Tara Heather Cake Design

Tara is an amazing baker! My husband and I hired her for our wedding in April. We wanted a baker who could do a vegan cake and Tara did not disappoint. There were so many vegan options, and all the flavors were so good, it was difficult for us to choose one. We chose vanilla bean with strawberry and blueberry compote. By the way, her compotes are delicious! We were so happy with our cake, and we’re already planning to order a cake from Tara to celebrate our first anniversary next year.

Tara is amazing! First, her cupcakes are straight up delicious. Her red velvet cupcakes are UNREAL. Tara was so kind and professional, and even while navigating a family loss, she showed up and created the wedding cake of my dreams. I don't know how she did it, but she did. It was StUNNING. Everything I wanted and then some. Everyone loved the desserts and we couldn't have been happier with her. She is so talented and we're so grateful to have had her as part of our big day.

Tara's desserts were the star of our wedding! My husband and I are not huge cake people so instead opted to "crack the creme brulee" as our cutting - this was by far the best creme brulee either of us has had. We got mini brulees, cheesecakes, macaroons, tarts, and more for our guests and they LOVED it all. I had so many guests asking for Tara's information after the wedding. The table looked beautiful and Tara was the most amazing to work with. Of all of my vendors, she was the most responsive and the easiest to work with. She went with our theme and was in and out before I could even thank her in person. Honestly, everyone was so incredibly impressed. Thank you!

We found Tara through our Photographer and Florist and it was the best find! She is so sweet, understanding, and really helpful. She worked with us to make us our vision a reality. We did a tasting first of the cupcakes and just new everything she makes would be delicious. We went with a variety of cupcakes and cookies and all our guests loved it. We still get compliments about them! If you pick Sweet as Bliss you will not be disappointment! Thank you so much Tara!

We had Tara make our wedding cake for our wedding and it came out so beautiful!! The cake was so pretty and looked exactly what I wanted and tasted so delicious!! Tara was so accommodating to work with and she went above and beyond for us! I highly recommend her!!

The process for ordering our cakes and cupcakes through Sweet As Bliss was relatively easy. Tara was very communicative when placing the order and getting details. I was able to taste cupcakes for free from an excess batch of cupcakes and was pleased. However, the rental agreement online and in the contract I received to rent their cake stands were inaccurate. There was conflicting information that the rental cost was $60 on my contract and $75 on their website. I was charged an additional $15 because I was given an outdated contract; and received word from my on-site coordinator that the Sweet as Bliss Rentals never made it to the cake table. We had our ceremony and reception at the same venue, with our reception beginning at 6pm. Original contracted drop off time was for 3pm, however, Sweet as Bliss advised that 3pm was too early and requested to come at 5pm. No biggie, until our reception began 30 minutes early (because the ceremony was shorter than expected) and Sweet as Bliss made their delivery 30 minutes past the time they proposed, 2.5 hours past the time we originally contracted. Other than those mishaps, most people seemed content with the cupcakes.

We contracted with Tara for a 3-tier cake (vanilla and raspberry champagne flavors) for our wedding in December 2017. Normally we are not cake people, but her cake was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. It was so good that we were happy to eat the leftovers for a couple of days afterwards. And it looked lovely as well - she did a beautiful job decorating it with flowers. Thanks Tara!

Thank you Tara for baking such a delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding! My vision of the cake was exactly what you executed for the day of. The cake was so so so delicious (not overly sweet like alot of places) and had the perfect amount of coconut in it. Tara was also great at communicating back and forth and very prompt about answering all emails/questions. The pricing was superb for how beautiful and tasty the cake was as well. Thanks again! Our cake came out beautifully. The flowers were assembled perfectly. It was a little difficult to cut and kind of dry inside. Still tasted good, though.

The Cupcake Corner creates some the most delicious cupcakes & cakes I have ever tasted! We hired the Cupcake Corner to create a small tiered wedding cake & cupcakes for our wedding. Our guests are still talking about how unique & delicious the dessert selection was. Tara, the owner, creates unique flavor combinations...the Mexican Vanilla Bean & Burgundy Velvet are a MUST! An added PLUS of having the Cupcake Corner is the incredible value...the entire cupcake & cake selection for wedding cost less than $300! One of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding!
