The personable and interactive calls and countless communication made us feel terrific about changing our date and planning our wedding from across the country. s, naturally rustic venue. Our guests LOVED the layout of the venue, and commented several times on how spacious it was while still feeling intimate. I also had real peace of mind knowing that if the weather had been bad the day of, I had a built in contingency plan. The food is a 10/10- Nothing like traditional wedding food. I'm still dreaming about the short rib and polenta and mini lobster rolls. We also enjoyed a lot of flexibility within our budget being able to bring our own alcohol. The cost of the venue was well worth it given everything that was included (i.e. tables/chairs, all glassware, bar mixers, card box, table numbers, runners, etc.). That being said, the BEST part of working with Terrain was our event manager Carla, and her manager Eileen. Carla handled everything, from fielding questions from my family members during the planning process, to making sure my bar signage and place cards were set up the day of. She kept our wedding party on task during our rehearsal and made sure my husband and I had moments throughout our wedding day to enjoy our own wedding, rather than getting swept up in all the excitement. After the ceremony, we were ushered back to the mushroom house where we had a whole tray of appetizers and our signature drink waiting for us to enjoy while we soaked in the first few minutes of being married. I essentially felt like I had built-in wedding planner while working with them. If you are considering working with Terrain, this review should be your sign to just do it. I almost wish I could get married again just to celebrate there once more :). Thank you, Carla and Terrain for such a perfect day!

in making sure our Bride, Groom and guests had an amazing experience. We all did. Now a week out from the wedding, everyone is still talking about how PERFECT the wedding was. The vendors used were all from the Terrain preferred list and they were amazing as well - flowers done by the Terrain Team, Pat and Stuart the Photographers and Anders the musician/DJ got RAVE reviews. The food was incredible. I could go on and on and on. Needless to say, it is without reservation that I would recommend Terrain at Styer's. I know the Bride will leave a super glowing review as well, when she gets back from their honeymoon.

Only call out is that it's BYOB which was a bit of a pain picking up/dropping off. You can even source design/florals internally through their Design by Terrain team.

to stay really simple with decorations and it still looks amazing. I decided to DIY all of our decorations including a furniture set-up and terrain was so accommodating. Everyone on the staff is kind and invested in your day at every step of the way. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the venue, staff, and food!

The staff allowed us to have a unique unity ceremony (there was intentional fire!) and made sure everything went perfectly. The decorations and general atmosphere were stunning and fit our vintage vibe. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We had it served family style which made the dinner more intimate and casual (which we wanted). The temple where the ceremony was held was beautiful and rustic, and it led to a perfect picture at the end of the night when it was all lit up. The night ended with a sparkler send off which was beautiful and fun (I highly recommend). The staff at Terrain are amazing and knowledgeable, and they will answer any and all questions (Thanks, Carla!!). Terrain made the vendor and food planning a breeze. I would love to have another event here in the future!

. The food was amazing and they offered creative and delicious options. The BYOB option allowed us to customize drink choices to our guests. We had a smaller guest count (~40) and I was worried the space might look empty. The team did a great job at arranging everything from the tables to the bar so that everything looked great! ry rustic vibe which was perfect for me and my fiancé. On the wedding day, the terrain staff were great. They helped coordinate everything and made me feel less anxious. However, there's a couple things I wanted to note. My wedding day menus said Sunday when it should have said Saturday. Also, a few of my guests said that they wish the staff passed around more hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. I would recommend terrain to anyone looking for a smaller more intimate wedding. My guest count was about 85 and it was perfect. Overall, the food was great and the venue was gorgeous.

The planning process leading up was very organized and thorough, I didn’t feel the need to hire my own wedding planner - their services were beyond sufficient for us. All of our guests raved about the food. We also found it to be relatively affordable compared to other venues we had been interested in and was perfect for our smaller wedding.

