Our venue encountered many different setbacks, most notably when we realized our original date of 12/31/23 would not be available due to the clubhouse not being completed. We pushed back our date to 3/9/24 still knowing having our reception in a tent was a very viable option. What do you know, we ended up with a tented reception on that pushed back date haha. What could have been a complete nightmare turned into an actual dream with Kathryn as our planner. She far exceeded my greatest expectations and turned it into a complete dream. Tessa also used her years of experience to help us work within our budget. She helped us prioritize what was most important and found creative ways to stretch our dollars. Her connections with vendors at all price ranges were invaluable, and thanks to her, we were able to work with some of the best and top-ranked florists, photographers, musicians, caterers, rental companies, DJs, and more while staying within budget. During the wedding weekend, Tessa brought everything we envisioned to life. The welcome party we held on Friday perfectly set the tone for the weekend, and on our wedding day, Tessa was a calming presence. She managed everything behind the scenes, from coordinating vendors to addressing family inquiries, which allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in the moment. I wholeheartedly recommend Tessa to any couple. Hiring her as our planner was the best decision we made for our wedding. She was always quick to respond, so knowledgeable about literally every topic we asked her about…enough so that we were at our tasting and my husband and I couldn’t decide what we wanted so we kept saying, “Alicia, you pick” because we knew that it was going to be the best choice. I can tell you that a year later, I’m still hearing from friends and family how incredible our wedding was, and my husband and I couldn’t agree more. We had some last minute changes but we never felt like we had to worry about how the day would turn out because we knew she had it handled. I felt calmer on the day of the wedding than I ever could have imagined and that’s largely thanks to Alicia. I knew that with her running the day and our amazing team of vendors that it was going to be an incredible day. Also, the Tessa Lyn team has great relationships with tons of fantastic vendors so that was a great bonus in helping us choose the rest of our vendor team. Working with Alicia will be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make when planning your wedding. My only regret is not working with her sooner!

job creating her dream wedding. Naturally when my youngest was engaged, we booked Tessa right away. From start to finish, she kept my daughter relaxed, responded to her questions and needs right away and took the major stressors off. Tessa is incredibly creative, very respectful of our budget, has great relationships with the most reliable vendors and venues and is just an absolutely kind and caring person. This doesn’t feel like just a business to her, she’s invested in her clients, and we always felt like her priority. The wedding was 250 guests, a completely outdoor April wedding planned at a gorgeous venue (found by Tessa). Less than a week before the wedding the weather turned. Massive pivot. Tessa managed to pull off a redesign, securing the most beautiful tenting and lighting. Our guests couldn’t believe it wasn’t the original plan. So many things needed to be reconfigured, she reassured my daughter it would all be beautiful. It truly was magical. Day of, if there were any hiccups, we had no idea. Tessa and her team took care of it all. I’m still hearing from our guests about how beautiful and amazing it was. It could not have happened without Tessa and her team. My family loves Tessa and I miss my constant communication with her. She has a special place in my family’s hearts. The memories created from both weddings will always be one of the biggest highlights in our lives. We will definitely stay connected. Tessa is truly the best of the best.

I can’t forget all of the times throughout the planning process and wedding day that my husband would tell me just how in awe he was of all of the work Tessa and her team did that he didn’t even know needed to be done. Even our guests couldn’t stop telling us how amazing she was all night. Tessa never once stopped working to make sure every second of our day was a second we’d hold onto forever. We are so grateful to have not only had the best wedding planner that anyone could ask for, but to be able to call Tessa family for the rest of our lives. We love the entire TLE team so much and can only hope we’ll be lucky enough to work with them again for more family celebrations in the future!

I could've dreamed of when I was finding a wedding planner! We chose a destination wedding at the Terranea in California, and she made our entire process feel like an absolute breeze! I couldn't have done this without her. From the multiple options of vendors she provides and works closely with, to her ability to be able to recognize a venue space and how to transform it, to her creative mindset, and attention to detail, (C&C ice sculpture, cocktail napkin monograms, table setting and menus, floral placements and designs, etc.) she is top notch, I could go on and on! She has a genuine ability to visualize exactly what you want and make it happen! She made my husband and I feel so special. The day of the wedding can be stressful, however I never once felt that! s we went through the process. My husband and I didn’t know much about wedding planning or the process, so Tessa really took the time to walk us through every step. She helped guide us through the must haves, nice to haves, and what to avoid. We took a non-traditional approach to our wedding – we had micro-wedding for our actual ceremony and a large “reception” party for around 170 guests at a later date. Tessa delivered flawlessly on both. She has deep connections with a multitude of vendors and was able to present us with curated options based on the ascetic we were wanted. She presented us with the best of the best – from the hair and makeup to the cake, everything came together perfectly. Many of our guests came to us to express how much fun they had and beautiful and thoughtful everything was. I also can’t overstate how easy and seamless the actual wedding day. There are so many moving pieces, but Tessa had everything perfectly organized, I just got to enjoy (and eat!). It sounds so corny, but it was truly the best day of our lives and to say we couldn’t have done it without Tessa is the understatement of century. We are so incredibly grateful for her and her team.

