Wonderful , amazing, fabulous - the list of superlatives could go on and on! Terra Vista Strings provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and during dinner. They were knockouts! We had a rain storm (!) during the cocktail hour and they swiftly moved under cover and continued to perform flawlessly - truly, consummate professionals! As other brides have said, they have an extensive catalog of traditional and contemporary music, including 90s and 2000s hits - and they performed some unconventional choices at our request - such as Zelda’s Lullaby and Born to Run! Having a live string trio of such amazing musicians elevated the entire event and made it unique and memorable - book them ASAP and you will be glad you did!

We had terra vista string trio play for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding in December 2023. We had they play an assortment of modern songs. One of the easiest vendors to work with, and so many compliments from our guests! Only regret we had was that we didn’t get to enjoy more of their music ourselves since we had to be away taking photos during cocktail hour. (Funny enough, the music did carry through the venue and we got to hear it when we were outside, providing a kind of movie score feeling for us as we were taking pictures beneath the trees. A very special memory I will hold with me!) Couldn’t be happier!

All our guests really enjoyed having a live trio there to supply the wedding music, and they were incredibly professional throughout the event. Terra Vista Strings was wonderful. I didn't have many preferences for exact songs so I just gave them free reign to play what they wanted and it turned out beautifully! Unfortunately, as the bride, I had to hear the praise from my guests and didn't get to hear it all myself since I was being paraded around for pictures. I only got to hear the music during the ceremony and it literally transformed the ceremony into the most magical event!!! I requested Canon in D and when I walked down the aisle, it brought tears to my eyes. The investment in a string trio was well worth it as it elevated the entire event and added such elegance that I am SO happy we chose them. Music is subjective but I can't recommend them enough, if you're thinking about adding strings, go with Terra Vista!

We hired a Terra Vista Strings duo to perform for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and I'm so glad we did! They had a large list of songs to choose from, and the music was beautiful. One note is that you're required to provide a space heater if having an outdoor wedding where the temperature is 55 degrees or below - I completely understand why but wanted to flag this for others (a sudden cold front came in the weekend of our wedding, so we were scrambling a bit).

They were easy to communicate with, showed up on time in 100 degree heat, and sounded beautiful. They were also flexible when we needed to add PA during the ceremony. Their prices were better than other string trio quotes I got, yet they have the same repertoire and sounded just as good. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely love strings music, as did many of our guests, and we knew we were asking for an exception to play for so long, but Terra Vista Strings helped us make this happen! They were very responsive to all our inquiries and absolutely did their best to fulfill all our requests, even when they were a bit unusual. Their music selection is quite large, and we loved that there were popular classical as well as contemporary music selections available. It was very easy to pick songs we wanted for our ceremony (we were provided an example list and we just went through the songs on our own), and we just wanted any kind of contemporary music from their list played for the reception and dinner – which they did beautifully! We highly recommend Terra Vista Strings if you want strings music at your wedding/event!!

As the bride you do not hear much of the music but what I heard from Terra Vista Strings was amazing! I was so happy to walk down the aisle to a Beatles song but also have classic wedding music played for other parts of the ceremony. The range of available songs was really great. Preparation for the wedding was also a breeze with TVS. They helped us pick our music and explained everything so well. Highly recommend!

We were really disappointed that we could not hear out string trio even a little bit. I also heard from my coordinator that the musicians were being a bit crabby about the weather (it was beautiful out) and I guess were a bit snippy with her. I'm sure they just had a bad day, but it was incredibly disappointing after the great service we received in preparation for our day. This is our biggest regret from our wedding. :( It's really sad since we specially chose songs for them to play (and they even arranged some for us!). I'm sure it's not their fault, but it just didn't work at all and it really bummed me out that my husband didn't even hear the song I was surprising him with walking down the aisle.

Terra Vista Strings was fabulous! They have such an extensive repertoire of music - we wanted only contemporary music for both our ceremony and the cocktail hour and they delivered. Their renditions of songs are beautifully arranged, they are extremely talented musicians. We had to postpone our wedding from last year to this November, and they were very easy to work with. Terra Vista Strings is phenomenal! My daughter had an outdoor wedding at Mercury Hall and the music was exquisite. The effect of a string quartet beneath a canopy of trees was magical! Terra Vista has a broad spectrum of songs and pieces. They were easy to communicate with and quality of the playing was stellar. They even played a piece not on their list that is a favorite of mine. Terra Vista Strings played our wedding last Saturday and our only complaint is that we didn’t get to be physically present more to enjoy their music and we regrettably didn’t get a moment to thank them for playing. Yi and Anthony were a joy to work with leading up to the wedding and were always very responsive and flexible with my strange requests. I even had them custom arrange my special processional song which came with a very reasonable fee and was definitely worth it. We highly recommend them!

My husband was really excited to have a string quartet for our wedding. He definitely had it right for wanting to book them! I was so happy with the music during our wedding. We had them play “canon in D” when I walked down that aisle and it was perfect! During our cocktail hour we were talking pictures nearby so I could hear the music they played and it was so great! We booked a string quartet for our wedding and even had two custom arrangements created by them that turned out beautifully. I’m a musician and educator so a majority of my friends are musicians and they couldn’t stop talking about how great the quartet was! The atmosphere Terra Vista helped create for before the ceremony and during cocktail hour made our night even more magical. They played a lot of great contemporary arrangements that even had some people dancing during cocktail hour. I am so glad we booked them for our wedding!