ing from a venue that hosts multiple weddings nearly every weekend out of the year. When we had our first walk-through at Terrain, our main concern was the outdoor ceremony space being located next to an active driveway. We were assured that on the day of our wedding that the driveway would be blocked off to traffic. That was NOT the case on our wedding day. Two minutes after our ceremony started, a truck came down the driveway, parked right next to where the ceremony space was, and loudly idled for nearly the whole duration of the ceremony. No one from the Terrain staff went to tell the truck to leave or at the very least to turn off their engine until the ceremony was over. We have no idea why a truck was even allowed into the driveway during the ceremony. My husband and I both feel that this is completely unacceptable for this to have happened and are extremely discouraged that it did. We will not be able to use the audio from our ceremony because the truck drowned out most of it. We will never be able to get that moment back. Another thing that was lacking was the communication day of. After we finished our ceremony, my husband and I were told to go into the Mushroom House (the bridal suite on site at Terrain) until our photographer came to get us for family pictures. Nearly a half hour went by where no one knew where we were. Thankfully, our photographer managed to find us; he told us that no one communicated anything to him about where we were. We then had to rush through our family pictures before dinner started. There was little communication throughout dinner as well; both our maid of honor and best man had no idea when they were supposed to give their speeches and they had to squeeze them in after dinner was over. We feel as though there should have been better communication from a venue that does weddings so regularly. Although the venue itself is stunning, the Terrain staff was nice, and the food was fantastic, we feel as though the cons far outweigh the pros. There are things that should not have happened, and after the amount of money that we spent to have our wedding at Terrain, we are frustrated that they did.

in was actually the first and only venue we visited - it was a no brainer after seeing the space and chatting with her! Once the wedding planning actually started (after an amazing night for the tasting!), Eileen was great. She answered any and all questions promptly, was so thorough and so nice to chat with. By the time the day of the wedding came, I was a jumble of nerves. Eileen, Carla and Isobel were so sweet and kind, thinking of all the small details. Eileen kept the entire night on schedule and took away all the stress, Isobel (the bridal attendant) really never left my side and was so helpful and kind, and Carla helped make the venue look so beautiful. I did DIY decorations and had a some friends come early to help set them up as we were taking pictures before the ceremony. My friends told me after that Carla (and really the whole team) went above and beyond to help them with setting up too! Since the wedding, my family and friends have not stopped talking about how beautiful the venue is, how friendly all the staff is, and how delicious the food was. It was truly a perfect evening thanks to terrain and the amazing team!

She was with us every step of the way - I felt like I could email her anything. We felt extremely cared for throughout the entire process up until when our wedding reception ended. We both trusted Courtney with all of her recommendations and she did NOT disappoint or let us down in the slightest. The day of, Courtney and the Terrain team were POWERHOUSES. We honestly felt like the most important people in the world - whatever we needed, we got - I even had a slight freak out about the neon sign I brought in (it was missing the power cord) and Courtney had her staff on the phone with Target to see if they had any cords in stock ( I MEAN COME ON! - how amazing is that? ) Luckily somehow she found one on site which put my mind to ease immediately. I will never forget the amazing staff and especially Courtney, and how cared for, me and my now husband, felt that day. They contributed to, if not made, our day feel even more special than we ever could have imagined. We will forever be grateful for the staff and that we chose to have our wedding at Terrain in Glen Mills.

They all work together to really make sure your day is seamless. If there were any hiccups in the day, we really wouldn’t know because of how on top of things the venue staff were! This venue is great for anyone who has family members who have disabilities/trouble walking/wheelchairs. The food… the FOOD was dynamite. Living in NYC for 6 years ruined our taste buds in a good way so we had to have the best food on our day. The apps were all delicious (if on the menu- shrimp and grits, tuna poke, Philly cheesesteak were all winners!) We’ve been to soooo many weddings where the dinner is untouched/half eaten/uncooked chicken/cold or the steak tastes like chicken and well let’s just say people ate the whole dinner or doggie bags were sent home… not thrown away. All the guests raved about the food for days after the wedding. Courtney was an amazing coordinator! She answered all of our questions and made it fun to “plan our wedding”. Every phone call was easy. She took the stress away. Terrain gives you a timeline to stay on which is really beneficial. On May 8th, during our vows we had rain come down and Terrain had umbrellas for our guests. The service was impeccable and have no negative comments, only positive! Bartenders and servers were on point. We wish we could relive this day everyday! (not just on video haha)

Everyone was so kind and helpful and answered all of my 127000 questions. We were actually supposed to get married last August 2020 but had to move our date to July 2021 because of COVID, and Terrain was very accommodating to our needs and throughout the re-planning. All of our guests raved about the service, food, and how the day went by so seamlessly.

