I had an amazing experience at Terry Costa. As a plus-sized bride, they did have a smaller selection than I would've liked but I still found my perfect dress there. Ms. Vera was my consultant and she is the absolute BEST! She was so helpful and asked all the right questions to help me pick the most beautiful dress. By the time I went to Terry Costa, I had been to 5 or 6 other bridal salons and was getting frustrated that I hadn't found anything. Ms. Vera was hands down the best consultant I worked with and I hope Terry Costa knows what a gem they have.

Loved our experience at Terry Costa! Natalie T. helped me select several wedding gowns and even a few wild cards that my friends chose. She was very professional and listened to my likes/dislikes to find my perfect dress. Natalie also happened to be in store when my dress came in and helped me with my try on before leaving with my wedding dress!

I had Jade as my consultant and she was great! Very nice and accommodating. She made me feel like a bride and made me feel comfortable. She gave great suggestions as well as listened to what I was looking for and we were able to find a beautiful dress that I love. She did make me feel rushed which I liked and she kept offering to go look for more and more gowns for me which I thought was sweet of her to do. I had to stop her because she found so many good ones. She always asked me how I was feeling and made sure I was okay throughout the entire appointment. I would definitely recommend Terry Costa to brides looking for their dress.

I got married in October 2020 and found my dream wedding dress at Terry Costa a month before COVID hit, and they were wonderful to work with the entire time! They have exceptional knowledge of the wedding industry and provided us with great information regarding my mom and I's dresses. My mom also found her dress at Terry Costa. I recommend calling them on the phone rather than booking an appointment online - you will get better information!

When booking my appointment, they had many key points about what they were doing for Covid precautions, so I felt comfortable in scheduling an appointment here. However, upon arrival, I was saddened to see many employees without masks (including my consultant!!) and their practice of adding wooden pins to dresses on the rack was certainly not sanitary as several other brides were touching the same gowns. I was disappointed that employees weren’t wearing masks and I regret not sticking to my guns and asking my consultant to please where one. While I did find a dress that was a strong contender, and for a great price, I ultimately purchased a dress elsewhere.

My mom and I went shopping last weekend and were able to find my dress and veil. Our store helper, Heather, listened to my preferences and was very kind to my mom and I. We wore our masks and she wore hers with us, and we appreciated all her efforts. I wanted a modest, high neckline dress for a December church wedding, and she helped me find several dresses in that style range. I clothes pinned the five dresses I saw on the rack that were in my size, style, and price range, and she helped me try them on and hang them up, all while getting an idea on what I was looking for. After I went through the five I picked, I only had one favorite that I was mostly excited about. Heather went back out to the dresses and brought back at least five she thought might work for me. To our surprise, she picked some that we apparently didn't see on the racks or I couldn't see myself in, and definitely found several winners in a row. The last dress she found for me was almost nothing like what I thought I was looking for, but she believed I'd look good in it and love it, and she was right. We ended up buying that dress, and it was $200 under my budget which was wonderful! She paired my dress with a wonderful veil, gave advice on undergarments, shoes, and jewelry, and tailors in the area to use where she felt they could give better advice on undergarments than she felt she could. Because of the virus, we hadn't been able to make much progress on wedding stuff like venues or catering, so this was our first purchase we were able to make towards our December wedding. We have no "buyer's remorse," and my mom and I are so grateful to have one thing checked off our list during these uncertain times. Terry Costa was recommended to us by a friend, and we will continue recommending Terry Costa to friends.

Terry Costa has an incredibly selection of gowns at a variety of prices. The consultants are super helpful and are great at bringing you dresses that match you. They’re wonderful at what they do and make sure you’re 100% satisfied before you purchase. I’m so happy I found my dream gown here!

I ended up not purchasing my dress from Terry Costa, but I tried on, what felt like, 50 dresses there! Liza was my consultant and she was AMAZING! She did such a great job of helping me put my thoughts into words so that she could find the perfect dress for me. She never pressured me into chosing one of their dresses, gave my family and me plenty of privacy to talk, and never got frustrated with my indecision. I do wish I had tried on some different styles with Liza because they have A TON of dresses and I feel like we could have found a dress there. However, I was exhausted so I needed a break from dresses (they did not kick us out). Liza also recommended a restaurant that was delicious! She's an all-star and I appreciate all of her effort.

