I loved working with TCM DJ events, particularly with Nicole! She was able to capture the perfect vibes for our wedding celebrations and I had multiple people comment stating the music was "A+!" Communication was smooth and we had check ins and a final call right before our wedding. I liked the app that she shared with us as well to get an idea of what we were going for. Love to support a woman owned/run business! Highly recommend.

DJ Jenn Love and MC Virgil were absolutely amazing during our ceremony and reception at the Yale Club of New York. They made themselves very available in the time leading up to the wedding to discuss specifics about song selections, vibes, etc. They were incredibly organized and professional throughout the entire process and had fantastic energy on the big day. The AV programming was seamless throughout the ceremony and reception. The whole team (including Nicole) was incredibly responsive and easy to get in touch with for handling logistics. Most importantly, they had the dance floor bumping the entire night! Everyone felt included, from our younger friends all the way to the grandparents in the crowd. Virgil was fantastic at keeping the program running on schedule and doing it in a fun way. He was working behind the scenes to make sure everyone knew where they needed to be for parent dances, toasts, etc. Jenn’s setlists and mixes were phenomenal and had our guests dancing all night. It was very easy to use the Vibo app to add in the songs we wanted, and she flawlessly covered the span of oldies, hip-hop and R&B, pop / top 40, dancehall, reggaeton and more. Jenn and Virgil were an amazing duo at reading the room and feeding off the crowd’s energy, letting the guests be the stars of the show. We could not give a higher recommendation to this phenomenal team. Run, don’t walk, to have them play at your special event!

DJ Ozzy and the team were incredible to work with! They were friendly and professional. The dance floor was packed the whole night. We had such a fun wedding thanks to DJ Ozzy and her team! We cannot recommend them enough!

my partner and i hired TCM DJ Events to DJ our wedding and we would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to hire a DJ for their event! they were very responsive, professional, and flexible when it came to a lot of last minute changes (i.e. setting the DJ equipment upstairs, and then downstairs, when it originally was supposed to be outside but then changed to inside last minute bc of rain) and Ozzy, from TCM DJ Events, was so incredibly patient, helpful, and the perfect DJ to make ourselves and all the wedding guests forget about the weather. Ozzy was very communicative weeks leading up the wedding and was essentially our MC throughout the night announcing the various things we had planned. she played all the songs we were hoping to hear and added in her own suggestions that were perfect for our guests and the overall wedding theme/vibe. we will definitely recommend Ozzy/TCM DJ Events to DJ your next wedding or any event!

I’ve been to many weddings and Nicole is by far one of the best DJ’s I’ve ever seen. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Leading up to the wedding she was really communicative and listened to all our questions and details we wanted to add. She was also really receptive to last minute changes, which makes the final days leading up to a wedding so much easier. On the day of she was really nice and professional and made me, the bride, and my coordinator feel at ease! She was AMAZING at reading the room too. She started the night with some oldies getting the older crowd up and dancing and very smoothly transitioned the night into music for the younger crowd. She played almost everything on our playlist and had some of the smoothest music transitions I’ve ever seen. It was a guest list filled with musicians and entertainers and I received many compliments about her throughout the night. Nicole is one of a kind in her industry and I am so happy with my choice. I cannot thank her enough for leading such a fun night!! I will recommend Nicole and her team to ANYONE that asks!

My wife and I give Nicole our highest recommendation. We just had the perfect NYC wedding, in no small part due to Nicole's incredible DJ-ing. She was super easy to work with. Her use of the Vibo app kept everything super organized: from song choices, to run of show, to very specific preferences. At the event, Nicole's DJ-ing was exactly what we wanted. She was as chill as we wanted her to be, allowing us and our friends to be the stars of the show, and she was incredibly natural at reading the room. Nicole was our DJ for the reception, and she was a dream! She was so organized and personable to begin with, and the app she uses for wedding music was so easy to work with. At the wedding itself, she was so professional. She kept us on track with each event - having everyone sit for our first dance, cake cutting, speeches. She was also so good at reading the room during the dancing portion! She got everyone moving, even my older Asian family members! We all had a wonderful time at the wedding and it was in large part due to Nicole's perfect DJing.