Thank you for coordinating my whole day flawlessly & easing all my anxieties. And HUGE shout out to ISABEL!!! Omg - best bridal attendant a girl could hope for. The venue at Glen Mills is breathtaking-you won’t be disappointed by the photos you’ll capture or the backdrop you might select for your ceremony. There are only best case options! She’s good at her job. 2 weeks before the wedding my husband got covid and as you can imagine, it was a very emotional time but terrain was incredibly flexible and understanding and they worked with us to postpone shortly after. Some might think it’s pricey but in life you get what you pay for and you truly get good quality service and food here. I’d recommend it to anyone and people have already inquired about it since posting some of the beautiful pictures. My guests are still talking about how dreamy it was.

planning. Our coordinator Kristin was very knowledgeable and made me feel so much less stressed during the whole planning process. The venue was very accommodating, they nailed our signature cocktails and added hot chocolate for the ceremony last minute since it was a chilly day. The food was also amazing, we still have guests say that it was one of the best wedding dinners they’ve ever had (and one of the best weddings they attended in general). The bridal suite attendant was the best, she brought us over appetizers from the cocktail hour and kept people out of the bridal suite after the ceremony so that my husband and I could catch a breath before the reception started and she even helped me and my bridesmaids with my bustle. The décor, the space, the lights, and the firepit with smores made the atmosphere very cozy and magical, which was perfect for a late fall wedding. I cannot thank everyone at Terrain more for making our wedding day unforgettable.

d in July we decided to cancel due to Covid. I was devastated, but we chose to have a microwedding with our immediate family and bridal party instead of postponing. We found Terrain and when we went to visit, the sadness of cancelling our Savannah wedding went away. Terrain was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff kept everything running smoothly. We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful October day where we could have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all outside. It was the perfect night. Working with Kristin was extremely easy. She was knowledgeable and was able to execute our vision of what we wanted perfectly. We can’t wait to go back and visit this beautiful place!!

We were unlucky to have our wedding during what is still the thick of the Corona Virus but the staff was very understanding and quick to respond to our concerns. Eileen was our Event Manager and she really did a great job getting us through everything. My wife and I were very happy with how things turned out. Go there for a visit and I am sure you will see what we are talking about!

rrain(because it’s absolutely gorgeous and that’s been my dream venue if I ever did anything in the states) just to see what can be done (in all honesty, we were assuming nothing this year with it being super close to our desired date). I first worked with Kelsey who was absolutely fantastic. Professional, understanding, kind, knowledgeable and extremely responsive. She welcomed my husband and myself and literally worked so hard to get us a date close to our original and always kept us in mind with all the moving pieces. We got September 12 2020 which was absolutely perfect (the day was literally perfect even down to the weather). We then worked with Eileen who, just like Kelsey, is seriously the sweetest, easiest going, professional, understanding, kindest, and most responsive person we’ve ever worked with. Planning a wedding is seriously a pain- cancelling it, rescheduling and planning it again during a pandemic is just a nightmare. Eileen and her team literally took so much stress off my when it came to planning the wedding there. The process was as painless as it gets but the biggest thing why I say terrain is amazing is because they literally built a wood floor and got a tent at no extra charge for couples when the state of PA decreased indoor gatherings so couples have the option of an outdoor wedding rather than postpone or cut people (honestly terrain is SO beautiful so having it outside and under lights was amazing). I literally haven’t heard of any other venue to do that. Other brides and friends that I know who got married in 2020 have told me nightmares about their venues- from charging them a transfer fee for a different date due to a pandemic because the venue isn’t doing any type of accommodating for outdoors- to telling them if they’re outside regardless of meeting the PA guidelines, they can’t dance because people aren’t 6 feet away & there is no money reimbursement. Terrain as a business is how a business should be run. They do right by their clients especially when things are out of everyones control like they are this year. Our wedding was seriously amazing. Not many people this year can say they had the wedding of their dreams- we did. Our guests who’ve never been there LOVED it and those who have been were so pumped we told them where it was. We don’t need to have another wedding next year. Terrain literally made our dreams come true. We were extremely fortunate enough how the cards fell for us. I can’t stress enough how much they are the perfect choice. From the staff, to the food, to the decor, to the ambience- it’s so perfect. I can’t say enough “thank you’s” to Kelsey, Eileen, and the entire staff at Terrain who made our day so perfect. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Terrain's response (quickly communicating with all couples about how they planned to handle these restrictions, as well as our options) really solidified that we were in amazing hands! Terrain even thought of ways to make the day safer than we had not considered, such as individually plating the cheese board. Once we arrived on our wedding day, the entire day was seamless from start to finish. We especially appreciated that following our ceremony, they had two of each our our passed appetizers and glasses of prosecco for us to enjoy while we took a few minutes together as newlyweds in the Mushroom House. Our 20 guests were beyond impressed with the venue, the staff, and the attention to detail. Terrain will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful to have celebrated our marriage with them! We'd like to especially thank Kristin for her calm professionalism.

g, the governor announced the 25 person capacity limitation for indoors, Terrain worked with us to make our day happen. We eventually held our whole wedding outdoors. Everything was so beautiful and romantic. The food, decorations, the vibe was perfect. It kind of made us forget that we were in a pandemic. Words can’t really express how grateful me and my husband are. Everyone that attended the wedding gave so many positive feedback. They made the situation be oh so less stressful, and was great in communication as well. We will recommend anyone who is planning to get married to do so at Terrain!

