Tavares Pavilion on the Lake

This venue was an absolutely gorgeous background to our wedding. We loved being able to stay in the same location for getting ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception.

The Tavares Pavilion on the lake is a breathtaking venue. Add in the Christmas decorations, the lake views, the gas lanterns on the brick pier, the multiple sweeping staircases, the beautiful bridal suite, and all the extra special touches, make this an outstanding venue. The staff were incredible to work with and took such good care of us. They were always available, had great follow up, and made our day so extra special. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue is. I heard many of them say it was the best wedding they had ever been too!! We just want to say thank you to the entire team at the Tavares Pavilion and for making our day perfect! We would not hesitate to recommend this venue.

Honestly, you will not find a better venue in Florida. The venue itself is gorgeous. However, we got married here on 12/14/2024 and the decorations that they provide will BLOW YOU AWAY. I am a hard-core Christmas lover and if you are looking for that vibe for a wedding this is the place to do it. It was the perfect Christmas wedding I have always dreamed of! But even if you are just looking for a winter wedding look this place will provide that as well. My husband and I barely bought any decorations, and it looked as though we had spent thousands of dollars. Beyond that, Amy and her team are phenomenal. We ended up having to move out of state after we had secured the venue, so our process was not the easiest. Thankfully, they were so helpful during the whole process and the week before the wedding everything moved smoothly. I would recommend this venue to everyone. Thank you again! -Jess & Joe Arab

5 stars does not do this venue justice, if I could give it 10 stars I would. The venue is absolutely gorgeous there's nothing else like it. My guests were blown away by this venue. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful, they genuinely care about giving you a great wedding experience. Such a classy, beautiful place perfect for big and small weddings and very reasonably priced. I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

First off, this a beautiful venue that overlooks Lake Dora and the interior is stunning as well. Second, the staff were easy to work with, and Amy and Dan were phenomenal in being quick to respond, super helpful, friendly, and professional. Third, choosing this venue helped my wedding planning/wedding day experience to be stress free and very enjoyable.

A gorgeous venue with an incredible staff. Amy, Lee, Dan, and the rest of the staff were so courteous and kind, and their professionalism went above and beyond. The venue is beautiful rain or shine, is technologically savvy, and barely needs decoration. They helped ensure our wedding went off without a hitch!

This Venue is absolutely stunning! I had my daughter's Quinceañera and it was amazing. The venue sits in the middle of Lake Dora and my event unfolded to the beautiful sunset of this area. Management and all the staff were caring, organized to the last detail, and always willing to help. I used Pisces Rising as my caterer and couldn't be more pleased. I recommend for anyone to physically check out this venue because you will fall in love with the place and area.

The communication, professionalism, and detail leading up to the even made our company Christmas party such a success! HIGHLY recommend this venue. Not to mention it is GORGEOUS! In the daytime, you get the beautiful views of the lake and at night, the pier and building is lit up in the most beautiful way. Unforgettable!

My husband & I were married at the Pavilion on 10/27/23 & everything was perfect! The venue is absolutely gorgeous & has many beautiful options for photos or just taking in the wonderful view. From the moment I inquired about the Pavilion, the staff has been nothing short of amazing - super professional, helpful & truly cared about making our day special & as stress free as possible.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful with everything. They were on top of all of our requests. Highly recommend them for your wedding. They even help with finding a DJ and catering.

My husband & I got married here on October 22, 2023 & it was PERFECT. We viewed this location becuase of it's central point to both of our families, but picked it because of the staff and the atmosphere. This venue is absolutely stunning and I would recommend it to anyone!

This venue is so adorable. Among all the venues we searched for our wedding reception, this was the most amazing one. The process from start to end was so seamless and easy. Amy, helped us a lot during the full process, and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure she meets all of our last minute requests and questions. She replies to all emails right away even when she's out of office. The staff at the venue were very cheerful and helpful during the wedding day. Definitely recommend the place!!

I am so glad to have had my wedding at Tavares Pavillion on the lake. The venue it self is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone complimented on how such a beautiful place it is. The staff is absolutely fantastic! They are quick with responding and are so kind and professional. The day of my wedding went on without a hitch and it is in part to the staff for helping make it just perfect. I wouldn’t have chosen any other place to marry my best friend and have the best day of my life 🤍

I fell in love with this venue the first time I saw it. Everyone who attended our wedding thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Many remarked that it looked like we were on a gorgeous cruise ship. The staff was wonderful to work with throughout everything. The only reason it has four instead of five stars, is that it would have been nice to be able to get into the venue a little earlier without paying even more and the bridal suite and upstairs were warm all night, but I like things on the colder side and I was also in a ball gown.

We had a great experience at this beautiful venue. All staff members were knowledgeable and dedicated to making our dream wedding happen. Would definitely recommend this venue to others in the future!

Great venue, it was decorated very nicely for Christmas. We had the wedding of our dreams that we planned and executed in less than 90 days. We caught a great sunset just after we got married and then had a great dinner afterwards. Great place to do a seaplane ride and fly off into the sunset right after you’re married, then come back for dinner with family and friends!

I got married in October at the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, and I have only the best things to say about my entire experience! I fell in love with the Pavilion just from seeing photos, and even more so upon touring the facility in person. The venue is so beautiful that you'll save money by not needing much additional decor. The entire staff was incredibly helpful every step of the way; I primarily worked with Amy leading up to my event who was proactive, knowledgeable, prompt, and very friendly. Michael was also very helpful both beforehand and during my wedding. The city of Tavares actually hosted a rock concert right outside the Pavilion on the day of my wedding (which was completely out of the control of the Pavilion) but the staff very effectively did everything in their power to minimize noise and wedding crashers, and to reserve parking for my guests. My guests were very impressed with the beauty of the venue and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend booking your event with Tavares Pavilion, you won't regret it!