We wanted a DJ who would be able not only to play Hispanic music but to understand our culture setting the ambiance for a great party! DJ Jenn love was awesome! Everyone danced their heads off. She kept it classy and yet so fun! My guests kept commenting on how great the music was. We also wanted to have some songs in English, DJ Jenn love made the transitions seamlessly. It was great to have an app where we could upload the songs we wanted, so those were definitely played. We needed a bilingual MC who would be able to communicate with both our Spanish and English speaking guests, and they got us MC Davis who did a great job!

Two weeks later and we still receive comments about how amazing the music at our wedding was! Nicole put together an amazing set for our wedding. Everyone was out of their seats dancing for the night and it was a blast. Working with Nicole was a great experience and the app she provides to prepare song selections really helped us focus on the different components of the day. We cannot recommend working with Nicole and TCM Events enough to have a memorable event!

Nicole was amazing and flexible during the entire wedding process. She was able to arrive earlier than planned to set up a mic, which we appreciated, but most importantly, she could read the room, and our guests did NOT sit down the entire reception. It was so much fun. She was also able to play both western and eastern music which was important for our guests and us. Highly recommend!

Nicole knows how to read a room so well, and was able to mix music from all the genres we requested: Latin and Top 40, oldies and even some obscure tracks my parents had requested. The transitions were seamless. Every guest was on their feet dancing for the majority of the time and this was during covid restrictions where everyone had to dance in their own pod within a square of tape. First of all, you CAN get married during a pandemic! Nicole was wonderful from the start. Everything for us was decided last minute and she was patient with us, our venue, and willing to accommodate our needs. She understood our situation and was willing to pivot accordingly. Helps tremendously that she's bilingual and knows lots of different music. Dancing wasn't allowed at our wedding. Can you imagine? And she still didn't flinch. Our friends ended up surprising us with a mariachi band and I thought she would be upset at getting interrupted and having time taken away from her to spin, but she didn't. She enjoyed them as much as we did, and transitioned seamlessly from their performance back to our music. You want to hear the music that you love at your wedding, even if your guests may not be too crazy about it. It's your day! Nicole is great at reading a crowd, so she played what we wanted, and kept a balance with the guests too. If she saw that people weren't really responding, she would switch it up, but mainly everyone was into it, because she had a great flow. People definitely got up and danced by their tables in the end. We received compliments from our guests and our venue for Nicole. She's not going to be showy and flashy and try to hype up your crowd with lots of talking or with a crazy light show. She lets the music do the work and that was one of the things we loved best about her. She doesn't make herself the center of attention. Our guests had a wonderful time and were so happy! Covid was a challenge, but not one that stopped Nicole from doing her best. I look forward to a future party where I can hire her to really keep us on the floor all night long.

Nicole (owner of TCM DJ Events) DJ'd our wedding and I can't say enough good things about our experience with her both before and during the wedding. My husband and I are pretty insecure about our music choices so we needed a DJ who would be able to "get us" but choose music at their own discretion. Best DJ ever!! I think my feet still hurt from the non stop dancing at our wedding!! From the moment Nicole & I collaborated on the wedding playlist I knew the dance floor would be Rockin’. It was super fun working with Nicole..We laughed, sang and reminisced during our meeting. My husband & I love Rock n Roll and Nicole nailed the mix of what we love and what our guest would love. We had Nicole Otero as our DJ for the night of our wedding this November at Gramercy Park Hotel, and she was simply fabulous! She was constantly aware of the music that had to be played at every stage of the wedding, perfect timing, and the selections fit perfectly for every moment. Nicole was an excellent DJ at our summer wedding! She made the whole process extremely easy, stress-free and enjoyable.
