I stumbled across Tara through a random Google search for a wedding photographer and am so glad that I did! I was looking for a photographer with a candid, documentary-style approach with light, airy, and colorful editing and Tara's photos instantly made an impression on me. Chatting with her made me feel at ease with entrusting her to capture our big day and she truly did an amazing job! She gave us the flexibility to capture engagement photos that were meaningful to us as a couple and made us feel at ease in front of her camera which was a great plus, especially since me and my husband are quite awkward people. On our wedding day, she let things flow naturally, stepping in only to direct specific photos we had requested. The very next day, we were so surprised to see a gallery of previews and loved every single photo, from the details of the day they captured to the candid moments! Our photos are bright, joyful, and truly capture our day beautifully. We’re beyond grateful for Tara's work and highly recommend her!
Tara is so sweet, fun, easy going, and TALENTED!! She captured our day perfectly and sent me like a hundred previews literally the next day. I cried seeing how much love was in the room 💕 Her photos are stunning and she really made us feel relaxed and in charge. We had a perfect day and now we have all those memories captured so beautifully.
Tara was everything I could have asked for in a photographer! We did a boudoir instead of an engagement session (which could be uncomfortable) and she made me so comfortable and the pictures were exactly how I wanted them! Additionally, my husband and I are completely obsessed with the wedding photos. We wanted a light and airy vibe and it's perfect. I can't wait to frame a ton of these all over the house! She also had so much communication throughout the process. She helped me so much with my timeline and ANY questions that I had - which I had a ton! She's patient, professional, and so talented. I will always recommend her!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tara. Not only did she make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, but made the whole process enjoyable. I also used Tara for my Bridals, and she made me look like the most gorgeous version of myself. During the ceremony Tara and her assistant were super professional. Tara and her team got so many wonderful photos of our entire wedding, and yet they did not interfere in a way that felt unnatural. Tara is very communicative to my needs and would always update us on the status of our pictures. I cannot recommend Tara enough!
Tara is the photographer of our dreams! Both my husband and I are incredibly introverted and shy in front of a camera, but her kind demeanor and vision made the experience of our engagement photos and wedding absolutely incredible. She's not afraid to be silly either, indulging us in our "101 Dalmatians" inspired pictures and climbing an actual tree, which turned out to be some of our favorite pictures. On the day of our wedding, she and her second photographer Bri were incredibly efficient and personable. Our whole family was incredibly impressed with their professionalism! We received our preview the day after the wedding, and her light editing style is exactly what we wanted. With our venue, the lighting is hard to get right, but she nailed it. We can't recommend her more both professionally and personally. Hire Tara - she's amazing!!!
I cannot say enough good things about Tara! From the first time I spoke with her before hiring her, I was impressed! She made taking our engagement photos so comfortable, even though neither of us really knew what to do! Our photos don't look awkwardly posed at all. After seeing our engagement photos I was even more excited for her to take our wedding photos! I love her light, airy style, as it really captures our personalities well. Plus, Tara sent 90 preview photos the day after our wedding, which is insane and so appreciated! She's also very easy to work with, answered all my questions, and responded to my emails so fast! Any time I need a photographer, she'll be my go to!
I could write a novel about how amazing it was to work with Tara. She is not just an incredible photographer, she is an incredible human in general. From our engagement photos to the wedding itself, working with Tara was an absolute dream. She is so kind, so funny, and SO talented. Thank you Tara for being the PERFECT photographer to capture our day! We are so thankful for you!
We totally lucked out with scoring Tara as our photographer! Bob and I are not the greatest at posing for pictures but Tara made us feel so comfortable and relaxed while still having fun! We were fortunate to have Tara do a very late in the game engagement shoot for us and she was able to get the pictures back to us super fast so we could use them for the wedding. Also, she gave us several beautiful sneak peeks of the wedding the SAME NIGHT which we were extremely grateful for and excited to show off. Judging from those sneak peeks, I feel confident that she captured every lovely little moment from our wedding and that is something Bob and I will treasure for the rest of our lives ❤️
Tara answered every question and concern I had before the wedding to make me feel comfortable on my big day. When the Texas Ice Storm hit she was trapped due to weather, but, instead of leaving us alone on the big day, she found a replacement to take photos and completed her incredible editing. Tara is kind, talented, and dedicated to her clients. You are missing out if you don't have Tara, she is absolutely incredible
Tara is AMAZING. Book her now, your research stops here :) It's so easy to be relaxed and yourself around her, which makes for truly authentic and candid photos. Her quality of work speaks for itself, but I'll go on - for both our engagement and wedding photos, we could hardly choose which ones were "framers" because there's just THAT MANY great shots. Our wedding album truly tells the entire story of our day, which was so important for us to share with loved ones who couldn't be there. My husband and I are huge fans of her as a person, and you will be too. We're definitely booking her for future big moments!!
Tara was so great to work with! My now husband and I are both very awkward picture people and Tara managed to make the process fun and easy. She did a great job of finding cool photo spots around the venue and pulling us for some great photo moments through the night. She got our edited pics over sooner than expected and even sent us an adorable ornament with one of our wedding pictures inside. Overall we are so happy we chose to work with Tara and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the Austin area.
Tara is the best! She made wedding planning a million times easier on us! We were able to tell her what we were looking for and she delivered! Her kind personality puts you at ease during a crazy day, and makes taking photos a lot easier!

Tara was so wonderful to work with! I hardly even noticed she was shooting! She sent me some sneak peeks from the wedding the night of and then some more the following day. They are so so beautiful and I would suggest her to anyone else getting married in the future.
Tara is so easy to work with! We had such a good time just chatting with her. She’s so sweet and she absolutely loves what she does! She had our sneak peak ready for us just 2 days after our wedding. She braved the rain for us, stepped through the mud to take a picture that I specifically asked for and I cannot thank her enough!
Tara was absolutely a dream to work with on our big day. She was attentive, timely, so so sweet, and captured our big day so beautifully. Most of the time my husband and I didn't even know she was taking pictures! She truly captured all the special moments, all of our guests, details galore, and so much more. My husband and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photograph our wedding at Canyonwood Ridge! We love you, Tara!
