Stephanie was a wonderful person to work with for our wedding in Marin, and we recommend Teague Events highly! Stephanie was referred to us from a friend, and we ended up hiring her to be our month-of/day-of coordinator. We had a great experience with Stephanie and her assistants, and they were extremely professional and ran the show during our big day. My wife and I did most of the planning for our wedding, but wanted to ensure we didn't have to worry about all the granular details and any issues that would arise with vendors, last-minute changes, etc. We were able to focus entirely on our wedding ceremony and spending time with friends and family! Stephanie was great with everyone involved and helped to set up and run the show. We would recommend Stephanie and her team without hesitation for your wedding planning and celebration.
Stephanie is the best! We were working with Stephanie for almost 18 months to help us plan the best backyard wedding in the same location my parents got married 30 years ago. Stephanie was always available and quick to answer any questions or help solve any problems. We picked May because we assumed it would be an easy weather day but of course in CA you never know what is going to happen! About a week prior to the wedding we learned there may be some rain, about 3-4 days before we learned there was a chance it was going to be dumping for basically the whole day! Stephanie used her connections to secure us a LAST MINUTE tent for our 100+ wedding guest party and helped rearrange the entire layout to organize all of our reception tables to fit under the tent and not get rained on. Chances are, it was raining ALL day, so good thing we got the tent, the whole reception and dance floor area would have been ruined, but instead the design stayed perfectly dry. After the ceremony the sun parted and it was beautiful the rest of the day and we never had to worry about anything thanks to Stephanie. It was the best day ever. And we could NOT have done it without her. We would recommend her to everyone!

Stephanie and her team are fantastic. She saved the day for my daughter's outdoor May 6th wedding. Her planning services, vendor recommendations and attention to detail are superb. Her super powers kicked into high gear Day-of when on&off rain and a changing forecast put her on alert. While her team set up for rain contingency, she constantly watched the forecast, sweated all the details so we didn't have to and kept us informed of options. She orchestrated and plan that resulted in a perfect ceremony and reception. While I saw and appreciated the care and hard work she put in, all the wedding party and guests saw was an absolutely fabulous event. We received so many compliments. We literally could not have done it without Stephanie's amazing talent and professionalism.
My now-husband and I hired Stephanie for the full service coordination. We hired her in mid-December for an October wedding, leaving only about 10 months to plan. Although she was pricier than we were looking for, after doing extensive research she actually ended up being the most affordable for the most services! Other planners we looked at charged the same amount as Stephanie's full-service package for half the work. In the wake of COVID-related wedding postponements, many venues were fully booked, but Stephanie did a great job in finding us unique venues to explore that matched our desired wedding aesthetic, and she found us a perfect place. She also recommended great vendors, did an amazing job at keeping track of contracts, due dates, and keeping us on track for who we should be booking when, what we should be buying, etc. She always responded to our questions in a timely manner and was great about communicating if she needed more time to respond (for example, if I texted her a question but she was running another wedding, she would let me know that and would let me know when I could expect a response). Stephanie provided lots of insight as to where we could get certain things we wanted for our wedding (votives, sparklers, etc). We had a Star Wars & Harry Potter themed wedding, and Stephanie did a great job of incorporating this in a subtle and beautiful way.
The day of the wedding, Stephanie made sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated set-up and breakdown of everything, and left my husband and I feeling calm and confident on what we've heard is a very stressful day! She oversaw everything, dealing with any problems as they arose, and I never even saw or hear about the hiccups until well after the wedding, which was perfect because it let me truly enjoy my special day. She was able to figure out my complicated bustle when my MOH had to drop out of the wedding, kept everyone on time, and even helped us secretly figure out our photographer's favorite song so we could play it for him to dance to!
With both of us working high-stress full-time jobs, I'm not sure how we would have made it through the wedding planning without Stephanie. She's meticulously organized and really helped bring our vision to life, and we had the absolute best day ever. Over six months later we are still hearing from guests how fun our day was and that it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended, and we know it was in large part thanks to Stephanie.

Stephanie is amazing! She designed and executed our dream wedding. We went with her full planning service and it was worth every penny! The wedding was like a dream come true. Stephanie was our planner for our wedding in September 2022. We hired her as a partial planner. Since hiring her about 10 months before the wedding, she was constantly in communication, organized, and prompt with every task we needed to complete. She designed a beautiful proposal for us to help out vision come to life. She gave us amazing ideas and helped to adapt certain ideas in order to fit within a budget. She coordinated with all of our vendors to alleviate the load and stress we were experiencing while in the thick of planning. This was all before our special day.