I was only able to hear a little bit of the music - I was in a different building before I went over to walk down the aisle - but that moment was so picture perfect. A beautiful rendition of Canon in D sent me down the aisle, and I just felt like I was floating. I also heard later many different guests raving about them and their choices of music during the cocktail hour. Some months later, I bumped into the owner at another event venue. He remembered me, and we talked like we were old friends, reminiscing. Very professional! I recommend them to every engaged couple I know!

Terra Vista was a hit at my wedding! All of the guests loved the contemporary music during cocktail hour, and I loved walked down the aisle to a live rendition of my favorite song. They were prompt and professional and the communication leading up to the event was thorough.

We went with a string trio for our ceremony music and Terra Vista was the best choice we could have made. They played beautifully, but also accommodated our requests for more 'off the beaten path' music like Zelda, Final fantasy, LOTR, etc. Whatever you can dream of, they can play it. While our guests were being seated, they offered to just "play to the crowd" with string renditions of contemporary and film music. They did an amazing job, and several of our guests excitedly came to us to say they'd heard a string version of a beloved song. Terra Vista was also great value for money, and I would highly recommend to anyone as well as book again for any future events.

🎶 Vendor Review: Terra Vista Strings 🎻 10/10 would recommend One of the "must haves" on our wedding dream list was having Ceremony Strings play at our big day! And after seeing Crazy Rich Asians I KNEW I wanted to walk down to "Can't Help Falling in love" 😍😂😏 Well Terra Vista Strings made it happen! We are in San Antonio and originally wanted to hire Cello Vida, but they were booked since we waited the last minute 🥺 Then we tried booking another Strings company and they were so rude to us and charging over $200 than was in our budget. Finally, we heard about TVS (I think through a FB bridal group) and had nothing but pleasant experiences in all our interactions 😀 From the first email, they were so quick to respond and professional. Once we booked, we got set up for a consultation phone call to go over song selections and since we wanted contemporary music, they sent over suggestions and also have some samples on their website to listen to! At consultation, I had an idea of what songs I wanted and 2 weren't on their suggestions or website but they still accommodated me 😀 Anthony said they have a sheet music library they can pull from, but if you request a song that isn't in that you'd just have have pay for the sheet music too. They were also extremely flexible since I changed a few songs around once or twice or maybe three times 🤭 lol They never got upset or said no, they made it work and were happy to help! Amazing customer service!💯 On the big day, you can imagine everything is a blur and very fast paced. I will never forget walking down the aisle with my parents and the strings playing so beautifully 😍💕😭 I also remember halo playing as we kissed and the recessional! My hubby absolutely loved it and we were jealous of the guests for being able to hear the whole set, pre ceremony music/bridal party+family walk/recessional and all! We hope we'll get videos from videographers of all the music because from what I heard it was beautiful beyond words 😍 Thanks so much for being a part of our day, and you definitely won't regret booking them!

We used Terra Vista Strings for our wedding on 2/20/21 for our ceremony music. I can honestly say it was such a great decision. Our guests are still raving about their experience from start to finish. The whole planning process was easy and the team made even recommended songs based on our music tastes. Terra Vista Strings is AMAZING!! We got married in December and due to COVID a lot of our guests were either asked to stay home and watch our wedding virtually or were unable to come but the comments of how beautiful the trio was AND that guests could decipher every song that was played was so great. We are so glad we hired Terra Vista Strings for our wedding! We had planned a 150-person wedding for May of 2020, and had to postpone and downsize to a 20-person wedding in October 2020. Anthony and Yi Ching were both so gracious and flexible when we had to postpone, and made it one less thing we had to worry about. Highly recommend! We hired the sting quartet for our wedding and it was like a dream. These guys did an incredible job and had a flawless delivery. I bawled my eyes out going down the aisle to Tale as Old as Time because the whole thing was so freaking perfect and they played it so well. We came across Terra Vista Strings as an option to perform at our wedding less than two months before our wedding. We were very happy with the music selection that was available and were delighted when they were still available for our date. We hired a string trio to perform at our ceremony and cocktail hour. They also provided the accompaniment to perform to Make You Feel My Love with a soloist (my dad) during the wedding ceremony. To ensure that this went smoothly they coordinated with him ahead of time and rehearsed together at the venue before the guests arrived. Terra Vista strings is clearly immensely talented -- it's clear to see that from their website and listening to their music. I didn't even realize I truly wanted strings for my wedding ceremony until I listened to their music online and absolutely fell in love and knew it would make my wedding day perfect. Plus, their breadth of music is truly amazing -- we had trouble choosing what we wanted for our event because so all of the songs were so good! We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding due to Coronavirus / COVID-19 mandatory closures, and Terra Vista Strings was so easy to work with, even though we didn't want to reschedule our wedding right away (which not all vendors were willing to work with us).
