Mikaela is willing to travel internationally for the big day and can also provide coverage for elopements and micro-weddings. Ah-mazing!
Mikaela and her wife were an AMAZING addition to my day of team! They knew exactly what moments to capture from the sweet, sensual moments from the getting ready and ceremony to the joyful, fun, loud moments from the reception. Every single team my husband and I watch out video we cry and feel like we are right back to that magical day of our two souls becoming one. If you are hesitant on getting a videographer on top of a photographer DONT BE! I’ve watched my teaser video and wedding video hundreds of times already-the incredible ability of Aiko film to capture the magic of the day was everything I hoped for! The videos brought me, my husband, and even our parents to tears, they were just stunning! I’m so thankful that we decided to budget for videography, because it was 110% worth it. I would recommend Aiko Film again and again!
Best Videographer in VA!
Mikaela was such a joy to work with! She responded to my inquiry pretty quickly and sent me an email to start the process of booking her for our wedding if we were interested. Which after watching her videos on her website and reading all the reviews we knew we wanted her to film our special day. After that we set up a phone call to go over some of the details and so we could meet each other. She is one of the nicest people and you could just tell how much passion she has for videography. About two months before the wedding she sent us a questionnaire to fill out. It was so that she would know what all is going on the day of the wedding. It not only helped her, but it helped us out too seeing everything out on paper. The day of the wedding was such a blur for us, but I do remember Mikaela checking in on us from time to time because it can be a lot in the moment. I thought that was really kind of her and am very thankful for her help the day of the wedding. Our videos came to us when she said they would and they were amazing! I cry every time I watch them. She really knows how to capture the love between two people. I highly recommend The Aiko Film Co. No doubt about it that she is one of the best in Virginia.

Mikaela did a fantastic job. She was thorough and professional but still made you feel like you were old friends every time you spoke to her. She captured our day beautifully. Her video editing was creative, sentimental, and flowed so nicely. We would definitely recommend to future friends getting married! 5/5 stars!

Mikaela was the best videographer! She went above and beyond expectations. She even got to the venue early to make sure she captured everything. When being at the wedding she was very professional and was just great! After seeing the teaser after the fact I was just in awe of how she put it together. I lost my father and she made a point to put him in the video which I never thought I would and I couldn’t be more grateful! Please please book with her she’s the absolute best. My husband and I are in love with our video and can relive the moment everyday.

Mikaela was a dream to work with!!!! She was so kind and caring from day one after reaching out and made it a point to get to know us leading up to the big day ☺️ We weren’t just another couple that hired her, it really felt more like a friend making this experience as personal as possible. She was very attentive to details and regularly reached out more than our other vendors so it gave us so much peace of mind in the middle of so much wedding planning chaos. On our big day she was wonderful to work with and captured our wedding day beautifully! Her turnaround time was so quick and she did everything possible to ensure we had the video of our dreams 🥰 we can’t thank Mikaela enough and highly recommend her!!!

Best day ever! Mikaela was amazing from beginning to end! I was worried about having both a photographer and videographer follow me around, and thought I’d feel crowded, but wow I was wrong! We very rarely felt her presence, yet she captured it all! My video was a dream come true. She is a pleasure to work with and felt like a friend from day one ☺️

Mik was a dream to work with. She communicated with us and really got to know our aesthetic and how we wanted our video to 'feel'. Before wedding videoing was easy going and fun. We didnt even notice her during the ceremony and reception, she was invisible but somehow caught everything. Not only was the entire experience seamless and pleasant, but the actual video?