I found my dream dress here about 6 months before my wedding, and I had a wonderful experience gown shopping. I had only been to one other bridal salon, so I wasn't very sure of what silhouette/fabric etc. I wanted to try, but they allowed me and my mom to go through their gowns and pick what we wanted. This took a lot of pressure off the selection process, and gave us a very flexible and relaxed experience. They helped me into each dress, gave me just the right amount of attention, and helped me truly envision myself as a bride-to-be by adding my tiara and veil of choice during try-on. They even had a faux bouquet for you to hold. Terry Costa had a beautiful showroom and walkway, and I imagine that a huge bridal party would have a great time here with their bride, just know that they don't have the champagne/mimosa treatment. They don't take appointments so I walked in on a Monday evening (I called ahead to make sure they weren't busy), and they were able to fit me in without issue and our dress shopping here only took about two hours total. My one-of-a-kind gown was very affordable (less than 1K), but I have pretty simple tastes. I wish they had an onsite tailor, but I found an awesome tailor in the Casa Linda area near White Rock Lake (Hong Kong Tailor, Kathy). If you want a seamless and easy experience with very knowledgeable and patient bridal experts, I definitely recommend stopping at Terry Costa.

I went to Terry Costa fo search for my wedding dress and was lucky enough to have Vera as my consultant. I went one day after work to scope out their inventory and hadn’t planned on trying anything on that day but she convinced me to try on a few silhouettes for a better idea on sizing and fit. That helped so much when I came back for my real shopping trip with my mother and maid of honor. She was very attentive to what I was looking for swapping out and suggesting dresses to suit my request. She helped me find the ultimate dress, veil, and headpiece. I could not be happier with how she helped me out the whole thing together. The morning I came in she had already been placed to consult a new walk in but she remembered me from the week prior and requested to swap consultants for me since she had already an idea of what I was looking for. I got the most amazing dress at an incredible price. Great selection, great service!

They had a huge selection and Taylor was wonderful in helping me find my dress! My mom went on to tell everyone “she got the best consultant.” It was a great experience and everyone there made me feel so special. The best part about Terry Costa was they actually had dresses in my size in stock to try on, making it so much easier.

I found my absolute dream wedding dress with the help of the amazing associates at Terry Costa. They were so helpful finding my needle in the haystack of all those gorgeous dresses. I could not have felt more beautiful on my big day!

My favorite place to get formal dresses!! The wait was long to try on dresses but the staff was so nice and friendly. My friend and I were accommodated to be in rooms next to each other and Caitlin helped us both out and didn’t hesitate to bring back as many dresses as we asked for until we found the perfect prom dresses, will definitely return!!:)

Unbelievable! We went to another bridal shop appointment and were totally dismayed at what we saw. We decided on a whim to to go to Terry Costa without an appointment. Taylor Baril jump right in just like we were royalty and showed us all of the dresses we picked! She was awesome. She even picked the perfect veil to go with THE dress. She said yes to the dress! Thank you Taylor from the bottom of of our hearts.

Please do not come here. I came here the other day to shop for a dress and had an all around awful experience. To start my consultant called me fat in front of my bridesmaids and future mother in law. We were all so disturbed she was so rude to us. My consultant also opened the curtain on me so I was standing there naked in front of 15 people. I was MORTIFIED! We left our appointment because the appointment got worse and worse. I have since called multiple times and left multiple voicemails for a manager with no return calls.

I stopped by Terry Costa on a whim with my mom after spending a couple of hours at another salon the day before. The experience was was definitely different with the fact of being allowed to pick out your own dresses prior to getting to the dressing room with a consultant, but this was actually very nice since I didn't want to be the center of attention. My consultant, who I shared with a couple of other girls, helped me zip, button and tie me into each dress and would add accessories. Three dresses into my visit I had found "the one" complete with veil. The dress was everything I was looking for and more!

I am so happy to write this review for Terry Costa! They have the best selection in Dallas, and surely there is something to suit all tastes! EVERYONE there is fabulous! Victoria was so sweet, patient, and kind! She listened to what I was looking for and made excellent suggestions. Having four appointments in two days made all the dresses run together, so when I went back later that night, Vera helped me say yes to the dress! I can’t wait to wear it! You will not regret visiting Terry Costa!

This was the first dress shop I tried when shopping for my wedding dress, and although I didn't end up finding my dress here, I wanted to leave a good review for Victoria! She was so patient and really helped me narrow down the type of dress that I wanted. It is a big store but she took great care of me and made the process so much more manageable!

Where to begin? Looking for a wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses is such an important task. Most every bride has probably looked at thousands of pictures and read at least that many reviews about stores, dress makers and boutiques. Some of the boutiques in DFW did not have such favorable reviews mostly for treating customers as if they are not the right size or possibly could not afford something. This was NOT the case at Terry Costa. Terry Coata welcomed my family and I with open arms and a warm smile. MEGAN!!!!! Megan went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we dreamed of. She is gracious, caring, honest, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, helpful and encouraging. Megan gave us great advice. I asked her to please be upfront about some of our picks and she did just that. She pointed out why some things would clash with others and why some would not. She did not try to hassle me on my budget or make me feel less than. I wish the world was full of Terry Costa Megans. We have had two appointments with her and a third is coming up as all of my bridal party could not come on the same day. And still Megan remains professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. We even kept her right up until 8:00 pm on a Tuesday night which is closing time. Not one time did she sigh, roll her eyes, or rush us. She made sure we had exactly what we needed and were taken care of. My daughter is going into high school in the fall and I guarantee you we will come back to Megan for all of her dress needs. I highly recommend Megan and I highly recommend Terry Costa.