On our special day, she made the day seamless. The decor, the organization of all the vendors, the timeline of the day; it was all just breathtaking and perfect and we could not have pictured a better day. We are so grateful to have had Stephanie as our planner for our special day!
There need to be more than 5 stars for Stephanie! She dealt with so many issues before our wedding and did it professionally, respectfully and timely. On top of her professionalism, she is highly creative and absolutely a joy to work with!. My wife and I could not have asked for someone better suited to plan and organize our big day! Our wedding was far from simple, and wedding/event planning is not a realm we had much experience in. Somehow, the stars aligned, and we hired Stephanie as our wedding coordinator. We knew this would be an important step, but in retrospect Stephanie was absolutely pivotal in ensuring that the most important day of our lives was more beautiful, fun, smooth & scheduled than we could have ever imagined.
Not only is Stephanie incredibly prompt and easy to talk to, she is incredibly knowledgeable and hands-on in every step of the planning process. From providing a simple yet thorough written checklist catered to our wedding specifically, connections with the best vendors at the best prices, sitting in on vendor meetings and asking important questions we'd have never thought to ask, all the way to leading a well-organized rehearsal and working her butt off on wedding day, there is absolutely no doubt we could have had such an incredible wedding without her professional help and assistance. This made our daily lives so much easier the entire time, and we always looked forward to our next meeting with Stephanie. Seriously - as someone who was hesitant about a coordinator at all in the beginning - STE is worth every penny and more.
Stephanie Teague is, in short, a God-send.
Her attention to detail, her clear communication, and her preparedness-for-any-situation made her worth every single penny. To be perfectly honest, when we were going in to our first meeting/consult with her, I was having difficulty understanding exactly why we even needed a planner. When we left that meeting, I couldn't understand how anyone can get through a wedding without one. I would say that pound-for-pound, she was the best money spent on the entire event and I say that without hesitation or exaggeration. She made our day so special and took so much off of our plates. She easily handled issues ranging from sticky family situations to groomsmen needing safety pins and lint rollers. She sees every detail.
Stephanie coordinated with all of our vendors. She made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. She kept our wedding right on schedule down to the minute. She and her staff also packed up all of our decor, floral, and everything we brought on site (there was a lot) in an organized and beautiful fashion so it was easy to load out. And she even put me in my place a couple of times :)

Stephanie made the wedding of my absolute dreams come to life during a time when I didn't even know if we would HAVE a wedding (May 2021). We had to reschedule 3 times and ultimately move the venue to a private family residence in Santa Rosa.
Stephanie has unbelievably impeccable taste and brought in the most incredible, talented vendors to bring it all to life: the florist, the mobile bar, the catering, the bakery, all of it was TRULY magical and it was like seeing my perfect Pinterest board vision right in front of my eyes. I honestly still can't even believe it when I look at the photos, and the reviews from friends and family were OVER THE MOON. We've consistently heard that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever attended, and that the food/drink was phenomenal (I know they *say* that doesn't matter, but we're big foodies).
She was so patient and flexible during the pandemic, too, and made sure to talk me off a ledge a couple of times, share her experiences as events happened, follow the latest safety recommendations, and gave me plenty of options for moving forward. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that during such a time of uncertainty. Even with the reschedules and relocations, she made us feel really taken care of (whereas our original venue wanted to charge us to reschedule, etc.).
My only regret, honestly, is that I only opted for a partial coordination instead of full coordination. Because of that choice, my husband and I had to take care of/stress over quite a few details the day before and the day after (like rental deliveries or garbage). I wish I had just gone all-in with Stephanie, or had more conversations or opportunities to sort of 'upgrade' the package. Part of it, as well, was that the venue was a family residence, so I ended up needing to do a lot of coordinating with said family! Just do yourself a favor and commit to the whole thing. ;)
All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with how the wedding turned out, and I can't reiterate enough how truly beautiful it was or how kind and creative all of the vendors were (and we would have never found those on our own). And during the wedding itself, we felt fully taken care of and she did an amazing job keeping everything on track and on time. Even when the temperature suddenly dropped out of nowhere, Stephanie helped us with a last-minute move to help make all of the guests more comfortable.
