Linda and her staff at the Terrell House made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We filled all 16 rooms and she managed all of it exceptionally. The rooms were perfect for first look photos and the bride and groom dressing photos and the courtyard was perfect for our family photos. Breakfast each morning was delicious - the best in the city.
I have also stayed there on other weekends and received the same level of service and attention. We will be staying here again and recommending it to all visitors to New Orleans.

My family loves Terrell House and although we did not have our wedding here, we made it our home base for the weekend. My bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready in the Balcony Suite and Terrell House provided an amazing brunch and mimosas, it was so fun to spend time with my closest friends and mom in such a beautiful space. I also really wanted to take our wedding portraits and our first look here and they were so accommodating and gracious of this request. The photographs are absolutely stunning and it was the perfect location. I can't recommend Terrell House enough, whether you are looking for a wedding venue or a place to stay when visiting New Orleans.

The Terrell House was an excellent choice for our wedding and stay! We rented out the entirety of the bed and breakfast for the weekend of our wedding day! Anica, the coordinator, Alex, the chef, and ALL the staff were incredible. Linda was by far the best she worked with us to achieve our dream wedding and she went above and beyond for us. My wife and I will always be eternally grateful for all that was done for us. If you have the opportunity to host your own wedding here don’t hesitate!

Terrell House is an absolutely beautiful place. My husband and I had our wedding here October 9, 2021 and it was one of the best experiences. We knew as soon as we walked in we wanted our special day to be here. From day one Linda was so helpful and accommodating. When we arrived to stay at Terrell House Annika was there to guide us through the process and was so super helpful with EVERYTHING. From the set-up, rehearsal, finding a babysitter for my youngest, the food, the band... just everything went so smoothly on our special day. I would absolutely recommend Terrell house as a venue, the Bridal suite is beautiful. Looking out from the balcony was my absolute favorite. I can not wait to go back and stay there!

The Terrell House was a wonderful venue for our wedding. The food was great, the staff was great, and Linda was great to work with. The site is beautiful and they did a great job on the flowers. We have received many compliments on the site. We had a wonderful wedding despite dealing with Covid and a little rain.

The Terrell House B&B was the most amazing venue and the perfect choice for our destination wedding. I cannot say enough positive things about the property, location, amenities, catering and most importantly, the staff. I worked with Ms. Linda over the phone and by email prior to a site visit. She offered fantastic suggestions for vendors and was a delight to work with. If possible, the B&B is more impressive in person and we were thrilled with our choice. It is seriously a stunning venue and offered a fantastic New Orleans experience. One of the best parts is that we were able to rent out the entire B&B for our guests which really added to the overall wedding experience. The rooms are amazing and no detail is overlooked. Ms. Linda has impeccable taste and has done a fabulous job decorating the mansion. EVERYONE was impressed, and I do mean every single guest that I spoke to mentioned how amazing the venue was. They also made sure to comment on the quality and taste of the food not only during our reception, but each day at breakfast. Ms. Linda and her staff, especially Ms. Nika, went above and beyond to assist myself and my family during our stay. From helping my parents secure airport transportation to making sure my son's allergies were being considered, the staff truly took care of us. Ms. Nika even got us food during our reception and then wrapped it up for us when we were swept away for another photo obligation. (She is an angel!) The personalized, professional service they offered was not only sincerely appreciated, but such a rarity these days. The Terrell House B&B holds a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to return.

My fiance and I booked the Terrell House without ever stepping foot on the property. (We're from Wisconsin) It is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos! Linda answered all of our questions and was a great communicator. Nika helped us when we arrived and she was so sweet to help me with my dress, time our ceremony, and help everything go smoothly. A gorgeous venue with fantastic staff. Thank you!