Every single guest from my wedding personally told me how good everything they ate was. I honestly can’t say enough and am beyond grateful that we chose Terrain!

You guys made me feel heard and understood through the whole process. Highly recommend!!!!

dding with a guest count of 30. We wanted something small and intimate. The design team and coordinators set up meeting times so that you can come in and talk about your vision. They are very good at answering all of your questions via telephone or email. Very professional and reliable. I recommend hiring the design team for your flowers and details because they know the space and the vision you are capturing, as well as offer their own recommendations. Because the Terrain does their own catering, you only have to pick out the menu choices. Their food is delicious! Everyone was satisfied, especially the bride and the groom. So with the catering, the design team, and the coordinators, I didn't have to do one thing on my big day. I arrived on site an hour before the wedding for photos, walked down the isle, and danced the night away. The staff also clean up and gather your things for you. Terrain makes any wedding feel very special. My favorite thing was that you can have open flames so the night was lit by gold candlelight. We got married surrounded by hanging lanterns and candles on the floor. It was perfect for a February wedding. Magical and cozy and warm. I did not want the night to end.

cussions and meeting with Kelsey to all of the rest of the planning details with Kristin, and working with Katie and the Design by Terrain team for flowers, they left no detail unturned. Our guests are still telling us what an amazing time they had and how much they enjoyed the venue. It's been perfectly described as rustic yet elegant. When we were looking for a venue, besides availability on our timeline, the food was a big consideration. A bigger wedding definitely wasn't my husband's thing so his biggest ask was that we have good food, and not just food that's pretty good for wedding food. Well, he got his wish, and we keep hearing the same feedback from our guests. They have so many options to chose from you can really customize your menu to your liking. The bartenders were also amazing, and the BYOB was an added perk as we were able to build a bar to our liking. The actual venue itself is so beautiful. We had our ceremony inside the garden shed and the atmosphere could not have been more perfect. The staff expertly transitioned from the ceremony to cocktail hour which flowed right into dinner and dancing. The Design by Terrain team was great in making suggestions to help us add to the beauty of the garden shed with additional flowers and centerpieces. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us and it rained all day, but it didn't even bother us one bit! Thankfully we were able to use the greenhouse for our first look where we got some really beautiful pictures. And we got some awesome night shots in the rain (thankfully Amazon came through with the clear umbrellas two days before the ceremony). The property was so lovely for photos with or without rain. Terrain provided a list of vendors they have worked with in the past and we took advantage of the list. We could not be happier with our photographer, DJ, and hair/makeup vendors. Excellent recommendations. Finally, what has stood out to me as the most special moment of the day was the use of the Mushroom House. After our ceremony was over, my husband and I went to the Mushroom House alone and had a few minutes to ourselves. We read the wedding vows we had written for each other. This moment stands out to me as something I will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives together.

own...from ceremony to last dance! Our 110 guests were seamlessly guided from the ceremony to the cocktail reception and on to dinner. The servers were gracious and their timing perfect. The food was wonderfully prepared and our family style dinner format made for a fun experience. The charm of the Garden Shed was very special. Makes me wish I had another daughter to do it again!

ator Kristin helped make our dream come alive! She was always available to answer any question and made sure it all went off without a hitch. Our guest's were blown away with the ambiance of the space and the menu was equally as impressive. We also had such a great experience with the bartender, Joe. He went above and beyond throughout the whole evening! Thank you, Terrain and Staff for making our wedding celebratory dinner so special!

ughout the reception, with the kitchen staff, she was AMAZING and kept me sane when we were running behind and storms were threatening our photos/ceremony. I am a dancer and was worried about the floor being difficult to dance on, but we had no issues! My father and I even successfully salsa danced for our Father/Daughter dance. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for, make sure you get those with your desserts lol.