I am so grateful for Stephanie's time and talent, and still in complete awe a year later that this ceremony and reception were ours; it truly feels like a dream. <3
Oh man, it’s hard to even put into words what Stephanie and her team did for me on my wedding day. She was the person I looked to when I felt overwhelmed, the person who bustled my dress for me not once but twice (bless her for her patience), she was the person who sewed my MOH into her dress when it tore on the way to the aisle, she was the person who helped my dad with his tie and most importantly, she was the person who I trusted wholeheartedly, to execute my wedding vision. If you’ve ever seen the movie The Wedding Planner, Stephanie is 100%, Jennifer Lopez. She created an incredibly detailed day-of timeline for us, she handled all of the vendor details, she made sure that I had everything I needed as a bride and she really was the unsung hero of the night. I could never have made it through the day without her and her incredible team. If I could give them a 10/10 I would. I cannot recommend her enough. I hope one of my friends gets married soon and uses Stephanie just so I can interact with her again. She’s everything I thought she’d be and so much more. <3
Stephanie is amazing! We hired her as our month of coordinator for our small wedding. Even before the "month of" she was helpful in answering questions and referring vendors. Since our wedding was during COVID, we didn't meet until the month before the wedding but right when we met her, she put us at ease. Stephanie is so warm, personable and on top of it! In the weeks before the wedding, she took care of everything and made sure we were on track. She is great with details - she recommended a few details that I hadn't thought of but made such a difference. I didn't have to contact vendors the week of the wedding because Stephanie was in contact with everyone and coordinating it all! It was such a relief. Our venue was difficult to work with at times and Stephanie handled everything the day of with such grace. Stephanie helped set up everything for the wedding and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is gorgeous. I highly recommend her!
Stephanie was a life saver. Although she couldn't attend the rehearsal and event day of, up until that weekend she was amazing and her coordinators day of were great too. I was a bride, planning a wedding out of state and had only 4-5 months before the big day. Stephanie came in to save the day, not only with the amazing vendors she was able to book for me but also the details and follow up!! Highly recommend!!!
If you’re still looking for a wedding planner, then look no further because Stephanie is who you want and need for your big day! We hired her as month of coordinator but she still helped us well before that with any questions I had about potential vendors and advice. She is truly the best at what she does. She is patient, kind and will make sure everything goes smoothly and if something isn’t, she isn’t going to let it show which will definitely help you and your fiancé keep the nerves down.
If I had another event, I would hire her immediately. She is so organized, will make sure to get things done for you no matter the time of day and even answer the millions of questions you may have about the smallest of things. During your wedding, she will come in to help and get everything ready like the decor, vendors in the right places and will even give you gum if you need it! She thinks of everything and will never come to you about anything besides getting you ready for the next thing on your timeline - her timeline by the way is so detailed it’s amazing! I don’t know what I would have done without her… she really made the planning process and the day of go by so smoothly and effortlessly. I can’t recommend her enough!

To say I had anxiety about executing our backyard wedding while also GETTING married is an understatement. Stephanie helped ease my concerns, provided amazing suggestions and held my hand every step of the way. During our initial meeting I took her through the proposed wedding space and she had so many fun and unique ideas I had never thought of, and was very intent on helping the day feel very “us” instead of a day copied off of pinterest. She set up meetings with vendors, provided menu ideas and pricing, and helped this indecisive bride-to-be tie everything together. I cannot express enough how supportive and patient Stephanie was with me through the entire process. Although our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, I hope to pick up right where we left off once it is safe to do so.
Stephanie is very knowledgeable, well connected, and has great taste and insight when it comes to wedding planning. Unfortunately we had to change our plans, through no fault of Stephanie's, but my wife and I were very happy with everything Stephanie was able to do for us. She always had options, knew what questions to ask, provided great input and is extremely friendly and professional to boot. If we get the chance to hold our wedding, we are definitely asking Stephanie to finish planning it. 10/10 would recommend.
We are incredibly grateful to have had Stephanie as our Month of Coordinator for our wedding this past weekend. She's incredibly professional and was a tremendous help in making our wedding beautiful. She was flexible and had begun working with us weeks prior to the one month mark of our wedding since we had our venue walk through scheduled two months out.
We could tell that she's a highly experienced planner/coordinator. Although my wife and I had thought of a lot of the details of what we wanted, Stephanie still asked us questions that made us realize that there were many little things that we hadn't thought of. And through the entire meeting, she assured us that it was still our wedding, and that we could do whatever we wanted....and so we did! It helped us cut out the parts we didn't care for and create a unique and fun wedding that many of our guests hadn't experienced before.