My daughter had purchased her debutante gown from Terry Costa so when it came to her wedding dress, there was no doubt that we would go back. The selection is huge and their employees are well informed, experienced and delightfully engaged. We ordered the dress and it arrived damaged. Without missing a beat, the dress was reordered with rush delivery. When the second dress arrived, we started the long process for alterations. I had concerns about the seamstress from the start but I was continually being told (by the seamstress) that I just did not know anything about alterations (which I did not) But after 3 months of weekly visits (and just 6 days before the wedding) we went for the final fitting and it wad all to apparent that the dress had been butchered. My daughter was frozen with fear and I did not know what to do. So I took the dress and immediately went to Terry Costa for help. I explained the dilemna an Terry Costa asked my daughter to try the dress on for them. When they saw her in the dress,the expressions on their faces could not hide the fact that the dress was a disaster. I went to Terry Costa for advice on what to do. Instead, Terry Costa completely took charge of the situation. They quickly came up with several options on how to resolve the dress situation. And in each scenario, Terry Costa was going to manage the situation at no charge to us. I was stunned by their generosity. We chose to stay with the existing dress and attempt to have it altered again by a different tailor (Altered for the Altar) Terry Costa would both oversee the process and pay for the new alterations. Their goal was to make sure my daughter had the dress she wanted and she still loved it for her wedding. We had to go every night for most of the week before the wedding to have the dress re-altered. We did just that. And on the night of the before the rehearsal dinner we went for the final fitting. It was perfect!!!! At the wedding, she was a vision of beauty and all of the guests said she had the most beautiful dress they had ever seen. This all is because if Terry Costa's unbelievable support, caring and expertise. When it comes time to choose your dress, you must go to Terry Costa. We came in on a busy Saturday and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Their sales associate helped me define my vision (buttons down the back, simple, and elegant) and find exactly what I wanted. And it wasn't even an issue when I wanted to change the belt on the dress, because they have an incredible selection. I even found one to match my veil!

I had a great experience with Terry Costa. I went in with my future MIL and SILs to see and we had great service. I found my dream wedding dress and for an AMAZING price here! I live in, and had my wedding in, Nashville TN but I have a lot of family in Texas . After going to many stores in Nashville and struggling to find something that wasn't grossly over budget, I was excited to find Terry Costa. A few of my cousins found their dresses here and recommended them to me. They were kind and patient with my energetic loud group (1 mom, 4 aunts, an a grandma). They we helpful in selecting a dress when we needed outside opinions, and they were conscious of our budget. Highly recommend!

Yall. I cannot express how amazing my experience shopping for a bridal dress was at this store!! I started off at David's Bridal in Mesquite and had a HORRIBLE experience. Like, I'm talking being completely discouraged from shopping for a wedding dress for a good while. Never go to David's Bridal in Mesquite! I came here on the most random whim and am so thankful I did. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I was just so happy. The lady who helped me, Heather, was absolutely wonderful. She made the experience so much better! If you ever need a dress for a special occasion, this is your place and Heather is your gal! 10/10 would recommend!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I had 2 1/2 months to find a dress and, not only did I find my dress but it was under budget and STUNNING! Serenity was amazing and was so honest with me, which I loved!!

We had splendid assistance on both occasions! Staff members were all friendly and came across excited to help! Katy and Vera helped me and I would highly recommend them. The store has designer dresses and one-of-a-kinds, which I fell in love with. They had great deals and lovely discounts too! The whole process was simple and went smoothly.

Terry Costa had the perfect dress for my daughter. She knew what style she would like and found her dress quickly and the staff at Terry Costa, from Ann to Natasha, were very helpful. The dress came in early and Natasha walked us through all of our alterations and steamed the dress twice for pictures and the actual wedding. I highly recommend visiting Terry Costa for your bridal needs, especially during a trunk show, if you know the designer you would like to purchase from, as it helps make things more economical in the end.

I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses here! They were very helpful when trying to find the right dress for me and ensuring that I stayed in my budget. The dress got me a discount on the bridesmaid dresses which was appreciated! They are conveniently open every day, but avoid Saturdays around prom if possible.

Buying a wedding dress has never been so easy. I felt so beautiful from the minute I put the dress on. Being a plus sized, curvy girl it is hard to find dresses in my size let alone find wedding dresses to try on. But the staff made me so at ease and beautiful from start to finish.

