Tara did an AMAZING job with my boudoir shoot. She was professional and fun! Her studio was immaculate and she had an adult beverage with some snacks all prepared for me. We got to know each other and I was immediately comfortable with her. She did an excellent job directing and posing me and created an incredible album for me to give my husband. I have other friends who have done this elsewhere, and my photos were ABOVE AND BEYOND any I had seen previously! She blew me away with the final photos. I am so happy I did this! Worth every penny!

One of the best and easiest decisions we made for our wedding was having Tara be our photographer. To say she was professional, jovial and immensely talented throughout every session would be a great understatement. She truly is this and SO MUCH more. During our engagement session Tara made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera. During the wedding, Tara must have been on ninja mode, because I don't recall seeing her move around us or the guests, but my goodness did she capture some amazing moments, big amd small, of that day. There’s not enough words to describe how awesome our experience was with Tara. I stumbled upon Tara’s Instagram page one day and I reached out to her to do our Reception pictures. She was very professional and responsive. She asked in depth questions to make sure our day went smoothly and to assure that we were on the same page. I was the maid of honor this past weekend in a dear friends wedding and Tara and her team were, without a doubt, the perfect choice as the photographer/film crew. Tara and her team were professional, on time, unbelievably fun and creative, and an absolute joy to work with. While I have only gotten to see a brief preview of the photos (because Tara goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients and stayed up late the night of the wedding to edit a few of her favorites) I am blown away by how amazing they are! Not only high quality, her creative eye captures your special moments in a beautiful and unique way. Wow! Wow! Wow! what a life-changing experience! I was in Dallas for a short time last month Sept 2021 and wanted a boudoir set. Tara was amazing. Her personality, the ambience of the loft and her skill as a photographer are things I cannot stop praising. She put me so at ease that most of the time I did not realize I was barely clothed! Wow! I booked my first boudoir shoot ever as a groom's gift, and had an absolute blast. I feel like I'm more excited about this gift than he will be. From the second you walk in the studio, Tara treats you like an old friend. Honestly - there are some friends I wouldn't undress in front of, but I was so comfortable around Tara I was literally running around without anything on at all at some points. Her photography skills know no bounds - from dark and moody to bright and vibrant, I felt like I was choosing pictures for the front cover of Vogue. I wish I had booked her for my engagement photos and wedding ceremony!

Tara was recommended to us by our wedding planner. I was the mother of the bride and my daughter and her fiancé, both medical residents, were engaged but living five hours apart for their entire engagement. Tara was just what they were asking. Hip, artsy, comfortable to work with, but also accommodating with their limited schedules. She captured the couple’s love and fun spirit with the engagement photos. The large wedding was postponed six months due to the coronavirus and Tara not only accommodate the change but captured the beauty of the now small wedding. Most of the guests attended on Zoom. She also did a huge favor for me. My other daughter was unable to attend due to the virus, and Tara photoshopped her into the family photo! It is just beautiful. It was hard having a wedding and even harder not having everyone there. If you are looking for a fabulous photographer, hire her. You will not be disappointed!

Tara was brought on by our amazing photographer as the second shooter for our wedding. I first met her on the day of my bridal portraits as our main photographer was sadly unable to make it. She stepped right in so we would not have to reschedule and we clicked right away. She was fun, upbeat and made it feel like we had known each other for years. Tara made me feel so comfortable and helped me with posing as I was nervous and unsure of what to do with myself or of the best way to show off my dress. On wedding day she was just as great and there again with a positive happy attitude ready to get started. All of our photos came back within a week and looked so beautiful. I am so happy she was part of our wedding day.

My fiance and I were in a bit of a jam when it came to our wedding plans being derailed by COVID. The one thing we knew for sure was that we wanted a quality photographer to capture our memories of the big (or in this case, small) day! After much searching and messaging, we stumbled across Tara's website and fell in love. The quality of her work was apparent and we knew immediately that we wanted her as our photographer. When we reached out, Tara replied quickly and was able to work us in! Communication is key and Tara always got back to us quickly regarding any questions or concerns. She really went above and beyond in getting to know us in a short period of time to get the kinds of pictures we had dreamed about of our wedding day! She even did a trial shoot for us so that we could get comfortable with the camera (and we got to keep those pictures as well)! When the day of the wedding came, Tara arrived promptly and had us comfortable and laughing in no time. It was like being photographed by a friend and there were no awkward moments at all! But, even more than that, our wedding pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. We got them a few short weeks after our wedding and they were just as lovely and unique as I had hoped they would be. I couldn't be happier with the pictures and I feel like Tara really understood what we were going for on our wedding day. I would definitely recommend Tara as a photographer to anyone who asked! Tara took such beautiful photos of my surprise engagement. She went along with the surprise and even helped my now fiancé play the details... at one point even reminding her to grab the ring!! I wouldn’t even be engaged right now had it not been for Tara!! Haha. Tara was also so good at capturing great pictures of us interacting despite our nerves. Neither of us are comfortable in front of a camea but that did not reflect in the photos at all. Tara also made us look sooooo pretty. The quality of her photos are truly astounding.. I loved, loved, loved everything about this photo shoot and Tara. 😍