Stephanie also has an incredible eye in design. We had a vague idea of what we wanted in terms of the decor layout, I wasn't exactly sure how it would all come together. Somewhere in my gut, I still felt like we hadn't thought it through enough or that maybe our idea wasn't realizable based on what we had purchased for decor (our venue was a beautiful blank slate, and so we pretty much had to decorate many aspects of the ceremony and reception). We handed Stephanie our boxes of decor, and my chicken scratch of blueprint sketches of where we wanted things to generally be with fingers crossed. When I walked into the venue on the day of the wedding, I couldn't believe how incredibly beautiful Stephanie had transformed that room. It was perfect! Our ceremony, sweetheart table, and dessert bars was more than what we could've imagined them to be. If I already had my wedding photos ready (it's been less than a week since the wedding), I'd post them here for all to see.
We couldn't thank Stephanie and her assistant for the work they've done. From texting us heartfelt messages of encouragement the morning of our wedding day to going out of the way to ensure my bar was still stocked (since my friends were drowning themselves in bourbon and whiskey), Stephanie is the extra friend and sidekick you need so that you can truly enjoy the party and not worry about anything else. We had ZERO stress. Because of her, we really did feel like it was the best day of our lives. From the bottom of both our hearts, THANK YOU STEPHANIE!
My (now) wife and I embarked on an 11-month planning journey that was ambitious and complex. We wanted to have two ceremonies, a smaller American ceremony and a much much larger Laotian ceremony—both in the East Bay but at different locations. Compounding these difficulties was that we live in Sacramento. Compounding it, even more, were the constraints that the family placed on us particularly for the Lao wedding.
As we began the planning stages ourselves we realized….that we were naive and couldn’t plan this on our own. After a few searches, we came across Stephanie Teague Events. The awards that she won and one of her weddings being profiled on TLC suggested to us that she could tackle these two weddings. After we sent an initial email, she said that she felt confident that she could make our vision a reality. She didn’t hesitate or have concerns with the constraints and parameters we were looking for and that she would encounter. We chose her to be our full wedding planner from start to finish.
Stephanie made the entire process so much easier than it would have been otherwise. She coordinated venue visits and brainstormed lists of venues when our first round of venues didn’t meet our expectations. Ultimately, we chose two venues that perfectly fit each ceremony—one of which we would have never considered if we did it on our own. Within two months of contracting with Stephanie we already agreed on the bigger parts of the wedding like location, food, desserts, rentals, décor, and flowers. It truly opened up time for us to focus on the smaller things like paperie, programs, RSVPs, etc. She constructed seating charts and floor plans for each wedding and documented an extremely detailed timeline. She was an advocate for us during meetings between us and family, she kept us on track with our budget, gave us her constructive feedback, and was always always always responsive. He even took multiple hours out to meet with family and patiently put up with the demands of both us and the family—offering compromises and raising concerns wherever was needed.
On the day of the wedding, she helped put out any issues behind the scenes and made us feel at ease—checking in on us and giving us options to pivot into different events when necessary. She also dedicated 20 hours of work that day, setting up at both venues as well as helping with take down. She made the vision that we had for the last four to five years a reality.
She has tons of experience and now can add Lao weddings into her portfolio of experiences ( we highly encourage Laotian folks to reach out to her!)
Stephanie is personable, realistic, organized, and sharp. She will be your advocate when speaking to vendors and family. She has an amazing eye for design and plenty of great connections with vendors in the Sacramento/Davis area.

The best decision I made in planning my wedding was hiring Stephanie. Her recommendations and advice made decision making so easy, and she never failed to give me good perspective and relieve stress whenever we spoke. She knows all the best vendors, and executes quickly and flawlessly. My wedding day came out more beautiful than I could have hoped, and she made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing. For days after the event my husband, family, and friends raved about what a relief it was to have Stephanie on our team. I cannot recommend her more highly!

My daughter's wedding day could have easily not gone well due to the heavy rain storms going through..
Since there was no Plan B for cover/roof at the venue, Stephanie worked very long days and nights on the phone with me as late as midnight entire week before, getting all the changes in place, tenting and timeline changes while still managing to keep my daughter calm. Stephanie, as the rain came harder only worked harder to make sure the details of the cake table, guest tables, sweetheart tables, etc., were done exactly to the original vision of the bride and groom.

Stephanie was amazing to work with for our wedding in Davis. We wanted a relaxed and fairly non-traditional wedding and Stephanie delivered! We weren’t quite sure of what we wanted out of the day, but Stephanie was able to guide us and show us what needed to get done. Stephanie kept us on track when decisions came up, but largely took the reins and pulled off the perfect evening allowing us to enjoy a stress free planning experience. She provided us with multiple recommendations for everything including catering to photography. Stephanie and her staff were professional from day one. We highly recommend Stephanie for your event.
We hired Stephanie and her team as "day of" coordinators, meaning she came in about six weeks before our wedding at Scribner Bend Vineyards to put everything together. We hired Stephanie because she was so mature, calm and said, "my goal is to make you feel like nothing went wrong."