We had a great time at the Tavares Pavilion. We were able to have the exact event we wanted. The staff at the Pavilion were so helpful and made it easy to get all the details together.

This venue was everything my husband and I could have hoped for! From the first tour and planning leading up to the event, the Tavares Staff (especially Amy and Michael) were so attentive and helpful! On our big day, it was pouring, but they made sure to come out with umbrellas to ensure my hair and make up was safe. Their service went above and beyond and I could not be more in awe with our experience!

The Pavillion and all it’s staff are amazing. They were all so helpful and professional. The groups they suggested to use for the food, flowers, music, officiant and ceremony music we’re all awesome and made our daughters wedding better then we could ever have imagined. We highly recommend John Michael Catering and Weddings the food was amazing the staff was very professional and a lot of fun. Christine MacPhail the harpist truly made the ceremony outstanding. The officiant Katherine Imundi was just amazing. DJ Larry made the night go on with great music and kept our guests involved and entertained

This venue is not only gorgeous, but their team goes above and beyond for you during your special event. Even the pier is private during your event, in that way your guests can feel more than comfortable. This administration runs an amazing place. Every single staff member is there to help you take your event to the next level! Puff N'Stuff catering, one of their preferred caterer, worked alongside with the venue staff and everything was absolutely perfect. I am forever grateful to their talented, compassionate and wonderful team!! Thank you for making my client (and me, of course) feel so special. You guys are the real deal! God bless you all!!

The Tavares Pavilion is gorgeous! We absolutely loved our experience working with the staff as well as their catering options! The staff was super accommodating and made sure all our needs were taken care of. I would highly recommend this venue for any event you're doing!

The team at the Pavilion we amazing to work with from start to finish. We knew we wanted this venue the minute we walked in the door. The dark hardwood, grand staircases, wall of windows overlooking the lake, and space for both a ceremony and reception sold us immediately. Amy was wonderful to work with and kept us on track and made for a smooth and flawless wedding!! We can't say enough great things about this venue and team!

I can't say enough about this venue. It is beautiful, Carrie and Amy are Amazing! I had a corporate party to plan in 30 days and Carrie and Amy where so helpful. They took my vision of what I wanted and took the patience to make it better than I even envisioned. Carrie and Michael where there the evening of the event to make sure everything went smoothly. I cant thank them enough. The only negative I found was the venue didn't offer electronic payment other than that this venue is a Gem!! Thanks

The Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is a gorgeous venue! We chose the Pavilion to host a huge surprise party, and the staff was incredible to work with! They were so attentive to us not only at our event, but also leading up to it! I highly recommend them!!

We had a perfect wedding here and owe so much to The Pavilion Staff! The venue looked incredible and they were extremely helpful along the whole way. We were nervous about not being able to do the Monday Mingles due to our work schedules, but Lee, Amy and Carrie made sure our day would be spectacular. Great communication, flexible, reasonable, professional, and genuinely nice people. We will recommend this venue to anyone!

The Pavilion and its amazing staff went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. If you think the pictures are pretty, they don't even do justice for the beauty in the building. Amy was fantastic, quick to answer any and all questions, and made the experience easy and stress free! My husband and I can't say enough good things about this venue.

Amy and the rest of the staff were OUTSTANDING! I was completely out of my element planning the wedding for my son and his beautiful bride but this venue was so perfect and the staff walked me through it. December is the perfect time as the venue is decorated "to the nines"! Everything fit into our budget and it was a huge success.

Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is not only a stunning venue on its own but the staff is phenomenal. From day one, Amy was there to answer all of our questions and consistently put our mind at ease. Despite the stress of planning during a pandemic, rhe staff at the pavilion did not hesitate to accommodate us, even when we had to unexpectedly change. The night of our event, the staff was on prompt and attentive and made our experience memorable and stress free. One thing to keep in mind, you do have to rent the rehearsal space separately if you want to rehearse at the venue itself prior to your wedding day; this is not included when you book the venue. We highly recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake!

We hosted an event that we had to reschedule because of COVID and everyone at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake was so helpful and understanding. They made sure every detail leading up to the final date was perfect. They followed up even after the event and everything was absolutely great! All of our guests were so pleased and so was our staff. I would truly recommend this venue to anyone who needs one.

We had 60 guests and with social distancing we felt very comfortable in the space, people weren’t having to climb over each other to do anything and the room had a lovely flow. I will say if you are looking for a huge dance floor this space may be a little tight or you may want to opt to have dancing downstairs. Pictures do not do justice to this space! There is a warmth that is lost (but that may be the staff!) and it has a wonderful atmosphere without any excess decorations , but let any additional decorations shine. The bridal suite and grooms area were perfect, enough space to get dressed and relax. The pier is beautiful and the Stereo system in the space provides great ambiance. The team at the pavilion was warm, thoughtful and helpful as we navigated through a pandemic delay to our original date. The concern that they shared was genuine and made us feel like our day was special to them as well. This was the first and only venue that we looked at because it is perfect in every way! The surrounding area has a nice restaurant selection so if you are up there for your weekend you won’t be stuck without food! It has a decent nightlife in the surrounding area, but the pavilion is a stand-alone in terms of the peace and elegance.