My goal was to have an outside wedding, and I loved the look of a courtyard. I wanted to find a location that would look good even with a tent if it rained. I searched all over New Orleans and Terrell was the perfect match for the look I wanted and my budget. The house fit all of my family to stay for the weekend, the food was incredible, and working with Linda made everything a breeze! She was very honestly with pricing and was always willing to work with us on literally everything! Such as, I didn’t order flowers for the tables because of my budget, but my mother-in-law was able to send them over from the rehearsal dinner to the Terrell house for the wedding where Linda stored and dressed them with up with leftovers from my bouquet. Linda and the staff went above and beyond to make the wedding day amazing. I would love to come back and stay in the house for an anniversary. Thank you so much!

We had the honor of getting married and having our reception at the Terrell House on 10/21. Miss Linda, the owner, is the most accommodating and lovely person to work with. Not only did she help us with the planning process and respond to every crazy stressed out wedding planning email I had for over a year, but she made our wedding more beautiful than even we imagined it could be. The Terrell House alone is so beautiful you don't really need any decorations, but the flowers that Linda puts together herself will blow you away. I sent her a collage of pictures on my flower ideas, and what we got was so perfect, it was like she read my mind. What food we served was very important to us, and you will not be disappointed by the food here, it was exceptional, my guests are still telling me how delicious it was. I had guests tell me that the crawfish toast that Linda recommended was the best thing they have ever eaten. The rooms within the Terrell House are so put together and beautiful that you really feel like a special bride staying there on your wedding night, or getting ready the day of in one. Linda also deals with all the vendors day of, like having the cake and liquor delivered, so it was another thing that I didn't have to worry about. The level of service that you receive here is second to none, we had such a beautiful day, in the perfect New Orleans courtyard. I highly recommend the Terrell House to anyone, and cannot thank Linda enough for making our dream wedding happen.

Completely Amazing
We planned out destination wedding at the Terrell House and it was literally the most perfect day ever. Linda, Arthur and Terry were incredible. They took care of every detail for us and had a plan for everything. Arthur offered great local restaurant suggestions and attractions for our out of town guests. He helped move luggage and set up the chairs and tables for the ceremony. The food was delightful chef Shannon made us an amazing meal. Linda coordinated everything and made the most beautiful flower arrangements. I could not have been happier. I cannot wait to visit again my decision to hose a wedding here was truly the best decision ever!! I am forever grateful to Linda and her staff.

We cannot say enough positive things about this venue. Everyone there is cordial and professional. After a lot of research, my husband and I chose this venue in the Garden District because of its historical nature, quieter location, and overall beauty. We had a small party of nine for our wedding and, despite the small size, the staff and owner went to great lengths to make it feel classy and special. The owner, Linda, arranged the cake, champagne, officiant, and bouquet in advance. The terrace was cleaned and swept beforehand. We cannot wait to go back.

Our wedding was absolutely stunning in a great little part of the lower garden district. The staff at Terrell House were beyond exceptional and made sure every single detail was taken care of seamlessly. The venue is like something out of a wedding magazine- so romantic and lovely. The food was awesome, and the service we received was above and beyond. Linda O'Brien was organized and professional as well as good humoresque about some of the hiccups we had and she helped us through including helping us secure an officiant the day before because of a complication. Everything went off smoothly and we could not have been happier. The chef was also a delight to work with and the meal was beautifully executed. It was everything we could have possibly wanted plus more and I would recommend to anyone!

Linda and staff at the Terrell House were amazing to work with and really understand how to make a wedding beautiful, organized and fun! She honored all of our requests and made suggestions we had not thought of that really made the day perfect. From the menu, flowers and presentation to the smallest detail, the Terrell house is the PERFECT place for a New Orleans wedding. The interior is simply gorgeous and the pictures show that!