From our first meeting she had so much great advice, asked us things we hadn't even thought about, and helped us get our organization to the next level. She was so responsive to every email and text, advised us on vendors, answered many random questions, and when we got to be a few weeks out from the wedding, fully took over coordinating the venue and all the vendors.
The biggest gift you can give yourself on your wedding day (especially if you're already spending a good chunk of change) is to take the load of logistics and coordination off your shoulders so you can stay in the moment and enjoy the day. Stephanie took everything over seamlessly, did things I had forgotten to ask her to do, picked up details that I hadn't even had time to explain, and executed everything flawlessly. She took everything off our shoulders so we could be fully present and enjoy the day with family and friends, without worrying about the tiny details.
If you're on the fence about whether or not to hire a coordinator, do yourself a favor and HIRE STEPHANIE! She is the best of the best.
Stephanie was an absolute dream to work with. I had the pleasure of working with her on two different occasions.
The first experience was for my sister's wedding which was taking place at our home. My sister found out two month prior to her wedding that the rental company she had planned everything with shut down. With barely anytime left, she had to start all over. Luckily, I found Stephanie and when speaking to her about the different services she offered, we decided to go with "The Month Of" coordination package. She came in and handled everything to do with the vendors. Fast forward to the day of the wedding- as 1 of 4 girls, I've had to be the sister of the bride a few times and this wedding went so smoothly because Stephanie had a handle on everything. Anytime there was an issue I simply went to her and that was it. I was able to enjoy my sister's wedding and more importantly. my sister was such a calm bride who could enjoy her own wedding. Not to mention, we are Pakistani so this meant Stephanie had to learn and tend to many customs and traditions we have in our weddings and she did great!
The second experience was for my own wedding. I decided to hire Stephanie with the "Full Coordination Package". I wanted everything to come together very smoothly so my whole family could enjoy the wedding as it was our last family wedding. Stephanie made sure that was the case. She worked with me from beginning to end- driving back and forth from the Sacramento to the Bay Area to find the perfect venue, helping me find vendors I wouldn't have ever known about, finalizing room blocks, finalizing decor details, working with the vendors (we all know just how much of a pain that can be). And once again, she had to understand and follow through unmanly customs and traditions we have as apart of Pakistani weddings. That included her helping out on the the Mendhi night in addition to the wedding reception. She went above and beyond! Everything went so smoothly and was enjoyable for the whole family.

I got engaged last October and quickly realized planning a wedding was not as easy as I thought it was going to be. In November, I started looking for a wedding planner. Stephanie was recommended to me by a long time family friend. I contacted Stephanie and we set up a time to meet. She was kind enough to drive to Sacramento and meet at an odd time in order to work around my job schedule. When we first met, I knew she would be perfect to help plan my wedding. She was very friendly, organized, and passionate about her job. She went over all of the packages that she offered and did not pressure us at all. Once we decided which package we wanted (we went with her Full Coordination package), the real wedding planning began. Stephanie helped us create a detailed budget for the wedding to help keep us on track which was extremely helpful when looking at different vendors. She provided us information on venues, vendors, and even clothing. She was available by phone or text whenever (and I mean WHENEVER) we had any questions or concerns. She attended meetings with us and even helped coordinate a lot of the meetings. She dealt with the stressful phone calls, contracts, and keeping up the timelines. She helped coordinate colors, linens, invitations, programs, menus, etc. She really understood how stressful wedding planning can be and did not judge me based on my wild expectations for my wedding day. She also was very honest with us and we always knew what to expect. I can 100% say that my wedding turned out PERFECT thanks to Stephanie. She made the day go so smoothly. She handled everything with such grace. Everyone, including my bridal party, loved her. We are so grateful to have met Stephanie and would use her in the future for any other big occasion. When my fiancee, now wife, and I first contacted Stephanie for our Lake Tahoe wedding, we included the fact that this is a same-sex wedding. Her response: "I fully support everyone's right to marry the person they love!" From our first meeting via Facetime, Stephanie was very transparent and communicative. Every text message went answered, every request was followed up on. I was shocked when she would always say, "I'll do that for you," then have it done in less than 24 hours. Her level of professionalism is unparalleled. I recently used Stephanie Teague for the “month of” wedding planner services and have nothing but great things to say about her! In considering our wedding planner options, my (now) husband and I met with at least five different wedding planners. While there were other venders that seemed decent, we learned that these many wedding planners don’t guarantee that they will be the actual wedding planner on the day of your wedding. For example, at the time that you book with them, that person may be available for your special date, but if a larger wedding that requires their attention gets booked after the fact, they will prioritize that wedding and assign you one of their employees/assistants. While they may assure that their staff members were just as good, we wanted to know exactly who we would be working with along the way as well as on the big day. An example that one wedding planner provided was that while she may be available on the day we book with her, if later on, she receives a request to be booked for a larger wedding at a nice venue that may be featured in a magazine, she is going to be attending that wedding instead and will assign us to one of her employees. When we booked Stephanie, we knew that there would be no surprises like this along the way. After meeting with Stephanie, we knew she was the perfect fit. Not only did the services she offers meet exactly what we were looking for, but she came off as a genuine and honest person. After working with her, we know this to be true.