All of our guests kept coming up to me and my husband to tell us that they've never been to such a beautiful wedding, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of the support and knowledge that the staff at Styer's has! The venue even assigns couples a wedding coordinator that works one-on-one with couples to make sure the day is how you envision it. From drinks to menu to decor and day of, they guide you through and make sure things are running smoothly. Huge shout out to Schuyler, who helped make our day AMAZING! Thank you, thank you! e was an absolute dream. It was so easy to communicate with her and keep everything organized. There were times where I had the usual bridal stress about a small thing, and when I asked Kristin about it, it was no problem to take care of at all. They are all so professional and you feel you're in great hands the entire way. The food at Terrain was spectacular. The tasting provided so many excellent options and all of our guests loved and raved about the food to us afterwards. Terrain was so great with accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions. Nothing was ever an issue. Our wedding was small, with about 50 guests. We had our ceremony indoors in the Hot House and the reception in the Garden Shed. Terrain also provides s'mores by the fire pit outside, which our guests loved. We used Design by Terrain for our florals and they absolutely knocked it out of the park, with lanterns hanging overhead in our ceremony and reception space, and absolutely stunning flowers and greenery in my bouquets. Katie was so sweet and made sure everything was perfect. They did such an incredible job. Truly, everything about Terrain was just perfect and made the day so easy. We looked at a few other venues where, while they were cheaper in cost, had far more work involved in terms of coordinating everything, setting up the space, taking care of vendors, and more. Terrain was 1000% worth it for us, to just not have to worry and know everything would be perfect for our day. I truly cannot recommend Terrain at Styer's enough.

r day (around Christmas) were so lovely. We could not say enough amazing things about the team! We worked with Kristin as our coordinator, and Kelsey from the sales team. Our guests spent the whole night talking about how incredible the food was, in particular our favorite compliment, "this tastes nothing like 'wedding' food!". THAT was our exact goal, to find a venue that was rustic, simple & different, and that had food that actually tasted good. We succeeded!! We are now trying to convince all of our engaged friends to get married at Terrain so we can go back!

Super easy to work with if you need something GF or Vegan or anything at all really. The best part is that they will also be honest about what works and what doesn't. The chef will not do something unless he knows that he's got it down perfectly. Everyone loved the food and didn't even realize that it was a mostly vegan/GF wedding (we wanted to keep our footprint low!). Our event manager Kristin was incredible - always available and always a pleasure! She really went above and beyond to make me and my family feel comfortable. Every single person at our 75 person wedding was amazed by everything. The location, attention to detail, food and staff. As were we. I didn't know what to expect when I started wedding planning but Kristin and her team helped settle my nerves and were always available for any questions I had (and there were many) - never making me feel like I was too much. Thank you so much Kristin and team! You are all so incredible!

t is not an understatement. Everyone in the staff was courteous and knowledgeable about drink and food being served. The timeline created went off without a hitch! Even my grandparents were on the dance floor loving life after dinner. Presentation is really key when it comes to Terrain. I can’t say enough about how the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It truly was my vision transformed into reality! I was so stress free with the entire day, which means a lot considering the build up to this one day. The mushroom house was so chic and cute with our own attendant, we were never asking for anything - felt like royalty! The food was amazing -5 star. Our guests could not stop raving about the entire wedding experience and I am forever grateful to the Terrain team for making my wedding day so magical.

I have a wedding planning background but I decided to kick back and relax throughout the process and hired the venue and its design team to do everything. The process was amazing from beginning to end, Kristen from the event group and Katie from the design team were stellar. I was not stressed at all, not even a little bit and that was due to their professionalism and communication throughout the process. The only thing we brought the day of was the alcohol, a card box, place cards, and photos of loved ones who could not be with us. Regan was our bridal attendant day of and she was so sweet, attentive, and hustled when she had to. I may be a little bias but it was hands down the best wedding I've ever been to. I highly recommend this venue and its design team!

ay of... it was a wonderful experience. The Terrain team made us feel special from day 1. It felt like we were there top priority at ALL times. The food tasting was awesome!! We shared this with both sets of parents, which was really nice to have them involved in the wedding planning. We were able to try the food a few months before our wedding. Terrain incorporated the tastes of the season for our fall wedding, it was perfect!!!!!! We met with our Terrain team a few weeks before the wedding to decide on the details of everything, this was perfect for us, and really helped us trust our coordinator and the team to make our day extremely special. The design team nailed it! With very limited direction they made our venue and decor exactly what we wanted (even though we didn't know what we wanted). The team was great to work with!!! Our coordinator was the best!!! They helped us with everything. We did not have a single worry the entire weekend. Our guests are still talking about how magical the wedding was. The elegance and warmth of the venue really showcased our love! Food was incredible, tailored to our tastes and the season, was spectacular! Our guests loved the family style option, so they could try everything! Terrain also provided gluten free options to our guests with allergies or food preferences. Was very nice for them to do this. Outside wedding was very special with the sunset in the background. Pictures before and after the ceremony are incredible. The scenery for pictures is jaw-dropping!!!! Terrain at Styer's - you all nailed it! We could not have asked for a better team to work with or a better venue. Absolutely breath taking! THANK YOU!!!!
