From the very beginning, I knew I wanted something truly special that would reflect the depth of my love and the unique story of our relationship. Tapper's not only delivered on this but went above and beyond in making the entire experience seamless and unforgettable.
The process began with a heartfelt desire to incorporate my family's legacy into the ring. I provided Tapper's with diamond stud earrings that belonged to my grandmother, given to her by my grandfather in 1968. I shared a photo of an antique, art deco diamond ring that my girlfriend had admired in the past, hoping to capture its essence in the design. Ensuring the element of surprise, Micayla thoughtfully accommodated my request to ship the custom-designed engagement ring overnight to a friend's home instead of my home in Los Angeles which I share with my future fiancé. Micayla even went the extra mile by including two styles of their ring boxes along with an antique ring box I had purchased from an antique store in Michigan but accidentally left behind in my mother’s car. This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about their exemplary customer service.

The wonderful staff at Tapper's helped my husband customize and create the most beautiful engagement ring for me. When it came time to picking out wedding bands, going to Tapper's was the obvious choice. They took the time to show us so many bands for both my husband and I and answered all of our questions with kindness and patience. The craftsmanship on each of our rings is beautiful and we will definitely come to Tapper's again for all of our jewelry needs.
When my finace proposed, he designed the perfect ring and Tapper's helped him do that! They also made the perfect matching band. I get complimented on my ring almost daily.
Really friendly place to shop for rings. They were able to customize my wedding band to my engagement ring. Took a long time, but was so worth it! Great experience at this shop. My husbands ring was customized as well!
Where do I even begin. My experience with Tappers has been heartbreaking, we chose this jeweler based on the reputation we believe preceded them. My husband picked out my ring and we purchased it in full immediately, at the same time we also chose a ring for him which we paid for then and there. a month went by and no word from Tappers on his ring, I actually ran into our sales girl at a local starbucks and she causally mentioned that she had meant to call me to tell me that the ring we picked and paid for was discontinued and we needed to pick a new one!!! This was 6 weeks before our wedding and I only found out because I saw her at Starbucks no one from Tappers ever called us to say his ring wasn't available. When I complained to the manager about this he did give us a refund on the ring and pick up the cost of my husbands ring which was expidited to us within the week. I wish the problems ended there but within the 6 months I have been married my engagement ring and my band have been in for service 4 times for a total of 7 weeks. The center diamond on my engagement ring chipped (yes chippped as in large chunk of it fell off) and had to be completely replaced and a total of 3 stones have come out of my band causing them to replace the entire thing. I work in an office and my rings have never been subjected to that level of abuse. Thru out this entire process getting information from them has been extremely difficult. Weeks will go by where I do not have my ring and no one calls me to give me a status update on when I can expect it to be returned.There solution was to return my current ring and pick a new one but the thought of giving back the ring my husband put on my finger at our wedding was more than I could bare. Currently as I write this I still have not had my band returned to me and no solution has been given, I am still trying to get answers as to what to expect and when. I would caution anyone thinking of using this jeweler to think twice because the idea of having to give back your wedding ring is awful. I am going to keep my ring regardless of the problems because it contains more sentimental value than anything else but it saddens me to think this ring may not withstand the test of time because we overpaid for something of inferior quality. The poor customer service has been my primary issue and I believe they are more interested in the sale then in follow up, quality and good customer service. No new bride should go thru what I have experienced, purchasing and picking your ring should be fun and you should be able to proudly show what your husband has given you, instead I cringe when someone asks to see my ring becasue it's been half missing or in disrepair since we bought it.

The had a special event they hosted in which we got to look at tons of different vendors for the grooms ring. we had the best experience and everyone so helpful. The selection was awesome. The service is always top of the line. We got both wedding rings here too. Jackie is amazing. Thank you again to everyone.

I love my engagement ring from Tapper's. And we got excellent service while shopping for it - Dana in Novi was very knowlegable, sincere and easy to work with. I liked that the jewelry was priced as marked, not priced up to mark down with ridiculous 30% off sales or whatever.
The wedding band shopping was a little more frustrating... we went to the Troy store, and the gal we worked with really pushed expensive bands on both of us, and kind of scoffed at the plain band I truly wanted. We waited two weeks for the band to arrive, and when we returned, she was much nicer to deal with and remembered us by sight which was nice.
Overall, I love this jewelry store - they have jewelry that is beautiful and high quality. I would recommend it!
My fiance had purchased our engagement ring at the Novi location. I LOVE my ring, but it took forever for it to arrive at the store. And not only that, my husband would call and they would never be able to give him a straight answer on when it would arrive. He had to propose to me with a simple solitaire (with my actual stone) because the ring didn't come before our vacation in which he planned to propose. Then when my ring finally came in 4 of the pave diamonds fell out within a week. I had to go around showing people a ring missing diamonds. Kind of embarrassing considering how much we spent on the ring! They also never gave me any information on when or how to clean/repair/get check ups on my ring. After asking if they had any policies regarding this, they gave me the information....completely unacceptable. I made a complaint on the website and the manager contacted me and gave me $100 gift card for us to try them out again for our wedding rings. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we decided to try them again. This time at the West Bloomfield location. We picked out our wedding bands and a few months later still hadn't heard from them. My husband called and sure enough the rings had been in...we didn't even get a phone call! We went to pick them up and my husband's ring was 2 sizes too big! They had to rush a last minute order because the wedding was coming up. We didn't even get the rings til the week of the wedding. Which is crazy because we ordered them months in advance. I would NOT recommend this jeweler. We gave them a second chance and once again we were not happy. They may have beautiful jewelery with a ton of options...but they are lacking in customer service. We truly wanted to like them and I am disappointed to say we would not ever use them again on any future purchases.