We had our wedding at Park Winters, a country estate in Winters, California. Stephanie had done several weddings here before, so she was very familiar with the venue and had great rapport with the Park Winters staff members. When we had meetings with the venue, Stephanie already had a lot of great ideas and suggestions. When we would express to her what we wanted out of the day and the venue, because of her familiarity and experience, she knew exactly how to make it happen. It is nice knowing that your wedding planner and the venue staff have an established relationship and work so well together, though I have no doubt that if this was Stephanie’s first time at the venue, it also would have been just fine.
On the day of the wedding, Stephanie was punctual, dressed very professionally, and was on top of everything! If any SNAFUs occurred throughout our special day, we have no knowledge of it because Stephanie handled it. She has great organizational and management skills.
Stephanie was the perfect vendor for us! We have two different friends who will be getting married within the next two years and have already recommended that they consider booking Stephanie Teague as their wedding planner. While we booked Stephanie for the “month-of” services, she also offers “partial coordination” as well as “full coordination” services. The “month-of” was the perfect fit for us, but there are different options that should be able to fit your specific needs.

I cannot recommend Stephanie enough. Hiring her will be the best thing you spend your money on for your wedding. I don’t even know where to begin to gush about her. She is the absolute best. I hired her over a year and half before my wedding, and she helped me through every single phase of wedding planning. She is the epitome of organized, professional, badass, and friendly. She will make sure that you throw the wedding of your dreams- and stay in budget! Through every stage, Stephanie helped with budget planning and tracking, made sure payments were made on time, and even handled tedious correspondence with dozens of vendors so that way my life was so much easier. It was clear after the first 5 min of our phone consultation that Stephanie and my wife clicked. I barely got a word in. (It’s probably important to note that my wife is also a professional event planner, so she’s kind of a tough client). It was clear she wanted to help make our vision possible, but she also was going to give it to us straight. She asked probing questions. Other planners we talked with clearly had a prescribed list of questions we had to answer or focused on all of the wrong areas during the consultation. Stephanie brought a personal touch.
Stephanie was definitely worth her weight in gold when she set up a speed dating day of potential wedding suppliers. At the end of it all, we love every supplier we selected. I want to party with my DJ. I want to eat and talk food with my caterer. I want to just hang out with my photographer. Having great suppliers makes a great wedding and Stephanie knows great suppliers. (I never once felt pressure or was worried about kickbacks. She gave her honest critical opinion about each).
Our wedding venue was a privately owned 1920s house up in Tahoe. Beautiful, yes. A challenge, definitely. We were able to schedule a site visit with Stephanie to walk through our vision. It really helped. They saw that our vision was crazy and helped guide us toward how to execute it. I am so thankful she took the time to visit the site. I felt much more at ease the day of the wedding.
Stephanie also excels at “day of” execution. In addition to the challenges that came with our venue (ie- literally everything had to be brought in from external vendors and pass muster with the HOA), it involved multiple locations and lots of intricate details. At the end of the night, she made sure everything got cleaned up and trucked out, and even spent a little time tidying the staging cabin.
All-in-all, we can’t say enough good things about Stephanie. She truly made our [challenging] dream wedding a reality.
Bringing on Stephanie for my month-of coordinator was by far one of the best decisions I made when it came to planning our wedding. I appreciated being able to select my own vendors and manage most of the process myself, but when it came to setting the day-of schedule, finalizing the transportation details, deciding on decorations and layout, she was instrumental. She met with my mom and I one month before our wedding and asked such great questions and provided thoughtful insight on how to get our big day across the finish line. She promptly followed up with a schedule and made our transportation for our bridal party, family and guests (my biggest stresser) go off without a hitch! She was so calm, polite and focused on the big day. Her and her team made sure all the details were covered and that the day went off perfectly on schedule. If you are toying with the idea of having a coordinator - DO IT. Stephanie was a true professional and I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding day better than I could have imagined.