I cannot say enough great things about Tara Arseven! She was such a blast to work with for both our engagement photos and wedding. Tara made our engagement photo session super fun and not at all awkward (kissing in front of a camera is generally pretty awkward lol)! What can I say about Tara except that I absolutely adore her? We never had the opportunity to meet before my wedding but I had booked her probably early 2017 - I live in Oregon and the few times I was in Texas between then and my wedding didn’t work with either one of our schedules, or we would have met sooner. We had a wonderful conversation and her photos stood out to me more than any others. But her personality was definitely what sealed the deal. She’s charismatic, charming, kind, funny, and a true professional. When we finally met the day of my wedding I was in awe of her, she came into the dressing room like the most welcome tornado, introducing herself to everyone, gathering my details for detail shots and left just as quickly. She made a great impression on all of the family and friends there, all of them were telling me how much they loved her, how kind she was, how she was really great at capturing candid photos and making people feel special. Several family members are now Facebook friends with her! Just because! She was there to help me fix my dress (strapless so of course it was falling off here and there) and makeup (lip makeup hates me) throughout the reception and then took the time to go to a secondary location so that we would get more variety of photos than just at our location. We haven’t gotten all of our photos yet, because our wedding JUST happened, but she gave us 17 sneak peak photos that are all just to die for. My husband and I were talking about how excited we were to see our photos ON OUR WAY TO OUR SECONDARY LOCATION! Before we even took all of the photos we wanted. We keep joking about how MAX 90 days is just too long to wait because we are so excited to see her magic, but we would wait a year for her photos if we had to. She’s just that good. I’ve known of and had Tara booked for 2 years and I have watched her work grow and develop into something that the wedding world needed. She was already really great, I was ready for her quality of photos when I booked her, so the fact that she’s able to learn and become better and always strives to be better is what a photographer should be all about. She is the best, she is the kindest, she is passionate about her work, and passionate about her couples, capturing the best memories in the best ways. Thank you Tara! When the limousine service did not show up at the end of the night to take the bride and groom on their honeymoon, she packed them up and took them to their hotel! Tara's lightning and unique attention to detail made Tristan and Kara's wedding completely wonderful! Stay away from Tara! She sent a NASTY message to my fellow videographer colleague after a wedding. She was harassing my videographer friend and was extremely threatening to her. All because the videographer accidentally stepped in front of a few of Tara's shots. If a professional photographer does not know how to calmly handle these situations instead of sending the most nasty and heartbreaking message to the videographer hours after the wedding, then she is not a professional at all. I am completely disgusted by Tara Arseven's actions and words. She should be ashamed. There are plenty of other amazing, kind, and professional wedding photographers in the area that actually work well with other vendors and deserve your business.

We couldn't have asked for better photos for our wedding. We found Tara on the Knot and fell in love with her photos. It wasnt until we met her that we then fell in love with her! Tara not only is an amazing photographer, but she is an amazing person to work with. She is everything you want in a photographer. We have a loud and opinionated family, and Tara orchestrated is all seemlessly. The ceremony was at sunset and photos weren’t until dark. Tara’s knowledge allowed beautiful shots in every light the day offered.

From the moment Tara walked in she brightened the room, Tara was so kind and informative, throughout the entire wedding process she made sure to capture every moment. You don’t realize when your preparing for a wedding how fast the actual day goes by, the smallest things we seem to miss were captured by her amazing skills. I was the maid of honor and my daughter was one of the many flower girls, I can truly say she had my daughter captured in moments even I didn’t see. I stumbled upon Tara's page as if it were fate! My now husband and I were looking very early on for a unique photographer. Some one who could shoot intimate, dynamic, visually distinct images. A lot to ask for; we know. So we Googled of all things- and found our Tara (and Anna!) She has a good business plan where she meets with the clients, phones them a few times, and basically gets to see if she believes everyone is a good fit. Her integrity of friendship is exuded in the warmth of her photos. She worked with us to get the coverage we needed for all of our events while still staying within our budget and reason. We are camera shy...no problem. We had a long engagement...no problem. We wanted a unique venue (our home) for our engagement photos...no problem. We wanted non-traditional bridal portraits...no problem. Tara is like a chameleon in her ability to adjust to each of our requests. We appreciated her point of view (both literally and figuratively!) and her ability to capture the world around us in an honest, creative, and provocative way. We hope that if you are looking for artistic, beautiful, warm photos that don't look like every other photograph out there, then you consider this amazing woman. She understands how to work around an active ceremony without being intrusive and without you even noticing she's there. She worked with all of us to make sure that she knew what our expectations were - we, being the couple, the bridal party, the family, and even the officiant!- and to ensure that she wasn't going to be interrupting anything.
