enjoy the experience! I am so very thankful that we chose Tapatio! prings was very accommodating with all of our requests and our wedding was absolutely beautiful! If I had to think of one bit of feedback, it would be that we reserved a block of rooms for our guests from out of town (which was basically everyone we invited to the wedding since our family is from IL and we live/had our wedding in TX) but they were not all in the same building. Their rooms were scattered out amongst 4 or 5 different buildings. It would've been nice if we all could've been in a building or 2 together. Other than that, everything went smoothly and I was really pleased with the service and friendly atmosphere Tapatio Springs provided. Will definitely recommend to others!

end as another convention and we were told on our "final visit" to the venue less than 3 months from the wedding that we no longer had the ballroom that we had already booked, signed contracts for, and put money down for. The venue had known for two weeks that we didn't have the room anymore and didn't tell us so we could go reserve another venue. Instead, they told us that they would cover a small portion of the cost to put us on the golf course in a tent in the middle of July. After having to get in touch with supervisors and going back and forth for over a week where we thought we would have to cancel our wedding, they agreed to shut down their restaurant for our dinner. If it had ended here and we had a good experience for the rest of the time I probably would have still left a good review. From this point on all of the communication was slow, there was push back for every single decision we had to make, and it felt like we were such an inconvenience for them which was unreasonable when this whole problem was their fault. If all of this wasn't bad enough, again two weeks before the wedding we find out that they're trying to put up a curtain in the restaurant so that other guests from the hotel could walk through our wedding dinner to go to the bathroom - there are three other entrances into the building that would allow the restaurant to be private (which again was in our revised contract). After this whole fiasco and having to get on the phone with the general manager to resolve this, the wedding coordinator went out of town and I didn't find out any of the details on table placements or anything until 3 days before the wedding so I was scrambling to print all of my table settings the day before I left for the wedding. There were still some big mistakes on the actual wedding day but at that point we were just trying to get through it without any other problems. My best advice if you're going to book this venue is to hire a lawyer because they don't honor their contracts or respect the importance of your wedding day. We booked this venue because my fiance's family had been coming here for a golf tournament for the past 25 years and the venue is very important to them, but this experience was brutal for our families and disappointing for a wedding experience.

payment of the wedding was a nightmare. We tried to book the location for weeks! But after not having phone calls returned and not having any proper quotes given, I contacted the supervisor. He was unaware of any of our plans or needs but was able to set me up. Throughout the continous process we continued to have communication errors. I would email and call for days without anyone contacting me back. As a bride, this made me nervous and anxious. When the final payment was due, I called for a week trying to pay it off. No one would take my money! They kept telling me they would send a bill etc. But it never happened. I told the event coordinator that we had a room booked under our name that was NOT ours for over a month. On the day of the wedding, with the hotel fully booked, she asked me why we had an additional room booked under our name. With dismay we explained to her the emails and correspondences about that. She assured us it would be removed. A week after the wedding, we find that she actually charged us for that room! She didn't understand the demands of certain venues or the demands of setting up a wedding. If I had not had such a competent and wonderful day of coordinator(Hill Country Planning) my day would have been a disaster!! I loved Tapatio Springs, but the staff was lacking training and etiquette!

There was only one person we came in contact with that was slightly rude, the resort director....We think he might have been friends with some locals that did not like our party...HOWEVER, THE REST OF THE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING! THEY WENT SO ABOVE AND BEYOND WE HAVE TO GIVE THEM A 5 OUT OF 5. THANK YOU IN PARTICULAR TO KELLY ANED ARMANDO! YOU BOTH ARE THE BEST!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING HERE! OUR GUESTS LOVED IT AND THEY WERE ABLE TO EASILY ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES. They were also great at delivering favors to each room! I am telling you everyone there, from the bartenders to the wait staff to the grounds keepers to (most) of the management were so helpful! TIME TO START PLANNING? CALL KELLY!