I hired Stephanie as a month-of wedding planner. I found that she was relatively fast at responding to emails but that she was not proactive leading up to the wedding (I prompted all of our meetings and her sending emails to the vendors). Then we had agreed that her assistant could run the show while she went out to work on another wedding for a few hours- with the assurances that her assistant was great. While the assistant was a nice person, she did not have any handle on the day. The bridal party had zero guidance on where to go (eg from pictures to waiting room to aisle), she relied on the groom to deal with the fact that our band didn’t show up, she didn’t line up the wedding party (which led to people walking out of order), and just generally didn’t seem prepared to handle the day. Some of the seating assignments that they were supposed to set up based on my seating chart were messed up and they didn’t guide people to the correct place for cocktail hour, causing many people to miss the passed apps. The biggest value add was their clean up at the end of the night - although I’m sure that was partly the venue and something I didn’t need to pay a few thousand dollars for. Overall, we were disappointed (and everyone in our wedding party who experienced the hiccups said we should ask for a refund)
Stephanie came very highly recommended from a co-worker of mine who promised that we would be in good hands. She was right!! I cannot imagine a better wedding planner/coordinator. Stephanie took the time to really listen to my fiancé and me and then guided us to choices and options that were perfect for us. She thought of all of the things that would not have occurred to us (like corsages for our moms). She also has a voluminous collection of vendors that she has worked with that she can recommend from her first-hand experience, knowing that they will do a great job. We discovered we could completely rely on Stephanie's judgment in helping us decide what details were really important, and what extras were dispensable. On the actual wedding day itself, Stephanie was phenomenal, handling every issue behind the scenes so we could really be present with our guests. Stephanie met with them (working around their schedules) called, emailed and texted to find out what was important to them; contacted vendors, worked out problems; juggled numerous food vendors; coordinated timelines with the photographer, videographer, large wedding party and guests....
That was just the tip of the iceberg.

Stephanie will make your wedding exactly what you want it to be. We had several different vendors, a unique venue with unique issue, a large wedding, and a ton of "cooks in the kitchen". Stephanie made sure my wife and I were able to discuss the elements of our wedding that mattered to us the most in order to make sure that they went off without a hitch and sure enough, they did. Stephanie was everything I had hoped for, and more! My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a vow renewal this summer, STE did a full coordination. Stephanie was always on time for our appointments, gave me options and ideas for the ceremony and was extremely responsive when I had questions. I enjoyed working with her and all of the vendors she recommended. The vendors were prompt, on-time and extremely courteous. The food was amazing, the flowers were gorgeous and the rentals were beautiful.

Stephanie is worth her weight in gold...and more! I cannot recommend her enough. My husband and I hired Stephanie in May 2015 to prepare for our June 2017 wedding. My husband had a postdoc across the country while I was finishing up my dissertation in Davis, and I honestly don't think this wedding would have happened without Stephanie. And not only did it happen, but the wedding was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined because of Stephanie.
Stephanie is the most organized person I have ever met. She would always send these incredibly polite yet "let's get this stuff done" e-mail reminders about our timeline. If you and your partner are working full time while planning a wedding, then these reminders are HUGE. Because of Stephanie and all of her connections (and oh...does she have connections, and they often come with discounts for her clients!), we got all of our top choices for venue, DJ, hair/makeup, flowers, and much more.
If I haven't convinced you yet to hire Stephanie, let me share a quick story. My mom and sister flew to California to go visit Sugar Bowl (our wedding venue) with me before we put down a deposit and signed a contract. A few days after our visit, I contacted Sugar Bowl to put down our deposit and sign the contract, but was informed that the prices were increasing to a point where it was way beyond our budget. I was absolutely devastated and told Stephanie, and she immediately got on the phone and sent out e-mails to their manager to negotiate the prices they had originally quoted us, and they eventually honored those quotes. She fought for us and had our backs every step of the way. Because of Stephanie, we were able to still have our dream wedding venue that was within our budget. She also keeps meticulous records--a few times we were able to refer back to her records to ensure earlier price quotes were being honored.
And finally, I just really enjoyed working with Stephanie. It is clear that she loves what she does, and I really appreciate her honesty in advising me where to skimp and where to splurge on our budget. There were a few times where Stephanie and I sat down for two-hour intensive meetings at Crepeville in Davis to crunch numbers over the budget and all of these tiny details that I would never have thought of--like all the hidden service charges, tax rates, etc. Yikes. I would walk into these meetings feeling so stressed, but would leave feeling so on top of it...mostly because Stephanie was so on top of it.