I found the perfect dress at Terry Costa. It was originally about $1,100, but I got it on sale for $920 plus tax and a small shipping fee. I was impressed by their selection and range of prices. The consultants were also very friendly. After ordering my dress, it was supposed to take about 4 months to get in, but it came in after 2 weeks! I was pleasantly surprised. I did not have my dress altered at Terry Costa, so I can't speak to that part of the experience, but overall I was very happy!

Bought my dress and veil from here without any issues. The sales person was very helpful and helped me pick out dresses to try on that I never would've thought to, but I was glad she did because one of them was THE dress! Veil was beautiful as well. Went during a Mori Lee trunk show and got my dress for a great price, so I got to splurge a little on my veil. They don't do alterations in house, but do offer steaming of your dress and veil before your wedding date.

I found the dress of my dreams here. It is a beautiful Maggie Soterro Topaz dress. It has ruffles on the skirt and a sheer bodice with delicate beading. Absolutely beautiful and I got a really great deal. I could not figure out any where to buy this dress until I went here. I got my dress for 1800. It was originally around 4500. I got a steal. The reason it went down in price is because it was the last one on the floor and had some makeup on it. Nothing the drycleaners couldn't fix. :)

I bought my wedding dress from Terry Costa. I absolutely love it! Every few months I think they get a shipment of one of a kind dresses in and sell them at a discount. My dress is one of these and it is absolutely outstanding. The sales staff is so incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding. They really are experts at helping you accent your body type in a flattering way. I knew which dress I wanted. I tried on a similar dress for sizing and then they placed my order. When it came in, they handled everything. There is no need to shop any where else. These guys have it down to keep it simple and no stress.

I fell in love with my wedding dress. I originally went in with about 11 pics of dresses I found on their site, thinking they'd have them in store. Turns out that none of them were in store, but thankfully they helped me find some similar. The first dress I tried on was the dress I ended up getting. They had a great selection, and staff that knew what to pick for you. At some points it was hard to get help, as they were busy, but overall I found my dress and couldn't be happier. They have dresses to fit your budget!!

I went to Terry Costa back in December. It was the first place I went to in search for my dress and I found the PERFECT dress there! Candace Elenez helped me and actually pulled the dress herself and presented it to me. Her help and service was outstanding! The dress I bought had just been marked down from $1200 to $700 and that week there was an additional 50% off marked down dresses if I could take it as is- and the dress fit me perfectly! I got my wedding dress for $350 and did not need any alterations. It was a one-of-a-kind and I absolutely love it! I got raving reviews at my wedding and no one believed me when I told them the price. I highly recommend Terry Costa, and you can find amazing deals if you go during a sale.

Terry Costa had a good selection of dress and the ladies were very helpful. My consultant was helpful without being pushy and would allow me time to talk with my family alone while in each dress. They made my dress shopping experience stress free!

Couldn't have had a better experience! The first dress I tried on was the winner! The ladies were super helpful and honest - not just trying to make a commission! All the alterations were done a few doors down, so it kept everything nice and close!

After listening to what I was looking for, the person who was assisting me chose a dress that she thought I would like. It was the one! I went to Terry Costa when they were having a sample sale. This allowed me to buy a wedding dress that no one else IN THE WORLD would have!! It was perfect. I loved every moment I spent at this boutique.

My mom and I decided to pop into to Terry Costa just to try on styles of dresses one friday night. I was supposed to go on monday with my group to a few other shops. I ended up finding two dresses at Terry Costa that I fell in love with, and ended up picking the one the girls at Terry Costa loved the most! Vera was the one who helped me. She was very kind, and was extremely attentive. We planned our wedding in three months, and I was afraid I wasn't going to get the Bridal treatment with such short notice, and Terry Costa made me feel very special! I would absolutely recommend them!!

The first time I went to Terry Costa was to shop for my wedding gown. It was during a Maggie Sottero trunk show and I did not have an appointment. I got there early, however, and was greeted immediately after entering the store and had a consultant all to myself the whole time. Her name is Vera and she was amazing! She listened to my style ideas and pulled lots of great dresses. She was very skilled at getting me into and out of all of those hot, heavy dresses. Since Maggie Sottero does not give vendors a discount during trunk shows, I got $150 gift card to use on anything in the entire store! They also give brides and their parties 15% off any future purchases. I went back this past weekend to use my gift card for a rehearsal dress and was met with excellent service once again (my consultant was Whitnee this time and she was great too)! They also have a great selection of brands and styles. I am definitely glad that I made the trip to North Dallas to go dress shopping! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a great bridal experience.

I love love love my wedding dress. Their dresses are very pricey but the one of a kind dresses are more affordable.
