The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our wedding attendant was amazing always making sure we had water and checking in to see if we needed anything the day of. She was so sweet & kind. Maura our event manager made everything run smoothly & I couldn’t have asked for anything more. She checked in with us several times before the wedding and responded to emails very promptly. Everyone was raving about how beautiful our wedding was. Terrain is so unique & has no much natural beauty that you don’t have to add on really anything to make it a beautiful wedding. One thing that I really loved was that there was all of our cocktail hour food prepared for us in the mushroom house where my husband and I could enjoy time alone for a few minutes after the ceremony before joining our guests. Also during this time we got to enjoy drinks of our choice. It was nice to sit down and enjoy time alone before heading to the cocktail hour and reception. The food was also amazing! One of my favorite appetizers was the broccoli. We also loved the add ones like the late night snacks (cookies and pizza) as they were a big hit by our guests! Exceptional staff, food and professionalism. Don't be afraid to lean on them and your assigned coordinator, they really are there to help. Also, the food and beverage upgrades are worth it! We truly loved everything and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I would highly reccomend Terrain for a couple looking into venues. We were pleasantly surpised by the value of a Terrain wedding. Other venues came across as "cheap" and "insincere". Terrain executes their events so well. Numerous guests commented on something as seemingly small as the incense burning during our cocktail hour. This is just one small thing that made our wedding an experience! Everyone who was a part of our wedding greatly enhanced the day and made it truly memorable. We especially enjoyed how seamless the team made our transitions between events. After our ceremony, we were encouraged to take 10 minutes alone to eat, drink, and share in each other’s company. This time was so cherished, and we are so thankful for a venue that encouraged us to devote this time. We only wish that we could relive the day over and over! I had a truly magical wedding this summer at Terrain at Styer's! My fiancé and I chose this venue knowing it would be a beautiful place for our wedding day, but we didn't know at the time just how amazing the staff would be. We worked with Carla throughout our planning process who was extremely organized, professional, and caring towards us. Myself and my fiancé are both fairly type A, and it was so great to have a venue staff that we were able to trust to make things run smoothly. It really allowed us to enjoy our big day! If I could go back and have my wedding again, I would choose Terrain at Styer's every time.

Our wedding was magical and it was absolutely in huge part to Terrain and their staff. The space is so unique and absolutely stunning. Everyone tells you to plan for something to go wrong the day of and we feel very lucky that they made everything go right. Particularly Maura and Nicole were a dream. We felt so cared for the night of our wedding and so much of the credit goes to them. Folks have been telling us the food was awesome. We genuinely haven’t heard one bad thing and believe me, our families would have shared otherwise 😂

Highly recommend Terrain at Styers. We just had our wedding there and couldn’t be happier. Everything from our walk through, planning, and day of the wedding was effortless. The team goes above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly as you envisioned it (even when it’s raining!). We are so happy with Terrain and continue to get compliments from our loved ones who shared in our day. If you’re lucky you’ll get Carla as your coordinator! We also used all of their preferred vendors and couldn’t be happier with them as well. Highly recommend considering terrain as your venue!

Terrain was a great venue for our wedding. This is a perfect location for someone wanting something different than a ballroom style wedding night. Their staff does a great job of talking you through every step of the process with scheduled video calls and checklists of things along the way. We were lucky to have our wedding outside on a beautiful spring day. But they do have a contingency plan if the weather is not cooperating. All of the wait staff and bartenders were extremely professional and really do a great job of taking care of your guests. The Venue is gorgeous both indoors and outdoors. Food was terrific and the way that they do their tasting evening is excellent and a really fun night as a couple. Their Client portal does a great job of keeping the couple on track with dates and timelines. It is also a great place where every detail of your wedding is documented and easily accessible to check along the way. We had a slight hiccup on the day of our wedding where we could not find our placement cards (our fault, not the venue) but our wedding planner was able to type them up herself and have them placed out durring cocktail hour and none of the guests had any idea. This is a small example of how well their staff is trained to handle any issues that come their way. I can happily recommend Terrain at Styer's to anyone who is thinking about booking this venue.