Stephanie is amazing!!!! We had an Oct 22nd wedding at my parents house and needed help!! Stephanie met with us beforehand and had all the details. She and her assistant were amazing day of insured that I, the bride, or my mom had to worry about anything the day of the ceremony! Stephanie coordinated the high school staff that was helping to set up the space and serve food, she set up all of the special tables, candle table, guest book and dessert table and everything looked amazing!!! Me and my husband were married in June of this year, and had the pleasure of working with STE as our wedding planner. We chose the partial coordination package and it was absolutely perfect for what I needed. We had already selected some vendors, and I truly enjoyed having hand on participation in the planning of m wedding, but I could have never done it without her. When rain was predicted in the forecast the week of the wedding and we had a tough time getting a tent, Stephanie called around a ton of places until she found a tent that could work and at the last minute re-arranged the seating plan for the entire event so we could fit everything in the space we had. We barely know where to start… Stephanie was a ‘splurge’ for us, mostly because we were going to be out of state for most of our wedding planning, but she ended up being the best investment we could have ever made. We had a pretty specific vision for something that would be mainly a party, not a wedding reception (since the wedding took place elsewhere, a couple of months before, with only a handful of people). Our wedding day was overcast and lightly raining. None of our 200 guests noticed or cared, as Stephanie somehow made it almost unnoticeable. Everyone, especially the bride and groom had an exceptional day filled with love and happiness. We used two different venues. Stephanie expertly planned every minute of that day from 8 O’clock in the morning until midnight. She is tireless and dedicated to each task at hand.
Simply put, we felt heard and that Stephanie understood our vision from the very beginning. You will not find a better wedding planner.

I found Stephanie on theknot.com and from the initial meeting I was really excited to work with her. Stephanie was beyond helpful and always super responsive, despite the three hour time difference. My husband and I were planning our Truckee wedding from Kentucky and I couldn't imagine going through the process without her. She hooked us up with her amazing team of vendors and made the process as stress-less as possible. I couldn't possibly list the ways that Stephanie made our day a perfect one. We were humming along with our own planning and then began to realize that there were a lot of things that we were probably missing or that we didn't know how to execute. On top of that, we planned a non-traditional wedding. We contacted Stephanie for her day-of services (which is way more than just the day-of). She was able to step confidently into place and helped us shape the flow of the wedding and made sure we had a great mix of traditional and non-traditional touches. On the actual day-of, Stephanie and her assistant were amazing!! They never stopped moving for over twelve hours. She knew what to do and when to do it. She kept the event running smoothy and made sure we stuck to our timeline (which she had helped us create - who knew that you needed a timeline?!). She decorated the dining tables, reception area, and s'mores table beautifully. She dealt with all of the vendors. And she did it all perfectly! There wasn't anything that I would have changed! There was NO WAY that we could have pulled our wedding off without such a great coordinator. I am so glad that we found Stephanie and you will be too!
We were not originally planning to hire a wedding coordinator. We were on a relatively tight budget and couldn't see how we could make it work. But, we ended up planning a wedding from across the country and during a time when both me and my husband-to-be had extremely demanding jobs. We interviewed 5 wedding coordinators in the Sacramento-area before choosing Stephanie. It was easily one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding process.
First, Stephanie respected that we wanted to stick to our budget. That was important to us and she found ways to help us balance having an amazingly beautiful wedding without breaking the budget. She works with a network of vendors who really went above and beyond what we were expecting, so we felt really good about every dollar we spent. Our DJ tried to spring an extra fee on us, on our wedding day, 2 hours before our ceremony, and Stephanie made sure we didn't have to either worry about it OR pay the last minute fee.
Second, Stephanie was a great listener and really helped us style our perfect wedding. We never would have found our dream wedding venue without her, and she helped us pull together a "look" for our wedding that was beyond what I imagined (and on budget!).
Third, Stephanie is extremely responsive - via text, email, phone - and was indispensable on the day of our wedding. If there were problems, I knew nothing about them, everything came together beautifully, and we really got to enjoy the day we worked so hard to plan.
When you're on a budget, hiring a wedding coordinator can seem like an unnecessary expense. But, I really believe, at the end of the day, Stephanie saved us both money and time and our wedding day was absolutely everything we were hoping for and more.

Stephanie is great! Between school and work and planning a wedding, I was about ready to pull my hair out and then I met Stephanie! Planning a wedding was one of the most stressful things I've done so far, but Stephanie is so helpful and organized. Any time I text of called she responded right away. She helped me with things I had even opted to do myself. I really don't think I could've done it without her.
