About this vendor
Admiral Fell Inn is an idyllic hotel wedding venue overlooking the coast of Baltimore, MD. This waterfront venue provides couples with a charming and cozy wedding setting to host their friends and family. The outdoor ceremony area boasts an incredible maritime backdrop where newlyweds can capture memories of their special day. Dating back to the 18th century, this historic inn has witnessed many milestone moments, and your wedding could be the next one.
In 1730, Fell’s Point was discovered by a Quaker family from Lancaster, England. This site functioned as a shipbuilding center and a trading hub throughout the next 200 years. In the 1900s, sailors would make their way into town after a long stretch at sea. A boarding house, “The Anchorage” was erected to provide these voyagers with a safe place to rest their heads for the night. The Seaman’s YMCA soon took over this boarding house and accommodated up to 50,000 sailors every year until 1955. Thirty years later, the building was renovated and reopened under a new name, The Admiral Fell Inn. Today, this hotel takes pride in their rich history and elegant decor, reminiscent of the 18th century.
The Admiral Fell Inn is a dynamic wedding venue with a myriad of event spaces to host the celebration of your dreams. This internationally acclaimed hotel boasts a refined ballroom on the very top floor, looking out over Fell’s point and Baltimore city. This romantic rooftop lends a magical atmosphere to the moments shared with your partner, allowing both of you to feel on top of the world on your big day. For a more intimate atmosphere, the Stone Room can seat up to 60 guests. The rustic ambience of the room is reflected through the exposed brick walls. Couples can request exclusive access to the Bond Street Pier for a picturesque ceremony overlooking the water. The pier offers a panoramic view of the Patapsco River where couples can tie the knot in front of 120 of their loved ones. The cozy tavern attached to the inn is a relaxing area to spend your evening chatting to the locals and unwinding in front of a roaring fire. For an exciting night out on the town, Fell’s Point offers plenty of entertainment.
The staff at The Admiral Fell Inn strives to deliver the best experience possible to their guests. A dedicated team of professionals is on hand to assist you with every specific detail of the wedding. They cover the setup and cleanup to allow for a smooth and uncomplicated process, allowing your day to remain as stress-free as possible. The inn also provides on-site catering, and the menu can be personalized to suit a range of tastes. This inn is a fitting port from which to begin your voyage of marital bliss.

We had a fantastic Baltimore wedding experience with the Admiral Fell Inn. Our ceremony was on the Bond Street Pier (a location exclusive to couples who book through this hotel group, I believe) and the cocktail hour and reception were in the Captain's Room/Admiral ballroom. The backdrop of the harbor for the ceremony was beautiful, and we didn't end up having to get too many decorations for the reception because the venue looks fantastic on its own! Sarah was a fantastic resource throughout the entire process - I am an extremely detail oriented person and she thought of so many things that even I didn't think of. She really made our day come together seamlessly. All of the guests loved the hors d'oeuvres and our signature cocktails, which the Admiral staff went out of their way to make when I requested a special ingredient they didn't have. The staff, especially Ruth and Donna were very attentive and made sure we were having a great time the whole night. The location of this venue is also ideal, especially for a younger crowd because we were able to continue the party at the local bars after the reception was over.
Everyone was very helpful, esp Sarah & Donna. Ceremony was in the Stone Room with Cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. Service and food were very good. Selection of “Premium” alcohol was a bit disappointing in wine choices (Robert Moldavia) so if your a big wine drinker ask about something else. In hind sight, my not having a professional coordinator or decorator made logistics of getting 2 spaces outfitted more challenging than it needed to be. Stone Room is a bit dark, even in daytime and there Is limited lighting. Be sure to inform your photographer in advance