Had our wedding here this past weekend and for any couples considering it, all I can say is...Do it! Terrain was absolutely the right decision and we can't imagine having done our wedding anywhere else. The staff is attentive, organized, detailed and kind. The food and beverage offerings were incredible. The team at Terrain made our vision come true and we have heard from so many guests that they had a spectacular time. The best compliment was from my father-in-law who said that the wedding seemed like it cost 2-3xs what we spent just because of how beautifully everything was put together.

I can’t even explain how glad I am that I had my wedding here. It’s was the first and only venue my husband and I visited and we knew immediately we wanted to get married here. It’s BEAUTIFUL and so cozy and cute. It’s definitely not everyone’s vibe (I feel like most people like a huge ballroom) but if you was something more cozy and low key this is perfect. It’s inside outside all day with a fire pit and s’mores later in the night! The scenery is so cute. Flowers and plans everywhere making the most beautiful photos. Terrain really knows their shit. Everything ran so smoothly I didn’t have to think about a thing. Courtney was our contact and helped us during the planning. She was great!! The food here is amazing. That’s another reason we loved it. SO many good options and so much better than the usual boring wedding food. All of my guest really enjoyed it. If I were to do it all over again I would choose this venue again. Highly recommend!!

If you're looking for a smaller wedding venue with a whimsical garden vibe, look no further. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the entire terrain team helps make your wedding dreams come true.

We had an amazing experience at terrain. Something that was really important to us was the food. We wanted it to feel like one of our dinner parties but with all of our friends. The dining room was beautiful and the courses were amazing. All of our guests raved about how good the food was - specifically the mushroom soup and the braised short rib! We also served the duck, and people said it was good, but the braised short rib and mushroom soup got the best reviews. You get to choose six passed appetizers, we picked the lobster roll, beef tartare, watermelon poke, cucumber gazpacho shooter, Brie and pear flatbread, and the broccoli with puffed quinoa. You also get to choose three desserts, we chose the cream puff, the crème brûlée, and the vegan cookie dough ball. We honestly wish we could have chosen more desserts they were all so good. Allison was our event coordinator and she was so on top of it. She made sure everything was perfect, and she worked with our wedding planner to coordinate a lot of things we were too busy to deal with. They know what they’re doing at terrain - they meet with you 6+ times (like every month 6 months before your wedding) and they have surveys and an online portal to keep track of everything. They also do things like set aside snacks and drinks for you in the mushroom house for after the ceremony so you can take a moment to eat before you see your guests again. It’s the little details like that that made us feel like we were in good hands. We liked that the venue came with bartenders, food, and a beautiful temple. We were also able to do a rose petal toss as we proceeded down the aisle and it was beautiful. I’m sure not all venues allow that, but because rose petals are biodegradable, they were allowed. Our tasting was in February for our May 29th wedding, and it was super fun. We opted to add the lavender lemonade because it was really good at the tasting but when we had it at the wedding it was super bitter. I don’t know if I’d recommend the lemonade after our experience if I’m honest. The timing of the day 4:30 to 10 was perfect. We weren’t too tired at the end of the night. We could get there at 2:30 for photos. And they let you have a rehearsal there the day before. Ours was at noon. We dropped off our alcohol and some decor the day before. You can’t get ready at the venue which is a little bit of a hassle, but you can get dressed there. The one thing to note about terrain is that they do *not* have a good bad weather plan if you have a guest list over ~30 people. Basically if it rains and you can’t be outside, your ceremony is moved into the hot house which can only fit like 30 people. We were so nervous about the weather for weeks in advance because we knew that we had a ton of people coming in from out of town and if the weather was bad only 30 of them would get to see the ceremony. Not only that but a lot of our details relied on being outdoors (a cotton candy vendor, yard games, our 75 guests, the evening fire pit with s’mores, and some people do sparkler send offs). I love terrain and we were lucky to have perfect weather, but if you are an anxious person you might want to pick a venue that has a better back up ceremony spot that can fit everyone. Good weather is a huge detail that you can’t control that I didn’t think about until about 6 weeks before the wedding.
