The Anderson Pavilion

I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding reception anywhere in the city but Anderson Pavilion (AP)! We looked at several options, but nothing displayed my favorite parts of the city quite like AP. You have the stunning city skyline as a backdrop, options for indoor and outdoor setup, beautiful fountain displays, and the Carousel for cocktail hour is such a unique and fun element that you can't get anywhere else - one of our guests described it as "absolutely Euphoric!" The close proximity to hotels, bars, parks and restaurants is something my out-of-town guests can't stop talking about! More than any of this, you will be in the BEST hands! Brandi was our day-of coordinator, and by the end of a year of planning, she felt more like family and my biggest cheerleader! We didn't even use a wedding planner because I knew from the moment I met Brandi that she understood my vision, style, and aesthetic better than I would ever be able to verbalize to anyone else. She has impeccable taste, she pays attention to detail, and she truly cares about your event as if it were her own! Brandi's team and our vendors handled all of the setup, and Anderson Pavilion was so accommodating in letting us drop our items at the venue a few days prior to the wedding. That, to a bride, is SUCH a sense of relief because at that point you know it's out of your hands and you can just enjoy the excitement of all your guests arriving to your favorite city and spending precious time with them. I also want to callout that all of our vendors told me how wonderful and easy it is to work with Brandi and AP- which is so crucial for a seamless day! Our florist, Emerald La Fleur (who is a MUST hire for your event) commented on how nice it was to be able to come to the venue and determine how she would hang our floral installment above the serpentine bridal table and Brandi already had ideas from events they had hosted in the past and it put Emerald's mind at ease knowing it could be done! Keep in mind, Anderson Pavilion works exclusively with Eat Well Celebrations on catering and does not permit outside food. This was actually really nice because it prevented us from having to coordinate food and a tasting with another vendor. You'll just need to also plan to have a bridal lunch/brunch catered through Eat Well if the girls are planning to get ready at the venue on the morning of the wedding. You will get compliments from your guests on how incredible the food is and you'll feel the white glove service at your tasting! Don't skip the Sushi Cones or Steak Saratoga chips as your passed appetizer options! Now that my wedding is over, I'm just looking forward to the next time I get to be back in that space for a future wedding, corporate event, or fundraiser so I can experience the magic all over (this time as a guest as opposed to the host). You won't regret your decision to have your event at AP!

What an absolutely incredible reception venue for our wedding! Brandi was so easy to work with and made sure our day went as smooth as possible. The food was exceptional and we still have guests telling us how much they enjoyed it! The bar was never backed up and the service was unmatched for a wedding. The carousel makes for such a unique experience and guests also loved the personal touch it added to the day. Because the venue is downtown, they do provide police officers/guards at the entrances to ensure that no one is entering that shouldn't be. From the beginning of planning our wedding to the big day, Brandi was so incredibly helpful without being overbearing - she made the day absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend as a wedding reception venue!!!