I just had my wedding at the Terrell House two weeks ago and it truly exceeded my expectations. Miss Linda (the owner) worked hand in hand with me for a year to make sure my dream wedding was executed to perfection.
I chose the Terrell House because I wanted a beautiful courtyard wedding and I liked the idea of having my family and closest friends stay with me in the days leading up to the wedding. Linda was also the only venue vendor I spoke with who thought about value and how we could make things cost LESS. That was an absolute breath of fresh air because the other venues I talked to were the opposite!
Our stay at the Terrell House ended up being so special and wonderful. Every room that my guests stayed in served their needs perfectly. My room had ample space for me to get ready on my wedding day, my parents' room (the gold suite) made them feel like royalty, my sister and her kids stayed in a suite with room for her 5-person family! Even before my party "took over" the Terrell House we met some other lovely guests at the breakfast table who I will never forget.
Linda is a wedding expert with incredible taste. I trusted her to handle the floral arrangements and the catering, which both received rave reviews from my guests. I'm still dreaming of Chef Shannon's delicious shrimp and grits, which were out of this world. The flower arrangements were lush and vibrant, just how I wanted them. All of Linda's staff is also extremely warm and professional. These people are just AMAZING at what they do.
The only thing I will caution is that Miss Linda handles many events a year, so sometimes she is not quick to respond via email or phone. This was a little difficult for me at times being a "wound up" bride, but I can assure you she is on top of everything and once your wedding is the next one you will receive 100% of the full staff's attention to tend to your every need. Miss Linda was also extremely accommodating with any issues that came up along the way and I very much appreciate that!
I give the Terrell House my full endorsement for a gorgeous courtyard wedding. My guests are still raving about how beautiful it was and I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Terrell House!

Ours was a destination wedding, so I had only met Linda once before we came down for the ceremony. We communicated over the phone and via email, and the other reviews are right- she truly does put brides at ease! We had no worries, and everything turned out perfectly. Accommodating, friendly, and caring staff!

The Terrell House is a beautiful mansion with a lovely staff that made our dream wedding come true. We chose NOLA as a destination wedding and when we found The Terrell House, Linda (owner) told us she could arrange an "all-inclusive' package for us. I can't say enough about how easy and fabulous our wedding was and all because Linda and her staff took the time to make everything beautiful. Linda and Annikia made all the flowers (bouquets and centerpeices) and they were phenomenal. The food for the reception was incredible and the atmosphere of the courtyard was delightful. Our guest from Florida, Pennsylvania, and Georgia thought the entire wedding and 4 day stay at the Terrell House was perfect. Our wedding party stayed with us at the home and we were catered to by the staff the entire time. We are so grateful for our time spent there and the friendly reception.

We planned my daughter's wedding from out of town. We had both her wedding and reception at The Terrell House. We also utilized every guest room for our family, which was convenient and recieved wonderful reviews. The entire process was handled in the most understanding and professional way. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The location is convenient to the French Quarter, downtown and uptown as well. It's safe and on the famous Magazine Street. The house is exquisitely decorated with period pieces but still warm and welcoming. Amazing artwork.
The staff has been with her for years and works seamlessly together. They are very professional and helpful. The food was wonderful. She welcomes outside vendors but we were thrilled with her catering. We kept throwing curve balls and she took it all in graceful stride.
The flower arrangements that she does are beautiful. We went with another florist but wish we had utilized that service as well. (The Bed and Breakfast itself is always decorated with fresh flower arrangements.) The courtyard was gorgeous and complete in itself with landscaped potted plants and flowers. The guest rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated.
We highly recommend the Terrell House for special events. Our family is looking forward to a speedy return!

Linda O'Brien at The Terrell House is a dream to work with. I'm a longtime resident of New Orleans and a member of the hospitality industry. I had access to and knowledge of dozens of exquisite wedding venues and couldn't be happier with choosing The Terrell House.
The house is renovated, charming, clean, and beautifully decorated with amazing artwork and furniture.
The food was my favorite part. Linda catered our Jazz Brunch reception with amazing things like shrimp and cheese grits, sausage frittata, tomato/fresh basil and caramelized onion tarts, and spinach muffins. The crowd favorite (other than the shrimp and grits) was the crème brule French toast with crème fraiche.
We rented all of The Terrell House guest rooms for family which was convenient and fun. There was a suite for my mom and dad with a sitting area which became a great meeting place. I had complete confidence in Linda and her team which made the whole event a breeze. Her calm and helpful approach kept us all happy and carefree. The venue is beautiful, the courtyard is perfect and the team is a joy. A bride could feel confident picking this venue even sight-unseen.