dding. We wanted to do Palm Springs which is technically a destination wedding for everyone involved, but she was able to do it in the most flawless way I could have ever imagined. From day one of planning to the day of execution, she made it so easy. My bridesmaids, family, and friends all genuinely noticed how calm and collected she was, extremely detailed, punctual, and just overall perfect. She is also the kindest human I know. I am sad the wedding is over because I truly enjoyed working with her. I know my friends would love to use her when it's their time. They’re amazing like words can’t describe.

When budget became tight but we still wanted the ~extras~, Tessa was right there to help brainstorm ways we could attain my vision while still keeping in mind budget. There are so many more examples to list but what I'm trying to say is that she was our right hand throughout this process and we can't thank her enough. From a chinese tea ceremony, to rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and actual wedding and after party everything exceeded ours and our guests' expectations and we couldn't be more grateful! So many of our friends and family commented on what a great wedding planner Tessa was and how seamlessly all of the events flowed. As someone mentioned earlier, Tessa is the type of planner to get s*** done and after spending two years with her, we can honestly say she is worth every penny and then some! We love you Tessa!

I felt so utterly happy and completely at ease that everything was going to plan and that the dance floor was high energy all night! Our wedding was at my parent's home, and that meant bringing everything in, with vendors operating in a venue they weren't familiar with (with a crazy flip from ceremony to reception in our backyard in a two level home) - Alicia made sure everything was on schedule, that more than anything the "vibe" was always happy, and even scheduled in special moments that we hadn't even thought to during planning (such as a 5 min after the flip of the ceremony to reception space cleared to get shots by photog / videographers, or a private moment for the groom and me post ceremony with tray passed apps waiting for us in the master suite to catch our breath before cocktail hour, and more!). Could go on and on about all the little things that TLE added so much value to! Think 10+ guests commented that this was the best wedding they’ve been too, and that they wanted the various names for vendors to hire them for their weddings - but everything truly came all together with TLE's help with execution!! I chose to plan the wedding myself (in hindsight a rewarding/roller coaster experience, and given how amazing the TLE team was, will definitely hire their FULL planning services for our future kids' weddings!!) A perk of the month-of package was being able to tell the various vendors upon booking that we were working with TLE and I really do think that made all the difference with respect to getting the best treatment and attention. Tessa herself reviewed the vendor list we had selected and made helpful suggestions / comments! Hire TLE!! Seriously - the best and only decision a bride needs to make!!

lverware, design, and ceremony music. We hired her for not only our wedding but for four events leading up to it, and I can honestly say she made every single event an out-of-this-world experience! Yes, she planned four full events plus an after-party for us with a different theme and venue for each!! If you want your wedding planning process to be filled with ideas, organization, communication, beauty, and a get-it-done attitude, then Tessa is your girl. Everyone says wedding planning is stressful, and yes, there are tons of decisions to make, but rather than stressed, I had the most fun. Tessa helped make all the decisions enjoyable because she gave me such great options to choose from! We wanted a classic elegant wedding, but how do you do that when you also want it to be unique and something no one has ever seen? Well, Tessa helped make that happen. Planning my wedding was tough on me because my Mother passed away a few years ago, and she wasn't there to help me make all the decisions and to dream up a beautiful wedding with me. It was a difficult time planning my wedding without her here. Hiring Tessa was a blessing because I had someone I could bounce ideas off of and who helped me from A to Z. If I had an idea, I would tell Tessa, and she would incorporate it into the design. We would also brainstorm ideas together, which was the most fun. She came up with a gorgeous design deck so I could visualize what everything would look like, which was incredibly helpful, not to mention her ideas and design skills are top-notch. One of the big things that stood out to me was that Tessa is a stellar communicator. If we had a question, she was ready to answer it. If there was something I wanted some clarification on, she was there to explain it to me. We ended up having the most beautiful fairytale wedding I could ever imagine. Three weeks later, we still have people texting and calling us to tell us how incredible the wedding was and how perfectly executed everything was. As a bride, you want your wedding to be the best day of your life, a dream come true, and the most memorable time for you and your husband; with Tessa's help, you won't have to worry about a thing, and yes, you can have the fairytale. ade the entire process very easy. She was my eyes, ears and hands in LA while I was in Boston. Kathryn is the most organized, detail oriented and kind human being I have ever met. One of the things that I really appreciated about Kathryn is that she was never pushy and respected our vision for the wedding. She also kept reminding us of the importance of the budget. I am sure most brides out there can relate to budget slipping away :) If you are in the process of choosing a wedding planner, you should stop because you found the best already.
