What is there to say except that we feel like Tara became part of our family in the process of planning our wedding. It was a fantastic weekend for us as we were able to focus on each other and having fun, while her execution of all of the eve...

Tara certainly did a lot of work for our wedding, and many things went well, but a once in a lifetime event isn't a place where you expect any mistakes, and there were more than a few. We were disappointed. Basically a lot of things went wrong ...
and at every instance Tara had a reason that the problem was someone else's fault and took no responsibility. To name a few:
Tara told us she had secured hotel rooms for the mother of the bride and other family members and it turned out she forgot to send the deposit so we lost the coveted dog-friendly rooms, and our family dog couldn't be there as planned.
Multiple vendors told us that Tara was rude to them or difficult to deal with, and multiple guests complained to us during the reception - not things we expected to have to deal with after paying for her highest level of concierge service.
She lost the top layer of our wedding cake, which we planned to freeze for our first anniversary.
During the reception when we looked for her to let her know that the electricity was not working in the restroom trailer and there was a clogged toilet, we found her on her cell phone preparing for another wedding the following day.

I was stunned this morning to read this review...Annie's wedding was a lovely and unique event! Except for the issue with the restroom trailer, everything went seamlessly.
Our vendor team worked really well together (in fact, I am close fr...
iends with all but the florist Annie hired) and we were able to pull off some really tricky requests. In addition to a surprise arcade, custom linen napkins, custom glass straws, a dog whisperer, doggie shuttle and custom-built fencing (so all their friends/family members' dogs could have a fun playdate!), we were able to successfully secure a famous international band who was in the middle of a tour (one of two bands that evening!). The only time I was on the phone was WITH the restroom trailer company...certainly not another wedding. And the only vendor who got angry with me was the florist, who wanted to move one of the bars in front of the barn's fire exit.
In fact, the groom approached me several times throughout the evening (as did the father of the bride and his fiance) to say how happy they were and to apologize for being so difficult (which I assured him they were not).
At one point during the evening, I overheard one of Annie's friends say, "Annie, you're smiling! Are you actually happy?" To which she responded that she "thought" so...which stuck with me because I thought the interaction was odd.
Overall, I'm really sad to hear that such a happy, successful, gorgeous event now has a shadow cast over it. I thought they were a lovely couple.

Tara was kind and genuinely excited for our special day. Every phone call was extremely productive, efficient yet full of laughs in anticipation of our special day.
We were fortunate enough to have two of Tara's team members, Lindsey and Meghan, with us day-of. I had no idea of how much having them their allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of our day. Lindsey and Meghan were such a needed and calming presence for us all day. They executed our timeline flawlessly from making sure our wedding party walked out at the right time, the ceremony musician transitioned appropriately to the cake cutting happening at the right time, to helping people get on the shuttles at the end of the night and packing up all our cards and gifts and transporting them to a family car.
I would not be able to find a flaw in the process or day-of even if I tried. The day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined and it was because of the care and expertise of Tara Consolati Events. We are forever grateful!
